i was thinking about something recently and man, i was like god i am so dumb because it JUST dawned on me. Sieun doesn't like when anyone touches him. He pulls away from yeong-i when she grabs him, and he pulls away when his dad touches his face. he just doesn't want to be touched. but he willingly grabs suho's hand. he lets suho adjust his clothes, check his hand after the fight. He lets suho touch him so easily. esp when he asked about fighting and suho touches his chin to tilt it down. this is a complete swap to the sieun that we had seen early in the show AND with any one else. so what does this mean? they are boyfriends. thank you for listening.

i know everyone dislikes Beomseok but i think he's one of the characters that need the most empathy and accountability at the same time. he was a puzzle piece that never really seem to fit anywhere. he was easily insecure and the confidence he had from being close to suho and sieun was fragile.

the love sieun must've had for Beomseok to not treat him the like the others. the look in sieuns eyes as Beomseok told him he should understand him. and he did.

Beomseok knew he deserved whatever violence Sieun was going to do and yet i think sieun loving Beomseok as much as he did and not hitting him hurt beomseok more.

now if i can redirect: (nothing is coherent anyways i'm just YAPPING)

I think the years of abuse and mistreatment from home and school, beomseok was a ticking time bomb, but i don't think he ever wanted to kill suho. did he want him to be beaten up? sure. did he want suho to feel just as embarrassed and low as he did? yes. All of his anger, all his rage, disappeared when suho stopped moving. he was terrified he lost his friend. he knew sieun wasn't going to forgive him. he had yet again lost people that he was close to. all because of miscommunication. because of insecurity. tragic really.

Youth dramas always leave a deep impression specially when you are in your mid 20s and even early 30s. I think we tend to enjoy and feel nostalgic about things we probably never enjoyed in our youth. But we surely have been through that phase right? Some are already matured , some are too casual , some extremely emotional and some too carefree. It all wraps around the fact that youth is the best time of your life when you unapologetically learn and experience the best moments in life. Starting from 2521 to When I fly towards you and now Twinkling watermelon - the best part about youth dramas is that they flow they teach you touch you and then just create magic!! 🪄
