if you could go back to school, would you? In a heartbeat. If I were born a billionaire in real life, I would have/would still spend my time being a perpetual scholar, taking any and every class that ever interested me.

can you parallel park? Nope. I actually don't even know how to drive.

do you think aliens are real? Look, man. I'm not saying I've seen some things, but I've definitely seen some things™. I also believe in supernatural entities, fyi.

can you drive a manual car? re: parallel parking. After getting into a car accident literally every time I've ever tried to learn how to drive, I figure the Powers that Be are trying to send me a message. The last time banged up my knee and contributed to it trying to currently enact the Great Escape from my body almost on the daily.

what's your guilty pleasure? Pasta and home made bread {despite medical reasons to just...not.} I love specialty coffee drinks, socks, and stuffed animals. Also...doomscrolling tic.tok and you.tube when I should be writing or dishes or...really most other things.

tattoos?  None, though I have ear and nose piercings.

favourite colour? Green, Silver, Black.

do you like puzzles? Jigsaw puzzles, word searches, crosswords, interactive puzzle games etc? Absolutely. Sudoku can fuck right off. I have a Math learning disability. But I think my favourite thing is trivia.

any phobias? trypanophobia, arachnophobia, although that one isn't as bad as it used to be due to some very cute spider propaganda. I also have a fear of public speaking and presenting.

favourite childhood sport? I fell in love with American football when I was a pre-teen, and I have been a stan ever since. Unfortunately, I live exactly in a state where the 'local' games are all the teams I personally loathe. I also love caber and sheaf tossing, fencing {withe swords/foils/epees}, roping, bull/bronc riding, and barrel racing.

do you talk to yourself? Oh absolutely. A lot of times it's muses, it's snippets of RP that play out in my head like a radio drama, it's me having arguments with myself as myself and others. Fun fact, I always put on a show or an audiobook/ambient music at bed time because that's the only real way to make my head quiet enough *to* sleep. I also have binged entire series in 10-15 minute intervals. I feel I deserve a patience award or something.

So it's no secret that I am OBSESSED with cowboy HP fanfic. Like give me a home where the hippogriffs roam, that kinda thing. Rodeo Cowboys Yeehaw (not the real title probably lol) is a Wolfstar & Jily brain baby I was bullied into by @carlav-blogs and also @siriuslythatbitch iirc... I'm easily bullied. In this, Remus was a very accomplished barrel racer (unusual bc it's usually a women's event in rodeo due to their size) who was top of his league alongside Lily. James is a Team Roper who used to bareback bronc ride (which got him PLENTY of ribbing when Lily got pregnant ;)). Sirius is a horse trainer who breaks horses and gets them ready for sale. At Sirius's last auction before he fucks off to the Dakotas to work with Nokota horses, he meets Remus. They don't know the other person knows James, and they have a very heated one-night stand. Next morning, Sirius is off and is gone for 5 years. They both spend those 5 years just...thinking about each other. Didn't exchange contact info. Remus has a bad bad fall during an event and is badly injured. Lily leaves the sport around the same time since she's pregnant with Harry, and helps Remus recover. Remus is terrified of riding now, but Lily is trying to help him heal and stop being a recluse:

"You know, James's best friend from the circuit has just moved back home. He did a stint up north training Nokota horses. He's cute." "And?" "And single " "…and?" "And very, very gay." "…goddammit, Lil."

Sirius does come back with a band of horses to sell, and is looking for Remus, like "where's that guy?" He learns Remus doesn't ride any more but has to get the story out of like 6 different people and is all, "no no no, but he LOVED it, you could TELL! He was perfect…" Cue a story of romance and healing, both mental and physical. :) Harry does mutton bustin', and this is a Nokota (tell me this isn't a horse Sirius Black wouldn't move across the country for):
