Chantel hired Astoria to find out why Daz Scrote hadn’t proposed to her yet- they are already married but anywaaay. Astoria then had a quick little boogie while her Uncle Clyde objected. After snooping in the mail and the garbage (which is illegal I believe but this is Sims so it’s OK) she discovered that Daz had bought a ring and flowers but thrown them away. I hope we'll see Lady Lylla in the MCU, e.g. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3". The Telltale GotG video appearance was her best potrayal in my opinion.

Perhaps in the MCU, they could add elements from the video game and elements 1985 comics with the appearance of her "Toy Wars" parsona, e.g maybe they escaped the lab together and went on the run as a "Bonnie and Clyde" style couple (maybe she could be a composite of Lylla and Otta Spice). Perhaps Lylla decided she was tired of living on the run and instead wanted to have a peaceful future life with Rocket together, but he got scared and abandoned her or harshly dumped her in order to protect himself. Maybe she gave him up to the police (or does so later on) but later regrets it.

Perhaps Lylla gains the title of Lady Lylla after she decides to overthrow the scientist who made her and the other animal "security guards". She may and maybe Blackjack O'Hare (who may be her fiance) have started a revolution on Half-World. The both of them hope to create a new world for the Half-World creatures, where they can be free of the scientists grip on them and have their own world free of the humans that tortured and enslaved them. She may possibly be the owner of the "Toy Company" which could either be toys to promote the peaceful Utopia she dreams of, or may possibly be weapons which will serve as the military to protect the Half-World creatures.

Unlike Rocket who is cynical and full of self-hatred over being a "freak" and a "little monster", Lylla embarces being a freak and says she's proud to be one (which add a lot of depth if Lady Gaga plays her, as she's someone who embraces being "wonderfully weird"). Perhaps she hides her insecurities with a playful and carefree attitude, and perhaps has a hard time taking things seriously or thinking over the consequences of her actions, e.g. partying, drinking and flirting to hide her pain and insecurities.

Despite possibly being in relationship (and possibly be engaged) to Blackjack O'Hare, Lylla is more doing it for purely pragmatic reasons rather than love, e.g. Blackjack O'Hare will protect the creatures in military, while Lylla will look after technological advancement and leadership of the Half-World creatures. Despite holding some resentment against Rocket for how their relationship ended, she comes to realise that she's still in love with him and eventually forgives him. Rocket may even come out his hardened shell due to his previous character growth in his past movie appearances. Eventually both realise that they love each other and want to be with each other, despite life taking them in opposite directions, e.g. Rocket has his family (especially Groot) to take care of, while Lylla has her responsibilities to the Half-Worlders and cannot abandon them.

If they take the noble root with Blackjack O'Hare, I could definitely see Rocket and Lylla parting ways similar to Rick Blaine and Ilsa's goodbye in "Casablanca"

If they take the villain root with Blackjack O'Hare, maybe Lylla dies in her attempts of protecting Rocket or someone he loves. That or maybe Lylla decides to leave Half-World and decides to journey across the Galaxy with Rocket and the other Guardians at the encouragement of Wal-Rus, at the promise that he'll protect and lead the Half-Worlders with love and respect that they deserve.

I wonder how Lylla and Groot will get on? I could see Groot either instantly loving Lylla and wants her to be his *mother* (therefore he ships Rocket and Lylla from the beginning) or he's more resentful to Lylla stealing his *father's* attention and also feels she's trying to replace Gamora (who Groot saw as his mother figure). Perhaps in time she will win Groot's love and respect, which as a result allows Groot to give Rocket and Lylla his blessing. There could be a twist where Lylla turns out to be the villain and betrays Rocket and Groot, but I kind of hope they don't take that route.

I think these songs "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner or "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" by REO Speedwagon could match Rocket and Lylla's relationship well.

I hope we do see Lady Lylla in "Guardians of thy Galaxy Vol. 3" and if we're lucky some other appearances too.

I could see Lylla teasing and challenging Rocket to sing with her, which he refuses until she says "Eh, just as well. You probably sing terribly." which is enough to get Rocket to try and prove her wrong. They softly sing to Peaches and Herb "Reunited" as it plays to Peter Quill's list of songs. It's playful and teasing, but slowly grows into an emotionally intimate moment between them.

I wonder if Half-World got the positive out of the Snap as maybe the Scientist vanished and the Half-World creatures tried to make a new life for themselves as result (though many of themselves were also lost). The Blip caused the Scientist to come back, so now the Half-Worlders are in a "Toy War" for their world back. Perhaps Rocket hopes to help Lylla get her home back as he got his family back in the Blip, but she lost her home as a result. His seemingly out of character gesture could be for "old times sake", but it is hinted that he's doing due to his feelings for Lylla. She may hold a grudge against him for the Blip (though she's also glad to have those animals back who were lost) and their rough past, but may over time forgive him, and come to see a better him in the "family man" he's become (especially as a father to Groot).

It’s been almost 3 years since GotG came out and Rocket Raccoon became hugely popular and I still keep seeing people wondering: Who’s Lylla?

You probably all know her as Rocket’s (ex) girlfriend, who is also an otter. She’s  appeared in VERY few stories, even less so than Blackjack O’Hare or Wal Russ. According to official sources, she’s coming back in the upcoming Rocket solo comic. 

So, to refresh some people’s memories of the character, or if you don’t know who she is, here’s a post with EVERY time she’s appeared in since Rocket’s debut to this day.

Time for Chardonnay to age up! No-one celebrated because they were too busy squabbling outside.

[This will be the last post from my Amberville save for now. Unfortunately I had put some high poly hairs (both 30k plus) in my packages folder to use in screenshots and forgot to take them out, stupidly! Even though they were not used in this save, it still caused crashing to desktop due to exceeded memory issues and damaged my Amberville save file (and I had to delete the save the hairs were in because it was crashing within minutes of opening it). This was really sad because I have put so much work into Amberville over the years. So, before the save got completely corrupted I made the decision to move all Amberville residents to Woeford, something I have had on my ‘to do list’ for a long time. I will dearly miss Amberville but I’m looking forwards to the change. It will take a little while for me to get things up and running. 

So my friendly advice is, don’t put high poly stuff in your game if you enjoy playing your saves, folks! If the creator/ converter/ re-texturer doesn’t state polycount please please do check yourself before using it, especially hairs (even if they look Maxis Match-y) and decor items (https://mspoodle1.tumblr.com/post/138971769880/checking-polycount-for-sims-3-package-files-in) To check CAS items select and then right-click on the GEOM files in S3PE and choose ‘GEOM preview’]

People started to crowd the park and Bridie wouldn’t let Penny have a go on the swings, so she left just as the sky began to darken.

Fortunately Chardonnay was unharmed and no-one died in the meteor strike.

Astoria and Kelly got married. Kelly didn’t approve of the venue or most of the guests. Although to be fair half of them hadn’t even been invited.

I spotted Clyde at the pool with the Mooney twins. They seem to go everywhere together 😬
