pedri’s gf being treated like a princess and also being a pillow princess please 🙏🏻
A/N: Him playing today just gave me so much inspiration lol.
Warnings: Smut
•••
Pedri walked out of the match trying to get back to the locker room. But before he could head back he was pushed over to give interviews. He had just played his 100th match with Barça and had scored the only goal of the match.
Sometime later he finally made his way to the locker room and his face lit up when he turned on his phone and saw all of your texts coming in.
-Great match, my star boy 💫
-Your 100th game played like a true king 👑
-Te quiero
Pablo changing next to him began to laugh. -You’re so whipped Pedri.
Pedri turned over to his friend and threw a light punch against his chest.
-We will see when you find someone.
-What happened to being too young for a girlfriend? - Taunted Gavi.
-I also said you couldn’t force anything and this just happened.
Gavi have a slight pat on Pedri’s head and walked away leaving Pedri finally time to call you. Since the match had ended you had been anxiously waiting for your phone to ring.
-Pedri. - you said into the phone with a smile.
-Princesa.
-Congratulations, my star boy. You played amazing.
Pedri laughed . -Te hecho de menos.-
-I miss you too, Pedri. What time will you be home?
-It’s too late for us to head back, I think. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow morning.
-But Girona is only about an hour away.
-Rules are rules princesa.
-You know, the yellow kit looks amazing on you. -You said nervously. Can you wear that tomorrow?
-Only if you don’t wear anything. - He responded with a chuckle.
A few seconds later you hung up and went to bed. You couldn’t wait for Pedri to come back home. He had left you extremely needy with how gorgeous he looked during the match and you wanted nothing more than to be in between his arms.
Hours later you were woken up by noise in the room. When you opened your eyes he was standing over the bed in his yellow jersey.
You smiled. -Pedri.-
He smiled back and got into the bed. He planted a small kiss on your forehead but before you could kiss him back he moved himself down your body. He went under the covers.
-All I could think about after we hung up was having you here, like this. Open your legs for me. - he said as he began to kiss your inner thighs.
He slowly grabbed your underwear from either side and slowly began to slide it off.
-I love how these look on you, but love it even more how they look off of you.- he whispered as he threw your underwear somewhere on the floor of his room.
His lips began to leave small kisses from your feet all the way up to your thighs. Before getting to your core Pedri looked up and stared at you with his beautiful brown eyes. You looked at him with your mouth open because you wished you could keep this view of him forever engraved in your memories.
You closed your eyes and that’s when you felt Pedri’s tongue on you. He started off slowly as his hands grabbed your ass and pulled you towards him causing his tongue to go in deeper.
A moan with his name escaped your lips as you arched your back in pleasure. One of your hands grabbed his hair while the other grabbed onto the bedsheet. He groaned.
His tongue was majestic. It felt soft and delicious against you. As you laid there taking all of the pleasure in you were startled when Pedri introduced two of his fingers in you.
—Pedri.- You moaned as you began to move your hips. He looked up but his tongue never lost contact with you. You continued to move your hips against his mouth and eventually began to feel the friction of his beard against you. Without hesitation you continued to move against his face. You heard him moan your name.
The sheer view of him in between your legs, with his rosy cheeks and his frazzled hair was enough to send you into overdrive. He continued to move his tongue in and out of you causing you to moan.
-Pedri.- you said as he looked up at you.
-Come up.- he quickly moved himself up and you sat up facing him. He lifted your shirt over your head and his eyes lit up when he saw you were wearing nothing underneath. His mouth immediately went to suck your nipples as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
You motioned for him to take his shirt off. You needed to see his bare chest and chiseled abs.
-I thought you wanted me to wear it.- he said with a smirk.
-And now I want you to take it off. - you said as you bit your lip. -It’s done it’s job.-
You slowly helped Pedri take the shirt off leaving him bare in front of you. He looked at you and licked his lips.
-You’re beautiful, you know that princesa?- he said causing you to smile.
-I think you’ve told me a few hundred thousand times.- you joked. Pedri laughed and went in to kiss you.
-You have no idea how lucky I am to have you.- he whispered as his lips touched yours again.
-Te quiero, my star boy.-

As it is Catalan national day tomorrow, is there a parade or festival in Barcelona do you know? I had heard that it starts at parc guell
Like every year, there's the demonstrations for the right to choose and independence. This year, it won't be centralised in Barcelona as it had been for many years, but each area will do it in their main city. Each one of the 5 marches will focus on one of the most important losses we get for being subjects of Spain and the way it treats us (housing in Barcelona, the fiscal theft that damages healthcare in Girona, the trains disaster in Tarragona, the abandonment of the countryside and farmers in Lleida, and the theft of water and centralisation and territorial inequality in Tortosa). You can find all the information in ANC's website:
The demonstration in Barcelona (unitary call by ANC, Òmnium, CDRs, AMI, Intersindical, CIEMEN, and Consell per la República) will start at Estació de França and walk to Arc de Triomf.
I haven't heard anything about anyone doing something at Park Güell though. Who is calling that? It seems strange because it's so far away from the main thing. CUP always does its own block so they meet either right before or right after the unitary one, this year they're meeting at 18:30 at Urquinaona, after going to the unitary march. But the most important thing is to attend the unitary one, so it seems suspicious that anyone would call at the other end of the city.

Last weekend in Valencia :)
Friday
ASV kicked off the weekend by relaxing after work with some drinks. The bus ride was filled with music and good vibes, setting the tone for the evening. We headed to a cozy cafe where one of the teachers brought along her adorable dog, Milo. It was a lovely to have him around!
Later, my friends and I invited classmates from Route 66, Benthe and Luca, to join us at Radio City. We had such a nice time! Live music and great company made it an unforgettable night.
Saturday
The morning started with a bit of shopping, buying some souvenirs to remember our time in Valencia. Then, we explored the beautiful Ciudad De Las Artes Y Las Ciencias, followed by a lovely walk in Turia Park. Nature and architecture combined for a picturesque day. Of course, we refueled with some delicious food.
In the evening, we met up with Luca again, hanging out in the vibrant city center. We went to a nice cafe and had some drinks. It was really nice :)
Sunday
We had a lazy morning, catching up on some much needed sleep. Later, we went to a Valencia football game, despite the disappointing 0-3 loss against Girona. Nevertheless, we made the most of the day by taking a lovely walk through the city center before calling it a night. Valencia, you've been amazing! 🥹🫶

Roman Heritage – in the Rain!
Sunday 27th October 2024 – Tarragona, Spain (Day 2)
(NB This entry has been subsequently edited with additional notes and photos.)
We were joined in port this morning by Wind Star, built in 1986 and a bit bigger than us, with up to 148 passengers.
However, she has electric winches and her sails are all computer-controlled rather than manual like ours, but she’s much better company than that MSC monster we had yesterday! Don’t let the brief showing of the sun get your hopes up……
Today’s excursion was to see the Roman bits of the city that have either survived or been uncovered. The city of Tarraco was Hannibal’s capital but after the Romans captured it from the Carthaginians, it became one of Rome’s most important cities in Iberia.
There were only about 26 on our excursion this morning but I was the only English-speaking person in the group, so a handful (and the Germans can sometimes be a handful!) joined the English guide, although it didn’t stop them speaking German!
After a short panoramic drive through the city, we arrived at the Roman walls and the gate known as the Portal del Roser - they say because there was a Benedictine Monastery ('Rosary'?) but also that there was rose garden, neither of which are today in evidence!
Not much of the walls survive today but from this map and a model of the Circus and Forum, it was possible to see how ‘great’ Tarraco was in Roman times, supporting a population of some 40,000.
Much later, in the 12th century, the Cathedral was built on top of what was the Roman Temple of Augustus.
It boasts an octagonal crossing tower/dome and an incomplete 14th century façade, the work on which was halted by the plague. It was claimed at the time that the church was too high and had offended God, who sent the plague!
And as if to prove the point, this was when the heavens opened and it began tipping down with rain, so our half-hour of ‘free time’ was spent sheltering in the Cathedral, much to the annoyance of the locals, who don’t like tourists visiting on Sundays. Understandable, I guess.
Not far from the Cathedral in Carrer de la Merceria is Casa Corderet, the oldest known continuously-trading shop since 1751; a candle-maker's shop of all things!
We then visited a museum in part of the vaults beneath the great Circus, which adjoined the Forum, before seeing the few bits of the Circus that survive today.
Built in the 1st century AD, the Circus was vast at 325m long or 1,066ft and 115m or 377ft wide and held as many as 30,000 spectators. This was where the likes of Charleton Heston rode horse-drawn chariots called 'Quadrigas' in hair-raising races!
Sadly, apart from from this small section at one end of it, hardly anything remains above ground today. They want to uncover more but sadly, the city of Tarragona is bankrupt and can’t afford to.
However, the Roman city of Tarraco (as it was called back then) also had an Amphitheatre for gladiatorial fights and the burning of Christians etc (wholesome Saturday afternoon entertainment for the masses!). Rather more of its remains can be seen today....
Built in the early 2nd century, it was about 427m long (427ft) and about 102m (335ft) wide and housed around 15,000 spectators.
Our walking tour finished at the Mediterranean Balcony, a viewpoint at the end of the Rambla Nova, the modern city’s main avenue, overlooking the sea and the commercial port.
Returning to Sea Cloud II for lunch, we finally put to sea in the afternoon. However, the rain swept in again with such intensity that they cancelled the raising of the sails!
And just to put a further dampener on things, we’ve been told that there’s a bus drivers’ strike tomorrow, so my excursion to Girona is cancelled and I have to do another walking tour of Palamos instead! Captain’s Gala Dinner tonight though……!

L’Escala to Alcalá de Henares
We had a sleep in this morning before heading down to the beach for a swim and breakfast. Another beautiful morning.
Back home for showers, last minute packing and taking out of rubbish before the taxi arrived to take us to Girona. In between all that I had a quick video call with my school friends talking over some of the logistics of our cruise in November 😎
It was pretty much 7 hours door to door from the taxi picking us up in L’Escala, 2 trains - Girona, Barcelona, Madrid and then a taxi to Alcalá. We had a picnic lunch on the train from Barcelona to Madrid. I really quite like train travel. I’d choose it any day over flying.
Our Airbnb is quite nice though they’re obviously not used to hosting drinkers. Not a wine glass in sight and I had to buy a bottle opener 😯
We went for a short stroll to a bar we visited last year with the two Mums. It had won an award for best tapas, though it certainly won’t be winning any awards for friendly service. From there we headed to the Carrefour for provisions. Rossi met us there and then we headed back to the apartment so they could all talk over drinks and nibbles.
Rossi left around 10:00pm and we had a quick snack of some leftovers I had brought with us. Now in bed writing this blog and about to turn out the light. Night, night 😴

oranje provisional squad dropped
thoughts under the cut because i have way too many
goalies are pretty standard so no notes there, olig will probably be dropped in the actual squad anyway
ake, van dijk, depay, de jong, de ligt were always going to be called up no surprises there
bergwijn being here is pure eredivisie favouritism lmao nothing else to say
blind has been great for girona i get it but ffs the man's 50 let it rest
brobbey's done well for ajax (not saying much lmaooo how's 5th place) so i'm not complaining
dumfries, gakpo, geertruida, koopmeiners, malen, quinten timber, van de ven, veerman are alright i don't mind them (less so on geertruida but tbh i don't watch enough of the eredivisie to make a solid judgement)
FRIMPONG FINALLY CALLED UP THE OLD MAN FINALLY TOOK HIS HEAD OUT HIS ASS 😭😭💗💗 THANK THE LORD
i'll want to be nice to gravenberch since it's his birthday but i'm 99% sure he'll either be dropped or play a total of 10 minutes lmao
maatsen call up 🥳🥳 hope he wins the cl and the euros i'm proud of him
happy with xavi, reijnders and de roon (even though he's 50 he's the goat idc)
schouten getting a call up once he moves back to the eredivisie WOW WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED THIS (not complaining though he's alright)
now.
WOUT WEGHORST ON MY SCREEN IN 2024 WHEN ZIRKZEE EXISTS KOEMAN YOU WILL PAYYY YOU WILL PAY I CANT BELIEVE THIS HE IS THE WORST PLAYER ALIVE I SWEAR DOWN
wijnaldum too please he plays in the saudi league that should be an automatic sign to retire him from the nt 😭😭
annoying that summerville isn't here, jurrien i can understand considering he's yet to play a minute for the first team since his injury (thanks arteta ig) and wieffer's out rn so that's reasonable too
i'll survive teze/van hecke not being here bc our defence minus the saudi playing fraud is still decent
i think that's everyone? interested to see who will be dropped (in an ideal world it would be weghorst but he brought 2 attackers so we have no choice!!! love this team!!)
if i could add anyone it would be summerville and zirkzee for bergwijn and weghorst because COME ON but koeman is koeman sigh
there is something to be said about how little attacking power we have lmao are we planning on defending the whole tournament please koeman i need you to understand that you were an anomaly 😭😭 defenders don't score that many goals
anyway enough yapping we're winning the euros 🫡🧡
#ami talks#a lot#can't wait for the euros#oranje#dutch nt#twitter has a character limit#and making threads annoy me#so i'm subjecting you all to my ranting

Inktober day 7: Fumera
Bit of context before explaining Fumera, in Catalonia as well as celebrating Christmas, we also celebrate the "dia de Reis" (day of the Three Wise Men) on the 6th of January and it's arguably a more important festivity than Christmas itself. Like Christmas, we also receive presents that day, but these are brought by the Tres Reis Mags d'Orient (Three Wise Men), who like Santa Claus (who has been adopted thanks to american advertisements' influence) keep track of which kids have been nice or naughty. To do so, they have a group of helpers, called Patges (pages) who keep an eye on the kids and then inform their majesties about it. They also collect the letters kids write to the Wise Kings asking for presents.
Fumera (his name can be translated to "Chimney") is one of these pages. He keeps track of kids in Northern Catalonia, the Province of Girona and Alt Empordà. He is a being with seven eyes, four on his face and three at the back of his head, as well as an extra one on his index finger, which he can stretch to spy better. His name comes from the fact that he enters into each home from the chimney. Like all the other pages he is used to ensure that kids behave; good kids will receive presents while naughty kids will receive a bag of coal.
És un misteriós benefactor que tot ho veu, tot ho sent i tot ho xerra. (He is a mysterious benefactor who sees everything, hears everything and tells everything.)

THE DESCRIPTION OF SAINT ANTHONY MARY CLARET Feast Day: October 24
"I will be kind to everybody, particularly to those whom I find troublesome."
The founder of the Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Claretians, was born Anthony Maria Claret i Clarà, in Sallent, Barcelona, Spain on December 23, 1807. He was the fifth of the eleventh children of Juan and Josefa Claret. His father was a woollen manufacturer. As a child he enjoyed pilgrimages to the nearby Shrine of Our Lady of Fussimanya.
He received an elementary education in his native village, and at the age of twelve became a weaver. At the age of 18, he went to Barcelona to specialize in his trade as a Jacquard loom programmer, and remained there until he was 20 years old. Meanwhile, he devoted his spare time to study and became proficient in Latin, French and engraving.
Frightened that his love of programming was causing him to become obsessed and burned out, and recognizing a call to religious life, he left Barcelona. He wished to become a Carthusian monk but finally entered the diocesan seminary at Vic in 1829, and was ordained on June 13, 1835, on the feast of St. Anthony of Padua. He received a benefice in his native parish, where he continued to study theology until 1839; but as missionary work strongly appealed to him, he proceeded to Rome. There he entered the Jesuit novitiate but had to leave due to ill health. He then returned to Spain and exercised his pastoral ministry in Viladrau and Girona, attracting notice through his efforts on behalf of the poor.
On July 16, 1849, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, he founded the Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose main apostolate was local and foreign missions, and founded the great religious library at Barcelona which was called 'Librería Religiosa' (now 'Librería Claret'). Pope Pius IX gave approval to the congregation on December 22, 1865.
The following year, he was appointed archbishop of Santiago de Cuba at the request of the Spanish crown via Pope Pius IX. He was consecrated at Vic in October 1850. Before he embarked, he made three separate pilgrimages: to Our Lady of the Pillar, patroness of Spain; to the Virgin of Montserrat, patroness of Catalonia; and to Our Lady of Fussimanya, near his home village. Finding the diocese in a miserable condition, he quickly initiated a spiritual reform. To continue his apostolate on a wider scale, he established on the island the Teaching Sisters of Mary Immaculate.
He was recalled to Spain in 1857, and made the chaplain of Queen Isabella II, who also made him her confessor. He also began the printing apostolate for the diffusion of the Good News. The Liberia Religiosa de Barcelona became a center of renewal and evangelization for the whole country.
In his final years, he went to Rome to prepare for the First Vatican Council. Owing to failing health he withdrew to Prada de Conflent in the French Pyrenees, where he was still harassed by his Spanish enemies; shortly afterwards he retired to the Cistercian abbey at Fontfroide, Narbonne, southern France, where he died on October 24, 1870 at the age of 62. In the course of his life, he is said to have preached 10,000 sermons and to have published 200 religious books.
Beatified on February 25, 1934 by Pope Pius XI and canonized a saint by Pope Pius XII on May 7, 1950, his major shrine can be found in Vic in Barcelona.
Anthony Mary Claret is the patron of textile merchants, weavers, the Claretians, and savings, in which he taught the poor the importance of savings.

To Madrid
Monday morning was glorious. Jose and I went out for a ride before our trip to Madrid tomorrow. It was a beautiful ride and very relaxed. Thankfully because Monday afternoon was all about packing 😞 Late afternoon we took ourselves out for a reviving sangria at the beach.
In the evening Martijn and the boys dropped round to pick up their Easter Tim tams. Today’s meals have all been about eating up what’s in the fridge. An early night as we have s big day tomorrow.
Tuesday everyone was up bright and early, a bit too early as it turned out 🙄 Anyway without too much fuss we drove to Girona, dropped off the hire car and caught the train to Madrid. It’s just under a 4 hour trip but the train is pretty comfortable so it passes quickly.
We’re staying about 35km outside of Madrid at Alcalá de Henares, birthplace of Cervantes and where one of Jose’s cousin lives (the others are all close by). It’s quite historic and a nice place to stay. We’re in an AirBnb and it is really nice and right in the centre of town, perfecto.
Late afternoon one of Jose’s cousins came to visit with her 3 year old, Nico. He is very entertaining and kept us all amused. By now we were being very typically Spanish and headed out for dinner around 8pm (well actually that is probably still a bit early for them).
We only had to walk a few metres to the corner and we were in amongst it. For a Tuesday night it was very busy but we found a bar called Indalo (John will get the significance). We ordered a bottle of wine and got almost a full meal in complimentary tapas. One more dish and we were done. The Mums are now in bed and we’re enjoying a glass of wine in front of tv.

interesting. i wonder what it would take to get him sacked since he’s an internal hire and probably has a lot of connections in the rfef? he’s such an average hire that it was really underwhelming when i first heard who would be replacing luis enrique. like i said, it’ll be really interesting to see how spain plays against teams of a higher calibre than they’ve been playing, i think that’d be the real test of whether de la fuente is any good or just relying on the talent of his players. he definitely didn’t impress me with his squad choice for the euros, miguel gutierrez and pedro porro not getting called up were certainly interesting choices. if you had to choose who would you have preferred to be spain’s manager, or is there someone that a lot of spaniards agree should’ve been the manager?
Really bad results or losing some of those connections. That's what needs to happen for him to be gone.
Thank you for mentioning Gutierrez because he's one of those no one mentions just because he played for Girona and not a top team. It's ridiculous not to have him on the squad, same for Porro.
Honestly, I have no clue who could be the manager. I like the idea of managers who are good for national teams and not clubs. Like they specialize more on that. So probably one of those. And I don't listen to what others say 😅 it makes me lose braincells. And in the Atletiverse, no one cares much because our players are always mistreated anyways.
