Hold Her
Tumblr media
Summary: Soft Alcina content yes pls
Characters: Alcina Dimitrescu x gn!reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Warnings: fluff, cuddlez :)
“Bloody fools!”
A loud crash and the shattering of glass had you look up from your book. It had just started to get interesting in your novel, but you felt that the thundering footsteps pacing somewhere in the house needed your urgent attention first. You made a mental note to go down to the village tomorrow and get a handy man to repair whatever your lover had no doubt destroyed.
The clock chimed, indicating the late evening hour. You shuffled off the bed and wrapped a robe around you to help against the evening chill.
Making your way down the corridor, you came upon Alcina pacing in the main hall, roaring with incoherent sentences of fury. A poor maid was trembling in her shoes, holding up a silver platter that held a wine glass, empty and cracked. A wine bottle had been smashed against the wall, leaving a deep stain dripping down towards the floor.
“How hard is it to do as I ask? Where on this forsaken earth can I find any proper help these days? Do you have any idea how difficult it is to run this all by myself?”
“N-no, my lady-” the poor girl stammered, unsure if the questions were directed at her.
“Shut it, cretin,” Alcina snapped. Her claws were swiping through the air, snarling at her own thoughts. The girl shut her mouth so tightly you wondered if she could ever open it again.
Taking pity on the girl, you hurried down the stairs and took the platter from her. She was startled at your approach, practically jumping out of her skin as you laid a hand on her shoulder.
“Go on, dear,” you muttered. “Go to bed. Next time, fetch me instead of waiting. It might be you instead of a wine bottle if you don’t.”
It wasn’t meant as a threat, but more a fact. Alcina’s temper held no remorse when she truly became angry.
The phone on the coffee table was hanging off the hook, swinging lazily on the cord. You assumed her regular call with Mother Miranda had not gone to plan.
“You shouldn’t yell so much at our staff,” you set the platter down on the table and pushed some of the bottle shards into a corner with your foot so no one would lose any toes until it was cleared away
Alcina’s whole form was quivering with tension. The discussions about staff and Mother Miranda’s demands were taking a toll on the matriarch. From what you could gather, Miranda needed more experiments to be fulfilled, but Alcina couldn’t afford to lose any more working hands from the castle or potential workers from the village, otherwise wine production would take a serious beating. There was only so much Alcina, you, and her daughters could do on your own.
“Then find me competent staff who have an actual thread of intelligence,” Alcina replied haughtily.
“You handpick them yourself, Alci,” you said softly. “I’m not involved in the hiring process.” Alcina sat down on one of the sofas, its wooden legs threatening to buckle and break from her enormous size. You walked over to her and gently patted her knee.
“Come to bed. You’ve done far too much today.”
“Not enough,” she hissed through gritted teeth. “Miranda needs more experiments, yet I need more staff, but if I take anymore maids from the village they will get angry. We’ve practically sucked them dry.”
“Then let Karl take them instead. Get their focus away from the castle.”
Alcina huffed, “You think Heisenberg gave Miranda’s demand even a second thought? No one else would do as she asked, which is why she’s resorted to taking more of my people.”
Her people. You smiled a little. Despite her murderous intent and bloodlust, what entered her castle became hers, and she would defend it without hesitation. It might be a tad possessive and seem a bit backwards, but it meant your staff were safe from lycans and other dangers on the ground, and the lives killed for wine production and Alcina’s survival were used in every possible way before laid to rest in the cemetery.
Perhaps that was your lover’s way of making it up to the lives she takes away, and from the guilt of living in a red-tinged cycle of murder.
“We need more people,” Alcina muttered into the hand covering her mouth while she stared into the fireplace with a pensive face. “Perhaps I should start accepting some of the male applicants-”
“You’re getting ahead of yourself,” you muttered, “how tired are you, my love?”
Her eyebrows raised in thought as she considered your question, eyes shifting from the fire to you.
“Exhausted.”
“The worries can wait until the morning, can’t they?”
Her hand lowered to yours that was still resting atop of her knee and circled your wrist with her large fingers, feeling the thrum of your heartbeat against the pad of her thumb.
“Alcina,” you placed your other hand on top of hers. “You need to sleep. Mutated immortal or not, you need rest just like all of us.”
“But the villagers-”
“If I hear one more word about Miranda or the damned shortage of staff tonight, I will hike in the dark immediately and spend the rest of the week with Heisenberg,” you retorted sharply. “And don’t think I won’t. He makes excellent steak whenever I visit.”
Alcina bristled in jealousy at the praise you gave Karl, but relented and clamped her mouth shut.
“Good,” you smiled. You took the opportunity to clamber up onto her lap, cupping her neck in your hands and angling her face down to look you in the eyes.
“Forget about it all,” you whispered. “Just for a moment, hm?”
You tugged her further down, until her head rested heavily on your shoulder. Her large hands wrapped around your form as a shuddering breath left her body. You could feel the tense shoulder muscles relax slightly and her weight pressed down on you. It took a bit of effort to hold her up like this, but you wanted her to be as cradled as you could manage.
In moments like this, it took some coaxing from you, but eventually Alcina would relent and let down her walls. Her gaze would soften and her frown would subside, and then you could caress and coo at her until she fell asleep. Alcina was at her most vulnerable at the darkest moments in the night, alone with you and away from the rest of the world.
When your arms and back began to strain from holding her up, you patted Alcina on the shoulder and suggested you both go to bed. She nodded meekly, eyes following you like a lost puppy. A rather large and menacing-looking puppy, but a puppy nonetheless.
Once in bed, you hoisted yourself as far up on the pillows as possible and held your arms out for the giantess. She gave a quirk of a smile before crawling on the bed, under the covers, until her head pressed against your torso and you could feel her wisps of raven hairs tickle your nose.
The side of her face pressed into your chest, sending hot breaths along your side. The closeness of her like this filled you with warmth, and your body felt weighed down and protected as she laid on you. One of her large hands reached up and trailed fingers down your side, absent-mindedly.
Her breathing began to grow deeper and slower as you played with her hair, tracing the curve of her ear down to her neck from what you could feel as you looked up at the ceiling.
Just before you drifted as well, Alcina grasped one of your hands, kissed longingly on your palm and then tucked both your hand and hers under her cheek where she held it for the rest of the night.
A/N: I almost named this “Hold Her, Damn it!!” bc Alcina deserves to be held and cuddled just as much as all of us! Show the murderess some cozy love
btw Babysitter pt 12 coming soon ;)

Idk if this is how you request things or if it's just asking, BUT-
How would the Lords react to an S/O that's usually the chillest person that you will ever meet (not to be confused with a pushover because they are not), they've never seen them even mildly annoyed when something bad happens. But then something happens and, turns out, the S/O is utterly TERRIFYING when they're mad.
Hope this makes sense!
Aw man I'm gonna feel awful scaring Moreau and Donna :(
Alcina
You're relaxing on a beautiful morning. The sun is shining through the window just enough to warm the room but not hurt your eyes. You hadn't even changed out of your sleep wear. "How are you feeling, my dear?", a sweet voice rang from the doorway. You were sitting in your favorite chair near the window. You turn and smile at her. She walks over and rubs your face in her large hand before leaning down and giving you a soft kiss. "I'm feeling amazing. And you?", you grab her hand before she pulls it away and you place a kiss on her knuckles. "I'm feeling alright. There's a new maid here. She's a bit slow. I'm giving her until tonight to finish dusting the entire castle or else she won't see another sunrise." It was almost comedic how dark her words were as you both stared out the window and gazed at the beautiful scenery. "Come on Alcina.", you stand up and place your hands on hers, trying to hold them despite the size difference. "Give the girl a break. It's a huge castle AND it's her first day.", you knew your words would probably change nothing. Alcina was rather cruel, but you looked past it. You tried your best to make the nervous maids comfortable whenever they arrive.
"We'll see how she does." She gives you one more kiss before leaving the room. You sit back down in your chair, enjoying the warmth of the sun for a little while longer. You lose track of time, minutes maybe even hours go by. Suddenly, there's a crash not far from the door. You jump and stand up, no longer comfortable after being startled. "What in the name of Mother Miranda?!", you leave the room and look down the hallway. The new maid stood there with a terrified look on her face. In front of her was one of the paintings Alcina had on her walls, now with a broken frame and a hole punctured. Your blood began to boil. It was a painting of you, her, and the girls all together. It was your favorite. "How in the hell did you manage to do that?!", you begin to stomp towards her. She cowers and struggles to find her words. "I-I-I was just dusting! It fell and I-I didn't mean t-", you cut her off. "How the fuck did you knock such a large painting over just by dusting?! DO YOU THINK YOU'RE ALLOWED TO MAKE SUCH STUPID MISTAKES HERE?!", you unravel. "I-I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!", she almost begins to weep. "SORRY ISN'T GONNA SAVE YOUR ASS!"
"MISS DIMITRESCU PLEASE HELP!", she cries out. You freeze, realizing that the lady herself is right behind you. You turn to face her. Her eyes are wide with shock. She has never seen you like this before and never even knew you had this type of side to you. She was impressed as much as she was terrified. "(Y/N)? Are you alright my love?" She had no idea what to do as your seething slowed down. "Why don't you go back to the room, yes? Settle down a little and deal with her later.", she places a hand on your back helps walk with you back to the room. Once you're there, she bends down to whisper in your ear. "I don't know where this side of you has been this whole time, but I am so amazed by you. And also a little frightened."
Donna
The Beneviento house was usually a calm place despite its creepy aura. You and Donna are both quiet and chill people. Never once have you fought or even raised your voices at each other. It was pleasant.
You had planned a nice dinner for the both of you. You wanted to try out a new recipe and surprise her, so you made your way to the kitchen to get started. "Okay, what first? I guess I'll need a pot.", you go rummaging through the kitchen and you find the pots stacked within each other inside one of the top cabinets. You groan and stand up on your toes, grazing the pots with your fingers. It didn't take much to cause them to tumble down, crashing on top of you with a loud sound that followed. "Aw shit.", you sighed and picked up the knocked over pots. A small but annoying pain began to throb in your head from where it made contact with a pot. What you didn't notice was you forgot to pick one of the pots up. It remained unnoticed. "It's fine.", you say to yourself as you maintain your composure. Next, a cutting board and knife. You turn around and begin to walk forward to find the cutting board, but you slam your toe into counter. You wince in pain and grab your foot. "SON OF A BITCH!", you yell.
You calm yourself, still wanting to have a pleasant meal with Donna. "Alright. Everything's fine." You step forward and kick the pot that you had forgotten to pick up. It caused your freshly kicked toe to ache even more. "OH COME ON! GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!", you scream and swear as you throw your arms up in pure rage and shock.
"...(Y/N)?", a gentle voice whispered from the doorway, causing you to whip your head in that direction. It was Donna. She looked absolutely horrified and almost looked like she could cry. "Is.. is everything... are you alright?", she worried. "Yes. I'm sorry. Just got a little pissed off.", you took a deep breath to calm yourself down, feeling bad for scaring the poor girl.
Moreau
You were sitting on the dock together, looking into the water as your feet swung back and forth above it. It was a sunny day and you two decided to spend it outside. Your hand slowly made its way over to his. His feet stopped swinging for a second as you entangled your fingers. "I don't know what I'd do without you, (Y/N)." his words were bitter sweet as a gentle smile formed from his lips. "Oh, Sal. You don't have to think like that. I'll always be here for you.", you kiss his cheek and continue to relax as you sway your legs.
"There it is! There's the beast!", a voice yelled from not so far away. You both look in the direction of the voice and see a few young village boys. Possibly between the ages of 13 and 16. Moreau had become some what of a scary story for the villagers. A tale that kids spread on school court yard and bring up during dares. But, you've never seen a kid brave enough to actually make it far enough into the reservoir to actually see Moreau. Now, there were about 3. All of them stood and pointed, shocked and terrified.
"Hey beast! Come get me!", one kid teases. You glare at the kids as a newfound rage begins to boil inside you. "Let's go back inside.", Moreau says before standing up from the doc. The sadness in his voice was heartbreaking. Suddenly, one of the children gathers the guts to pick up a rock and throw it as hard as he could. His aim was off, but not by much. It slammed into the wood near Moreau's feet, startling him. "Take that you devil!", he laughs. "THAT'S IT YOU LITTLE SHIT!", you begin sprinting in the direction of the immature brats. Two of them run from the direction they came from while the one who threw the rock was frozen in fear. You took the opportunity to grab him by the collar of his shirt. "Listen here you little waste of space. I'm gonna give you 3 seconds to turn around and run for your goddamn life. If you or any of your little snot-nosed friends come around here again, they'll be goddamn fish food. Do you understand?" The kid was too scared to speak and instead began to nod rapidly. You let him go and watched as he ran as fast as he could, screaming the whole way.
You walk back to the shack and find Moreau standing in the same place he was when you took off. His mouth was agape and he looked almost as scared as the kids. "You alright Sal? I made sure those little shits won't be coming around here anymore." "Yeah... I didn't know you could be so... scary", he says. "I'm sorry. But those kids were being cruel. I had to do something.", you say. "Well... it was awesome!", he smiled. "But also very scary!" You laugh which helps sooth him a little.
Heisenberg
"Screw driver.", is all Karl said with an outstretched palm. He was working on some type of mechanical heart for his experiments. He wanted you to lend a "helping hand" even though he could easily do it all by himself. He did this because he wanted to be around you, he was just too stubborn with too big of an ego to simply say it. So here you were, handing him every little tool he asks for.
"Do you want the big one or the little one?", you say with a hint of boredom in your tone. "Aw c'mon don't sound like that! Isn't this exciting? It's like you're working on it with me! Also, hand me the big one.", you do as he says and hand him the big screw driver. "I just don't get it. You literally have powers. You can easily do this by yourself and have been for so long. Why do you need me to help?" He pauses for a second and looks over towards you, his brow slightly furrowed. "I don't NEED you to help. I just thought it would be nice for you to help out. Plus, you're the one always bitching about me constantly working. Well, here you are! Helping me work! So, either suck it up or you can leave." His harshness had no real ill will in it. He was just confused and a bit too ignorant to consider his words. But, he was testing your patience. He continued to use the screwdriver until handing it to you without saying a word.
"Hand me a screw.", he demanded with his hand facing palm up again. "Which size?" "They're all the same sizes, dumbass." You feel your blood begin to boil. "They're different fucking sizes! This one is smaller than this one!", you hold up two screws that are obviously different sizes. This makes Karl angry. Not because you were right, but because you seemed upset over something that seemed so insignificant.
"If you came here just to yap in my ear, then I don't think I need your assistance.", he huffed. You put the selection of tools and supplies he was making you hold on the table he is working on and ball your fists. "You're the one who told me to do this in the first place!", you yell. "Yeah, because you won't stop bitching! Non-stop you're always compla-" you cut him off before he can finish. "SHUT UP!", you yell. The room goes silent. "YOU SAY I'M BITCHING? HAVE YOU HEARD YOURSELF? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST KARL YOU BITCH AND MOAN ALL THE TIME! I'M DONE TAKING SHIT FROM YOU!" He wanted to be angry, but he couldn't. He felt something much more overwhelming. Was he.. intimidated? He didn't move from his seat. All he could do was look up at you with a confused expression. What now? What is there to do? If he pushes you further, what would happen? He was actually too scared to find out.
You take a deep breath to calm down before speaking. "Now, if you want me to help with your shit, I'll stay as long as you keep your mouth shut. Can you possibly manage to do that?" He gulps nervously. "Yes ma'am."

Karl Heisenberg x reader
Word Count: 1.9k
Warnings: borderline nsfw like I thought real hard about it, weapons, talks of murder, slight spoilers for resident evil 8
Author’s Note: just impulsively wrote this and am posting it promptly after writing so it has not been edited. Besties im down bad about this sarcastic basterd (also if anyone wants a nsfw part 2...i am willing to provide) (or any other requests for him and Alcina, my favorite bi panic people rn)
Summary: You run into Ethan in Castle Dimitrescu on your way back to the factory.
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director
(not my gif)
Tumblr media
Ethan Winters genuinely just wanted his daughter back. He was so sick and tired of going through this village in an attempt to save her, running into every possible inconvenience he could find and knowing that he would probably lose fingers fighting them.
Castle Dimitrescu was vast and regal. He might have liked it if he wasn’t running for his and his daughters' lives from the four vampires that lived there.
He was crouched down, holding a gun up as he walked very quietly and carefully throughout the house so as to not alert any of the Dimitrescu daughters. He opened one of the unlocked doors carefully and immediately stopped moving at the sight of someone.
You wore no cloak, to signify that you were a daughter and you were much shorter than the lady of the house. You grabbed one of the lipsticks that Alicna had plenty of and leaned over the vanity to see how it looked on you.
Ethan stood up and held the gun up to your head. You raised an eyebrow, looking at him from the mirror reflection.
“Who are you?” he asked, voice rough. Rougher than his face looked. You put on the lipstick and then rubbed your lips together.
“Do you think this is my color?” He shoved the gun further into your head and you scoffed. “Fine fine. Not one for makeup eh?” You put your hands up and turned around. He let you sit down on the vanity but not without his gun still pointing at your skull. You seemed unphased which would have been weird if Ethan wasn’t incredibly desensitized to everything ever.
“Who are you? Are you one of the vampires? One of the other family members? Who are you?!” You put your hands slowly down on your lap. He let you, but you were testing his patience.
“Not quite.” You gestured to him. “I’m human. Like you. Well not like you, I’m completely human, no mutations or anything done.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he hissed. You waved him off.
“If you hurt me, you will have Karl on your head and I imagine it won’t be pretty. It’s the only way I can get from Castle to Castle unharmed,” you told him.
“Karl?”
“You know, fun hat, frizzy hair, has that big hammer thing. Karl.”
“Heisenberg?” You nodded.
“Yes Ethan, I thought you were smarter than this.” Ethan shook his head quickly and then regained focus, his hand holding the gun shaking a bit.
“Where’s Rose?” You shrugged.
“Fuck if I know Ethan Winters. I’m just the person who lives in a factory and becomes a nuisance for each and every Lord.” He jabbed the gun at your head and you didn’t even flinch.
“You’re lying.”
“Truthfully, I am not. If I knew where Rose was I would at least give you a hint, just to make it interesting.”
“What is Heisenberg to you?” he asked. You smiled a bit, crossing your legs.
“I’m Heisenberg's...girlfriend for lack of a better word. Whatever Mia was to you.” His mind flashed back to Mia. He had barely been able to mourn her. He shook the thought out of his head.
“You know how to get out of here and get Rose yes?”
“I know how to get out of here. How to get Rose, I have no idea. We’ve been over this.”
“But Heisenberg knows and if I can bring you to him, he can tell me.” You shook your head gently.
“Ethan sweetie...I could call for Alcina or the girls at any time and they would be in here in seconds to tear you to pieces.”
“Not before I could pull this trigger.”
“Again, if you so much as scratch me, you’ll never breath non metal infused air again.” Ethan shook his head gently and took a deep breath. He grabbed the gun at you again. He was silent and then he lowered it.
“I’ll just be going then,” he muttered, defeated. You nodded pleasantly and stood up from sitting on the vanity. You put the lipstick back on it. You walked forward and put your hand on Ethan’s shoulder. He looked you in the eyes.
“Good luck Ethan Winters.” You started to leave but turned to him. “I do suggest that in order to save your daughter you don’t kill Alicna’s in the process.”
“Any bits of advice then?” You put your hand on the doorknob and turned it, opening it just a tad.
“Grab the masks for the main room. Do you have a map?” He handed it to you, a tattered old piece of paper. You grabbed the lipstick again and marked some places. “Avoid hurting them as much as you can.”
“Why are you helping me?”
“I don’t like Mother Miranda. I don’t trust Mother Miranda. She is the one who has your daughter I’m sure or she must know where she is. But the Dimitrescus and Karl...even Donna for that matter, are people I like and trust.”
You stepped back outside the room.
“If I hear you’ve killed any of the daughters, I’ll tell them what I know of you. If you think the Dimitrescus are scary, just wait until you meet Donna.”
You shut the door in his face. Ethan shivered.
====
You walked up the stairs to the second floor. You knocked on the door of Alcinas room and she swang it open. She took a sigh of relief.
“Thank God. I thought you were Ethan Winters.”
“You think Ethan would knock before coming in?” She scoffed. You held her the lipstick you were wearing.
“Where did you find that?”
“Downstairs where I ran into Ethan,” you said honestly. Her eyes went wide and her lips pursed in annoyance.
“Did you see the girls?”
“No but I’m sure one of them ran into him as he left the room. He was only there a couple of minutes ago, it shouldn't be that hard to find him.” She walked past you without saying goodbye. You huffed. “You’re welcome!”
=====
You made it back to the factory in just a couple of minutes. You had gotten so used to the walk that you were on autopilot the whole time before you were back to your room. Karl was already there, clearly taking a quick break before returning to his never ending work day.
“Where did you go?!” he asked, walking up to you from the bathroom. He put his hand on your arm and you grabbed his glasses which were hanging from his shirt. He had shed the jacket and hat, clearly about to shower.
“Relax, I was just at Alcinas castle,” you told him gently. He let out an annoyed exaggerated sigh that you knew all too well.
“How is my sister?” he asked. You took the lipstick out of your pocket. Alcina hadn’t actually taken it in her fit of rage to go and get Ethan. Now you had something extra for your own personal vanity back at the factory.
“Shy of one more lipstick.” You walked past him into the bathroom. He followed you as you placed it carefully on your vanity. You admired it for a second with a smile on your face. You wrapped an arm around yourself and turned back to him. You hoisted yourself onto the bathroom counter. “I ran into Ethan Winters.”
His face, which had been admiring your new addition to the vanity which was full of stolen things and things he had acquired for you, turned sour. Karl put his hand on your arm and raised it, checking your side and arm for injuries.
“I told you not to leave the room until he was caught,” he grumbled. He was trying to act like he hadn’t been worried about you from the second he realized you were gone. He was trying to ignore the fact that he himself almost stomped to each of the Lord’s castles to make sure you were alright. He didn’t want you to run into Ethan Winters, that was his worst nightmare. Ethan didn’t have any regard for you. Ethan just wanted Rose. “Are you hurt?” You shook your head.
“No. He asked me if I knew where Rose was and held a gun to my head but in the end we parted ways peacefully.”
“You could have brought him back here,” he muttered.
“I told Alcina where he was. I figured she could take care of him. You already had your shot.” He rolled his eyes and his grip on your arm tightened.
“You could have been seriously hurt. The Lord’s won’t hurt you but Mother Miranda might, Ethan might have.” You brought your free hand up to his cheek and leaned forward so your lips were just barely brushing over his.
“I can take care of myself.” He pressed a harsh kiss against your lips and made a low groaning noise. He let go of your arm to grab your leg and part them so that he could stand between your thighs. He dipped his head to kiss you and you pressed your body against him, feeling every inch of his breathing.
There was a harsh rasp at the door and he pulled away. You grabbed his neck and shook his head, kissing his jaw and peppering kisses down his neck.
“Come on, Mother Miranda doesn’t need you that bad,” you whispered. You pressed a long kiss to his jaw again and he had to physically tear himself away, however much it pained him.
“She might,” he grumbled. You held him until he moved too far away for you to. You groaned and put your head against the wall beside the mirror.
“Maybe I should go and find Ethan Winters again to finish the job. I mean he may only have eight fingers but he’s stayed alive this long and-” He grabbed your arm that was waving around as you spoke and looked you dead in the eyes.
“I will finish the job. You just sit tight kitten.” You kissed his knuckles and then let him go.
“Better be quick Karl. I get very restless very easily.”
He put on his hat and coat (the opposite of either of you wanted in the moment) and slammed the door in frustration against Mother Miranda behind him.
You took a deep breath and hoped he wouldn’t be gone too long.

Reader Tries To Show Miranda That They Can Be Useful And Prove Alcina Wrong
you're dating miranda
and y'all are like madly in love
but she's always doting on lady dimitrescu
you hate alcina for always stealing away your love's attention
that's probably why you get along with heisenberg so well, your mutual hate for lady super sized bitch 🙄
and the thing is, you know alcina tries to get miranda's attention on purpose by being so wonderful with her experiments, always letting miranda in on her research, blah blah blah
at first, you thought it was admirable how into her work alcina was
but then you started to realise that it was because she was actually trying to get miranda for herself cause she wanted to be miranda's only favourite so she was trying to make miranda see just how useless to her [miranda] you were
you got upset and annoyed very quickly at that
just because you weren't some immortal being that miranda tasked with experimenting on willing or unwilling villagers, didn't mean that you were useless or anything
you wanted miranda to get eva back just as much as she wanted her daughter back so why not start your own experimenting??
so you had your own little lab hidden away from so miranda couldn't find it cause you wanted finding a way to bring eva back to be a surprise!
you've been doing experiements for a few months and they've gone well, for the most part....
one of your experiments didn't go exactly as planned and you unleashed some kind of creature into the village by accident
what are you going to do now??
but there's good news!
miranda's out of town for business for the rest of the week
so all you have to do is get the creature contained and figure out where you went wrong with it in the first place
that's easier said than done
but if you don't find that creature before miranda gets back, you're screwed
you've searched everywhere, but it's nowhere to be found
well, you didn't search everywhere
you tried your hardest to stay away from castle dimitrescu if you could help it
so you cursed to yourself when you saw the creature on dimitrescu's property
you let out a deep breath to compose yourself
all you needed to do was lure into the woods and then capture it
that should be easy, right??
nope. not at all.
cause as soon as you stepped foot on her property, lady dimitrescu was standing right in front of you
you frowned when she started questioning why you were on her property
and when you told her about the creature, she actually growled at you
you felt your heart break a bit when you heard her mutter under her breathe about being right about you being a useless, reckless, incompetent human
and when you told her that she was wrong she looked surprised at your sudden outburst
but once you started, you didn't stop
you told her how tired you were of her always grabbing miranda's attention
you told her how you had many sleepless nights because miranda was with alcina going over research
you told her that you hated her for actually making you feel like you were useless just because you were different from her
you told her how much you loved miranda but you felt like miranda couldn't fully love you back because of alcina
because she was always going to love the lords more than she loved you
and you knew that miranda loved you, of course you did
but they were her pride and joy, you were just some mortal that miranda took in
and she'd probably move onto the next when you died off, she's probably done that countless times
but you didn't want to go out without proving your worth to miranda, and to alcina
you ended up telling alcina how close you'd been to finding the perfect vessel to bring back eva
how you wanted to surprise miranda with it when she got back
but you screwed up the experiment this time
something went wrong and you got that creature instead
you hated yourself for not having perfected the experiment yet
and you realised that maybe you were just as pathetic and useless as alcina said you were
and you hadn't meant to start crying halfway through your explanation, but you did
just like alcina hadn't meant to actually pull you into a hug, but she did
and then alcina apologised
she had realised what she was doing
and she knew she was doing it on purpose
she got jealous when you came along because before you, she was miranda's favourite
she was miranda's most devoted follower
someone miranda could always rely on
someone that miranda could shower with love
but all that changed when you met miranda
which was completely by accident
and then you can became miranda favourite
her latest obsession besides bringing her daughter back
you became the one that miranda relied on
became the person that miranda showered with all her love
and alcina's jealously got the best of her
she admits how ashamed she is of her behaviour towards you
you're not sure if you can forgive her just yet for everything
but you're appreciative of her apology
you're even more appreciative when alcina helps you capture the creature
said creature that was currently destroying her beautiful garden
that enraged her slightly
but it did help with capturing the creature and getting it back to your lab
which is where you shared your research with alcina
and where she helped you realise where you went wrong in your experimenting
you were a bit surprised when alcina helped you get it perfected
she helped you perfect the vessel for eva
you realised that if you gave it a bit of time that you and alcina would make great friends
but only if she didn't try and hold all of miranda's attention hostage for herself
Bonus HeadCanon
when miranda gets home, she's surprised to see you in the gardens with alcina
instinctively, she thinks something is wrong
but you both reassure her that everything is fine
and then you tell her that you have a surprise for her
she tears up when you show her the flasks that contain parts of eva's vessel
and when you tell her that you and alcina worked on it together, she rewards you both with a kiss
one on the cheek for alcina
and one on the lips for you
and as miranda pulls away from you with a smile on her face, she whispers something to you
she whispers, "I love you." ----- side note: no one asked for this. and this is not lady d x reader in a romatic sense, just in like an enemies to friends sence.... I just like the idea of reader having a little feud or something with alcina and something bringing them together, such as creating the perfect vessel to bring eva back, to bring them together to, perhaps, start a beautiful friendship with each other :) ao3 link

Bound Blood (Cassandra Dimitrescu/Reader, Soulmate AU) Pt. 3
Fandom: Resident Evil: Village Rating: T+ for language and violence Warnings: Choking (kinda) Summary: Local feral human makes a friend, tries to sleep next to local mean vampire, then gets a taste of their own medicine Previous Chapters: 1: Sharing Is (Not) Caring; 2: Bloodbath, Baby!
3: Haunt Me Dearly
What a lovely crimson mess I’ve made, you think, watching as the last of the bloody water drained from the bathtub. There were still several splashes of red along the sides, where you had leaned on or otherwise touched. Frowning, you considered whether or not to clean up after yourself. Surely it wouldn’t be one of your captors doing the cleaning? In that case, you think, I don’t want to make any enemies out of the servants. First you had to finish binding your wounds. Wouldn’t want to risk getting them dirty so soon after washing them, after all. Except you weren’t even sure that you could properly wrap them on your own, considering the positioning of your injuries.
“Ah, fucking hell…” You muttered, scowling a little. Then you remembered that Cassandra had sent a maid to wait outside the bathroom for you. Maybe they could help? Nodding to yourself, you threw on your new undergarments and pair of trousers, deciding to save the shoes for later. Once you were ‘decent’, you slowly opened the door, peeking out from behind it. Before long you were making eye contact with an unfamiliar woman, who looked very confused. “Any chance you could help me bandage my shoulder? I can’t do it without help, and something tells me Cassandra’s not going to lend me a hand.” With that said, you gave her a friendly smile, hoping to make up for the awkwardness of the situation.
“Of course! It is my honor to serve a guest of my Lady,” the maid- servant, maybe- said, giving a short curtsy. Admittedly you’re a little confused by her response. Still, you gladly welcome her assistance, moving back into the bathroom to grab the gauze. Although you intend to do as much as you can on your own, the woman is quick to take over completely. “Please, allow me,” she continued, carefully beginning to wrap your wounds.
“Are all the workers here so polite? I can’t imagine anyone actually enjoys working here, all things considered,” you mused, squinting at the middle distance. At that, the servant tenses up, clearly not expecting you to speak ill of her employers. Well, she had called you a guest. “Don’t be surprised, friend. Less than an hour ago I was fit to be consumed by ‘your Lady Cassandra’. Only reason I’m not dead right now is because of a stupid blood bond,” you explained, tone dripping with irritation. This time the servant doesn’t flinch at all, instead nodding slowly, taking a moment to let your words sink in. During this pause, you decide to introduce yourself, just in case the two of you might see each other frequently.
“I… see. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, no matter the circumstances of your presence here. You can call me Daphne, though I must warn you that I am not one for, ahem, gossip about my masters,” she replied, finishing her binding of your shoulder wound. Next she searched through the cabinet by the sink, looking for a medicinal salve of some sort. Once she found it she was right back to work. The substance stung a tad on your skin, but you could hardly complain, seeing as it would help fight off possible infections.
“You sure about no gossip? What if we call it ‘helping me get acclimated to my new situation’? I’m a fish outta water here, Daphne,” you suggested, turning your head to look her in the eyes. At first she ignored you, focusing on rubbing the medicine into your skin. Eventually she meets your gaze, briefly, and releases a quiet sigh.
“You are free to ask questions-” you start to celebrate, though not for long- “just as I am free to withhold answers. Though I may be more responsive if you can tell me one thing… Why was Lady Cassandra’s dress wet?” Daphne asked, making you freeze in place. Of course she wanted the one answer you didn’t feel confident about giving. She’s quick to notice this, though, and laughs to herself. “Well, I suppose some things must remain a mystery. Now let’s get your face cleaned up…”
-------------------------------
By the time you make it to Cassandra’s room, the sun is starting to rise, leaking in through the castle windows. Exhaustion weighs you down, making you want to fall immediately into the nearest bed. As it stands, that was none other than your soulmate’s, though it was currently occupied. For a moment you hover in her doorway, contemplating whether or not you should steal her blanket. Floor can’t be too bad, you think, right? Before you can decide you notice Cassandra stirring from her sleep.
“What took you so fucking long?” She asked groggily. Now she’s sitting up, blanket clinging loosely to her body, and you realize that she’s not wearing a shirt. Though a blush rishes up your cheeks, you’re certain it’s too dark for Cassandra to notice. Or at least you hope so. Wanting to think about something other than what she was (or was not) wearing, you focus your energy on responding.
“Isn’t it obvious? I got invited to a sick orgy on the way back, and I wasn’t about to turn that down, so…” You trailed off, gesturing idly with your hands. The movement stretches your shoulder more than you’d like, resulting in an ache that lasts several seconds. It distracts you to the point where you almost can’t catch the object Cassandra promptly throws at you. “What the hell…?” It’s a shoe, as far as you can tell, that definitely would have hurt, had it hit its intended target. “Such a lovely gift, babe. I will treasure it for the rest of my days, forever keeping it as a reminder that you-” your tone shifts from a false joy to deadpan- “are a piece of shit. Now, seriously, where am I supposed to sleep? Is there a walk-in closet I can camp in? Or do I get the bed, while you sleep in a fucking coffin or something?”
Before Cassandra has a chance to respond, you’re walking further into her room, wanting to take a quick look around. There’s a large dresser that you quickly toss her shoe inside, as well as a window sill with a built-in reading nook. Trading your tiredness for sheer dickery, you throw open the curtains, letting the light pour in (and nearly blind you in the process). Half of you expects your soulmate to screech in response. Maybe even turn to ash. Instead, you hear her moving, and you turn to find her laying back down, facing away from you.
“When you’re done fucking around, come over here and sleep. I will knock you out if I have to,” Cassandra muttered, still sounding half asleep. As much as you wanted to know if she’d go through with her threat, you are exhausted. Begrudgingly you approach the bed. It’s certainly large enough for two people, even having enough room for you to be completely separate from each other. When you start to climb in, you find yourself overwhelmed for a moment, surprised at the quality of the sheet fabric. Exactly how rich were these vampiric assholes? This room alone seemed to be worth more than you had ever known.
This was, perhaps, the one bright side to your situation: A comfortable state of existence. Well, as comfortable as one could get in a place like this. So lovely on the outside, a muse worthy of a thousand artists, yet hiding far darker horrors within… much like the woman you now found yourself laying beside. Why me? Why her? What could possibly bring the two of us together, you think, other than a cruel fate? There’s a pain in your chest, dishearteningly similar to heartache. Damning the universe, and your blood bond, and yourself, you think ‘fuck it’ before sliding closer to Cassandra. One arm drapes itself over her waist, while you slowly lean your head against her back.
In an instant she’s tense, not even breathing, waiting for you to reveal whatever trick hid up your sleeve. But no trick comes, just your hand meeting hers, squeezing softly. Suddenly the tension is gone. None remains, not even lingering in the air, and the two of you soon drift off to sleep...
-------------------------------
Shaking, body made a wreck through tremors, tears staining her cheeks. Breathing comes hard, each shift of her lungs bringing with it a mighty ache. Someone’s holding her, whispering sweet nothings in her ear, fingers tracing circles against her back. But she’s lost in her dream, eyes clenched shut. Visions flash before her gaze like lightning in a storm. There’s no time to process, no opportunity to prepare for the thunder that follows. Every strike is a punch to the gut she can’t ignore. When release finally comes, it is not a gentle kiss to her forehead, or a reassuring hand on her own, but rather an intense surge of pain that jolts her awake.
Cassandra nearly screams as she sits up, hands reflexively going to hold her head. One of them stings, bad, and she notices what look like bite marks on the side. For a moment her confusion acts as a welcome distraction. Then she’s looking next to her, and the puzzle practically puts itself together. There you are, one hand in your mouth, an eyebrow raised as you stare at her. Ignoring the lingering memories of her dream, she turns all of her rage towards you. Quickly she grabs ahold of your arm, forcefully yanking your hand out of your mouth, even though it makes your teeth dig in a little deeper. It takes more willpower than she wants to admit to stop herself from strangling you right then and there.
“I didn’t know monsters could even have nightmares,” you taunted. Before you know what’s happening, Cassandra is lunging towards you, pressing her forearm against your throat. There’s just enough pressure to make talking difficult. Both of her yellow eyes are filled with hatred, aimed right at you, but you can’t help but laugh. “Ya know, I did try to wake you up nicely. I should have known you only respond to violence. Next time, though, I’ll remember to stay a safe distance away.”
“You don’t know anything, dipshit. Anyone else would know better than to spout so much fucking ignorance, but nobody taught you how to behave, huh?” Cassandra growled, applying more pressure with her arm, leaving you unable to reply (for once). “You’re a goddamn mutt, aren’t you? Thrown to the street like the garbage you are, left to live in the gutter, feeding off of trash like a fucking cannibal. You should be honored to be allowed anywhere near me. You should be worshiping me, for fuck’s sake!” Black dots form in your vision, a dark halo edging into the corners of your eyes, as your lungs beg for air. But you’re grinning. You’re showing your teeth, bright and proud, knowing full well that you have won this round. As soon as realization dawns on Cassandra’s face she’s pulling herself off of you.
Still, you are left gasping, clutching at your neck as she hurriedly gets dressed for the day. By the time you can see properly again, she’s left without another word. Even as she stalks down the corridor, eagerly rushing away from you, she hears your laughter howling through the castle. It digs into her brain, taunting her. Soon enough you’ll stop, light headed, but she will still hear it echoing inside her mind. You’ll haunt her just as much as her wicked dreams. Hopefully more.

Beyond Death
Alcina Dimitrescu x Reader (Gender Neutral)
Warnings: Death, Loss, Grief, Spoilers for RE8:Village, Swearing
Genre: Angst, Heavy Angst
Summary: After fighting triumph over Lady Dimitrescu in her dragon/monster form, Ethan thinks he’ll have to face one last threat before leaving the castle but said threat happens to be nothing but a hollow ghost carrying a broken heart.
Requested by Anon. Hi hun! Thank you so much for your wonderful and extremely heartbreaking request! So sorry that it’s taken me so long to write and post it but I still hope you’ll come across it and give it a read. If so I hope you enjoy it! Love, Vy ❤
It’s over. It’s finally fucking over.
Ethan Winters lets out a heavy but shaky sigh of relief that practically deflates him as though he had been holding it in - was holding it in during the entire duel against Lady Dimitrescu who is now nothing my an ashy corpse on the floor, leaving behind only a crystal sculpture to her name - the nine foot tall vampire lady that reigned over the village with a reputation stronger than the village’s actual ruler - Mother Miranda.
And now her and her daughters remain a memory - quite an unpleasant one - for the villagers, leaving one less Lord for them to fear yet remaining a figure they cower in fear just by thinking about her.
Pushing past the cloud of confusion, relief and disbelief, a soft sound that appears to be footsteps approaching reaches Ethan’s brain, kicking his heartbeat up and forcing him back into a fight-or-flight mindset. Of course he’s gonna choose fight, of course this fool is gonna see this all till the end.
But what if it’s not a fight the person approaching wants?
What if all they want is to have made it there a few minutes earlier?
What if they are no threat now and they never have been? What if that’s why the Dimitrescus kept them safe in the hidden chambers and quarters of their castle, places not even Alcina’s dear Miranda knew nothing about.
Y/N L/N Dimitrescu, Alcina’s one true love.
They were a neighbor of Alcina’s prior to the experimentation process. The two got along nicely - well, more than nicely. Pleasantly enough for Alcina to develop feelings for them along the way. Feelings that the pain and suffering of the experiments never managed to wipe away, ones that still resided with Alica even years later and only flared up stronger when Y/N recognized her on one of their ventures into the outskirts, near the Dimitrescu Castle.
“Alcina?“ They had said, their wide and confused eyes meeting the vampire’s terrified ones.
The typically fearless Lady Dimitrescu found herself at a loss of words, her throat dry, her stomach aching and her chest tight at the sight of the one last connection she has to humanity - her feelings for Y/N. But she was left on the fence, suffocated by the suspense of how Y/N would continue onward with the interaction. How they’d react to her drastic change? How they’d address her?
“Y/N...“ Their name was barely a shaky whisper on the tall woman’s lips, trembling hands clenched in tight fists to prevent from letting her emotions show.
“I missed you.“
That was what hit Alcina the strongest. That one single sentence had her assuming her true form - a pile of shard of the past, present and the many possible futures ahead. A pile of shards glued together with a weak glue threatening to give at any moment, collapsing the tough, graceful and untouchable façade of Alcina Dimitrescu. That’s how the woman knew she still had something human in her. Or rather with her as long as she had Y/N.
And so she kept them like a precious pearl in the palm of her hand and they never once neglected showing their gratitude for all she did for them. They never once hesitated to show their love and appreciation in return to all they received from her. But, the most important gift Alcina was keen on giving was the presence of her true self around Y/N. She never bothered with an act around them. Never lied, never put on a show. She was more human than ever around them. She was fragile, vulnerable, honest and bare before them. And they never made her feel any less than the feverous Lord she was despite her human side.
“It only makes you stronger.“ Y/N would say, referring to Alcina’s human side, “As a human myself, I can confirm we humans aren’t that bad and incompetent. Not all of us, at least. I remember you aren’t, that’s for sure.“
“Who are you?!“ Gun pointed at the pale figure moving barefoot across the room to crouch down next to the ashy corpse of Alcina Dimtrescu, Ethan can feel his blood starting to boil again. It’s not real fear but it’s most definitely a feeling of hostility fueled by massive adrenaline that seems to have taken complete control of him and has him in a death grip, leading him to do and say crap he normally wouldn’t. This behavior of his would be enough to get even Chris Redfield to take a step back but this person doesn’t seem to even acknowledge his presence let alone be intimidated by him.
Focusing their complete attention on the mess of crystals before them, they gently run their fingertips over the creature’s wing but sadly even their light touch manages to crumble a small bit of ash from it, the dust falling to the floor along with Y/N’s heart.
“Hey, answer me! Who the hell are you?! What are you doing here? Are you...are you like them? One of them?“ His voice becomes more and more uncertain, decreasing from an angry shout to a shaky whisper.
“You killed her. You took her from me.“ Is the response he eventually gets, spoken by a monotone flat voice that doesn’t go with Y/N’s appearance at all. Their eyes remain fixated on the tiny spot on the wing they touched seconds ago as if their gaze will bring it back to live.
Bring her back to them.
That on its own is enough to get Ethan to keep his mouth shut, gaining a vague idea of what’s going on here and who this person might be. What the deceased means to them. In his eyes, she was nothing but a monster, but in theirs, it’s obvious she was a lot more.
And so, when he approaches them and and tries to communicate with them one last time, he says and does the only thing he sees as even moderately right in this situation: he sets the crystal remains of Alcins Dimitrescu by their side. “Have this, I believe she’d want you to. It’s all that’s left of her that you can keep.“ He knows their face is emotionless and still but something about that stillness is the exact reason why he doesn’t want to look at them while he says those words. He can’t find it in himself to apologize, not that an apology would help him much in this situation anyway, so all he can attempt is pointless. All that matters to them is gone - that’s the price of him gaining a stronger chance at getting his daughter back before it’s too late.
And just like that, without another word, the blonde man walks out of the castle, leaving the broken heart and soul that used to be a complete human being behind him. A complete human being in love with someone extraordinary. Their love for her knew no bounds, and not even death as they sit there by their lover’s remains, refusing to leave their side even when they are not both present in this world.
A lover’s true love and devotion is shown when tested - unfortunately, Y/N and Alcina’s love was faced with the ultimate test: death. And it hasn’t faltered, nor will it ever as it seems.

The Dimitrescu Ladies and Donna Beneviento with their S/O who is a shapeshifter.
A/N:
The reader can shapeshift into any animal but always chooses cats.
Alcina Dimitrescu / Lady Dimitrescu
You first wandered into the castle as a black cat. Alcina entranced you with her beauty during that one time she visited the village. So you decided to follow her to her home.
You kept observing her behaviors and would just sit around her window every day. After weeks of doing that, you got curious of her castle so you decided to explore.
The first person to see you was Daniela. She squealed as she picked you up and carried you to see her sisters. You didn't try to fight her because you were just chill like that.
The three sisters kept gushing about you for days and you would always shapeshift into your human form in the night.
One day, Alcina walks in on Bela reading to you, and she just smiles as Bela seems so satisfied with you around.
Then she sees Cassandra painting you. And you were just so still? Which can't be normal for a cat. Alcina decided to watch and both you and Cassandra were flushed as she painted you.
Then she catches Daniela just burying her face into your fur so she decides to finally adopt you? Which you sweated at. You're a human. And yes, you've been neglecting stuff from your home since you decided to hang around Castle Dimitrescu but shit. You can't just move and permanently be a cat.
You decided to run away at the last minute before Alcina could even put a collar on you to officially adopt you.
Ever since then, you stopped visiting the Castle. Needless to say, both Alcina and the girls were severely disappointed and whiny about you being gone.
A week after that, you were invited by your cousin who works in the Castle to see if you could work there.
You tried to turn it down but decided not to. Your money is slowly running out after all.
You try to listen to your cousin as she gives you the tour but you can't help it. Everything looks different now that you're actually inside as a human.
You stop at a particular portrait, one that you were fond of even as a cat.
Your cousin tilts her head at your behavior, not only were you not listening but you even point out some things that only servants and the people living inside would know?
You sigh in reply and just followed her.
Two weeks into working at Castle Dimitrescu and you're irritated. You can't shapeshift into anything and it pisses you off.
You decided to turn into a bat so you could sleep outside.
That night, Daniela wanted to sleep with you because despite being new you were oddly already comfortable with them and somehow already knew their preferred stuff.
It was little things that they only knew but you have complied to. Like how Bela wants the books in the library arranged. How Cassandra wants her sickle to be prepared before she would go on a hunt. How Daniela preferred her bed to be made and so on.
Daniela panicked and got her sisters to help find you. They even got your cousin roped in.
Come morning and you change into a human. You go outside your room and tilt your head as everyone is just trying to find something?
You tap your cousin's shoulder and ask what to look for when she shouts then hugs you. Everyone looks over and sighs in relief as they spot you.
"What? What happened?" You ask your cousin when you get tackled by Daniela to the ground.
"You were gone in the middle of the night! Where did you go?" You look at your cousin who nods. Oh.
"I was only outside my room, Miss Daniela." Bela raises an eyebrow at you.
"You weren't. Trust me, we checked everywhere." You sigh and get Daniela off your body. You stand.
"I was. Only I was a bat." They all murmur at your statement and you roll your eyes. Your cousin is smirking because she knew that you could shapeshift and hated that you wanted to hide your ability. You walk slowly then turn into the black cat that the Dimitrescu women had loved and disappeared.
"Blackie!?" "Kitten!?" "Sunny!?" Apparently the three girls had named you already in their head. You nod as a cat and their jaw drops. You change back into your human form.
"I'm sorry I left before but I just couldn't be a cat forever even if I wanted to. Same way I don't want to always be human." You explain. Bela was the first to hug you. Then Cass and Dani followed suit. Even Alcina was looking at you fondly.
The next month is pure chaos. The three girls in one way or another are always with you. It made your work a lot harder, specially since they like to always be touching you in some way.
Sometimes, Daniela and Cassandra would deliberately make a mess just so you would clean it up. Bela is the most helpful one because when she's with you, she's just quiet and like to observe you.
One day, Alcina invites you to dinner with just her. Alcina then realized why her daughters were so comfortable with you.
Occasionally becomes weekly then weekly becomes daily. Before you knew it, Alcina had asked you out on a date.
She wanted to promote or at least not give you any more work but you don't let her.
Your cousin now teases you as you become a blushing mess in front of the Lady Dimitrescu.
When they got a wind of the date, the three girls helped you get ready and even gave you advices to woo their mother.
Your date with Alcina went well and that night you slept with her.
Donna Beneviento
You were hired as a maid alongside your cousin in the Beneviento house. There were only the two of you and your cousin was assigned to be the cook.
So you were assigned to be the cleaner. Cleaning the house was fun, you must admit. Some of the dolls even started to talk to you.
But then you were put in a tough spot. There was a part of the house you can't quite reach. Not even if you put a chair below you. You sigh in defeat so you transform into a cat and carry the duster in your mouth. You were halfway through cleaning when Donna gets inside the room. Angie gets shocked and shouts at you. You, in surprise, drops the duster. So you sigh and jump down.
You transform into a human as you land and Angie's jaw drops. "Is something wrong, Lady Beneviento?" You ask as you get the duster. "Do you need anything?"
"You can transform to a cat!?" Angie gets up in your face and you nod.
"Yes. And any animal if I so desire. But Cats are my favorite so they tend to be the one I always transform to."
"How!?" You rub your neck in embarassement.
"I don't really know myself. It's something that I was born with, I guess?"
Ever since then, Donna would show up randomly while you're cleaning that room, hoping that you'd transform. You understood, specially since she's sometimes just peeking through the door. So when she gets curious, even though you're not cleaning that spot, you transform into a cat. Her gasp and amazed gaze is enough for you to transform.
Your cousin even teases you about it since you generally try to hide being a shapeshifter.
On one of your day offs, you decided to just roam around the house as a cat. Your cousin even snickered and you hissed at her.
Donna spots you just staring at her portrait and she blushes. Why would you stare at that?
You notice her without Angie and just stride up to her. Waiting for her to pet you. She carefully pets your head and you began purring at her. She was surprised at first but petted you more. It's been so long since someone with such gentle hands has touched your fur, after all.
Ever since then, Donna would always pet you and you would always transform when she's near.
One day, in a particularly cold night. You decided to transform into a bear. Donna has decided to seek you out but Angie shouts when she spotted you, a bear. You transform back and look at them. "Is there something wrong?" You ask then yawn. You were just tired and sleepy.
"Can we sleep with you? It's really cold." You nod and open up your blanket. She slips besides you and you immediately hug her.
"Do you mind if I transform into a bear? It'll be warmer for the both of us." She turns to you and nods. You hum and transform again. You hold her tightly and she smiles at your warmth and the way you make her feel safe.
Ever since then, Donna sneaks in your bedroom when it's cold.
One day, she finally decides to confess to you and ask you out on a date. You accept and hug her.
And slowly but surely, as you and Donna become more like a couple, you would transform into other animals while she would be amazed every time.
Bela Dimitrescu
You were a maiden about to be hunted but you transformed as Bela was upon you. So instead of human you. A black cat was severely injured. She gasps in horror and quickly brings you to the castle.
She gets help from the grand chambermaid who quickly stitches your wounds and bandages you up. Bela is by your side when you wake up. You can't even stretch your body or move it that much since everything just hurts.
Bela wakes up and you pretend to fall asleep. She leaves and you sigh in relief. She comes back with food and water for you, you think. Since it was Tuna. You wake up and get to the plate of food. You grab a bite and Bela sighs in relief.
"I'm so sorry." She apologizes but you pay her no mind as you devour the food. Food can help your regenerative abilities after all. You can already feel your body patching itself up as you eat the last fish. You eye the water and Bela quickly puts it in front of you and removes the plate now devoid of food. You sigh in relief as you quench your thirst.
If you're honest, the healing only took a day to happen because Bela gave you so much food. But you wanted to stay at the Mystical Castle first before going back to a normal life in the village.
Bela is typically with you, going so far as she can for you. She doesn't even let Cassandra or Daniela near you since she's afraid they'll hurt you as well.
When you explored the library, Bela had this look on her eyes and you realize that she must be missing reading. So you get to a book just sitting on a sofa and open it.
"Do you want me to read to you?" Bela asks as she sits besides you. You meow in response and she smiles as she opens the book. Her voice was so calming and before you knew it, you'd fallen asleep.
After an hour of sleep though, you began transforming since you've been in your cat form for too long. And there you were, the maiden that Bela was supposed to be hunting. The maiden that was supposed to be bound, not a black cat.
"So it was you." She hums as she caresses your face. "I thought I made a mistake."
"Are you going to kill me now?" You ask as you sit. You sigh in defeat. "Thanks for the food, I guess. And for taking care of me for the past few days. Few people would do that for a stray cat that's injured."
"I injured you." You shrug.
"Some people would just leave or even finish the job." You sigh. "I've seen too many cruel people in the city before. It's one of the reasons why I moved out here in the village."
"You're from the city?" She asks curiously and scoots closer to you. You nod then begin telling her all sorts of things.
How things are done so differently here than there. How people burn themselves out. How cruelty can make you numb.
How you were originally just wanting to take a break but everything about the village was too enticing to pass. So you stayed here and the villagers welcomed you with open arms. But now you're savings are almost depleted and you don't know anything to do other than some basic life skills.
Bela convinces Alcina to hire you as a maid. You move in the Castle and your quarters is the closest one to Bela.
When you would clean around the castle, Bela is right behind you, either to assist you or just observe quietly.
Cassandra and Daniela have teased her about her obsession with you but she didn't care. She just wanted to gaze at you more.
One day, you were tasked with cleaning the roof and she was there even though it was cold. You got her inside for her own protection. So Bela borrowed Alcina's opera glasses to look at you. You actually transformed into different animals to reach most of the spots and just generally had fun.
She scheduled you to be put on the roof more. She joined you once it was the summer and she laughs as you keep transforming.
Your first kiss happened one night. You were just tired and kept nodding off as Bela read a book. She closes the book and lifts you up. She carries you to your own room. She tucks you in and was about to leave when she looks back. She whispers a good night and kisses you on the forehead.
"That's it?" You ask and Bela freezes as she opens her eyes. You sigh and pull her closer to give her a proper kiss.
Cassandra Dimitrescu
You were just another maid in the Castle. Another to be either tortured or played with by Cassandra. But somehow, the girl has always had a soft spot for you.
Maybe because you were actually complying to some of her requests. Some harder than others.
Maybe because you don't flinch when you hear her surprise you. Or the way you catch her before she could even surprise you.
Maybe because unlike most people, you actually show genuine interest in her paintings.
Maybe because you're the one who reads stories to her. The one who is patient enough to get through her sarcastic comments and snide remarks.
Maybe.
You were on your day off when Cassandra decided to follow you. What could her favorite possibly do on a day you were supposed to be relaxing?
She raised an eyebrow as you stop in front of a large tree. You then transform into a cat and her jaw drops as you climb the large tree. You stretch your whole body before plopping down and sleeping.
She looks up at you and she goes back to the castle to get some snacks to wait for you to wake up. You spent five hours just sleeping in your cat form before landing down. Cassandra hums as she sees you transform back into a human.
She takes notes of all the things you do. The trinkets you buy from the Duke. Food that you seem to savor.
Next day, you find a gift on your bedside drawer. It was freshly picked flowers since you always stop for a moment when you pass some. It even has a note.
So you could smell some flowers everyday.
It has no initials on it but you smiled as you recognized the handwriting.
Since then, Cassandra would give you some things here and there while you were more attentive to her. You were even smiling more than ever.
When she gives you a plate of Tuna that made you laugh. So she knew.
That day you completed your work much faster and was let go by the grand chambermaid much earlier than usual.
You decided to surprise Cassandra in your cat form by waiting for her to get inside her quarters. She squeals then just hugs you. You laugh as you both just have fun through the night.
She falls asleep while holding you and you fall asleep listening to her heartbeat.
Since then there was just an understanding with you and Cassandra.
More time were spent together. Things were given. Stories are exchanged.
The officiality didn't come for a long time but when she kisses you, that's when you knew. She'd fallen for you. Just like you'd fallen for her.
Daniela Dimitrescu
You were actually a showy shapeshifter. Everyone in the village knew you that you could turn into any animal but always chooses to be a cat.
She was passing the village with the other ladies of the Dimitrescu Castle when she sees you transform. She squeals and runs up to you. She carries you and presents you to Alcina.
"Mother can we keep-"
"Darling, no-"
"But she can transform into a human!" All of them look at you expectantly and you sigh as you free yourself then transform.
"Oh, it's you, Y/N." Alcina actually knew you as the Duke's assistant/business partner with your connections. You bow to her as a greeting.
"Lady Dimitrescu. Is this your lovely daughters?" She nods and you smile. "May I know their names?"
"This is Bela. Cassandra and Daniela." You smile at Daniela then take her hand. You kiss it then wink.
"A most fitting name to a dashing young lady." Alcina rolls her eyes at you because you can be such a flirt.
"Well, we best be going now, Y/N." You bow in acknowledgement.
"May I visit more often now, Lady Dimitrescu?" Alcina sighs. Because even though you're not quite annoying, you are persistent. A stubborn one, just like her.
"You may do as you please." You thank her for that and watch them as they leave.
For the next coming days, you visit Castle Dimitrescu more often. Just so you could see Daniela, chat with her or just observe her.
You could tell that she craves stories more than anything so you do your best to read more books so you could see her face light up as you tell her new stories.
You even began writing some new ones just so she would be happy.
One day, while you were waiting for Daniela. You fell asleep and transformed into a cat. You try not to visit her in this form so she would like you more as a human, not just with your abilities.
You wake up on top of Daniela, still in your cat form. You smile as you get back to sleep. Alcina sighs as she catches you two on that position but she decides to leave you both alone.
You wake up with Daniela humming and reading besides you. You were back to being human.
"Lady Daniela?" You yawn. "How long have I fallen asleep?"
"Six hours. You transformed into a cat." You hum.
"I tend to do that when I haven't transformed into something else for too long."
"Oh. Why?" You shrug at the question. Even you don't know the extent nor rules of your ability. "Don't you want to find out more?" You shake your head.
"I tend to not look at my ability as a research but rather a fun ability." You two talk about your abilities and actually have fun comparing them.
One day, your visits stopped. You were on a business trip, Alcina informed Daniela. Something about a new connection being built.
Daniela keeps glancing at the gates every time she hears it opening, hoping it was you.
It took you three excruciatingly long weeks to close a deal. Duke was so proud of you but you just glare at him.
He surrenders as you walk past him and transform into a panther. You quickly run to the Dimitrescu Castle. You find Daniela sleeping in the library and smile. You transform into a cat and get on top of her then sleep.
Daniela wakes up then hugs you. She prepares food for you then wait for you to wake up. Which wasn't long since you were actually hungry. You eat the plate of fish and purr at her. She laughs as she pets you while you eat.
Since then, you two would spend more time together, you would even sometimes help Daniela with hunting when you transform into a tiger.
She asks you out on a date in a very romantic way. With your food shaped like the letters. Date?
It made you laugh and you accepted it. You didn't actually think she would make the first move but she did.
One day, you just plopped down your suitcase full of clothes in front of Alcina.
"Let me move in and I'll be helping with the wine business and Duke." She immediately accepted because that's two things that can be a source of a headache for her.
You decided to move in Daniela's room with no announcement, she just found all of your clothes in her room and you sleeping on her bed with just a note on her drawer.
-I moved in. Hope you don't mind.-
And she didn't mind. Not at all.
A/N:
I just really love cats.
This one took longer than usual?
Still writing on my phone because my sibling is hogging the laptop. Damn it.
Anyway.
Thoughts and Comments are always welcome!
Thank you for reading!

Life of Death
You’re gonna need tissues for this one folks! A huge thank you to @addictedtodinosaurs for allowing me to write this wonderful headcannon! Hope you guys enjoy!
Warning: Angst. Whole lot of angst
It hasn’t even been a day since Alcina’s world collapsed. Ethan Winters managed to flee Castle Dimitrescu with his life and topple the hierarchy Mother Miranda worked so hard to achieve. Everyone is gone; Angie, Moreau's house, Mother Miranda, even her baby brother Karl. They never stood a chance after the fall of the great Mother Miranda. Without her protection, they were left helpless. Of course, Ethan only saw them all as monsters; filthy bloodthirsty creatures that needed to be slain. That’s all anyone ever saw them as. They’re different so that must mean they’re wrong. They’re abnormally different from anything I’d ever seen so that automatically means they’re evil.
But they’re still a family. Lucky for Alcina, she never let herself depend on anyone other than herself. Well, except for her daughters.
She was wandering around the ruins of the castle in search of them. They were nowhere to be found since Ethan escaped. It was a grueling task but obviously, one that needed to be done. They need their mother’s tender love and care to nurse them back to health.
Cassandra was the first to be found. Naturally, she was found within the comfort of her basement. Where else would that silly girl be hiding? Just like Daniela, her bleeding seemed to have majorly stopped on its own. So all that was left for Alcina to do was bathe her and bandage her wounds. Alcina carried her upstairs to her bedroom slowly and carefully to not make her feel any sicker to her stomach. From there she bathed her and wrapped whatever wounds she had in delicate cloth before putting her to rest in her bed. Alcina tousled her wet hair before leaving in search of the rest of her brood.
Daniela was the easiest to find. She was left lying face down in the parlor soaked in a pool of her own blood. Her body was riddled with bullet holes to the point where her abdomen resembled Swiss Cheese. Alcina was quick to scoop her up and bring her upstairs to tend to her wounds. Until she got Daniela in the bath she used the ends of her dress to put pressure on her abdomen. Just like Cassandra, her bleeding seemed to have majorly stopped on its own. So all that was left for Alcina to do was bathe her and bandage her wounds.
Picking each individual bullet out of her body was an uphill battle, but Alcina was the eventual victor. Even better, she managed to not disturb her youngest’s slumber as she patched her up. Daniela was now free to rest as much as she needed in the sanctuary of her mother’s bed.
“What a mess we’re left with, hm? Don’t you worry about a thing my little Tasmanian Devil, Mother’s here now. I’ll protect you.”
The girls remained motionless as Alcina tucked Daniela in next to her sister.
Alcina watched as her little bundles of joy rested comfortably under the warm blankets and plush pillows. They look so sweet and at peace. It was rare for the matriarch to see them like this, but it always brought a smile to her face.
“You just rest now, my lovelies. I’m going to go find your sister so she can rest easy as well.” Alcina bends down and kisses each daughter on the forehead. “I’ll be right back.”
It took a few hours of searching to find her eldest daughter. Doing countless laps around the castle finally brought Alcina to explore the labyrinth of hidden passageways. There were a few times when said passageways brought her right back up to her bedroom. She wasn’t complaining too much though. Every time it happened she simply checked on her girls and reminded them how much she loves them.
Bela was by far the hardest to find. The sounds of scurrying behind a row of bookcases alerted Alcina to her presence. Following a single passageway eventually led Alcina to find the blonde buried from the chest down in rubble. The tunnel had collapsed from then on.
Alcina made quick work of removing the rock and rubble from her daughter's body. Rats fled back into their holes as she did so. The eldest Dimitrescu never moved even an inch. It took a while, but Alcina did manage to get her out in one piece. She whispered promises of a warm bath and offered to deep clean the dirt and dust out of her hair.
Bela couldn’t respond but Alcina knew she heard her. She could still sense her. She could sense all of them. They’re just weak, that’s all. They need as much rest as they can get.
It’s late evening by the time all three girls are bathed and tucked into bed. They were dressed in clean clothes and had their bandages changed again before Alcina crawled carefully into bed with them. She made sure to be extra careful when nudging them out of the way so she was in the middle; Bela on one side and Cassandra and Daniela on the other. Her arms wrapped around them all snugly.
It reminds Alcina of all the times the girls would burst into her room when they were little during a thunderstorm. All four of them would cuddle up just like this under the covers and either sing to them or read them a story.
“Tomorrow is a new day, my loves. We will start anew and we’ll be stronger than ever. I hope you sleep peacefully.”
The next morning comes slowly for Alcina. It’s quiet for once as the girls aren’t awake to cause mischief. Aching in her back and arms keeps her from stretching out. She smiled when she feels the girls are still snuggled up close to her.
“Good morning my darlings,” she says with a yawn. “How are we feeling today?”
Alcina kisses each daughter on the cheek and chooses not to notice how much more pale they were this morning. And certainly doesn’t recognize how stiff they were. She simply chalks it up to sleeping uncomfortably. After all, even she woke up with an aching back. Her arms wrapped around them must have really bothered them.
“It’s alright, girls. Take all the time you need to recover. You’ve been through quite the ordeal and need as much rest as you can get. I understand that. Mommy will be waiting for you right here to wake up. I’ll be the first thing you see when you open your bleary little eyes.”
The family lounged for the better half of the morning. Alcina takes her time stroking the hair of each of her girls’ hair and whispers words of comfort to them. “You’re so brave, my loves. And so strong; stronger than Mommy could ever hope to be.”
She notices a rather putrid smell coming from Daniela. One not caused by uncleanliness or a rotten meal, but something else entirely. Her immediate response is to change her bandages again, but can’t help but notice how pale Daniela had become overnight. Her lips were turning a shade of blue and the rest of her skin looked sickly. So did Cassandra and Daniela. Perhaps this is worse than simply recovering from injuries? Maybe....maybe they really were-
Alcina shook her head. They’ll wake up. Of course, they’ll wake up! They just need to rest extra long before they can really start to recover. So what if they get worse before they get better? At the end of the day, all that matters is that they do wake up. Then it’s smooth sailing from there.
The silence is suffocating. She feels the chill in her blood, coldness bringing the synapses of her brain to a standstill. Part of it is a pain, but one Alcina can endure. One she has to endure; for the sake of her daughters.
While she waited, Alcina called for a maid, the only one left, to fetch some documents from her private study that needed her attention.
They didn’t actually need her attention, of course. With the demise of Mother Miranda, the document's importance was nullified. But Alcina Dimitrescu is not the type of person to just sit around and do nothing. Especially when there are so many important things to do.
As soon as the maid steps into the room she understands what’s happening. She went through something strikingly similar when she had her miscarriage some years ago. Reality is a cruel plane of existence. Especially when you lose someone you loved suffering it with. It’s plain to see that her mistress is grieving her losses and she doesn’t have the heart to break whatever fantasies Lady Dimitrescu has built-in her head.
Instead, she chooses to play along. Delusional or not this was still Lady Dimitrescu, the woman will kill her if she tells her anything other than what she wants to hear. She gives a kind smile and curtsy to her Mistress and simply dies as she’s asked.
“Shall I fetch you some wine, My Lady?”
Alcina thought about it for a moment. It has been over 24 hours since she last fed and she was certainly craving sustenance. But ultimately decides against it in favor of her daughters.
“No. Keep what we have left safe for when my daughters wake. They’ll need their strength more than I’ll need mine.”
The maid waits a minute before trying again. She looks over at the girls still laying in bed. It’s obvious they are no longer there. She could smell the evidence of that from across the room.
“Very well, Lady Dimitrescu. I could send up a platter of-“
“Enough,” Alcina shouts but quickly catches herself from continuing. The girls don’t need to be disturbed by such a trivial matter. “Go make yourself useful and clean my daughters’ rooms. They’ll want them spotless when they wake up.”
The maid simply bows her head. “Of course, my Lady. Please forgive me.”
The next two weeks went on like this before the maid had enough. She wanted to help her mistress, she truly did, but there was nothing left for her here anymore. The last scraps of human food were officially gone and there was no reason to trek down to the village and come all the way back when she could just as easily take up residence down there. It was a gut-wrenching decision but it had to be done. She tried her best for Lady Dimitrescu and that’s all that mattered.
She slipped away in the dead of night. Normally the Lady would have any escapees hunted down and dragged back up to the castle only to be thrown in the basement. But there was no one to do that anymore. Heisenberg and his pack of lycans had perished long ago, even before the Lady’s daughters, and the Lady was too drained of emotions to care. Too weak to chase after her.
Alcina’s daughters are her everything. Every day she lived for them. She lived because of them.
Alcina took great pride in her tall stature. She is the image of beauty and elegance. The only real flaw in her design is its role in hunting down prey. You’d have to be blind or stupid to not see her coming after you. Even with her much larger strides, she wouldn’t be able to keep up. And Alcina Dimitrescu does not run. Prey is not worth running for.
So she depends on her daughters to hunt for her. They’re much more suited for the job; so young, and clever, and agile. They are her cubs and her, their lioness, too old to keep up with the hunting party.
Alcina looks at her girls and sees them as they truly are; dead. Lifeless corpses. Their bodies are decaying and cold. She has been changing the bed sheets every morning to keep away the maggots but failed to stop all of them. The smell of death is noxious even with all the windows open because Bela said she wanted to feel the crisp winter breeze.
“My girls,” Alcina sobs. “What have I done to you?”
She collapses at their bedside and finally allows herself to break down.
But looking up at them she still feels them. She can still feel their arms wrap around her shoulders as she cries. The smell of paint is still on Cassandra’s cloak and Daniela was sitting on the floor right next to her. The short ends of red hair tickled Alcina’s cheek. If they were truly gone, how is it she can still feel Bela kiss the top of her head and wrap her arms around her neck in an embrace?
“I never should have done this. How can I be so selfish? I never should have turned you to suffer as I have.” A new wave of tears blurred her vision. “What kind of mother am I?”
She knows she doesn’t have long now. How can she bring herself to care? Everyone she ever cared about was already gone. What’s the point of trying to survive without her dearest family, especially when she’s so close to being reunited. Alcina wiggles her way back under the covers and pulls her daughters close once more. She’s crying in earnest now, happy that her pain is almost over. Even now she can see her daughters playing together, maybe even with Uncle Karl somewhere in the far off distance.
A smile spreads to Alcina’s lips as she closes her eyes and simply waits for her turn to join in on the fun.

Note
May I ask for a blacksmith male reader and Lady Dimitrescu where she has to come to him to ask him to repair something from the castle and she's condescending and talks down to him until he tells her 'either treat me with respect or get the fuck out and find someone else.' The fact he stood up to her despite him not being of the Cadou like her makes her come back a few times to get to know him. Maybe a romance blooms from there. Thanks friend I love your work!
Broken Truth (Raises an eyebrow): Smart-Ass, huh? Alright, I can worth with that. Let the words weave together.
Broken Whispers: And before you ask - yes, that was a Mass Effect Reference.
[[Y/N] [L/N]'s Metal Works]
The sound of a hammer hitting steel echoed throughout the small blacksmith shop as the owner pounded away at the bent heated sword to get the curve out of the blade. This man was [Y/N] [L/N] - The Lord of Steel; while he did master in shaping all kinds of metal, that title of Lord of Metal belonged to Lord Karl Heisenberg of House Heisenberg - the sword he was actually working on was for the 4th Lord of the Village.
The sound of the bell at the front desk made the man stop his hammering and he was pleased to see the sword was now straight as it should have been. He rose to his feet and placed the heated blade in a tub of water before he grabbed a cloth, wiped his face and arms of the coal dust from his flesh, and walked from the backroom to greet his customer.
Imagine the surprise on his face when his [E/C] eyes locked with the golden eyes of the Dragoness of Castle Dimitrescu glaring down at him from the other side of his service counter. Compared to the blacksmith - who was tall in his own right as a human (7 feet, 4 inches) - the tall woman was still at least 2 heads over him. He cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Greetings - Welcome to Metal Works. What can I do for you today?" He asked.
"Metal Works? Such a basic name for a shop but at the same time, there's not much to be expected when a pathetic male is running it." Alcina said with a scoff on her face while the man just raised his eyebrow.
"Excuse me? Just who do you think you - coming into my shop with the nerve to insult me?" The man asked as he folded his muscular and scarred arms with a scoff of his own on his face.
"You fix your lip to talk back to me, You Stupid Man-Thing?! I am Alcina Dimitrescu - First Lord to Mother Miranda." Alcina said with a smirk on her face.
"I wouldn't give a Lycan's furry ass if you were Mother Miranda or Queen Elizabeth herself! You do not come into my shop - the one thing I've made without aid from anyone, spilling my blood and sweat into each stone and creation - to and disrespect me when you are in need of my services. You have 2 choices: Either show me the proper respect or get the hell out of my shop and ask someone else to deal with your problem!" The man yelled back at her - tired of her bullshit. Alcina looked at him for a moment before she handed him a broken shield that bore the Crest of House Dimitrescu.
"My daughters broke it during their roughhousing. This shield was the first relic of House Dimitrescu & I do not wish it to remain in halves." She said.
"Very well - I can have this fixed tomorrow morning." He said as he took the two pieces in his hands. "The total will be 1,000 Lei upon retrieval."
"Wait, only 1,000 Lei? Why so cheap?" Alcina asked.
"I get a lot of business a day so it would be horrible if I charged too much - it would make me feel like I'm ripping off the citizens of this village." [Y/N] said as he bowed to the tall woman, took the shield pieces & retreats to the back room, leaving the lady standing there for a while before she leaves.
When she did return the next morning to retrieve the shield - she noticed it looked far better than it did. He did more than putting the pieces back together. It was polished and painted - it was as if the shield had been restored.
"What is this?" Alcina asked as she looked at the new shield.
"A Grand Piece like this needed special treatment." He smiled as he handed her the shield. Alcina gave him the money and was about to leave with the shield when she heard the man curse, she turned to see him looking at an empty tea canister.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.
"I ran out of my tea. That was the last canister I had and the peddler who sells me the tea won't be back until the end of the month." The man said as he tossed the empty canister into the trash.
"Blacksmith..." Alcina called out causing the man to look at her, "I have a few varieties of tea - would you like to accompany me to Castle Dimitrescu?" She asked. The man looked at for a while before smiling and nodding his head with a bow as he began to close up shop and follow the tall woman to the grand castle that overshadowed his small shop.
That's how it all began - [Y/N] would be invited to Castle Dimitrescu whenever he had a free day or Alcina would go to the shop whenever she was bored or just wanted to see the Blacksmith; they visited each other so often that [Y/N] made Alcina her own chair to sit on so she wouldn't stand for so long & Alcina made a guest room for the mortal man.
When [Y/N] met the daughters - he showed no fear and smiled at them, regardless of the feral grins on their faces. When he learned of Alcina's need for blood, he offered himself as her donor and his blood was the sweetest thing she had ever tasted. The daughters loved it when the human came over - they would run to greet him when one of them saw him coming.
Soon enough - Alcina and the Human came more than friends, they were living in the same castle, sharing the same bed, and the human's last name was added to the great name of Dimitrescu.
[End]

Author’s Note: ahhhhh I loved this so much!! What i wouldn’t give to live in the castle with these ladies omg. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Requested: by anon, I'm a bit dumb ahahahahaha but I had a small idea about reader being a maiden of the castle but instead of ending up as all the others, Lady D fells for her and idk it sounds silly to me, if you don't like that idea I'm completely okay with the headcanons, idk I trust you completely 💖💖
Summary: the request
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director/creator
(not my gif)
Tumblr media
Mother Miranda shoved you into Castle Dimitrescu the second she saw you. She muttered something about how Alcina was getting rid of maids and food too quickly. You had come from outside the village and didn’t know much about the place you had ended up.
Truth be told you were just trying to get on for a nature walk and then you ended up in a village. That’s what you get for straying too far. You were exhausted, alone and without any kind of cell service. The woman, Mother Miranda, took a quick look at you and then pushed you into a huge castle.
That surprised you. You didn’t think there were people in castles anymore.
Confusion spread over you even further when you were handed clothes by the other maidens in the castle. You looked around eagerly, searching for an answer to where you were.
“Is there a phone here?” you asked quietly to the woman who was giving you clothes. She shook her head quickly.
“You’re not from the village are you?” she asked. She looked to be about your age but her hair was graying from the roots. Something was weighing her down, that was for sure.
“No I was walking and then....I drove too far up and couldn’t find a trail…”
“Well you better get used to it here. You’ll die here.” Her voice sounded so calm that you almost thought she was joking. But she didn’t laugh.
“Excuse me?”
“The mistress here will kill you and if she doesn’t, her daughters will.” You scoffed as she started to take off the strap of your shirt.
“Hey hey!”
“Just put these on,” she said, sighing. She sounded a little bit scared, but only a tad. You grabbed the clothes and nodded, turning around. You were in a small room that you had to guess was the servants quarters. How old was this place? You quickly got undressed and put on the clothes that she had given you. All black, knee length dress. Typical maids outfit. How did you get yourself into this?
“What are their names? What do they look like? What’s your name?”
“I’m Celeste. They took me from the village a couple of months ago. The tallest one, the lady of the house, is Alcina Dimitrescu. Her daughters are Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela. The girls are made of bugs…they..drink blood,” her voice was shivering now. You scoffed.
“Vampires? Made of blood? Come on now Celeste you can’t really believe in that?” She gestured to the door.
“You’ll see soon enough. Just do as they say. Even then you might get killed.”
=====
You just walked around the castle, waiting until one of the supposed vampires found you. Bela was the one who saw you first.
“Who are you?” If you hadn’t seen her come out of thin air from bugs, you wouldn’t have believed it. You stumbled back, gasping. She looked you up and down, circling you. “One of the new madeins?”
“Uh...yes. Yes. I’m Y/N.”
“Bela Dimitrescu. Have you met my mother?” You shook your head quickly, circling around and watching her watch you.
“No, I haven’t. You’re the first of the family I’ve seen.” She nodded, stopping in front of you and grabbing your arm.
“All of the maidens have to meet my mother before they die. And I’m terribly hungry.” You shivered and let her drag you up the main stairwell. You looked around at the beautiful architecture. It wouldn’t be too bad to live there. It was gorgeous and regal.
She took you down the hall and then up another stairwell. She knocked on the door of one of the many rooms. You waited wordlessly and nervously.
“Come in,” a voice said. Even the voice sounded regal. Bela opened the door and pushed you inside.
“A new maiden!”
Alcina turned around in her chair. Your eyes went wide. She was gorgeous. Her dark lips turned up to a smile and she held her hand out, gesturing for you to come forward. You gulped and took a couple steps to her, wondering if she could truly feel your heart beating in your chest.
“What’s your name?” she asked kindly.
“Y/N.”
“Not a local?” she hummed. You shook your head gently. She nodded, grabbing your arm and then tracing her fingers down your arm, examining you. “You’ll do nicely. Don’t kill her Bela.”
“But mother!”
“Not yet. Have Celeste show her the rounds, she will do Elizabeth's old route.” Bela groaned but nodded.
“Fine.”
“I will be seeing you Y/N. I’m Alcina Dimitrescu, by the way.” You wanted to say something like ‘I figured’ but you bit your tongue. Bela grabbed your arm and led you out
=====
You spent the next couple of days doing the things that Celeste told you to do and anything the daughters wanted as well. You cleaned, helped them dress when they were feeling lazy, got people in for them to feed on.
But you didn’t see Alcina.
You would go outside of her room and clean outside but you never were allowed to go in. Celeste would clean her bathroom and bedroom. Sometimes you would hear her speak and you would strain to listen.
Celeste walked up to you, out of breath and dripping with sweat.
“Go clean Lady Dimitrescu’s room,” she said. You were scrubbing the floor on the main hall but stopped when her words registered.
“What?”
“I...Daniella...just go.” She grabbed your arm and shoved you away. Then she ran back into one of the rooms. You took a deep breath and briskly walked up the stairs to Alcinas room. You stepped in front of it and took a deep breath, holding your things.
What if she screamed at you the second you went in? What if she killed you on sight?
Better yet, what if you got to see her?
You knocked on the door and then opened it a bit.
“Lady Dimitrescu, Celeste is indisposed and has sent me to clean your room,” you said before fully entering. Alcina was sitting at her vanity and turned to look at you. Clearly something was wrong. She slammed the phone down and nodded civilly.
“Go ahead Y/N.”
You walked in and started to make her bed. She was still breathing heavily from whatever phone conversation she had been having. You glanced over at her a couple of times then decided to risk speaking.
“Are you alright?” you asked, voice quiet. She turned to you and nodded stiffly.
“Mother Miranda asks a lot of us because she knows we can handle it,” she said proudly but there was a little bit of exhaustion in her voice.
“I don’t want to overstep, but I think maybe you deserve a break,” you said, putting her pillows down. She thought about it for a moment, staring at you. No one asked her how she was doing. Mother Miranda wanted to know how the girls were, how the experiments had gone.
“I’m perfectly fine thank you.” You nodded quickly.
“I mean, of course you are. I’m sorry.” You turned and started to wipe down the other things in her room .
Alcina watched as you worked.
“How did you end up in the village?” she asked. You were surprised she still wanted to talk to you. You thought you were dead.
“Well, I was trying to take a hike but I drove too far away and then went off the trails...somehow I ended up here,” you said honestly. She nodded a bit, formally like she had to be formal in front of you.
“I suppose you regret that now.”
“I wouldn’t say I regret it. Your home is beautiful. You and your daughters seem civil. It’s at least interesting.” She nodded a bit at your words.
“Thank you.” You smiled at her, holding your wash rag to your chest.
“Of course.” You quickly turned back and finished cleaning up the room. She let you move without any protest.
====
You were eating some of the food provided by the family when Celeste approached you. This confused you because usually she was cleaning while you were eating and vice versa.
“Lady Dimitrescu wants you to clean her room from now on.” She sounded a little antsy as she spoke. You stopped chewing.
“Really? Why?”
“I have no idea.” You nodded and put your food down.
“Then I should probably go now right?” you asked. She nodded and you stood up, brushing off your clothes. “Well then I’ll be upstairs if you need me. Oh and Daniella is in a mood so watch out for her.”
Celeste nodded and you walked up to Alcinas room. She was standing up, walking out onto the balcony. You weren’t sure you had ever seen her standing. She was quite tall. You tried not to let on your surprise.
You started to get to work without speaking to her but she interrupted you.
“Have you seen the view?” You looked up.
“No. No I haven’t.” She gestured for you to come out to the balcony. You walked outside and stood beside her, looking down at the village below. You hadn’t gotten a chance to see it well when you were done there, you were whisked away so quickly.
“Wonderful view isn’t it?” she asked. You nodded.
“It is actually.” You leaned over the edge a tad, looking at how high up you were. “This castle is so big.”
“It was my familys. I got it...before the girls,” she told you.
“Well I’m happy to keep it clean.” She laughed a bit. It was a hearty laugh, matching her voice perfectly, you couldn’t help but notice.
“I don’t think anyone’s ever been happy to clean the castle before.”
“Proud to be the first then Lady Dimitrescu.” You laughed as well, leaning against the stone.
“Alcina, please.” You smiled and nodded. She watched you, a smile on her face as you laughed and felt a swell in her heart. Quickly she recognized the feeling. Admiration.
She cleared her throat.
“You should get to it,” she said, all business once more. You nodded and turned back to her room.
====
Celeste died a couple of days later. New people came. New people died.
A couple of months in, you were starting to wonder why you were still alive. Everyone that came in as a maiden died except you and you couldn’t figure out for the life of you why. Not that you were complaining.
Cassandra approached you. You were pretty familiar with each of them, as they were with you. You were standing in the library, putting some books back. You had never seen any of the daughters read them, you thought.
“How come you’re still alive?” she asked, sitting down in one of the big chairs. You turned to her.
“I was just wondering the same thing.”
“Everyone else dies in a month, tops. Not you though. I keep asking mother and asking and asking and she keeps saying no,” Cassandra said.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Bela came into the room, materializing out of her bugs. “Mother has a crush on her.” Cassandra scoffs.
“Does mother even know what a crush is?”
“Oh sure. She has to, everyone does,” Daniela said, appearing as well. You were rarely in the room with all three of them.
“Do you like her?” Cassandra asked. All three of them turned to look at you. You were caught off guard.
“Uh I suppose so,” you muttered. Bela clapped her hands. “Sounds like a plan! Set her up with mother!” You shook your head.
“She’ll...she’ll crush me!” you whispered screamed. Cassandra rolled her eyes.
“You’ll live.”
====
Bela shoved you into Alcinas room. She was walking out of the bathroom. She raised her eyebrow at the sight of you.
“You aren’t usually here at this time,” she observed.
“Your daughters are standing outside the door with their ears pressed against it hoping that you admit your love for me,” you whispered nervously. She raised both eyebrows. She felt a put in her stomach at you speaking of her love so nonchalantly and then she realized that you truly didn’t believe them.
“Do you believe I’m in love with you?” she asked, amusingly. You cleared your throat nervously.
“I don’t know. I suppose you like me at least. I’ve gone through like three rotations of maidens,” you said. “But I would never assume that you would like me. You’re a goddess.”
She smiled and sat down on her vanity chair. You were almost eye to eye. She gestured for you to come forward and you did. She grabbed your hand and held it. Alcina took a deep breath.
“I do like you, more than I care to admit,” she said evenly. You realized after a second that she was waiting for you to respond.
“I like you too! A lot! You’re gorgeous and funny and...I love your house,” you admitted. She laughed.
“So it’s settled? You’ll stay?”
“I had a chance to go?” you asked in awe. She shrugged.
“I would have let you, had you asked. Do you...want to go?” You didn’t even have to think about it.
“No. I would like to stay.” She smiled brightly and nodded.
“Perhaps you could be more than a maiden, if that pleases you.” You nodded.
“It would. Although I don’t know if anyone else will clean to my standards,” you admitted. Alcina smiled.
“I’ll have the girls get you new clothing. You can be in charge of the maidens.” You nodded happily.
“That would be wonderful Alcina. You’re wonderful.” You paused for a moment, took a deep breath and kissed her. She was caught off guard and started to retract her nails but stopped quickly. When you pulled away you had her lipstick print on your lips. She pursed her lips and then smiled.
“You look wonderful.”
Bela fell through the door. Alcina stood up quickly, claws out in surprise.
“I told you not to lean on the door handle!” Cassandra hissed.
“It was Daniela!” Bela screeched standing. You supreseseed your laughter.
“Girls while you're here, why don't you go get Y/N some regular clothing yes?” Alcina suggested. They turned and nodded, smiles on their faces.
“We would love to!”
“Then go girls and leave us alone.”
The girls skipped away and Alcina smiled softly at you.

Pairing (Mother Miranda x Spartan!Reader)
Rating (T)
Word Count (1.9k)
Warning (Language)
You spend your morning with Alcina and her daughters while Miranda deals with Karl and Village business.
By the time the sun had begun to peak over the mountains you'd already made yourself at home on one of the balconies of the castle with a woven basket full of croissants and mason jar full of freshly squeezed orange juice. You'd been snooping in the kitchen looking for a snack when you found the partially hidden side door. It was shielded by produce crates and bags of potatoes—you guessed it was an old service door or something, and it was probably what the help around the castle used to sneak around the castle grounds while their Mistress sleeps.
You certainly did. You took a trip to town on a whim and you were bored. You didn't have anything on you in terms of currency but you weren't one to rely on some currency to get you by as there was always a favor or two to be traded. New era, same tricks and it never failed you once. Most of the village was still asleep when you strolled through but the few farmers you saw tending to their stocks gave you less than friendly looks but you didn't take any offense. You were new and places like this didn't take too kindly to a new face, especially a young new face.
Hell, the woman in the bakery shop by the church wasn't very fond of you either until you revealed that you understood every word that she said. She turned into a different person and suddenly you weren't much of a stranger anymore, by her standards anyway.
By the time you found your way back to castle Dimitrescu, you had bruised knuckles, a basket full of goodies you probably shouldn't be eating and a decent knife now warming the holster in your boot. It wasn't tactical or as balanced as you liked but you felt a hell of a lot better with it than you did a few hours ago without it.
You had no idea who's bedroom you'd invaded to get to the balcony though you didn't really care, you saw a plush chair that was only just covered in ice and the cushions were only just a little wet, shockingly.
And that is exactly how Alcina found you, and she wasn't alone. Trailing behind her bundled up even more than you with the hood pulled up over her blonde head was a young woman with eyes that matched Alcina's. Curious that she didn't get her mother's height though—she was probably around your height, give or take.
“You missed breakfast, dear.”
“Didn't think you'd send a hunting party for me,” you smiled but in truth you hadn't realized how much time had passed since you got back to the castle. Between stuffing your face full of bread you hadn't really had in years and well, yeah, you definitely lost track of time. Thankfully there were still a few pastries left in the basket for you to offer to Alcina and who you assumed to be one of her daughters.
The girl's eyes hadn't left you since she first saw you—you knew when you were being studied but for the moment, you were too tired to actually care but not tired enough to drop your guard with these people.
Alcina waved away your offering as she took a seat in the other chair, obviously as unbothered by it's less than ideal conditions as you were but her daughter graciously scooped up a buttered croissant before leaning against the rail, her back to the gorgeous view behind her. She was probably used to seeing it and you certainly weren't a stranger to such joys either but you never really grew bored of them.
“(Y/n), this is Bela, my eldest daughter. Also my successor should anything ever happen to me.”
“Mother, stop it. Nothing will ever happen to you.” You watched as Bela ducked her head, but she wasn't blushing, she turned to you, pushing the hood back from her face slightly but she didn't say anything.
Alcina pulled her cigar holder from somewhere on her dress she was currently wearing, and pointed down at the basket sitting on the small table between you three, “It's not safe to roam around on these roads at night.”
You shrugged, “I can take care of myself, Lady Dimitrescu. A few wolves don't really scare me.”
“There are far worse things out there than death, (Y/n).”
You scoffed, laughing a bit much to the dismay and surprise of the Lady and her daughter, “I've been around long enough to know how true and wise that statement is, but I'm far too old to be scared by it anymore.”
Bela looked at you curiously, “But you don't look a day over thirty, (Y/n).”
You bit back another laugh, picking at the pastry still sitting on the napkin on your thigh. Well. You weren't going to be getting any answers if you didn't give any yourself. “Who do you think Miranda got her skin care treatment from?”
You looked up when the other two balcony occupants were quiet for too long and you realized that they were both staring at you with equally unreadable but different expressions. Though Alcina's hat always made it impossible for you, or anyone else, to gauge her moods and reactions.
“What?”
“You're being serious?” Bela asked, both of her eyebrows disappearing beneath her loose hair.
“Yeah, seriously. I met Miranda back when she was ruling her first kingdom. She thought I was a fucking Viking for the longest time.” Miranda is going to murder you and find a way to make it permanent.
“You're joking. Mother, the mortal is joking...isn't she?”
“Mortal?” you finished your breakfast and wiped away the crumbs, “I haven't been called mortal for a very long time, but now that we've all established that no one on this balcony is of average stock...”
“We can really talk.” Alcina finished as you trailed off, taking a very long and heavy drag while giving you another once over, slower this time as if she was going to find the answers to whatever she was wanting to know. She glanced at her daughter and sighed when she saw her starting to tremble a bit.
“Bela go inside and get your sisters.” Alcina said softly but her tone still held no room for argument and you could tell that Bela wanted to protest against her mothers wishes, “Have tea prepared and brought to the study.”
“For everyone?”
Alcina smiled a bit, “Yes, dear, for everyone.”
When Bela was around the corner and well out of earshot, Alcina brought her attention back to you. And you looked back, waiting for her to ask or say what was on her mind.
“What era?”
“The Peloponnesian war. I'm the last living Spartan on Earth.”
Miranda neatly folded away the paper the moment she heard the ceremony doors opening. Miranda sighed heavily when she heard Karl’s mouth down the corridor—the man's need to chatter (and argue) never ceased and Miranda was positive she would be leaving this meeting with a migraine. She'd rather be doing something more productive with her time…working on her own research, cracking you like an egg or maybe even trying a new recipe for a change.
It wasn't long before Karl burst through the doors, his prized hammer resting on his shoulders and a cigar between his teeth and in his other hand was a satchel that was holding something it wasn't designed to carry. The grin he wore grew when his eyes landed on her and Miranda sighed inaudibly behind her mask.
“Well,” he purred, sitting on the bench he normally claimed and set his hammer down next to it, “If it isn't the woman of the hour! How kind of you to meet with me today.”
Miranda didn't care too much for his charming tone—his charisma was impressive but Miranda had never been a true fan of it, and Alcina outright hated him forcing Miranda to often play the role of a mediator every time there was a faction meeting which almost always ended in chaos and bloodshed. Thankfully it was only once or twice out of the month unless it was an emergency.
“Your message said that you have something of importance to show me, Lord Heisenberg, get on with it.”
“Oh, someone's testy today,” he mumbled under his breath but just loud enough for her to catch his words and Miranda's jaw clenched, “As requested, one head of a troublesome villager only searching for his beloved little girl. Maybe do your job and tell that supersized bitch to keep her brats on a leash next time.”
The satchel landed on the floor at Miranda's feet. Miranda's eyes narrowed in his direction, barely glancing at the satchel that narrowly missed touching her, and Karl felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise alarmingly fast, “Do not forget your place here, Heisenberg.”
Karl snarled but he quickly conceded—he's proved himself to be the biggest Alpha in the region time and time again but he wasn't stupid enough to think that he could challenge Miranda evenly. Miranda relented, accepting his surrender but she didn't buy it, she never did.
“All I'm sayin' is that we don't hunt in the village for this very reason—”
“I understand that, Heisenberg. And it's been taken care of. Lady Dimitrescu will see that it never happens again.”
Karl grumbled but thankfully he didn't push, this time, “There's something else too that I think you should know. There's a stranger in the village, probably owns that cute little camp my lycans tore apart a few miles outside of town.”
That caught Miranda's interest though she did not let it show—it wouldn't do to have a man like Karl have even the slightest bit of leverage over her. He was still too useful for her to kill.
“A stranger?”
“Yeah,” he smirked, relighting his cigar and taking a long pull, “Tall, real tall and quite a looker too...I'm here to officially claim her. If she's as tough as she looks, I'll—”
Miranda's wings fluttered when those words left his hairy lips, he didn't have to go into detail for her to know who he was talking about and Miranda felt the edges of her claws trying to grow beneath the veil of her dark wings.
“No.”
“No!?” he sat up quickly, setting both of his feet down on the ground, “What do you mean no?! Aren't those your laws for fresh meat?!”
“Yes, and that woman is off limits. Defy my word, it will not end well for you. If that is all Lord Heisenberg, I will see you this Friday at the faction meeting.”
“You gave her to that zombie in the castle didn't you!” he called after her when Miranda transformed into a flock of birds and left through the rafters.
Karl pulled his hammer to him as he jumped to his feet and he destroyed the bench he was previously sitting on but Miranda was already gone by the time the splinters where she had once stood, “I never get anything nice around here! Always scraps this and scraps that ever since that bitch took over!” he turned and threw his hammer, nearly slicing a pillar in half and he was half transformed before he caught himself.
Karl dusted himself off with one hand while the other brought another cigar from an inside pocket of his oil stained coat and picked up his hammer on the way out of the ceremony room, his temper simmering down. He took one last look at the damage he caused, and smirked.
“Have fun cleaning this up, mother. ” He didn't care what she said, the woman in the village he saw this morning was his game.

Crimson Ties (Bela Dimitrescu/Reader, Soulmate AU) Pt. 1
Fandom: Resident Evil: Village Rating: T for language and mild medical drama Warnings: Brief depictions of medical treatments for blood loss and its symptoms Genre: Hurt + comfort Summary: Bela has always wondered who her soulmate was, the person she was connected to by red string. When she finally meets them, she's devastated to find them hanging in her basement, being drained of blood. But her soulmate won't die- not if she can do something about it. Notes: Soulmate AU in which people have a red thread tied to their left ring finger (or elsewhere if missing the finger/hand), which connects to their soulmate. By default the string is taut/tight, only getting loose when the pair is relatively close to each other.
1: Stem The Flow
How long had she waited for this day? How long had Bela monitored the red string tied to her hand, waiting for it to be anything other than taut? A decade, at the least, if not two or more. For so long she had dreamt of her soulmate, albeit discreetly, wondering about every facet of their being. Entire days had been spent imagining them, and how they would come into her life. Sometimes, on those days, she would gently tug her end of the thread. Every single time, without fail, her soulmate had returned the motion. It warmed her heart more than she’d ever admit, to know that her excitement was not one-sided.
At times, it did worry her, the feelings in her chest reminding her of her youngest sister. Daniela was obsessed with love, dangerously so, to the point of being downright delusional. More than once her “affections” had gotten their family into some sort of trouble. No matter how mature Bela considered herself to be, there was a part of her that worried about repeating her sister’s mistakes. What if her excitement about her partner led her to overlook something crucial? What if the person in question posed a threat to her family? How easy would it be, then, for her to cut them off?...
Today, perhaps, she would find out.
The sun had set over the Romanian landscape, and with the moon rose the Dimitrescu household. First out of bed, as always, Bela wasted no time in getting dressed. Hazy visions of her fading dreams clouded her mind, tugging on her thoughts as always. Most days they felt more like memories than anything else. Today, they are quieter than usual, easily fading into the background. When the last traces of her grogginess disperse, Bela finds herself glancing at her left hand. It’s a daily habit, although discreet, that always leaves her with bittersweet feelings.
“Wait…” Bela whispered, as her eyes took in the unexpected sight: The red string of fate, tied to her left ring finger, loose as can be. It trails to the ground, coiled a single time, before heading underneath her door. “Am I dreaming?” She does not bother to pinch herself to check. Instead she practically jumps into her shoes, dashing out of her room with unfamiliar glee. Maidens in the hallways have to leap aside to avoid her, but she does not care, for once ignoring the standards her mother had instilled in her. If her sisters could be chaotic, we couldn’t she?
So she follows the thread, eagerly, without even wondering why it was so loose. No, she didn’t think about the implications of the situation. In her mind, it did not matter why her soulmate was finally within her reach, it simply mattered that they were. Soon enough they would be in her arms, safe, with nothing else to bother them. And then she’d be happy, finally having someone she was on equal terms with. Finally having someone to confide in, to cherish, to whisper sweet nothings to in the dead of the night.
She doesn’t hesitate until she finds the string wrapped around the door to the basement. At last the signs click together in her mind, like a conspiracy board bound with crimson ties. Instantly panic replaces whatever excitement she had been feeling. Then she’s abandoning all sense of caution, throwing open the door and rushing forward, dispersing into a swarm to cover more ground. Even if she could no longer see the thread in this form, she was certain that she’d know exactly who her soulmate was when she saw them.
And, well, she does. Something calls her to the far corner of the main room, where a body was suspended from the ceiling by its hands. An all-too-familiar needle was sticking out of the person’s arm, leading down to a large glass container, which was slowly filling with blood. The scent made Bela’s nostrils flare, and her eyes go wide, but she did her best to fight against her instincts. Quickly she gets to her knees, examining the jar to see how full it was. Most of the measurement lines were faded, having been worn out over time, making it harder to estimate the volume. In the end, Bela guessed that the container could fit just over six liters inside. Which meant that the person had lost close to… two and a half. That was bad- behind bad, really. Horrible, actually. Immediately life threatening to the point of having been life threatening before Bela had even woken up.
“Don’t die on me, please,” she half cried half shouted, jumping into action as best as she knew how. Not even bothering to turn the nozzle on the device, she pulls the needle out of her soulmate’s arm, cursing when more blood rushes out of the hole. Then she’s applying pressure, hard as she can, beyond glad that they weren’t awake for this. One hand goes to tear a piece of fabric off of their shirt. Hopefully they wouldn’t mind, all things considered. Next, Bela ties the cloth around the collection point, making less of a tourniquet and more of a generic bandage. “Shit, you need a transfusion, don’t you?... Fuck, fuck, what’s your blood type?”
Knowing that she wouldn’t be getting a verbal answer any time soon, Bela settled for dipping a finger into the jar, bringing it to her lips, and licking. The difference in taste among blood types was subtle, but she was nothing if not a professional at this point. Still, the type is not immediately clear to her, and she knows that she might have to go around licking more blood from other prisoners. Unless… could someone receive a transfusion of their own blood? Such a thing had never happened at the castle before, but there was a first time for everything.
“Hold on, I’ll figure this out, somehow, I promise,” Bela said, gently taking her patient’s hand in her own. Taking your hand.
When you wake, you find yourself among the softest sheets you have ever felt, as if laying on clouds themselves. But your vision is blurred, and your head is besieged by waves of pain. A whimper makes its way past your lips. For a moment all you can do is tense up, unsure of any detail of your situation, unable to discern anything around you. Then you feel a hand on your own, squeezing gently. Something about it sends a rush of comfort throughout your entire body. Still, you are more confused than anything, and you find yourself trying to sit up out of instinct.
Without warning the hand lets you go, only for the owner to shift their weight, climbing on top of you in an instant. They’re holding you down, saying words that don’t quite reach your ears. For how light they are, they manage to put an impressive amount of pressure on you, easily rendering you immobile. Unfortunately, this position does little to ease your anxiety. The last thing you could remember was a very, very tall lady sticking a needle in your arm with a cruel laugh. Based on how you felt, there was still a needle in your arm. But you had been standing, or hanging, before, and now you were on your back.
“Whathe… wha the ‘ell… can’t 'hink,” you muttered, stumbling over your own tongue. Whoever sits on top of you tries to comfort you, running a hand through your hair. “Who are you?” You asked, even though you couldn’t understand a word this person said. Their voice might as well have been in another language, with the way your addled brain processed it. Had you lost too much blood? Or maybe you had a concussion? “I just. I just wanted to meet them. Please, I jus… I just wanna see my soulmate.”
Again, you cannot understand what the person says in response, but they finally seem to understand this. One of their hands reaches out and grabs your left one, slowly tapping your fingers, one by one. When they reach your ring finger, they pause, gently holding it. For a few moments you’re left even more confused. Then, with a surge of warmth in your chest, the dots are connected. Whoever is with you quietly grabs the thread attached to your finger, before tugging gently. In order for them to do that… well, there was only one explanation. They were your soulmate. They were the one you had gone to this accursed castle to meet. Somehow they had saved you, and everything was finally looking up.
Mind clearing slowly, you’re finally able to understand something they- or she, as far as you can tell- say.
“Rest now, my beloved. You are safe in my care, this I promise.”

Could you do hc’s of the Dimitrescu’s with a GN!reader who’s having a panic attack please?
Howls --
Gender Neutral! Reader
Soft! Alcina, Cassandra, Bela, and Daniela
TW! Anxiety Attack
Tumblr media
You had lived and worked in the castle for the past few years. You had been captured in the village by Lord Heisenberg, but Lady Dimitrescu had managed to save you from becoming another one of Mother Miranda's experiments. She would never tell you this, but she saw something similar to her old self in your fear-stricken face.
Your terrified eyes reminded her of when she too was alone and vulnerable. She didn't want to watch you passed around between here adoptive siblings, or even worse, see you become one of Miranda's personal experiments.
She set you up in a cozy room deep in the castle, far away from where guests were entertained.
All three of Alcina's daughters took to you immediately. They became your protectors, never allowing you to travel outside of the castle walls without at least one of them as an escort. You were just too valuable to them.
You really weren't expected to do anything around the castle, but the longer you sat around, the more you felt like a pet rather than a part of the family.
This is something you worried about a lot actually. Call it Stockholm syndrome, or whatever you want, but you couldn't help feeling the need to belong. Part of you felt like because you were still human, you weren't really a part of the family. You felt temporary, which was just reinforced by how vulnerable you were.
The howls that rang out in the cool night air never failed to fill you with fear. The lycans were getting bolder, sniffing around for prey closer and closer to the castle. You knew that Alcina and the girls wouldn't be bothered, but you didn't want to be torn to shreds.
Soon enough your nightmares were filled with flashes of your brutal death, no one around to save you.
Bela found you one night in the kitchen, curled up under the counter, shaking and sobbing. No matter what she did, your breathing never slowed, all of the blood drained out of your face.
Your panic continued as she ran screaming through the halls, calling our for her mother and sisters, telling them that something horrible was happening to you. You were still focused on the loud howls coming from outside, terrified that the beasts were going to get you.
Alcina, Cassandra and Daniela of course immediately thought that the whole fucking castle was under siege. The all came rushing to your aid. Alcina herself, after trying and failing to find the assailant put two and two together. Your sisters tried to question her when she reached down, scooping you up like a child. She simply shushed them and stroked your back, humming an unfamiliar, but extremely calming tune.
When you were able to breathe again you explained what had happened, and that you couldn't stand the lycans anymore. You just couldn't take it. You couldn't spend your nights in fear.
Alcina wiped away your tears and sent you off to bed with the girls, who piled into your bed that night, allowing you to feel truly safe for the first time in a long time. You drifted off, small smile across your exhausted face, because you knew that they cared about you. You were always a member of their family... you just needed to see it.
You didn't hear any lycans around the castle after that.

May I request the Dimitrescu family with their vicious mermaid S/O ? I genuinely enjoy your writings and look forward to more awesome works.
I had to do a double take on this because vicious?? Mermaid??
Forgive my very little knowledge of mermaids, please do blame the mouse.
But here you go, I hope you like it!
Alcina Dimitrescu / Lady Dimitrescu
Going on land was easy. Finding the right prey though was hard.
You've always preferred women in general but men were always out on sea so you decided to go on land and see... If you can finally catch a prey. One that you preferred.
You didn't count on someone recognizing you though. Particularly Karl. Who captured you within minutes.
He brought you to Alcina because a vicious mermaid certainly needs a vicious host.
You were placed on the pond on the Dimitrescu's property.
Karl had placed a metal leash on you so you wouldn't get away.
Alcina would always come and visit you. You would hide away every time and she started questioning whether you were truly vicious or not.
One day, the hunger for flesh got to you and you attacked Alcina who was going to visit you.
"Oh." She looks at you as you're trying to get to her and her bleeding hand. "That's what that man meant."
She brought some flesh and a bottle of blood for you and you immediately devoured them.
Immediately after, you said sorry and would do anything for her forgiveness, she unsheathed her claws and you thought it was the end of you but she just slashed through your leash.
She was freeing you, you couldn't believe it. Mermaids like you were rare and that was one of the reasons why you would hunt humans down.
And damn was this tall woman letting you go.
"Wait." You stand and wobble because it's been weeks since you got on land. "Why do you even have flesh and blood at your disposal??" You question and she turns to you.
"Want to find out?"
And you did, she told you everything and in return you also told her your story.
One day, Karl came to visit and make sure that you didn't escape when you were having tea with Alcina.
He counted that you would last long but damn.
What he didn't count were the two of you actually getting along and falling in love.
Bela Dimitrescu
Being a bookworm, a mermaid and a vicious murderer can be hard to balance.
It was a good thing that no one suspects a thing whenever you go to the Village to get some books to read.
A chill goes up your spine as the Dimitrescus arrive though. And damn they were regal.
You asked about them to the bookstore owner and said that they were the Dimitrescu House.
You hum as he tells stories about them.
One day, your curiousity gets the better of you and you began observing/stalking the castle.
One night, when you were waiting for people to either go out to sea or get closer to the shore, you see her.
She looked so lonely so you observed her from afar, not even noticing so many potential victims. That's when you realize.
"Oh. I'm interested in her." You don't get to kill anyone that night.
The next day, you were walking around the village, hoping to see Bela when she stumbles upon you, spilling all of her carried books.
You help her then she smiles gratefully at you.
You both introduce yourselves to each other, not knowing that between smiles were bloody personas that would even make you closer.
Cassandra Dimitrescu
One night, while you were busy killing a person, you didn't know that someone saw you.
Turns out it was Cassandra. She was waiting for a maiden to appear when she heard the screams of a man-thing.
She runs towards and sees you. You were covered in blood and smiling as you let the man bleed out beside you.
After that, she always go to the shore every night to observe you. You knew she was there since stealth isn't exactly her forte but you let her see your mermaid self.
One night, you decided to relax on the sand and just draw.
Cassandra stops in her tracks when she sees your face?? It was you but you have legs?? And you were drawing too. She tries to peek at your sketchbook but you just turn to her and she had the grace to blush.
"Care to join me?" She nods and you let her watch you as you draw your home.
Having night dates and her bringing you a bottle of blood so you could go on a night without brutally killing someone.
You laugh because you don't need the blood, you just kill when someone damages your home.
It was brutal but necessary.
You going on land to visit Castle Dimitrescu.
Her being a tour guide and being all cute as she describes all her paintings to you.
Cassandra introducing you to Alcina who approves of you.
Daniela Dimitrescu
Being a bard/storyteller has it's perks. You get to travel around the world while hiding the fact that you were both a mermaid and a vicious killer. No one suspects you since you were the mild-mannered bard who captures the hearts of those who listen to you.
Daniela was one of those hearts that you captured.
And while you were elusive, she was fast and can transform into bugs.
So, one day when you were trying to get back home and doing all the stuff you need to do so no one could see you, she was following you stealthily.
She was speechless when she sees you transform into a mermaid and just play around the water.
She watched you all day, just playing around the water when night came.
She knew she needed to go back but she wanted to see you more, to get to know you.
She was gathering her courage to approach you when she hears a scream.
She watches in awe as you cut off a man's head. You sigh.
"Fucking asshole." You grumble. "Stop polluting the ocean!"
"Wow." You turn to her and Daniela just gulps as you glare at her.
"Who are you?"
"I-" She gulps and calms herself down so she wouldn't stutter. "I'm Daniela Dimitrescu." You hum at that because you've heard about them. The DImitrescu House.
"Oh. You're part of the Vampire House." You say nonchalantly as you drag the man's body deeper into the ocean, some sharks will appreciate that. "What are you doing here?"
"I want to know you." You stop in your tracks because what?? She just saw you right? You sigh then smile.
She amuses you and you agree, not knowing, it wouldn't be long till she steals your heart.

-----
Two weeks. You’d been down in your cell for two whole weeks. Alcina hadn’t even come down to see you, only sending either Elise or Victoria to check on you and bring you your meals. You stayed facing the wall, your back to the cell as it opened.
“Y/N?” That voice didn’t belong to Elise or Victoria, it belonged to Daniela. You felt yourself tense when your name fell from her lips. “I’m… I’m not here to hurt you. I actually shouldn’t even be down here.” Daniela explained.
You still hadn’t made an effort to turn and face her. You felt the bed dip as Daniela sat down. “What do you want?” You asked, your voice soft.
Daniela sighed. “I’m sorry.” She glanced over at you before continuing. “I’m not expecting you to forgive me for what I said, but I am sorry.” Daniela said, reiterating her two worded apology. She cleared her throat before speaking again. “Mother Miranda said that the way I acted reflected badly on her and my family, I… she was disappointed in me. I’m disappointed in myself, if you can believe that.”
“I don’t.” You replied, still staring at the wall. You wanted her to leave, you wanted to be left alone. In all honesty, you wish you hadn’t run into Heisenberg that night you’d been travelling after escaping your kidnappers.
Daniela stood up from the bed. “Mother Miranda wanted me to give you these. Mother says that Mother Miranda will be visiting in a few days and she wants you to know what the high priestess looks like and how to act when she gets here. You’re to write a report and Elise or Victoria will pick it up tomorrow evening.” Daniela’s tone was now firm as opposed to earlier tone when she was apologising.
Daniela left after that, the cell door closing with a loud thud. You looked over your shoulder and found the room empty, she was really gone. When you sat up in the bed, you looked over at the table and your eyes widened before you let out a scream. The face in the photograph, you knew that face. You stood up from the bed and slowly made your way over to the picture, your hands shaking as you picked up. That was Mother Miranda? You shook your head, no no no, it couldn’t be. You dropped the picture and went over to the door. You were about to bang on it and scream for Alcina when the door creaked open a bit, Daniela hadn’t locked it, strange.
“Hello? Daniela?” You called out into the dungeon. You gulped as you took a step out of the cell, looking around to see if there were any of those ghouls lurking around, you didn’t know what they were called. You tried to remember how Lady Dimitrescu had brought you down here, but it was dark so you could barely see. You’d almost given up and was on your way back to your cell when you heard something. “Hello? Is anybody there?”
You heard a growl in response and a shiver ran down your spine. You could hear a scraping noise, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. “Please, can you help me?” You asked the surrounding darkness.
“Run!” Was suddenly screamed into your ear and it was all you needed to set you off.
You ran until you rounded a corner and found yourself face to face with those ghouls. There was little light in this part of the cellar, but you could see that some of them had swords and you gulped. You let out a scream as one of them moved toward you swinging the swords, others trying to claw at you with their sickles. One of their sickles caught your upper arm, tearing the sleeve of your shirt. You pushed past them, managing to find your way to a set of stairs that led to the kitchen area. You grimaced at all of the dead animals hanging up, looking away as you came upon a hallway that led you to a hallway where you saw a door. A door that leads to… the dining room? That was good, right? You knew the door to the right led to main hall. Mostly because you could hear voices, but you’d been through the dining room plenty of times to get to the courtyard. You opened the door slowly, seeing the Lady and her daughters talking and you gulped. You could easily sneak out the courtyard door, go to the gardens, make your way into the woods and leave, but would that really fix everything? Running away again?
“Darling, are you going to stay behind the door or would you like to join us?” A voice asked, you recognised it as Alcina’s. “And how, pray tell, did you get out of your cell?” Alcina asked, but she was looking at Daniela.
Daniela shrugged. “I locked the door, but the key must be faulty.” Daniela replied.
Alcina sighed. “I will deal with you later, Daniela. For now, go find something to do while I talk with Y/N.” Alcina ordered. The girls half swarmed away upstairs and you caught Daniela running her thumb across her neck and mouthing, “You’re dead.”, causing your eyes to widen a bit. “Did you learn your lesson?” Alcina asked.
You frowned. “You left me down there for two weeks, Alcina.” You replied. “Two whole fucking weeks and you didn’t even check on me. And then you send Daniela down there and she fucking gives me a picture of Mother Miranda.” Her name left a bitter taste in your mouth.
“And what about Mother Miranda, dearest?” Alcina asked with a raised eyebrow.
You let out a small sigh. “She’s the one… that was holding me captive. I escaped from her.” You replied.
Alcina hummed. “Impossible. You said you’d been walking for days before you go to the village and Mother Miranda resides here so you must be mistaken.” Alcina said.
“I’m not mistaken, Alcina! She’s the one that I escaped from and I had been walking for days before I ran into Heisenberg.” You argued. You shook your head. “I don’t feel safe here anymore, Alcina.” You said quietly.
“Come here,” Alcina commanded and you went to stand in front of her. “I told you, you are safe here, not anywhere else. Do you understand?” You nodded your head. “Despite your words, you will remain in this Castle, under my protection. I won’t let anyone harm you, and I definitely won’t let Mother Miranda get her hands on you again. Is that clear?” You nodded your head again. “You poor dear, you were down there for an awfully long time. I suppose I should explain why.”
You looked up at her. “Explain why?” You questioned. ”I thought you didn’t…” Your sentence trailed off.
“Didn’t what? Didn’t care?” You chewed on your lip. “Of course I care, darling, that’s why I had you down there. To put it simple, there was… an incident that needed to be tended to and it was best for you to be down there than up here.” Alcina explained.
“What happened?” You asked.
Alcina shook her head. “Nothing to concern that beautiful brain of yours with. Now, why don’t we get you all cleaned up and fed, yes?” She suggested and you nodded your head. You let out a small yelp when she picked you up. “I’m terribly sorry that you had to be down there for so long, perhaps it was a bit cruel of me to subject you to that part of your punishment.” Alcina said as she carried you to the bathroom in her chambers.
“The report?” You asked, suddenly remembering what Daniela told you. Alcina hummed in acknowledgment but didn’t say anything. “Daniela said-“
Alcina cut you off. “Just because Daniela claims that I said something doesn’t mean it’s true. She may have learned her lesson with how she treated you, but it doesn’t mean you’re automatically off her bad side.” Alcina said. “Now, you take your time in here, and I will have Natalie bring you something to eat, I’m sure the two of you have much to catch up on, dear.” Alcina didn’t leave room for you to reply as she exited the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.
You didn’t know how long you stayed in the bath for, but by the time you opened your eyes, the water was cold. Stepping out and drying yourself off, you made your way into the bedroom to find Natalie tidying the room up while a tray of food sat on a nearby table.
“Y/N, I’m so glad you’re alright!” Natalie exclaimed. You smiled at her and sat in front of the tray to eat. “So much happened while you were down there. Did the Lady tell you about it?” Natalie asked. You shook your head. “Oh. Well then, I better not speak on it, she might have my head for it.” Natalie said with a small laugh. “The Lady wanted me to tell you to meet her in her study after you’re done eating.”
You nodded your head. “Yeah, okay.” You replied. The two of you sat in silence while you mostly played with your food before deciding that you’d had enough. “I’ll um, I’ll see you around, Nat.” You said as she took the tray from the room.
“Try not to get put in the cellar again. It was very lonely without you around to nag at me.” Natalie said before leaving the bedroom.
You dressed before making your way down a few hallways before coming to Alcina’s study, knocking and only entering when she told you you could. “Natalie sa-“ She put a finger to her lips to quiet you before gesturing for you to sit down.
“Yes, Heisenberg, I am well aware of that now.” Alcina replied before sighing. “If you could just… Heisenberg, listen carefully, whatever you have planned, just keep it under wraps.” Alcina said. “Yes, I know. She did? Mother told you? Well, what about me?” Alcina questioned. Her brows furrowed. “Heisenberg we will continue this discussion another time.” Alcina replied. “Yes, you may come over, but if you bring any of your disgusting mutts here, I will not hesitate to turn them into skewers, do you understand?”Alcina threatened. “Good.” Was all she said before hanging up.
“What did he say?” You asked, shifting a bit in your seat.
Alcina shook her head. “Not now, darling. You’ll know what’s going on in due time.” Alcina replied. “I need you in here be-“ Alcina found herself being cut off by the arrival of her daughter, Daniela. “Because of her.” Alcina said, gesturing toward Daniela.
Daniela crossed her arms. “What is that rat doing here, Mother?” Alcina raised her eyebrow. “Sorry, Mother.”
“You two will be… getting better acquainted before the arrival of Mother Miranda.” Alcina said. “I won’t hear any excuses as to why you don’t want, Daniela. Besides, you’re to make sure Y/N feels safe here in our Castle. This is a much their home as it is yours.” Alcina explained. “And with some new information I received, you and your sisters will remain with Y/N at all times until I feel as if you don’t need to. You all may take turns watching them, but do try to give them as much space as possible.”
“At all times?” You asked.
Alcina nodded her head. “Yes. Excluding when you’re sleeping as you’ll be with me.” Alcina replied. “Any other questions?”
“Why do we have to babysit Y/N?” Daniela asked.
“Because Daniela, it is for their own safety.” Alcina answered. “If you wish to know more about the situation then ask Y/N about it. Until then, you both will need to write letters to each apologising for your actions. You’re dismissed.” Daniela opened her mouth to protest but closed it immediately because of the look her Mother gave her. “Deliver the news to your sisters, thank you. And take Y/N with you. You two can work in the library and I will be by later to check on what you have written so far.” Alcina said before fussing over her paperwork.
“Alcina?” She hummed. “Thank you.” You said quietly before rounding the table and kissing her on the cheek. “I really appreciate you making the effort to make sure that I feel safer in the Castle and hopefully with time I can gain Daniela’s trust.” You gave her a small smile and wave before exiting the study, running to catch up with Daniela who had left you behind.
Alcina let out a sigh, rubbing her temples. She couldn’t necessarily overpower Mother Miranda on her own, but if she could make you feel safer, protect you, and have you be grateful for that then she could accept that until she could take down Mother Miranda for the hell she put you through.
