A Spectacular Erica

This was the first time we had seen the Erica here. It was apparently named in honour of the Countess of Shannon in the eighteenth century.

A stop of underexposure was used for this capture for the sake of the white flowers. This had effectively also darkened away other nearby foliage in the background.
