Established/Older Double Byler where Nancy & Mike are fully comfortable calling Joyce "mom". While Jonathan & Will still use Mrs.Wheeler for Karen.

a dismissive wave from her hand at the mention of sake , if it was his intention to get her drunk , he knows that he'll need a STRONGER beverage than that ; but , getting drunk wasn't fun . . . it drains the excitement of the chase , the unspoken game between them . . . remaining sober meant that they could challenge each other , dance around each other , it's always like a game of CHESS ; to see if they'd reach a stalemate or perhaps , manage to capture the other -- though , ada liked to just surrender at the end of the night . . . she likes to see that joongi thinks he's victorious in his conquest . they both get something out of these interactions so ada cared LITTLE as to who surrenders and when . . . it's just a game , she reminds herself . brows raising when he takes her hand into his own , soft lips meeting the back of her hand , ❝ well , then i suppose that depends on how well i'm ENTERTAINED tonight , ❞ she teases , a smile tugging on red lips as her eyes searches his gaze . perhaps she'll indulge him tonight , it has been a long time since they've met ; who's to say she can't remain and catch up with an ❛ old friend ❜ ?? she lets joongi keep her hand , not yet retracting it . . . his hand felt softer than most that she's held shook , but then again , his palm is the only one she's had the TIME to explore in such a way . . . most times , she's more enthralled in matters of fighting for her own life , holding her enemy's hands just isn't in her agenda . ❝ a proper welcome , you say ?? ❞ she muses , she did leave rather abruptly last time . . . though , she didn't feel as if a GOODBYE was necessary ; she wouldn't claim they were so close to require this sort of farewell between them . yet , she supposes she could have had the COURTESY to bid the man farewell ; after all , this man was someone she could say she had something of a ❛ relationship ❜ with . a soft hum leaving her lips , thumb smoothing over the back of the man's hand , ❝ you have me intrigued them . . . on what you could have possibly planned for me tonight . ❞ a silent insinuation that she'll stay for the night , and for the morning if he manages to keep her intrigue piqued .
a soft hum in reply to the suggestion , she’ll leave it to him … after all , this is his territory ; it’s an almost submissive act to let the other take control of the situation , as if to make herself look demure in his eyes – though unnecessary , he’s well-acquainted with her true nature . a tilt of her head before her body moves to mirror that of joongi’s posture – head resting upon her palm – as her eyes sought the other’s visage for any sort of tells for his thoughts , “ i do believe a drink is in order , for the reunion . i believe this is worth celebrating , ” ada says , tone light and jovial , a joking edge taking to her voice . she doesn’t mind . she can handle her alcohol quite well … she has too . it’s a part of her job . “ what do you suggest ?? sake ?? or perhaps , a beer ?? ” she asks , trying to ascertain his tastes in the beverages . she’s not picky to what she drinks , then again … ada is NEVER picky . she adapted what she liked and disliked to her targets … that’s how she gets close , gains their trust . she wanted their interests to match just enough to intrigue her targets . and while JOONGI isn’t one of her targets – not anymore , that is – she can say that ’ old habits die hard ’ .
