#Can't wait till Voltron Season 3 !!

Galra Keith - Voltron S03

In the post i posted earlier i talked about how one of Lotor’s generals was the same as the one Keith and Hunk met in the Weblum (S02EP09) 

meaning that the Galra General could have overheard the conversation Keith and Hunk were having in the Weblum. 

I believe that things could take a bad turn for the Paladins of Voltron if the galra has overheard them or if Lotor just somehow figures out that Keith is part Galra. 

Prince Lotor is said to use his intelligence and manipulation above brute strenght. Lotor has a way of getting inside people their heads and what better oppertunity than Voltrons current (Black) Red paladin being part Galra. 

Lotor will probably try to tear Voltron if not the peoples hope and trust in Voltron appart by revealing that one of the Voltron Paladins is a Galra. Lotor could point out that being a Paladin doesnt mean that someone is to be trusted by referring to his father - Emperor Zarkon being the first Black Paladin. 

But i don’t think that this is all that Lotor is going to do or has to do for the people to lose hope in Voltron. Lotor would want to show the universe that the Red Paladin (maybe than still Black Paladin) off Voltron is a Galra. Just telling them wouldn’t be enough because who would believe him outside of the galra empire. They would say that Keith looks nothing like a galra and that it can’t be true. Lotor would have to reveal Keith as a galra by actually showing them that he’s Galra.

and not just them but he would want to tear the Paladins of Voltron from the inside out and not just them. He would want Keith to fall appart and turning him into a Galra would do just that. 

We all know how Keith felt about being Galra even before he found out for sure. It was a burden to him and he felt like a burden to the team and not to forget how Allura threated him after they found out that he was part galra. Keith didn’t go in against it as much, cause most Galra are bad people and Keith gets how people feel about them. But it also made him doubt about himself.

If Keith would take on the appearance of a Galra it would tear him appart. and we all know that it could be possible. We have all seen how Keith’s hand turned purple when one of the Druids their magic hit him. (S01EP10) 

We’ve seen enough Druid magic through the series now to know that someones skin turning purple isn’t something that normally happens when hit. Keith’s the only one and that could point to the Druids magic drawning his Galra side out. 

also looking at the past two seasons, i’ve noticed that Keith just always managed to run into a Druid or two over the season. So the change of getting hit again could be pretty big if you ask me. 

But if you ask me if Lotor is going to do what i think he’s going to do than i have the feeling that it wont be just some random run in with the Druids. I think that Lotor would make it something big. 

This scene of the new trailer has me believe that the Galra have taken an attempt on attacking the Castle of Lions by boarding it during a fight or later on when no one saw it coming. 

This could either just be to try and take the Voltron Lions, or try and take the castle out from Inside out. But it could also be an attempt to kidnapping Keith and transforming him with the use of the Druids their magic for everyone to see. Only to have him rescued or released by the other Paladins and the Blade of Marmorra who also see Keith as part off them. 

The purple on his hand dissapeared after getting hit by the quintessence. But what if this doesn’t always works. What if it doesn’t work when a transformation is complete or if a certain ammount of time has passed. Besides quintessence appears to be the lifes energy of planets and of living creatures. I pretty much doubt that the Paladins will be able to get their hands onto it if not before its too late. 

People believed or hope that when Keith was revealed as a Galra that he would turn into one over time as well. Theories started to appear and to be honest, i’m also one of those people who would love to see a Galra looking Keith. 

(cause who doesn’t love a purple space cat) 

But i also feel like that this is what the creators of Voltron are slowly heading towards too. I think they left so many questions about Keith’s Galra side open on purpose. Revealing more about it over the seasons will be far more interesting and not just that. But i believe that if Keith where to turn Galra it somehow would improve their bond as a team. 

asside from that  the creators off Voltron aren’t just walking down the plain path of black and white. as in the galra are bad and the altean are good way. 

They have showed with The Blade of Marmorra showing up and joining the Paladins in their fight against the Galra Empire, that there are good Galra out there. Including Keith in this as well. 

and they have revealed that Haggar, the right hand of Emperor Zarkon is an Altean, and let’s not forget about Prince Lotor who we assume is part Galra, part Altean like he was in the previous series. 

So i believe that were going to see a lot more when it comes to this. 

So what do you people think of my theorie on Galra Keith’s reveal?? I for one hope im right, I however believe that this could also be something for maybe a season later. Seeing that S02 revolved a lot around Keith, and seeing how much is going on now with Lotor showing up, Shiro dissapearance, The Switch of the Voltron Paladins and more. 

Pherhaps it’s something for the end of this season leaving us with this as our Season 3 cliffhanger. Something we all know Voltron is terribly good at. Seriously i first thought that nothing could be worse than the S01 Cliffhanger, well the S02 Cliffhanger showed me how wrong i was so XD I wouldn’t be surpriced if the S03 Cliffhanger would be even worse.

so uhhhh why did you tag this as allurance? that’s pretty rude. //s are your friend if you’re posting ship negativity (all/urance or allur/ance or however you want to do it). this isn’t an allurance post. this is an “allurance is over, klance is happening now” post, not exactly what people look for when they’re searching for allurance. 

but anyway--

why can’t lance respect allura and still have a romantic crush on her? i don’t understand why people keep insisting that it’s one or the other. perhaps, instead, his feelings for her have matured because he’s grown to respect her, so he’s less obnoxious about it. that’s a valid interpretation too, and one that jeremy shada supports. 

When Lance first met Allura he instantly tried to flirt with her but do you feel like his crush is morphing more into respect?

I think a lot of it is equally both. No matter what he finds her attractive. Obviously he has a crush on her for sure. They’ve really bonded as friends as well and a lot of that is just a huge amount of respect for her.

When you’re with someone for that amount of time and you’re in these crazy intense situations I think he sees her strength and leadership and he definitely completely respects her for that. It’s great just seeing them bond as these great friends. He still definitely has a crush on her but I think you see that respect for her has grown over time.

What was Lance’s mindset when he saw Matt flirting with Allura?

Lance is probably the jealous type. I think Lance in the back of head still thinks he has a shot with her and would probably like that to be a relationship. He sees this other guy coming in and being all suave and cool, so there’s an element of that jealous aspect for sure. He likes being the center of attention.

we have this interview with jeremy shada in which he repeatedly clarifies that lance still has romantic feelings for allura...

lance’s vlog, which was almost entirely about him being in love with allura...

and the scene in s4 where lance gets jealous of matt (which you did acknowledge, and which jeremy shada specifically clarified did indicate romantic jealousy, not protectiveness as many assumed).

these all indicate that lance does still have romantic feelings for allura, whether one likes it or not. 

i’m also not a fan of the idea of lance focusing his attention on allura only because keith isn’t around. even if he wasn’t romantically interested in allura anymore and was romantically interested in keith instead, why would that mean that allura would be second-best in his heart? platonic love is not weaker than romantic love. he can miss keith and enjoy allura's company at the same time. he doesn’t need to try; it’s what he does naturally.

do you ever just remember

Lance’s feelings for Allura are shifting from that of a romantic crush to feelings of platonic love and RESPECT and he loves her so much but still has a crush on her but she’s rejected him so he’s trying to get over that and then one day when he’s feeling low he goes to talk to Keith who tries comforting him despite being terrible at emoting and that makes Lance feel so fond and he’s heart just skips a beat and he’s - ‘oh shit, my heart just skipped a beat’ and normally that shouldn’t be a sign enough to realize you have a crush on someone Lance has been developing a crush on Keith for ages so when Keith’s door closes he had to just stand there thinking fondly of Keith when he realizes he has a crush and he’s not even panicked because Keith, and Lance’s feelings for him keep growing while he slowly begins to let go of his crush on Allura but then Keith starts to distance himself from the rest of the team and Lance feels it’s because of him and he feels so wrong and then panics because maybe he wasn’t right and then Keith leaves and Lance wants to be happy but his heart’s tearing apart and he just can’t. So he focuses on the coalition and his obnoxious confident facade when all he really wants to do is hug and hold and kiss and cuddle Keith and Allura’s so amazing and cool, so he tries to focus is attention on her and he really loves her and admires her and is very fond of her, but his romantic feelings for her just keep decreasing and he just has moments where he feels strongly for her now but all the romantic part of his feelings fade quickly leaving pride and fondness and respect and Keith please come back.

Voltron S03

So after watching the Voltron S03 trailers, the pannels and meeting some spoilers along the way (which i wont be sharing don’t worry) i got a few idea’s of my own about season 3. 

first off all most of us know bout the temporarely lion switch coming up. In the trailer we first see how the paladins try to cope without a black paladin but it just doesnt work out. 

Keith will  eventually step up as Black paladin with Lance taking his place as the Red Paladin. now i feel like this is going to be a way for great character development for both Keith and Lance in S03. We all know from S02 that Lance has been doubting his role as the Blue Paladin but I think that Lance will because of this realise his role as the Blue Paladin. 

With Lance taking over Red I believe that Allura is going to be Blue’s temporarely pilot but that it isn’t going to work out. Lance will realise how much he actually means as Blue paladin and the fact that he’s able to fly red for the time being is probably going to help him as well. I also think that judging from the audio of s03 first episode they have released at SDCC that Lance will become a source of comfort for Keith and the others.

asside from the Lion switch up i wanna talk about Prince Lotor and his female generals. To be honest i first thought that the picture was fake when i saw it pass by. But i’ve seen more screenshots pass by and when i saw the trailer again i saw one of his generals fighting against the Paladins. 

now looking at the general their armors, it finally awnsers the question about the galra Keith met in the Weblum. Which has lead me to a theorie for season 3 and honestly i hope i’m right about this.

What we know about Lotor is that he doesn’t rule through brute force like Zarkon does. Lotor is said to use his intelligence and to be very manipulative. Lotor has a way of getting inside peoples heads which could cause big problems. 

Which is something i’ll come back to in the following post. XD (cliffhanger noo!!) 

as for what’s going to happen with the search for Shiro and let’s not forget the Holts. (Something Pidge has come closer too during season 2)

I don’t know .... or i do XD who knows. But i’m sure that this season is going to have a lot in store for us.
