Oh lordy, so many! I barely follow but a fraction of Dogblr, but I hope I don’t leave anyone out (apologies if I do!)

@handsomedogs - the first dog blog I followed on tumblr many moons ago. I enjoy seeing their “Guess the Breeds” game, though I usually see it once it’s over haha

@lots-of-dogs - lots of quality dog photos that inspire me photographically

@oregonforestdog - who I am always confusing with @cynological

@cynological - who I am always confusing with @oregonforestdog

@mygermanshepherd - she is so sweet and her photography/editing styles inspire me, the way she documented Kilo’s final days was both heartbreaking and eye opening (take all kinds of photos and videos of and with your dog), Bjorn is developing into quite a handsome dog, and Lola is a cutie.

@pawsitivelypowerful - she has been my go to for all things German Shepherd (even though we’ve only spoke a handful of times). She’s incredibly knowledgeable and I respect her viewpoints.

@jakemyboy - possibly one of the kindest people in the Dogblr community, truly love seeing comments and messages from her

@huskiesadventures - beautiful photos and editing style

@spanishmal - another smart Dogblr, and Stark is handsome af

@shotinthekidney - I’ve been following Laura forever (going back to athreegermansproduction). I learned so much through her documentations of Martin and Bosco’s training and am forever grateful she shared it with us.

@schitzhund - she is smart af. It’s honestly hard for me to keep up with her but that’s half the fun haha. Plus she’s doing an amazing job with Happy!

These are just the ones I see most often on my dash! I know I’m missing a lot of folks who are on lass often or when I’m not. All of the above share a lot of information through reblogs and original content.

Two blogs I will always love but are no longer active are @theseinconvenientfireworks for her photography talent, and @dogsaremypatronus for her knowledge and photography. Dig down in both of those accounts if you didn’t follow when they were active years ago.

Mars is the adopted daughter of Cosmo and Luna of @cosmodoop. I find it interesting that you named her Mars considering Mars is a man and god of war.

I picked Mars because it’s short, unisex, has kind of a magical vibe with the ties to space & mythology, and denotes chaos a bit. On my name list it was Marlaina/Marlene (Mars for short) but within a few weeks I had completely phased out any long form and just gone with Mars. She has a thousand nicknames and titles though - Mars God of War, Mars Destroyer of Worlds, Sailor Mars, Marzipan, Marzipanda, Martian, Marlene Dietrich, Marsupial, Mars Bar, Mars Attacks!, Spacedog, Mars Rover...Love @cosmodoop‘s space names too - Cosmos is one of many aussies on here that makes me like constantly aware that I want an aussie, and actually Cosima made the short list of things I almost named Mars, but I feel like her fake internet parents are probably @sidetongue‘s Henry & Miller

There's cats in faculty meetings and then there's my cat.
