Former TV host Dr. Phil McGraw managed to rattle “The View” hosts this week when he joined them to discuss, among other things, the negative impact Covid lockdowns had on children.
The 73 year old TV personality and author said “school children suffered, and will suffer more from the mismanagement of Covid than they will from the exposure to Covid.”

All of this is so #Wrong 😢😢😢March 8, 2018 A leading #Americanbioethicist has backed a #Dutchlaw that eradicates all age limits for #euthanasia – meaning schildren can be #medically, and #legally , #executed 😤 Presently, euthanasia in The #Netherlands is legal starting at #age12 . You would expect that American experts would be appalled by this law, but that’s not the case. U.S. Ethics #ProfessorMargaretPBattin #ActivelySupportsIt , and essentially advocates for the #GroningenProtocol . The Protocol contains directives with criteria under which #physicians can perform “active ending of life on #infants ” without fear of #prosecution. “I generally support [the] change in Dutch law governing eligibility for euthanasia.‍ Given that euthanasia is currently legal for infants 1 year of age and children and adults 12 years of age, I believe that opponents would have to show evidence that at least 1 and perhaps many of the following propositions are true if they are to persuade you [a hypothetical #Dutchhealthminister ] not to support the change in the law,” Prof. Battin said in a roundtable discussion on the issue in the Pediatrics journal. Battin then lists a few shocking propositions that must be proved wrong, one of which being, “parents aren’t harmed by seeing their #childrensuffer .” So, if a parent feels that they are suffering from the sight of their child going through pain, it is OK to “put them down.” What Battin is saying, then, is that the euthanasia of children is justified as long as it does not become a “ #blanketkilling ” of all children who are deemed to be #disabled . #MargaretPBattin

Sometimes I'm puzzled about life as I go about my life trying my best. I admit I have my ups and downs and have encountered adversity and I witnessed 9/11 on television and read the Diary of Anne Frank and cried and now I see what's going on in Aleppo as I worry about my son and family and I look upon these kids and babies trapped in a war zone and families torn apart with virtually no chance of survival. I start feeling guilty living my life when I see such misery and heart break but I must live my life though I have a heavy heart ❤️ #childrensuffering #aleppo #syria #alepposyria #life #suicide #bipolar #autism #transwoman (at Burlington Coat Factory)

We still haven't learned from the past and it seems we never will with innocent young children dying in the face of brutal dictatorships and ongoing war. #aleppo #syria #alepposyria #annefrank #war #dictatorships #tragedy #humansuffering #childrensuffering (at Aleppo, Syria)
