#But it's waaaaay funnier to imagine a tiny trying to stab someone x100 their size with a toothpick because they're talking to THEIR macro

Macro Tropes: Yandere
I don't get why Yandere Macro isn't more popular in the Macro community. It's honestly the perfect way for a macro story to go, because while gentle stories are wholesome and all, they can't really do much with the power dynamic, meanwhile cruel macro stories can have some exiting scenes, but after awhile there's nothing left but cartoonish levels of cruelty. Like, they're two inches tall, if you don't like them that much just toss them outside already.
But a Yandere macro? There's the sweet spot. Because on one hand the tiny gets to be absolutely smothered with affection, being held and kissed with lips as big as they are, or cuddled in a sea of soft skin and warm blankets as a powerful voice from above tells them how much you mean to them. But on the other hand the fact that this macro loves you so much is also the most dangerous part. Because not only are you not allowed to leave them, but also they're not afraid to scare the shit out of you to make you do what they want.
Plus there's no promise they won't take drastic measures to make sure you don't escape, like keeping you in a glass jar when they're not around or even using their house sized fingers to break your legs like twigs. Not to mention the possibility of being emotionally immature enough to hurt you on a whim, giving genuine steaks to any story at any moment.
They're also perfect antagonists, because it's believable that they could actually have a win, because the threat of the story being that the tiny being crushed under a careless macro or eaten by ants could be very closed ended and kinda anticlimactic. But the tiny being captured by a macro that just wants to keep them and smother them for the rest of their tiny life? That makes both for a perfectly tragic end or a genuinely interesting start to another part of the story.
