Okay, so apparently the post didn't go through earlier, so I'll try and remember what I had plus new stuff.

During Pavetta's betrothal feast, Geralt isn't the only one who fights to protect Duny, because Jaskier needs barely a glance to see just how much Pavetta loves him. And this time, when Calanthe

Stands across the destroyed ballroom from her brother, who's standing there with his lute in hand and all she can think is I can't lose anyone else.

And so two Marriages happen that night and Jaskier is in the middle of making a mental note to give both Eist and Duny a Big Shovel Talk™ when Duny insists on repaying his Debt and Geralt is claims Law of Surprise.

"Give us that which you already possess, but do not yet know of."

Jaskier is torn between Cursing and cuffing Geralt over the back of the head because he's an Idiot when Pavetta vomits and Geralt Curses, so Jaskier goes ahead and cuffs him over the back of the head. Idiot.

Then Geralt runs walks away and the crowd disperses and Jaskier goes and hugs Calanthe. Eist is about to become very indignant when Calanthe wordlessly hugs him back, Jaskier just running his hand over her back like he used to do when they were little.

"It's going to be okay, Lanthe. Geralt is family too and by Virtue of his wording, the little one is my Child Surprise as well, sort of. And The Path is no place for a child, he won't attempt to claim them; not unless they're in danger. I trust Geralt with my life. It'll be okay."

Eist is very confused by the vibe he's getting from their interaction. It's cleared up very quickly when Jaskier says that Calanthe is perfectly capable of causing destroying him if he hurts her, but if hurts his sister no one will ever find his body.

Then he goes after Geralt because no way is he getting left behind.

When Calanthe had first been told by Roegner about the Law of Surprise, Calanthe had slapped him. Because she already knew she was pregnant. Had found out only quite recently and she couldn't lose her baby, lose them like she'd lost her brother.

And then her baby girl is born and Roegner won't let her have the first name Calanthe wants to give her, so second will have to do.

And Pavetta Juliana Fiona Elen was welcomed into the world.

Almost sixteen years later Cirilla Juliana Fiona Elen Riannon is also welcomed into the world.

What about a Witcher AU where Jaskier is Calanthe's older brother who was kidnapped as a young child and given to a Witcher school.

Okay, so it's expanded slightly.

Jaskier and Calanthe's parents did a wrong by an Elven Family. In return, that family hired a Witcher from the School of the Cat to kidnap Calanthe. Jaskier interfered and was taken instead. The Family wanted Calanthe, but as Jaskier got taken instead, they don't care what gets done with him, so the Witcher takes Jaskier back to the school to make him a Witcher.
