Hey guys! I've gone back to work! I have had a lot of anxiety about going back, about losing time with my family, about having someone to answer to again. So I've been trying to look on the bright side of things. It's a pretty physical job, something that is sure to work my complete body - I'm second in command in a kitchen making cannabis gummies. I'm stoked to have been able to find my way into the industry, seeing how much it helped me when we didn't know what was going on (and now, as a hobby 🥰) It is quite a physically demanding job, though. More than phlebotomy, before I got sick. My spouse actually suggested I eat more protein because of the amount of lifting, pushing, and pulling I'm doing. I'm feeling my body come alive in ways I haven't felt in years.
Anywho, I've been sticking to cardio every other day or so this week, letting my job just do its thing to my body, and my heart rate felt phenomenal this evening. I didn't do my aerobics video, but I did do the aerobics routine and then some to a cardio playlist, and definitely shook my hips with Shakira 😁 I am learning to enjoy my journey back to fitness. The journey is everything. There is no destination.

Brands that are NOT testing their products on animals.
It is important to know which companies are cruelty- free and to buy their products. We are living in world where money rules and till now it was not easy to find eco options that will not cost us a small fortune. Even few years ago choice of those products was poor and quality was not measured by their price tag. I am so happy that now going to store I can actually buy cruelty- free products without sacrificing half of my paycheck.
Below is the list of the companies which are offering products that we all want to use.

ProducedbyTyler drops his latest collab album "The Way I Dreamed It, Vol. 2"
We are in the era of the producer. From Metro Boomin to Murder Beatz and so many more, this is the time where a good portion of the limelight is now going to the people behind the switches and keys. Arizona Hip Hop has their own base of producers and DJs that craft some amazing music for talented artists in Arizona and all over the world to utilize as the foundation of their songs. One of these talented Arizona producers recently released an album that caught our attention. The Way I Dreamed It, Vol. 2 from ProducedbyTyler was recorded and produced at Sunset Studios in Mesa, Arizona. This 11-track album flows from beginning to end and acts as a calling card for ProducedByTyler as producer and engineer while signaling that he’s one of the more unique and talented producers in Arizona.
The album kicks off with “Shakira Wine” which plays like a dancehall jam and that tone informs the rest of the album. This song could easily fit into a weekend playlist next to Sean Paul or Vybz Kartel tracks. The vocal talents of Blk9 really shine through and the hook is very catchy. These talents also act as a bridge between the first two songs as Blk9 joins FRESCOTOLDYA for “Friday Night Party”. This also keeps the same vibe from the previous track while offering up a feel good track that could act as a soundtrack to carefree nights. That carefree feeling gets turned into a slow jam with the next song “Zone”. The music slows down and the smooth vocals signify this is time to address adult topics. The bars from D-Beezy Baby ride the beat with an up and down cadence that matches the content of the song while Kiid Tru sets the tone with a deep chorus and Dre Smuzic goes all in with some impactful notes and lyrical construction that really highlights his range.
The fourth song on the album is “777” which features E batt, strips away a lot from the music which allows the exhibition of lyrics and delivery stand out. While it’s a shorter song, it’s begs for a replay as the simplicity of the music and the passion of the lyrics balance out and leave you wanting more. MeechieGotBarz brings some hype with his delivery on the next track “Gary Payton” which sees the music take the low key approach like the previous track and gives this ode to cannabis a subtle way to turn up the intensity of the album. This song is easily a standout on the album and could be a fan favorite as more and more people listen.
Album Artwork by Andres
Blk9 is back to deliver and does it big with the next track “Slide”. The song plays contextually with the previous one but also hits on sonically established elements from earlier in the album. Having Blk9 featured on two tracks earlier on the album, which are decidedly different in content than this one, really shows the thought that went into making this album have a seamless flow while not being one dimensional. Another standout track is up next with “Randeveu” which Teek Hall, FRESCOTOLDYA, and Earth Yarb jump on and do it big. Teek uses his distinct voice to set the tone while the effervescent flows of FRESCOTOLDYA permeate the middle of the track and Earth Yarb serenades you on the way out. Blk9 and Kyle James linkup on the next track “What You Deserve”, a middle finger to someone that puts themselves on a pedestal. The bars are honest and offered up with an old school inspired delivery which fits the beat well as it doesn’t over complicate things, and for a track about such a real and universally applicable situation, it does wonders for the consumption of the content of the song.
D-Beezy Baby brings heat on the 9th track “Heavenly” which he uses to put racism and bigotry on blast. The power of his voice is enhanced by the atmospheric music ProducedByTyler created and it works the other way around as well. This track is powerful and emphatic and deserves a listen for more than a few reasons. Kyu the Legend, the Real Messori & King Life the Goat come together for the more unorthodox song on the album. Celebrating the lavish things in life while doing in on their own terms is the message. This message is delivered not just in the lyrics but the instrumental is so unique itself that it helps catapult that message further. The final track from ProducedByTyler is another stand out as it gives the synth laced music time to resonate before Blk9, Kyu the Legend, Earth Yarb & Kyle James collab to close out this amazing exhibition in showcasing your sound as a producer.
From love to lust and the parties and vibes that flow between the two, ProducedByTyler does a tremendous job of setting the tone of his album and doesn’t crowd the track list with songs or sounds that don’t flow with the established motifs and themes of the album. If you want a mixtape style project where the songs feel like a mashup of sounds that feel like singles thrown together to make an “album” then you should try something else. If you want a real album, something that has cohesion and fluidity, something that allows you truly get lost in the sound, this is the album for you.

Mejor déjalos hacer lo que quieran. Porque ellos, si los dejas, robarán tu corazón. Ver Fuente Ver Fuente

Mother shrinks tumours using cannabis and Manuka honey
A-mother-of-three who was given weeks to live after she shunned chemotherapy has baffled doctors by treating her cancer with illegal super strength cannabis and Manuka honey.
Susan Dhillon, 51, from Slough, Berkshire, was diagnosed with inoperable stage four cancer of the mouth, nose and lower skull in June 2018.
Doctors said unless she had chemotherapy and risky facial surgery her only option was end of life care.
Susan Dhillon, 51, from Slough, Berkshire, was given weeks to live after she shunned chemotherapy. But she has been treating her cancer with illegal super strength cannabis and Manuka honey
But despite the tumours growing at a rate of 5 per cent a month, Mrs Dhillon chose not to have the treatment.
The former NHS prescription administrator started taking a near-pure form of illegal cannabis tablets by using cannabis plants and oil to make the tablets.
Mrs Dhillon, a grandmother-of-one, then buys the drug from a friend at a cost of around £16 a day.
It has an 80 per cent cannabinoid strength – 78.8 per cent over the legal treatments – and contains THC, the principal psychoactive constituent of the drug.
The mother of four and grandmother of one uses a cannabinoid with 80 per cent strength. Her cancer has stopped growing or shrunk, but she is not in remission yet
And after five months of taking a tablet a day, doctors were surprised to find some of the tumours had disappeared and others had stopped growing or shrunk.
A letter from her consultant confirms the regression and said: ‘I can only conclude that Mrs Dhillon appears to have gained significant benefit from the Manuka honey and Cannabis oil treatment’.
Nine months since her diagnosis, a scan carried out last month showed ‘encouraging’ results – her disease was found to be ‘completely stable’ with no sign of progression.
What research has gone into the link between cannabis and cancer?
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabidiol and cannabidiol have been looked into to see if they could have any role in cancer treatment
Most scientific research has been done in a laboratory
But they found cannabinoids can:
Cause a cell to die
Stop cells from dividing
Stop cells from developing new blood vessels
But they have also found that cannabinoids can:
Damage important blood vessels in some situations
Encourage cancer cells to grow
Source: Macmillan cancer support
Mrs Dhillon is hoping she will enter remission and is still taking a cannabis tablet every day.
She said: ‘It’s an absolute miracle.
‘I was told I could die in weeks or months. They told me it was inoperable.
‘Any hope I had just vanished when they said I didn’t have long.
‘I was basically told there’s nothing they can do.
‘I didn’t want chemotherapy because the side effects are awful. It just wasn’t the right thing for me to do.
‘All I wanted to do was achieve life. I wanted to live for as long as I could.
‘When I got these results I felt like I had been handed a lifeline. It felt like someone had given me a second chance at life.
‘I was over the moon. It was the best news I could possibly have been told. I didn’t think I’d see my next birthday.
She claimed: ‘The cannabis is keeping the cancer at bay.’
Mrs Dhillon went to the doctors after food started to come out of her nose while she was eating and she noticed she had holes in her mouth in May last year.
She was fast-tracked to see specialists at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough, for an urgent cancer referral and given an MRI scan and a biopsy.
Two weeks later, in June, she was told she had stage four advanced sinonasal carcinoma involving the skull – a rare cancer of the nasal cavity.
After five months of taking a cannabis tablet a day, doctors found some of Mrs Dhillon’s tumours had disappeared and others had stopped growing or shrunk
Mrs Dhillon said: ‘I went through a really sad time with my family.
‘I didn’t know what to do with myself and spent a lot of the time being very upset. I went through a time of crying whenever I was awake.’
Letters between experts describe her case as ‘very difficult’ and the tumours as ‘extensive’.
In the letters, they said her treatment options were either chemotherapy followed by very risky surgery, or palliative radiotherapy.
The letter, from July, said the surgery was associated with ‘significant morbidity’ and if she chose radiotherapy ‘ultimately the cancer will continue to grow and will not be cured’.
‘I felt like there was no hope for me,’ said Sue, who is single.
‘I didn’t want chemotherapy. It’s not natural and I don’t believe in it.
‘It wasn’t right for me. I didn’t want to have to deal with those side effects.
‘If l only had a few weeks left then I wanted to stay healthy and happy, so I looked for another option on my own.
‘I took to the internet to look for an alternative treatment.
‘I wasn’t going to just settle for it.
‘I saw a lot of people talking on forums about cannabis oil and how it was helping them.
‘I was willing to try anything. I didn’t know what else I could do.’
Former NHS prescription administrator holds the cannabis oil that she takes in pill form that she gets from a friend
Mrs Dhillon has three children, Dyl Find, 28, Satnam Dhillon, 25, Monica Dhillon, 22 and one granddaughter, Shakira Thind, aged four.
She found out about a type of cannabis oil called Rick Simpson oil, and then discovered an old school friend, who has MS, was making her own tablets from the substance.
Rick Simpson oil is different from the CBD oil – which is available on the NHS in cases of ‘exceptional clinical need’ – because it is much more potent.
It contains psychoactive substance THC, which is the part of the drug that makes people feel ‘high’.
The oil isn’t available on the NHS and is illegal in the UK, and the version Mrs Dhillon uses contains around 80% THC, she said.
She took her first 1mg tablet in July, shortly after scan results showed the tumours in her mouth and throat were growing at 5 per cent a month, she claims.
She said: ‘They make me feel very sleepy and very hungry but all three of my kids look after me.
‘I don’t feel the pain anymore either and I did have pain before. I used to get headaches a lot and I was very sore.
‘I pick up a new lot every month from my friend. I was scared and didn’t know what else I could do.’
After five months of daily doses, she went back to hospital in December for a scan to see if her tumours had grown.
Her consultant was stunned to find ‘no obvious sign’ of a tumour in her mouth or nasal cavity – despite being diagnosed with advanced tumours in both areas six months earlier.
The consultant was ‘pleasantly surprised’ to see the cancer had regressed, and told Mrs Dhillon he was happy for her to continue taking the illegal cannabis oil drug.
In a letter to her, dated February 7, 2019, he said: ‘When I first saw Mrs Dhillon in June 2018, the sinonasal cancer appeared to be very aggressive.
‘When I reviewed Mrs Dhillon on January 17 I was pleasantly surprised to see regression of the cancer in the oral cavity with no evidence of any obvious tumour in the palate.
‘There is no evidence of any active cancer in the nasal cavity.
‘A CT scan in December 2018 has also confirmed stable disease with no evidence of any progression.
‘Although I am unable to explain the possible healing properties of the treatment, I can only conclude that Mrs Dhillon appears to have gained significant benefits from the Manuka honey and cannabis oil treatment.
‘I have no objection to her continuing with the cannabis oil treatment.’
Mrs Dhillon received the positive scan results a few days before Christmas and three weeks before her 51st birthday in January.
For her and her family, the news was ‘the best Christmas present ever’.
Mrs Dhillon’s cancer is ‘completely stable’ and she hopes she will enter remission before too long
She said: ‘I got the results just before Christmas Eve. It showed it hadn’t progressed anymore.
‘I can’t tell you how happy I was. In June I didn’t think I’d be still here.
‘I didn’t know if I’d see another Christmas. It was like I was given a lifeline.
‘I was over the moon. I was so relieved about how things had turned out.
‘It’s a miracle medication.’
She claimed: ‘My doctor said he was happy for me to take something that’s illegal.’
Her prolonged survival also gave her the chance to enjoy Mother’s Day with her loved ones.
She said: ‘I was able to enjoy an absolutely lovely Mother’s Day. All my kids came round and my granddaughter made me a card.
‘They gave me flowers and roses and it was lovely.
‘I have been able to spend more time with my daughter. She is my baby and is really important to me.
‘I love my family and family time is really important to me. I want to be able to spend as much time as possible with them.’
Mrs Dhillon has also separately been prescribed Sativex – the first cannabis-based medicine to be licensed in the UK that has only been available since December 1 last year.
She claimed she was the first cancer patient in the UK to be prescribed the drug on the NHS, and started taking earlier this month.
Sativex is prepared from cannabis plants and contains THC and CBD in equal proportions.
Mrs Dhillon’s recent scan results showed her cancer is being kept at bay – but she faces a longer wait to find out if her cancer will regress any further or totally disappeared.
‘If it doesn’t grow any more then I will be able to live with it,’ she said.
‘I’ve just got to hope it continues to keep it at bay.’
She said before taking her tablets she had ‘never taken’ drugs before.
‘It has given me a reason to live again. It has had such a positive impact on my life.
‘I am hopeful for the future now. I am 99 per cent sure the next scan will show no further progression.’
While Ms Dhillon may be convinced of the powers of her cannabis tablets, there isn’t any conclusive proof that CBD oil can help those suffering with cancer.
Dr Tom Freeman, who led a review on the use of CBD in cancer patients at the University of Bath and University College London, wants more tests.
He told the Mirror: ‘Products available on the high street don’t meet standards for medicinal products. Quality is not assured.
‘There’s no data to support their safety.
‘They haven’t been tested and so aren’t suitable. There’s a big risk of self-medication for a product that won’t be effective.’

Bajan Newscap 1/3/2016
Good Morning #realdreamchasers! By now the holiday celebrations have subsided and today is the first official working day of the New Year. Remember the early bird catches the worm. Here is your daily newscap. Remember you can read full articles via Barbados Today (BT) or by purchasing a Daily Nation Newspaper (DN).
MEET THE PRESS - BARBADOS’ CENTRAL BANK Governor has been told it’s time to hold a real press conference. As the bank’s team led by Governor Dr DeLisle Worrell prepares to present Barbados’ economic report card for 2016, a former top Barbadian banker and minister in the Ministry of Finance in Trinidad and Tobago, Mariano Browne, (below) has slammed Worrell for not opening himself to questioning from members of the media for more than two years. The Central Bank boss has not held a press conference since the first quarter of 2014, choosing instead to hand-pick people to engage in Central Bank-created events for television and press statements. Browne, a former chief executive officer of Butterfield Bank, told the DAILY NATION: “It is highly unusual for a central bank in such difficult economic times, responsible as it is and having inputs into both monetary and fiscal policies, not to explain [the] positions and the policy measures that are being adopted under his watch. (DN)
OUTRAGE OVER KELLMAN’S FB POST - Housing Minister Denis Kellman has been getting a lot of backlash over what some are calling an “insensitive” comment he posted on the social media site Facebook on New Year’s Day. Commenting on the issue of the country’s crumbling road infrastructure, Kellman posted the following: “Can Potholes save lives?” Outraged over the post, several individuals wasted no time in chastising the minister. Others have expressed shock and disappointment. “All over the world people have appreciated the usage of social media for economic development but in Barbados the Davids see it as a crime” This is not the first time the minister has been in hot water over posting on his social media account. He recently faced a backlash over a video he posted without having a shirt on. (BT)
50% INCREASE FROM SUGAR HARVEST - The 2017 harvest looks set to be the start of a sweet new chapter in the life of sugar cultivation in Barbados. And while the numbers remain small compared with those of 30 years ago, industry officials are bullish about an expected near 50 per cent increase in output, with even larger gains projected for 2018 based on new fields under cultivation that will provide their first crop next year and more determined efforts generally by private farmers. But Patrick Bethell, chairman of Barbados Sugar Industries Limited, the grouping of private farmers responsible for less than half the lands under sugar cultivation, but more than 60 per cent of the production, wants Government to get its act together so the industry can soar. While Barbados produced just under 8 000 tonnes of sugar last year, it is projected that when the harvest gets going in another two months or so, production could finish as high as 12 000 tonnes, and most of it should come from private farms. (DN)
BUS FIX UP - With just four regular work days left before schools reopen, transport authorities are literally resurrecting buses to avoid the chaos that occurred daily in terminals as the last academic term drew to a close. Minister of Transport and Works Michael Lashley said 25 buses had been retrieved from a “graveyard” at its Mangrove, St Philip facility, engines, transmissions and other critical parts sourced locally and overseas, and in short measure, they expected to have them back on the road. This week, he added, the board and ministry were hoping to engage the top brass at United Commercial Autoworks Limited (UCAL), Quality Care Vehicle Maintenance (QCVM) and Trans-Tech Inc, all private companies that repair buses for the board, to arrange a payment “scheme that is palatable to both sides” that would allow them to step up production. (DN)
STEADY WATER - Residents of many of the areas hit by water outages around Christmas 2015 are smiling because they have had running water over the last few weeks. From St Lucy and St Peter in the north to St Joseph in the east, they shared happy and optimistic stories, but some are being proactive and have invested in water tanks and continue to store water just in case it goes off again. Cheryl Goodridge, of Sugar Hill, St Joseph, said she had water for the Christmas period and was happy, but was being cautious and invested in two water tanks. One with an 800-gallon capacity was already at her home, while the other was on its way. “I am not making that kind of sport; I ain’t lifting ’bout no water no more,” she said. (DN)
DUMPING CAUSING STINK IN BRIAR HALL - The two women at the centre of a neighbourhood garbage dispute are proclaiming their innocence. Stephanie Clarke (below) and her daughter Sabrina Hannaway, both of Kendal Hill, Briar Hall, Christ Church, have been accused by neighbours of dumping their garbage on the property of a nearby resident. On the last day of 2016, Aurora Mayers posted a video on Facebook showing Clarke removing garbage from the trunk of her car and throwing it over a wire fence surrounding the property that she rents. According to a frustrated Mayers, it was the latest act of skullduggery by Clarke and her daughter, whom she has accused of dumping garbage on her property for the past year. (DN)
ROADBLOCK AT HERON BAY - A Barrier across the road at Heron Bay in Porters, St James, has evoked the ire of some visitors who claim it is denying them access to the beach. Prince Nicholas Galitzine and his wife Angela Galitzine said they were concerned about the large, manned barrier across the road. “Since when was it not a public road?” they questioned. Galitzine, who has been visiting Barbados regularly from Guernsey, an island off the United Kingdom, since 1976, called for something to be done and questioned if the action was legal. (DN)
MISSING ZR DRIVER - Even though ZR 368 is back on the road, it does not mean that William Darlington, who used to operate it, is back home. Police public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler, said police were still searching for him. “We have not located him as yet, so he is still on our missing list,” Cobbler said. Darlington’s wife Angela said she had not seen or heard from him since he left home last Tuesday morning. She added that one of his co-workers was the last person who saw him when he went to drop off the van to get washed. (DN)
MISSING TEEN PUZZLE - Mystery surrounds the disappearance of Barry Webster, of Happy Cot Land, Mansion Road, Bank Hall, St Michael, who went missing for more than a week and was only traced yesterday. The 19-year-old came to national attention in mid-March last year when, he managed to free himself and his older brother Bentley Jr from the chains that kept the two of them shackled in the family home when their father Bentley Sr was away. There were also allegations of years of abuse of the two boys and their mother, Margaret. Barry had called out to neighbours for help and was taken to the nearby District “A” Police Station with his ankles still in shackles. When police responded, they found his older brother locked in a bedroom. (DN)
TWO MISSING PEOPLE FOUND - Police say two people — including a teenager and an elderly man — who were recently reported missing last month, have been found and are safe. They are 77-year-old John Emmerson Yarde of Eastbourne, St Philip, who was reported missing on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, and 15-year-old Kevisha Shakira Scott of Wilson Hill, St John, who had apparently disappeared on Wednesday, December 14th. “The administration of the Royal Barbados Police Force thanks the public and the media for [their] assistance in this matter and looks forward to your continued cooperation in the future,” said police Public Relations Officer Inspector Roland Cobbler in a brief statement this evening in which he confirmed that they were both safe. No other details were provided. (BT)
CHRIST CHURCH MAN CAUGHT WITH DRUGS - Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged 52-year-old Austin Leroy Small with a number of drug-related offences. The Christ Church resident has been charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, trafficking cannabis and importation of cannabis. On December 29, police conducted an operation at the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex where Small was seen aboard a fishing vessel. The vessel was searched and seven packages containing 152kg of cannabis were found in an icebox. Lawmen said the drugs had a street value of $608,000. Small, who resides at Lot 37, Apt #2, 3rd Ave, Eudalrick Drive, Chancery Lane North in Christ Church, is expected to appear before the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court tomorrow. (BT)
JAMAICAN 6 YEAR OLD SHOT IN SLEEP - The police say a six-year-old girl is now in stable condition in hospital, after she was shot when a bullet entered her home in St Andrew, while she slept. The child was reportedly shot in the head. Reports from the police are that the child’s mother was awakened by her child screaming at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday. She then discovered that the little girl had been shot. The police say the bullet penetrated the zinc roof of their home, injuring the sleeping child. Investigations are ongoing, the police say. (BT)
BRAZIL PRISON RIOT - A riot in an overcrowded prison in northern Brazil has left at least 60 inmates dead, many of them decapitated, officials say. The unrest in Manaus, in Amazonas state, started on Sunday after a fight between rival gangs, police said. The violence ended 17 hours later, when the inmates surrendered their weapons and freed unharmed the last of 12 guards they had taken hostage. Brazil has the world's fourth-largest prison population. There are some 600,000 inmates in the country, and overcrowding is a serious problem. Reports said the capacity of the Anisio Jobim Penitentiary Centre, the biggest in Amazonas, was for 454 inmates, but it had 1,224 men. When the riot began, six headless bodies were thrown over the perimeter fence of the prison. (BT)
NEW UN GENERAL SECRETARY - Portuguese diplomat António Guterres took over as the United Nations’ new secretary-general Sunday and issued an appeal for peace. Guterres, 67, succeeds Ban Ki-moon, who was the U.N. chief for 10 years. Prior to Guterres’ election the General Assembly, the U.N. considered giving its top job to a woman for the first time. Guterres, a former prime minister of Portugal, has said “gender parity” is key for the organization to thrive. In mid-December, Guterres announced he will appoint Nigeria’s environment minister, Amina Mohammed, as his deputy. He also said he would appoint Brazil’s Maria Luiza Ribeiro Viotti as his chief of staff. A senior policy adviser role will be given to Kyung-wha Kang of South Korea. In 2016, 33 of the U.N.’s 46 senior roles were held by men, according to the Global Peace Operations Review, an online resource covering peacekeeping and political missions. (BT)
HAREWOOD JOINING WALES - Barbados’ most glamorous football club, Weymouth Wales, have secured the services of one of the country’s most gifted players in Romario ‘Pete’ Harewood for the 2017 Barbados Football Association’s Premier League season. A busy transfer window last month saw a record 175 players and officials switching clubs ahead of Sunday’s start to the season at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex. National player Harewood, who has completed his stint in the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP), will be joined at Weymouth by his Barbados teammates in prolific goal-scorer Arantees Lawrence, who is on loan from the demoted Pinelands. Defender Rico Graham, who comes over from Premier League champions, UWI Blackbirds, and his former BDFSP teammate Stefan Cumberbatch have also teamed up with the reigning Knockout Cup kings. (DN)
