I feel this post so much because of course this is a romantic thing and I do that. When I'm enamoured with someone, I see them everywhere. I see them and then notice it wasn't them or there was nobody at all. It's a beautiful, melancholic feeling. Yearning for someone is so painful yet so full of life.

But another thought that I had, that isn't related to romantic feelings: I always feel like people forget about me as soon as they don't see me anymore. They wouldn't ever wonder what's going on with me, if I didn't remind them of my existence. I don't doubt they like me, I just become irrelevant when I'm not there. It is always me reaching out. And I know it's so exhausting to keep in contact but when both put an effort in, it shouldn't be that hard anymore, it becomes natural, does it not?

And that's the reason why when someone shows you they thought about you, something reminded them of you, it's one of the best feelings there is. So PLEASE tell your friends when you think about them! Show them the silly thing that made you remember them!
