Oh yeah!!! Crime and Punishment 2007 Subtitles went through on Dailymotion!!

Just the first episode but i will be doing the rest now :) either way I probably will have a zip file of all of them laying around by the end of it...

Little ramble of what I did under the cut we-he

What was it I did? Basically took the DVD rips of the subtitles, tweaked them, and added in parts that weren't translated for some reason with the help of Youtubes subtitles- The dialogue is mostly pretty accurate to something said in the book!

I did do my best but there could be SOME awkward bits... I am but one guy, unprofessional... Looking back I wish i took a few extra steps for consistency of how the subtitles show up but its nothing distracting I'm sure I'm just insane. Finding what looked best, lalala...

I also tried to slightly bump up quality which gets... a little lost, since it had to be compressed enough to fit onto video sharing websites. Might try and throw these up on vimeo... we'll see. But I think it results in a bit of a better quality regardless. I also did a litttleeee bit of color grading, this is just due to me finding the original choices ... odd... Very sepia and warm- it's nothing DRASTIC, a lot of people didn't quite catch it it seems. But its there~ It's just more subdued! I feel like it fits the tone better...

In the future I'd prefer to NOT have the subtitles burned in but I was trying everything I could to get it past youtube... I suppose it's okay though...
