I love when something small is said and it does a lot of damage but that's not revealed until later and then when it is revealed the one who said it suddenly is hit with so much regret they want to cry because they didn't mean it like that but it hurt them and it pains them that they could hurt someone they cared about so much.

#this is specifically about a scene from a fic i read #where Odile told sif to not come to the clocktower for a while and sif interpreted it as 'don't come home'#and Odile was very much upset that she lost her cool and said something like that #but also just...Odile in general?#Cause Sif's so jealous of her so anytime she'd talk about her family or her home country it'd hurt them #they wouldn't tell her cause like. not her fault #but it'd be bittersweet for him #They'd be happy she has that but at the same time so pissed at the world because 'why couldn't he have that too?'#that goes for everyone actually.#He's glad that no one has to suffer the way they do. but also #it's like starving and watching your family eat without you #and no matter what they do their family can't give them their food because it's not the same. it might fill their stomach slightly but...#it's not THEIRS. it wont fill the hole in his heart and memories.#they can help Siffrin heal and turn his wounds into scars but at the end of the day the scars are there and they will remain #woah i did not mean to say all of that whoops. anyways #isat spoilers #eeppyy speaks
