Alas, no bingo!

Okay so - I was very put off by her in the beginning - and not just because of the racism, because lets face it, Garry is just as bigoted in Me1. Because of the religion. It wasn't overt, luckily, but I have my own personal issues with anything religious so it wasn't really her fault.

But it was hard to not eventually come to like a no frills female soldier - Im a sucker, after all. I like that she wasn't overtly "barbie-fied" in Me1, (despite the initial knee jerk judgement that she was gonna be in that pink armor.) I think they initially did a great job with her - her manner of speech is no nonsense and she seems really genuine in her interactions, and she easily has some of the best snarky/funny one liners in all three games in Me1. She lost her whole platoon on Eden Prime but forged ahead and does what is asked of her with dignity, especially obvious if you leave her on Virmire - she doesn't question Shep at all, she understands what she has to do and she is so admirably strong.

I like that she has her full circle moments in Me3 about her previous feelings towards aliens in Me1, and how she really comes to love Tali like a sister - but Bioware really dropped the ball barbie-fying her in Me3 looks wise, and I feel like they really toned her snarky personality down too, it was such a shame. I really wish they'd explored her thoughts and feelings more in Me3 and that her arc resolutions had been more overt or explored more.

Give her her bun and let her dunk the ppl around her Bioware!
