The sky has since fallen completely dark, but the city lights of Tokyo still twinkle brightly in the distance, drowning out any stars. The light pollution still appears beautiful though, as a comforting beacon of civilization in the surrounding darkness.
The atmosphere, which had previously been so violently vibrant, has now quieted to a muted calm as the world slows down, whipping cool night air around Toji’s tense frame on his balcony.
However, it does fuck all to soothe the seared edges of his temper.
Nor does the serene scene do anything to calm the heated exchange still taking place inside your condo.
Your domestic dispute with Sukuna fiercely rages on.
Toji savors the last few puffs of his cigarette before discarding it and quickly lighting another. Chain smoking is his last salvation, lest the persistent urge to protect you completely overtakes him and causes him to act rashly.
The current state of the organization had suspicions at an all-time high. Toji couldn’t afford that considering who he was dealing with and what all could come in between the two of you should he err from the plan.
Closing his eyes, Toji manages to regain control by doing the one thing that never failed to pacify him—thinking of you, of course.
Both the sweet poison and the bitter antidote to Toji, you do nothing but constantly plague his psyche.
But perhaps it’s that he knows you need him as much as he realizes he needs you.
Over the course of time he had watched you, it didn’t take long for Toji to conclude that you only chose to remain with Sukuna for the security he provided. Preservation and the obligations of motherhood were the only logical motivations you could have.
It was glaringly apparent that Sukuna didn’t love you.
Even a blind man could see the truth of it.
Sukuna only visited you on rare occasions, when yakuza business took him beyond the central city limits, as Toji’s own surveillance and connections had revealed.
And whenever he did show up, it usually led to arguments between the two of you. If you had indeed loved Sukuna at one point you weren’t foolish enough to hold onto any of those illusions now.
Moreover, the subject of illusions—Toji had been privy to having many fantasies of you.
Weathering away at the stone around his heart he strived his whole life to build—only to then rebuild once again after his late wife—addictingly sweet visions of you so swiftly demolish the walls he set in place.
Toji allowed himself many hopeful images of what life could be like with you.
A life of ease.
That said, it would never be too easy.
Toji is still a yakuza himself and he knew the organization would never let him walk away entirely.
Nevertheless, his role was somewhat unique—an executive assassin was almost unheard of. Toji took on as many kills as he did as a way to numb and distract himself, not because it was required of him or he couldn’t pass it off to another. And ever since he’d laid eyes on you he had no desire to busy himself with anything other than you.
Toji takes pleasure in knowing he wouldn’t ever have to be away from you for long too.
As it happens, he already owns a spacious five-bedroom home just outside Tokyo in Chiba—the previous home he had hoped to share with his late wife. Toji had planned to surprise her with it once she left the hospital.
Yet instead of leaving the hospital with Megumi’s mother by his side, Toji had walked out alone. Numbed to the world, his hand had gripped the sleek black urn that had mockingly held her remains—along with his shattered hopes.
And as a result, no one had even crossed the threshold since the purchase was made.
But that would change though now that there would be the four of you to breathe life into the home.
Who else could give you that kind of life but Toji?
Certainly not Sukuna.
Toji would give you everything if you let him—but you weren’t an easy conquest, something he learned quickly as you prove it to him time and time again.
Toji recalls your second encounter with a sharpened clarity. It had taken him only two weeks to meticulously study your habits. The encounter had been carefully orchestrated, but despite his planning, the day hadn’t quite unfolded as Toji anticipated to say the least.
Parked down on the block of your typical walking path, Toji sat in his blacked-out Mercedes, keeping an eye on his rear-view mirror monitoring your approach. The mirror also showed Megumi, who was peacefully dozing in the backseat.
Heh, yeah he’d made damn sure to have the kid with him back then too.
Hardly older than 18 months and already a lady-killer, Megumi never failed to melt the heart of any woman who laid eyes upon his abundant chubby-cheeked cuteness.
Not like Toji had ever really needed to expend the effort before now. He knew just a mere look from him could get panties leaking, but you’d be harder to conquer than that.
Toji would enjoy taking his time, which if he thought about previously he would have deemed odd—he’d never been one to hold himself back or take his time with a woman.
Not anymore.
Not since her at least.
But the agony that had accompanied thoughts of his late wife had dulled considerably since he’d first started observing you.
A bonus of that being it no longer hurts as much to see Megumi—not when he would picture you rocking him in your arms.
Toji had even gone so far as to believe that she would have approved, that she would have liked you. He imagined she would have gladly chosen you to take care of both Megumi and him if she’d known you.
A familiar form appears in the rear-view mirror and Toji knows it’s game time.
Here you were, a reward for his diligence in tracking your habits, right on schedule.
Your features sparkled in the summer sun as you pushed Yuji along in his stroller, humming a tune while the child giggled along clapping.
The kid’s bubbly deposition had to come from you, Toji decided—surely none of it could have come from, nor been influenced by, Sukuna.
Toji wondered if you could even make a somber child like Megumi smile.
Biding in-wait until you passed, Toji snatched up Megumi and kept far enough distance so as to not alarm you of his presence.
His original plan had been to exit the car as you passed by and walk into the store together. But that all changed when Toji got the first glimpse of what you were wearing.
Toji would avoid being noticed by you, but your attire made it near impossible for him not to notice you.
The dress you wore was barely made modest enough to wear in public by the cardigan you draped over it. A less curvaceous woman could have likely pulled it off without turning a head.
However on your body, the way the thin loose fabric hung off your shape as it clung onto the moist areas of perspiration like a second skin—was fucking obscene.
Especially as despite your continued efforts, the crack of your ass kept gobbling up your sundress no matter how many times you subtly tried to yank it free.
Toji bet your ass could swallow his cock up just as well.
Damn.
Toji wished the walkup to the store was longer.
He’d never been one for prayer, but he would have started if whatever God deemed it fit right at that very moment to send an unanticipated gust of wind.
Your lack of panty line had his mind racing as to whether you wore a thong or were just slutty enough to be outside bare-assed in a short sundress mid-afternoon.
The green of your sundress matched his eyes too and Toji took it as another sign from the universe, he was on the right path by pursuing you like this.
You were doing this intentionally just to tease him, weren't you?
Hoping he’d see you like this and to tempt him into taking a peek, right?
Entering the grocery store, Megumi seated in-cart, Toji continued tailing you as you shopped.
True to the homemaker he previously confirmed you to be, you picked up mostly fresh produce, prime cuts of meat from the butcher, and some pantry baking items.
You were capable of more than just the frozen dinners he’d be more accustomed to if not for his Nanny’s cooking. She was a decent enough cook too—but she wasn’t you.
Nothing she cooked smelled a fraction as good as the mostly foreign, but appetizing, smells that wafted from under your door to fill the hall with warm spices.
The food you would make him, once Toji gets you settled in your new home, would definitely be much better.
You were truly perfect, well nearly so.
After tailing you down a few aisles, Toji suspects the one minor flaw you may have is you appeared to be the absentminded type.
How else could you be disregarding his overbearing presence as he continuously had put himself in your line of vision? Restlessness overtook Toji as he waited for you to look up and catch his eye, giving him a casual opening.
You had been too consumed with your phone to notice his attempts— which if he would guess, wouldn’t be successful anytime soon.
Grumbling, Toji had to take matters into his own hands if he wanted to shop with you at all.
Easy enough too, you were already so carelessly distracted.
Momentarily taking his eyes off you, Toji calculated how long it would take you to reach the end of the aisle. So as you moved from one aisle to the next, he casually nudged his cart into your path, creating a T-bone collision that made it look like you were at fault for leaving the aisle.
The bang was jolting enough to finally draw your attention.
“OH MY GOD! I WASN’T WATCHING WHERE I WAS GOING! I’M SO SORRY– I-I …Fushiguro?!”
Heh, took ya long enough to notice.
“Well, hey doll. Long time no see, ma.”
A flagrant lie.
Toji had seen you nearly everyday—you just hadn’t seen him.
He could tell you were flustered and embarrassed as multiple heads in the store had turned towards the two of you from the rattling collision.
You couldn’t apologize enough to Toji who was on cloud nine from your attention focused on him.
And as Toji had predicted, your attention was soon stolen by the black spikey haired baby boy seated in his cart.
“Oh wow Fushiguro!!—”
“—Toji, ma.”
A smirk bloomed across his features as you rolled your eyes at him, continuing your affections towards Megumi.
“—I remember you said you had a son but I didn’t know you had a little mini-me, he’s so adorable!”
Toji didn’t fail to notice the double—no triple, take you had given between himself and Megumi.
He also couldn't help but see how your big ass tiddies looked—like they wanted to bounce right outta that sundress and into his mouth—as you bent down to get a closer look at Megumi.
No bra too?
Oh, you’d surely be the death of him.
But Toji's cock wasn’t the only part of him swelling, his heart rate sped like crazy just from watching you fuss over Megumi so apologetically—much like a loving mom soothing her own child at the sight of him sniffling back tears.
For a moment, Yuji’s giggling drew Toji’s attention as the boisterous kid seemed to think it was some sort of ride. Needing no comfort at all, Yuji merrily squealed with laughter at the impact, continuing to stuff rice puff snacks into his little face.
The distraction kept Toji from warning you not to pick up Megumi and before he Toji knew what was happening— you scooped Megumi up. Settling Megumi into your arms, Toji noted you cradled him with the same joy radiating from you as you did Yuji—and much to Toji’s shock—Megumi let you.
It went without saying that Megumi wasn't the friendliest kid.
Toji suspected he had inherited that from him, along with his trademark scowl. The little terror was known to pitch a screaming fit if someone other than Toji or his nanny picked him up.
However, in your hold, Megumi appeared calm—angel-like even—as far as Toji was concerned.
More curious than upset, Megumi's tears dried at the corners of his eyes as he reached out to gently bop your nose with his tiny fist.
“Aye! Manners, kiddo.”
Toji chides Megumi, but inside he is amazed by the interaction.
Returning the gesture, you softly boop Megumi's nose with the pad of your finger, causing him to grab it in defiance, as you offered him softly whispered apologies for upsetting him.
This served to confirm in Toji’s mind the place you belonged in his life.
He couldn’t be wrong about you.
You were perfect.
Everything was aligning better than he could have hoped for.
“No harm done ma, Megumi can take a lick. Just like his daddy.”
You shook your head at Toji and gently rubbed soothing circles on Megumi’s back, cooing at him.
“Oh? So you’re growing up strong like your daddy, huh, Megumi?”
Megumi tilted his head slightly, his thumb resting gently in his mouth.
“Just don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re smooth like he does.”
You shot Toji a teasing smirk, immediately resulting in a half chub pressed against his suit pants.
Now you were… teasing him?
Oh, you had no fucking idea just how smooth Toji could be when he wanted. And Toji planned to put 3 more kids inside of you soon too, just as smoothly.
Those facts withstanding, Toji could tell his son hadn’t quite made up his mind about you yet. Megumi just blinked at you, but the fact that he wasn't screaming his head off was good enough for Toji.
“Don’t let the blank stare fool you, ma, he likes you. Trust, ya would know if he didn’t. Just takes him a while to warm up to most folks.”
You gave Toji another playful smile.
“Hmm, and wonder who he got that from?”
Primal urges surged in his veins as Toji wanted nothing more than to grab you in his arms at that moment, although Toji settled for countering with a smirk of his own.
“We’re not that bad ma—once you get to know us.”
Toji flashed a toothy grin at you, amused by the upward pull at the corners of your lips as you tried and failed, not to be entertained by him.
You gently set Megumi back down in the cart, smoothing down his onesie and safely buckling him in before turning back to Toji.
“I’m sure Megumi is a perfectly sweet kid, who just needs to come into his own a bit.”
“Eh? And whadda ‘bout me, mamas?”
“The jury is still out on you—Fushiguro.”
“—Toji,” he corrected once again—and again you responded by rolling your pretty eyes under those long thick lashes of yours.
Oh, Toji had just the thing for that ass since you liked to roll your eyes back that much.
Toji imagined how deeply they’d be lodged into your head once he stuffed you full of his fat cock—all in one go—effectively pushing your guts up into your chest.
Yeah, he had it bad for you—real bad.
Unable to stop the many intrusive sexual thoughts that would spring in his mind just from being close enough to smell the scent of your sweet vanilla and jasmine perfume.
Yet Toji couldn’t let the chance pass to press his limits with you.
“So—How about ya give me y’er number so we can set up a playdate, eh? Since ya think Megumi’s such a sweet kid and all, mamas.”
Caught off guard, you looked away from Toji in contemplation, chewing on your lip.
“Hm... I-I don't think that’s such a good idea, Fushiguro.”
You shift your stance a bit, taking on a defensive posture.
Tch, fuck. You’d be harder to crack than Toji originally thought.
Plus you seemed to still have some loyalty to Sukuna, even if you held no love for him.
But that was all fine, Toji calculates—a good thing even.
That just meant you would be all the more loyal to him once he did have you.
Thinking on his feet, Toji subtly switches tactics, playing dumb as he lifts a brow.
“Toji, doll, but ya know what I do for work. Think I gots time to be babysitting brats? What, s’not a good idea for the nanny to bring Gumi by?”
“Oh! Of course the nanny! Yeah that’s fine, erm, that's… sorry. I thought—”
“—thought, what mamas? You tryna get a playdate with me too? ”
Toji couldn’t hold back his laughter as your eyes widened in shock.
Embarrassment washed over you like a tsunami, intensified by Toji's teasing. You hid half your face with one hand while the other gripped the grocery cart handle so tightly that Toji half-expected it to snap off.
“Kiddin’ ma—lighten up a ‘lil eh? Ya left y’erself wide open for that one, doll.”
Sighing in defeat, you finally conceded to his charms, exchanging numbers with him solely so his nanny could coordinate the playdates.
“I see you think you got jokes, Fushiguro.”
Toji relished the win as your smile returned.
“Ya know I do—and it's Toji, mama.”
With that shift, Toji was pleased to see you gradually lower your guard around him, the ice between you started to melt. You continued your shopping together, Toji casually picking up a few items, occasionally seeking your advice on what to feed Megumi.
Truth be told, he had no idea. The nanny always handled all the shopping.
Subtly taking the lead in the conversation, Toji casually provoked you into revealing more about yourself. Details he couldn’t piece together—like where you grew up, what your life was like before Japan and what brought you here—all which he cataloged meticulously in his mind.
Toji wanted to ask how a smart girl planning to be a doctor with a full-ride exchange program scholarship to Tokyo University got knocked up by a dumb fuckhead like Ryomen Sukuna—but the very last thing he wanted you to think about when you were with him was Sukuna.
However, each piece of information he learned of you convinced him more of how much he wanted you—
“Oh yeah, Fushiguro! Despite what you said, I actually managed to make a friend!”
–all to himself.
Tch, a fuckin’ friend?
Toji’s demeanor darkened, but you didn’t notice—too busy humming to yourself while checking apples for bruises in the produce section.
Not like this information came as a particular surprise to him, Toji's eyes narrowed as he could guess exactly who it was right away.
Toji had seen the tall raven-haired woman whose afternoon jogs in the park so-conveniently aligned with your walks with Yuji. You both would exchange pleasantries as she admired your son, and you her commitment to fitness, that you would say you never seemed to have the time for these days.
Yet your interactions from what he had seen never ventured much beyond that.
Although Toji would normally oblige you a few friends, having a friend here would complicate his plans.
The women of The Nursery up until now had done such a good job in isolating you all on their own without him having to lift a finger. Toji was relying on their catty caste system to ultimately drive you into his arms, as the only person you could rely on.
Toji couldn’t have one of them ruin that.
He needed to know more about this ‘friend’ of yours.
How well have you gotten to know each other?
And in what ways?
The fact that this development happened right under his watchful eye, without him knowing the depth of it, had Toji cross to say the least.
Thankfully, your isolation had you starved for an attentive ear, so you were eager to spill your guts about your new friend to him.
And as the good future husband he’d be to you, Toji was sure to listen now as he would in the future—or at least appear like he was most of the time.
“She’s new like me! Well, not new I suppose, but back for a stay here with her fiancé until things calm down due to all the commotion happening overseas now.”
So that woman did intend to leave.
Good.
The sooner the better so Toji’s own hand wouldn’t have to be forced and your little ‘friend’ could be spared.
Toji couldn’t have anything or anyone coming in between the two of you—no matter the consequences from who they were.
“She doesn’t have any kids so I’ve been giving her tips and sharing how I dealt with Yuji this past year. She always seems to be busy though, so we haven’t really had the chance to really do anything—but she calls me often.”
Toji’s teeth clenched.
They dared to make phone contact even?
And bad girl—you’d been so eager to give this stranger, who had no respect for boundaries, your number but you hesitated with him?
What did Toji need to do to show you he was the only one with your best interests in mind?
Toji was the only one you should have confided in and the only one you should trust.
“Heh, well isn’t that nice, ma.”
Toji would have to figure out how to deal with the problem of your new friend at a later time. He didn’t want to spend the fleeting moments he had remaining with you brooding, as it was sure to soon show on his face and sour the mood.
Pivoting the subject back to just the two of you, Toji inquired about the baked goods he’s still owed. He could tell you’d forgotten already, but he wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity he had to taste your cooking.
It would keep him sated long enough until he could actually taste you.
“Ya know, I usually don’t like sweets though.”
Toji told you when you asked his favorite dessert and you were genuinely determined you could bake him something he’d like.
“Hmm, you know I can make a mean fudge brownie! I make them with semi-sweet chocolate too. Plus, since I moved here I also cut some sugar and added matcha to the recipe, so they wouldn’t be too sweet. they are so gooey they melt in your mouth.”
“Heh, yeah—I bet you would too, ma.”
This time, you didn’t suppress your amused cackle as you shook your head and pushed your cart forward, still overall ignoring his persistent flirtations even if you were growing more comfortable with them.
Toji sensed the playful personality you’d kept tightly wrapped under all those layers from being with Sukuna, whose cruel sense of humor would only serve to crush yours.
Toji couldn’t wait to be the one to fully draw it back out of you.
“Ugh—boy, you play too much, Fushiguro!”
Toji chuckled, pushing his cart along after yours—he could tell your cheeks were still burning though.
“—Toji, ma.”
When you both finally reached the register, Toji checked out first, slyly sliding his card to cover your groceries as well.
You were completely unaware though, having left your cart with him in line while you rushed Yuji to the bathroom.
Yuji, being the growing boy that he was, had devoured his rice snacks too quickly and promptly spat them up all over himself.
Feeling smug in his chivalry, Toji anticipated seeing an even sweeter smile when you returned to find your groceries already paid for.
Yet, he’d seemingly made another miscalculation with you.
As when you returned to see your groceries bagged and paid for, you kept Yuji in your arms as you placed your bags of groceries in the stroller itself, storming out without a word leaving behind a dumbfounded Toji.
Toji was more than puzzled as you seemed furious at the fact Toji had done what he deemed to be ‘a-nice-thing-any-woman- would-want’.
The fuck happend?!
Shifting Megumi and own bag in his arms, Toji swiftly pursued you.
“Oy, mamas!”
You ignored him but Toji wouldn’t give up on you easily, or at all truthfully.
You didn’t realize that yet but Toji figured you must have gathered he was bullheaded enough to keep following you until you acknowledged him once you abruptly stopped and whipped around to face him.
“What, no ‘thank you’ f’er me, ma?”
Toji watched your nostrils flare as you angrily snapped at him.
“Thank you?!”
God, you were beautiful—even pissed off.
Toji knows he should be more focused on what you were saying in the moment, as you heatedly  gave him a piece of your mind. However, Toji zoned out momentarily, unable to quiet his internal thoughts that screamed to him how pretty you were with your brow furrowed and cheeks puffed in indignation.
“... and furthermore you think you can just buy me, is that it?! That just because I have to rely on Sukuna and accept living in a building full of side hoes to give Yuji a comfortable life that I’ll just giggle and go along with anything like the rest of those bitches?!”
Shit.
You were actually pissed.
Ah fuck.
Toji had greatly underestimated your self-worth. Once again, you proved him wrong—and once more, that pleased him. It further highlighted how you were in fact a pearl among The Nursery pigs.
“Uh, Fuck mamas, er–I-I…no–”
Yet you proved to be such a wildcard that you had Toji of all people stuttering as he scrambled to find the right words to appease you.
“—then what?! Say something!”
Toji had to think fast.
He could see how it looked bad now, but in a rare form from his usual nature, Toji’s intentions had been honest. Toji just really wanted to show you he had the means and could take care of you—not to buy you.
Nonetheless, Toji really only had himself to blame as he’s sure you’ve heard of his far less than pious reputation.
Ostracized or not, the bougie women of The Nursery were terrible gossips and he was sure you’d overheard plenty less than savory information about him.
Of course, with all things considered, you’d assume the worst of him.
But Toji had never even bothered to learn any of those bitches names, much less buy them anything—they would give him gifts.
In this situation though, to quell your anger and regain your favor, Toji devised a quick lie, hoping it would smooth things over.
“Tch,” he began, scratching the back of his head and awkwardly looking away from you.
He had to be sure to sell it.
“No, it’s just ah, the guy—er, the teller. He assumed we were together.”
Toji shifted his stance, readjusting a drowsy Megumi in his arms.
“So, you told him we were…?”
You raised a brow, huffing but you didn’t seem as angry as before. Toji saw your eyes soften a bit, distracted by a cute lil yawn from Megumi who sleepily burrowed his face deeper into his shoulder.
Good kid, lookin out for y’er old man, aye Gumi?
Seeing how Megumi was disarming you, Toji knew this was his chance at redemption. Like a gentle giant, Toji’s large hand dwarfed his son’s small head with affection pats—an action he had picked up from observing you.
“Not exactly—but I supposed it looked that way, ma. What with the kids n’ya leaving all y’er shit with me n’all. Easier to just pay then explain.”
Toji continued before you could say anything, seeing as you didn’t look quite convinced.
“Trust me, from all of what you told me today, I know ya can take care of y’erself mamas… even if you are with that asshole.”
You regarded Toji with a scrutinizing gaze for all of a minute, yet that minute felt like hours to him.
He couldn’t remember feeling this uneasy ever—and being in the Yakuza put him in several situations in the past he thought he wouldn’t make it out of.
“Fine,” you resigned with a sigh, “It’s whatever then.”
Seeing that you had set aside the words you originally intended to scold him with, Toji felt that this was the best possible outcome he could have hoped for.
Well shit, bullet dodged.
“Uh yeah, well…I’ll see you around then Fushiguro—”
Toji couldn’t just let you leave like this, on uneasy terms with your frustration still evident.
“—Wait ma!”
And even more so as Toji stopped you once again.
“Look…I ain’t too big to admit I fucked up, mamas. Let me make it up to ya, yeah? Give ya a ride back so ya don’t hafta walk back in this heat?”
Toji knew you wanted to reject his offer out of pride, but he was serious now—there was no fuckin’ way he was gonna let you walk back.
Your load of groceries was way more than your usual trips, and on top of carrying Yuji, a sizable boy for his age, your purse and pushing the stroller would turn a 15 minute walk into a 25 minute one easily.
The scorching summer sun perched high at its peak at this time of day and the thick, near suffocating, humidity could easily turn to heat exhaustion—especially for a young toddler.
He knew you knew that too.
You’d have to accept, per Toji’s calculations.
And you did.
“Okay, why not...”
Yet the reluctance was clear in your voice.
The ride back began uneventfully, yet the calm atmosphere inside the car was tinged with awkwardness.
Megumi was snoozing in his car seat, while Yuji sat on your lap in the passenger seat.
Despite the lingering tension, Toji could see the relief on your face. The transition from the sweltering heat to the cool comfort of his air-conditioned Mercedes had clearly brought you much-needed respite.
The domesticality of it all was something Toji didn’t realize he would miss as much as he did, and it pissed him off that it was something Sukuna of all people had and took for granted.
However, when Toji glanced over at you, he tightened his grip on the wheel with both hands.
Your actions were purely innocent as you entertained Yuji, bouncing him on your knees. However, the movement caused your sundress to lift and bunch damn near to your hips.
Toji swore he could feel the steering wheel crack under his grip as he fought the urge to slide a hand onto your thigh, or at minimum over his soon-to-be-bricked-up cock.
Fuck. Get it together.
But there was nothing Toji could have done to stop his dissociative daydreams, which had grown increasingly vivid since laying eyes on you, from consuming him.
The sleek hardness of the leather steering wheel morphed to be malleable like the inner flesh of your thighs. Toji gripped the wheel tighter, which only made the visualization of how soft your skin would be in contrast to the texture of his calloused hand more apparent. The same hand which would so graciously sink into the warm plush of your skin with reassuring squeezes.
Finally, Toji would also get his answer as to whether or not you had been wearing panties. Toji’s wandering hand would only need to travel up the tiniest bit higher to press his knuckles right against your core.
And when it came down to it, whether you had them on or not mattered little to Toji—regardless of the result, he still intended to bully his thick middle knuckle directly into your clit.
Toji would take satisfaction in keeping his main attention on the road as he engaged you in casual conversation—all the while drawing slow absentminded circles around your bud. He would only pause if he felt the lil’ thing swell up enough—to the point where the soft clicking sounds from your slick could be heard if there wasn’t music playing.
He’d edge you with subtle, yet incessant, pleasure all the way home. Seeing just how much of his teasing your messy cunt could handle.
Toji's mind was stuck so badly in-between your thighs that he’d actually been caught off guard when you finally broke the silence, eagerly asking about his playlist as “How Do U Want It” pumped through the car speakers.
And that's how Toji managed to worm his way back into your good graces.
You seemed genuinely surprised to discover he was also a fan of ’90s hip-hop when he told you he was.
Of course, being a fan of ’90s hip-hop wasn’t a lie—but he had heard this particular song playing from your apartment before, so he made sure to add it to a playlist for whenever he’d be able to get you into his car.
Much to Toji’s enjoyment, before long you were laughing again as he attempted—very, very poorly—to rap along to some of the lyrics in English.
Pleased to have won you back over, Toji purposely missed at least two turns just to keep you in his car a bit longer.
If the day had ended there, he would have considered it a win.
But, of course, with his luck, things would prove to be anything but victorious.
Naturally, once you both returned, Toji carried your bags upstairs. However, that didn’t stop him from playfully teasing you.
Toji joked that—‘Miss Independent didn’t want him paying for her groceries, but she sure as hell didn’t mind him carrying them’—and was rewarded again with the soft snorts of your laughter.
It’s not like you didn’t have your hands full though, cradling both Megumi and Yuji, who were now fast asleep—one on each of your shoulders.
It was…cute.
Fuck, when even was the last time Toji even thought something was cute?
You were cute though, especially with the kids.
That he didn’t mind admitting.
Toji regretted that he didn't snap a picture of the moment. He knew it would likely be over soon.
Heh, maybe it didn’t have to be though.
With both boys asleep in your arms, Toji considered the likelihood of coaxing you to invite him in. You’d surely need help carrying both Yuji and your bags inside—but he didn’t want to push his luck, especially after he had already majorly fucked things up with you once today.
Although, Toji realized you wouldn’t need any convincing when you looked at him with a kind smile that reached all the way into your bright eyes. That was all the encouragement he needed to step across the threshold, technically uninvited, as he held the door open for you.
Toji would have entered too, had the energy not immediately shifted.
“—and just what the fuck is this?”
Motherfucker.
Down the hallway, Sukuna had since stepped out of the elevator with his right hand, Uraume, close behind. Sukuna appeared already agitated, barking rushed orders over the phone.
But Sukuna abruptly ended the call the moment he saw Toji about to enter the condo with you. And as if he owned the entire building himself, Sukuna exuded obnoxious dominance in every stride as he approached.
Toji may have outranked him but Sukuna rivaled Toji in both size and presence, sauntering over to loom behind you with an unmistakable air of possessiveness.
Tch, Sukuna shouldn’t even be here.
Toji had miscalculated—a rare miscalculation, but a big one nonetheless—what he gets, he supposed, for trusting a less than meticulous intel source.
According to his, now incorrect intel, Sukuna was supposed to be in Shinjuku at headquarters. The fact that he was here, interfering with his time he had so meticulously planned with you, infuriated Toji.
Shit—he hadn’t wanted Sukuna to see you two together just yet.
Despite Toji being unable to hide his disdain, he offered a respectful nod to Sukuna, as was customary between fellow upper-ranked yakuza.
Sukuna returned the gesture in-kind, along with a smug grin that had plastered itself across his face.
Tension saturated the air and Toji noticed that your once-gentle smiles had faded, replaced by wary glances exchanged between him and Sukuna.
Toji’s hand causally brushed yours as you carefully handed Megumi back to him before you faced Sukuna.
He noticed you running the spot on your hand where your skin had touched.
Did you also feel the electricity between the two of you burn your skin?
Toji had.
“If I knew you were coming, you could have picked me up from the store, Ryo! Then I wouldn’t have had to be a bother to Fushiguro...”
You could never be a bother to Toji.
Looking you over, Toji scrutinized your every movement. He knew you were merely trying to shift focus and keep the peace—but to do it for him?
After everything today, and how he unintentionally put his foot in his mouth with his actions?
Were—were you falling for him, already?
The slightly strained smile on your face still looked sweet enough, and Toji might have mistaken it for genuine—if not for the real warmth you’d shown him just moments before Sukuna’s arrival.
You really had saved your smiles just for him, isn’t that right mama?
Toji’s heart beats wildly at the thought, however his good temperaments were greatly diminished as he noted how the light in your eyes dimmed.
Seeing you shrink yourself to answer to Sukuna, no matter how insignificant—pissed him off.
Well, at least thanks to him, you wouldn’t have to suffer Sukuna much longer.
As Toji had expected, Sukuna didn’t try to suppress his asshole-like nature, even towards you. Your attempted olive branch had been rebuffed by the heavy hand on your shoulder. It was evident Sukuna was unconcerned with your excuses as he focused solely on Toji.
“Ah Fushiguro, I see you’ve met my son and his mother.”
Even though Sukuna had failed to give you a title, the intent behind his words and demeanor was unmistakable:
Sukuna owned you.
So that's how it is, eh?
Toji couldn’t say he was surprised.
Although his possessive nature wasn't driven by affection for you, Sukuna simply never liked to share his toys.
Sukuna must have thought you were just another plaything for Toji, well aware of what Toji got up to typically at The Nursery,
Eh, and were you any other woman, Sukuna would have been right.
But you were never toy to Toji, he wanted much more than just to fuck you, even before he realized it himself.
Toji would be lying if he said that he wasn’t looking forward to that too though.
“Heh, we’ve already had our introductions before, isn’t that right…?”
Toji was pleased by the flushed, wide-eyed expression on your face when he dared to address you by your first name—just as he was pleased that Sukuna’s smirk faltered into a scowl at Toji’s bold familiarity with you.
Toji mainly did it to piss Sukuna off. However seeing you flustered, knowing he could have an effect on you even in front of Sukuna, had been a much sweeter treat.
“Oh? Then she must know not to pay heed to old roosters who are now forced to spend more time in the hen house than running the farm these days. Although, a rooster who cannot crow effectively is of little use anywhere else, I suppose.”
Toji’s expression held firm onto the casual smugness he wore, but inside he was boiling.
Toji knew exactly what Sukuna was referring to.
Since his late wife passed, Toji had been only sent for specialized jobs that required his immense powerhouse abilities. Although he could easily air out a room of 20 men, Toji was considered to be more of a loose cannon than ever before.
Simply not caring—Toji took his anger out on more than just his targeted kills with no second thoughts given to the collateral damage of the environment he was in nor the civilian casualties around. Thus Toji made the damage control messier and harder on the organization in cases where more precision was needed.
Some would have called that a liability and had him dealt with, yet the bigger liability still would be trying to ‘deal with’ Toji in the first place.
Many had tried over the years for one reason or another—and it had been a guaranteed death sentence every time too.
Regardless, Toji had remained dog loyal to the organization though, with little care for power or status, even though it came to him anyway.
As long as he was paid, Toji had been content—and in turn, so had the organization.
This resulted in Toji mostly being able to do as he pleased, even when he went a little rogue at times.
“Rooster, eh—”
Toji knew Sukuna’s condescending smug attitude stemmed from the special privileges he’d been given to sit in on the executive meetings to solve the current unrest of having to do with whatever old fuck of an executive had gotten himself offed.
Regardless, it could still be seen as a loss of status not being in those meetings.
More importantly—Toji’s rogue behaviors could easily be manipulated into a target on his back should Sukuna assert he’d been a part of the internal treason.
Toji knew he had to tread cautiously with Sukuna, but Toji still did not feel threatened in the least.
“—I’d like to think of myself here as more of a fox though, it suits me better don’t ya think?”
Toji’s gaze had briefly met your own, and you quickly turned away, his grin growing even wider.
But then again, if Sukuna wanted to think Toji was down and out—Toji would let him.
It would work to Toji’s advantage in the long run with securing you as his anyway.
Toji wasn’t worried as he had nothing to do with that old geezer getting wacked and he was glad they’d left him out of it.
Besides, Sukuna being brought into the inner circle could have just as easily been a way to keep a closer watch on him. After all, Sukuna wasn’t an executive—and while Toji was, his role was to eliminate threats, not uncover them. It made more sense for Toji to stay away than for Sukuna to be involved at all.
All which was a net win for Toji, as he found himself with more opportunities to spend time with you, while the organization conveniently kept Sukuna occupied.
With a swift, smooth motion, Toji bent down to retrieve the stray apple that had rolled from your grocery bag. He polished it against his suit jacket before handing it back to you with a sly smile.
“Ya know, I am just next door lil’ hen. This ol’fox is still capable of being a good neighbor. I’ll always have plenty of sugar for you too, should you ever find yourself in need…”
Toji turns to Sukuna.
“...Especially since Sukuna has his hands full on the upper levels of the farm these days, eh? S’a wonder at all how ya manage to visit the hens on this floor too.”
Toji watched with amusement as your eyes widened at the blatant innuendos given right in front of Sukuna, who merely was left growling as his cell audibly and persistently vibrated.
Sukuna deemed the call more important than the coded banter with Toji, as he all but dragged you and Yuji into the condo—leaving the groceries for Uraume to bring in.
Although he had won the battle of the day, Toji regretted his actions later that evening when he inevitably lost the war.
Sukuna made sure to let it be known Toji lost too, as Sukuna had fucked you against the adjoining wall of the master bedroom so hard the entire wall shook.
Your pained yet pleasure-filled moans seeped through the thick insulation of the walls.
Using you like you were just one of his toys, Sukuna was quite literally pounding the point home that you belonged to him with every forceful quake.
Point taken, but what angered Toji more was Sukuna was being too rough with you.
Toji could have sworn he heard you plead for Sukuna to slow down and the irony of his concern was not lost on Toji.
Toji was never known for being a particularly gentle lover himself, but your body had been through enough—you’re a mother now.
You deserved better than the careless treatment of some cheap plastic fuck doll.
Nevertheless, despite the roughness, it was clear from the diluted moans through the insulation—you had liked it.
Sukuna was still making you cum.
And oh god, did Toji ever want to prove to your precious pussy that his thick inches would fuck her even harder if that’s what she asked of him.
Toji had to repress a frustrated groan when he realized he was painfully hard.
Your damped cries had Toji palming himself for relief before he even knew what he was doing.
Yet for all the perverse arousal he felt, Toji did feel some semblance of guilt.
His taunting of Sukuna ensured that this punishment was a lesson for the both of you.
But—Fuck.
Toji couldn’t deny his sadistic side.
He was a killer after all.
Even the distressed tremor of your euphoric moans sounded absolutely heavenly to him, and it wasn’t long before Toji fumbled with his own belt to drag out his heavily leaking cock.
Thick humid breaths left Toji as he hissed from having thumbed off the viscous pre-gathering on his redden tip.
Toji slowly spread it down his pulsing length, shuddering.
His frustrations at not being the one touching you—not being the one making you shiver and moan, are only rivaled by his frustration of this being the first time he’s had any real fire in his loins since he’s met you.
The fierce desire to cum was overtaking his more rational brain or self-control as he’d hadn’t been this hard in weeks, even when he’d rub one out from watching old security footage of you.
Wanting any semblance of contact, Toji placed his free hand on the wall—on the exact spot he imagined Sukuna had your cheek pressed against.
With closed eyes, Toji pictured himself cupping your face, thumb smoothing away any stray hairs or tears while he is the one thrusting into you, filling you.
His large hand encompassed his length while he thrusted into his rough palm, faster now that the speed of the thumping had increased—signaling Sukuna was close to finishing you.
Swallowing a frustrated roar, your muted cries for Sukuna through the wall brought Toji out of his fantasies and back to the harsh reality that Sukuna was the one balls deep in your tight milf pussy—while he was only in his own hand.
Nevertheless, Toji was determined to cum and even more so, determined to soon be the one making you scream in pleasure.
If you were this loud now—you’d be much louder on his cock.
Toji leaned in even closer, resting his head on his forearm against the wall, the wall that still shuddered with the force of Sukuna ruthlessly rearranging your guts.
Forcing himself to dissociate once more, so he could finish—Toji squeezed his eyes shut tightly as he bit his lip to the point of drawing blood. In the daydream, in Toji’s mind, it wasn’t the coarse skin of his palm that stroked his cock but the silky, wet heat of your cozy lil’ cunt.
Toji convinced himself that the sloshing noises that rang throughout his bedroom were from him stretching your pussy to his shape as his fat tip slammed against your cervix— and not from the embarrassing amount of pearlescent fluid spilling over his hand.
He hadn’t even cum yet—a testament to how backed up he truly was.
Toji should have been ashamed at the way his girth had pulsed in his palm, but he was so close, and so determined to finish with you, there was no room for ego.
Picking up speed to nearly the point of chafing, Toji jerked his cock feverishly. Toji came when he heard the loudest moan yet vibrate through the wall, and the banging had ceased with a final jarring shake.
Rolling back his eyes, Toji released his load all over the wall of his master bedroom, finally sated. Toji had allowed himself to release a strangled groan of relief, once he believed you both were no longer near the wall.
Panting and half-delirious with euphoric release, Toji’s eyes followed the trail of his thick cum splatter slowly trickling down the wall as his once engorged cock deflated in his hand.
With a curled lip and narrowed-in eyes, the white fluid turns red in his mind’s eye.
A dark chuckle escaped his lips and Toji fantasized what it would be like to put a slug right between Sukuna’s eyes. Toji’s large load pooled onto the floor in a similar fashion to how Sukuna’s brains would leak, spilling out as it also formed a similarly morbid pool of fluids.
Yet even despite his more ruthless inclinations, upon inhaling a deep breath, Toji felt an unfamiliar zen wash over him.
Killing was just business to Toji, and he couldn’t recall the last time the thought of offing someone had brought him this much pleasure or any semblance of peace.
Yet the fact revealed itself to him then, in that moment—the truth that he’d kill everyone in this goddamn organization for you if that's what it took.
Toji knew Sukuna wasn’t one of those cowardly fucks who would just roll over while someone moved in on his woman either, so Toji would likely be forced to kill him should Sukuna ever find out his true plans for you.
Toji sighs reluctantly—it was just a mere fantasy.
Not that he gave two fucks what would happen to Sukuna, but killing him would only fan the flames and might even cause an all-out internal war within the organization.
A war that as the top assassin, he’d be expected to quell with force—for god knows how long.
Ultimately, that would mean a loss for Toji too.
The more involved with the organization he was, the less time he’d get with you.
Brute force was never the ideal way to deal with someone like Sukuna, and it would be better for everyone if you seemingly left him of your own accord.
But what other choice did he have?
He’d do what it took to get you at the end of the day.
And while these complications may have deterred a younger Toji, you, as well as the challenge itself, breathed new life into his aging bones.
That life extended into all areas of his current one. Even the usually reserved Megumi had become less quiet and more responsive to Toji with his changed demeanor and increased presence around The Nursery.
You didn’t even know how much you were fixing his life even if you were only on the outskirts of it now.
You had made him better—so in turn, he would give you better.
Toji had no real interests, hobbies, nor friends.
Your moving-in had been the most exciting thing that had happened to him since she had been alive and Toji had lived the last year of his life on autopilot—but no more.
Now that he had something, well, someone that made him feel energized once again.
The familiar trill of a cell phone—one of the many burners he used for his yakuza dealings—pulls Toji out of his thoughts once again.
His lip curls in annoyance at the person on the line.
This is why Toji likes working alone.
Others were not only liabilities, but they were rarely ever self-sufficient.
Always wanting to ‘check-in’ and ‘confirm the plan’, rather than just taking the damn action themselves like they were supposed to.
But alas, the task of getting rid of Sukuna was something Toji knew he couldn’t do alone, he needed the intel source, even if they were unreliable at best.
Toji answers the call, but keeps it brief with his clipped replies.
By the time it ended, he was already scoffing, indifferent to the voice still speaking on the other end as he cut the call short and hung up as soon as he got the info he needed.
Shoving the phone into his back pocket, Toji sparks another cigarette.
His 'partner' had so kindly reminded him of the loose ends he still needed to tie up.
But that could wait.
For now, Toji remained where he was, stationed on his balcony—ready to stay out here all night for the small chance you may need him.

HI FELLOW SILCO ENJOYER
What are your thoughts on the polycule theory of felicia-silco-vander? 👀
Whew... where to begin?
Fair warning, this is going to be a long assessment.
First off, I firmly believe (unless S2 Act 3 makes me eat my words), that the writers didn't realize Silco and Vander would become such popular characters. I don't think that was the plan. They were side characters meant to beef up the main stars Jinx and Vi. Rightly so. They were devised as parallels for Vi and Jinx throughout the story. And it was beautiful.
S1 was filled with little details that enhanced every part of the plot and character development through each act.
However, if S/V were so important, more care would have been put into their backstories, which have been kept pretty vague. And these so-called continuity mistakes/plotholes seem pretty big for a studio that has been meticulous in the details all through S1.
We meet Vander, who changes his life after seeing the kids lose their parents and adopts them. Vander is seen as the builder and leader of the Underground, and he seems to lead with the threat of who he used to be (until Sevika calls his ass out).
Silco is introduced as the mean baddie immediately via Vander/Benzo's conversation in E1.
"There's worse things than Enforcers out there. We both know that."
Then his full intro including an underground evil lair and mad scientist at the end of E1.
E2 leans into the same MO for Silco. Until finally coming to the best episode (IMO) in all of S1 and it's E3, where things come to light. But he's still evil, vicious and spares no one. Silco appears to have zero empathy and is filled with a deep seeded hate.
"Silco?! You animal! Go crawl back into whatever hole you came out of!"
S1E1-3 Silco completely paints him as terrible from the Underground's perspective. Silco - bad. Vander - good. Both Vander and Benzo see Silco as a dangerous threat. So does the rest of the Underground feel the same? Do they know about what happened to Silco by Vander's hands? Sevika chooses him because she lost faith in Vander as a leader.
So, that makes me wonder if Silco WAS the brains behind everything from their smuggling business and building up the Underground to the rebellion. Vander on his own, seemingly, isn't shit. He is the muscle. WIthout the brains, he doesn't haven much in planning so he turns to making a deal with Enforcers instead.
By S1E3, we start to see beyond the veil a bit. Vander tried to drown and murder Silco. Let's remember one thing. Vander didn't just try to shoot Silco or they got into a fist fight and things got out of hand.
He tried to DROWN him. There's no way Silco went with Vander to the river fearing his life. Now, whether they went to talk in private and it got heated, you still have to sit back and look at Young!Vander and think wtf?
He is painted the good guy from the beginning. A man with restraint and compassion, looking out for everyone and especially his 'kids'.
It takes will and strength to smother/drown a person. It is NOT a quick death, it's a slow and painful death. Vander's intent was to kill him. Not once, did Vander think in the minutes holding Silco underwater that damn, this is wrong or overkill? You don't flippantly say "I'll never forgive myself" for trying to murder you slowly. Now beating the shit out of him and ruining his eye, yeah, that would make more sense from Vander, knowing he probably turned Silco into this worse person and fucked up his face, vision forever.
The viewer is left to assume it was something so fucking bad, Vander had to kill to stop it. Plus, Silco is already painted as the bad guy, so we presume Vander was right in trying to kill him?
So, what was so bad that this course of action was required? Well, it's pretty damn vague. In all of E3, Felicia isn't mentioned or hinted at ONCE. Not once. If Vander tried to kill Silco because of her, why do we not learn about any of it?? That seems like a pretty important fact, yes? This is Vi/Jinx's mom and she was a close friend? I'd say that's important.
Nope. Silco drags Vander to his lair and waxes on about fighting Piltover and finally realizing his dream of a free Zaun by any means.
Vander tells Silco he's never forgiven himself for trying to kill him, but nothing else is added to it? We're left to believe that Silco was either too powerful and influential in Zaun or that he orchestrated the bridge fight (that Vander was still fighting until the kids arrive and they see their dead parents).
This grey area is why the fandom has spent years trying to decipher what was so bad that it tore two brothers apart with attempted murder.
We learn in S2, Vander apparently "looked everywhere" for Silco and then wrote him a letter in a mine, hoping Silco might come across it. Well, if your brother tried to murder you, I'd say you would stay far away from him and not venture to old places in case he might try it again? Sounds reasonable, yes?
So Vander just gave up trying to talk to Silco and explain everything for YEARS? By S1E1 he and Benzo know about Silco and probably know where he is and that he's up to no good obviously. So why haven't they talked once in years?
Vander said he was in a rage over Felicia's death. But I'm sorry, none of that makes much sense and frankly takes the fire out of what created the fracture between two friends.
I would have preferred Riot not explain than give us a half-assed backstory of three happy-go-lucky buddies and the death of one is the backbone of hate, distrust and betrayal.
Again, Silco said Vander BETRAYED him. If they were arguing about Felicia and her partner dying, leaving kids orphaned, I don't call that betrayal. Vander's letter sounds like an argument that got out of hand. You don't just accidentally drown your best friend for the greater good because your other friend died in a fight ALL of you were fighting. You knew people would get hurt and/or die. It's reality.
It just doesn't FIT. It doesn't fit these characters at all in the narrative from S1.
Another reason I believe Riot never intended to go further with Silco and Vander's backstory is in the animation. Like I said above, S1 was littered with little and amazing details that we, as the viewer, have been analyzing for years.
The drowning was a VERY young Silco and Vander. Vander clearly has a beard and looks much older on the bridge in E1. The flashback in E3 looks like it was 10 years earlier at LEAST. That would be around the time Vi was born or a toddler if we're estimating her age by S1E1 on the bridge.
Vander beat the shit out of him and then decided to kill him by drowning. THAT is a major choice to make. That is a vicious choice. So we do see Vander as being more violent in his youth. So if the drowning came AFTER the bridge, that also doesn't quite fit either. He takes the kids and chooses pacifism, yet soon after, he's murdering his best friend. AND he suddenly shaved and grew younger, because he wanted to look clean and pretty before killing his bestie?
Zero continuity here. Bad writing. If there was mistake due to animation, they should have changed the backstory to fit than ramrod something else that looks badly done and makes zero sense to your audience.
Personally, I wish the drowning was PRIOR to the bridge battle.
It would make more sense if Vander was having second thoughts while planning the bridge fight. Maybe a separate attack went wrong and he realized they were going to lose and many would die. Silco, maybe having more influence or threatening to show Vander as a coward to the people is what finally triggers Vander to kill him. In order to stop this, Silco needs to die and then maybe Vander can convince others the fight is already lost against a superior firepower.
To kill Silco in that manner, signals to me, Silco was a great threat. Which means to me, Vander either felt he was a threat to him (since Vander does become the power in the Underground - the Hound) or he is beginning to feel like this fight is pointless and will change nothing. People will die for nothing.
Making it all about Felicia, just takes the fire out of rift between these two men all these years.
Again, she's never mentioned.
Silco even reflects in S1E3 that he still respected Vander after the drowning until he learned Vander was working with Enforcers and basically made a deal with Topside to keep the peace. That continues his pathway as a rebel and he's going to take down Vander with it or use him "what you really are".
Silco knows how violent Vander was and he's going to use it with Shimmer.
If we go by S2 timeline, then both Silco and Vander would know Felicia's kids well before the bridge battle. in S1, Silco would know who Vi is, at least and be aware of Powder. He would know this by S1E3 when he says "Have you heard the rumour? Vander the coward fled town with his children and were never seen again."
Pretty callous talking about his other bestie's kids like that. Damn. If Silco cared for her, then wouldn't he spare her kids? I just don't see this was ever about Felicia. It doesn't fit. He really didn't flinch in having Vi or any of the kids killed. HER kids? I'm having a hard time with that one.
I've said before that in Silco's eyes, Vi is an extension of Vander. When he finds Powder and she cuts off Vi as her sister, Jinx becomes an extension of himself, thus HIS daughter. It's like Silco's last "fuck you" to Vander by taking Felicia's other daughter as his own.
Overall, I hope to hell it's not some love triangle. Or either man was in love or had a crush on her.
I read some fans saying since the flashbacks are Vander's in S2, we're seeing things from his perspective. I'm all for an unreliable narrator with characters because it keeps things open for interpretation.
But we would need to see this from Silco's perspective, too—not just the drowning/betrayal. Silco sees this as a major factor in the direction his character takes. It's a life-changing moment for him.
We also don't see any flashbacks to the years Silco took care of Jinx after Vander's death. If he knew Jinx's mom, wouldn't that come up? Wouldn't that be something Jinx would remember and influence her?
In S2, she reminisces a few memories of her mom like nothing has happened since. She and Vi act like nothing really happened between them. By the end of S1, the sisters diverge when Jinx decides who she will be. It's Jinx, not Powder. She knows Silco loved her and, more importantly, accepted her for who she was. She was perfect in his eyes.
Plus, Vander's trio flashback seems odd in both animation and backstory choices. Silco looks VERY different than his flashback of the drowning. His hair is much longer (man bun), he has a widow's peak he doesn't have later (weird). He appears to care for Felicia and happy for her being a mom. They made him more physically attractive and older than the flashback in S1E3.
Vander doesn't look like the younger version in Silco's drowning flashback. He looks older too. Animation choices were made that don't match the continuity of the previous season.
We're assuming their smuggling business is doing well if Felicia talks about the Underground being much better for everyone. Are we still giving Vander full credit for that? S1 implies Vander built the Underground both from Grayson and Zaunites.
Silco jokes he is "Bozo #1". To me, he is joking but not in saying he's the mastermind in this duo. Without him, Vander's just a brute.
I'm not sure of Vi's age by S1E1, but maybe she's 10 or 12? So prior to the battle unless a fallout happened with Vander and Silco, why don't we see Silco with the kids? Why do the kids act like they don't know him? If they were such a tight trio with Felicia, why only Vander with the kids?
He fought at the bridge knowing Felicia had two young kids that could be orphaned and was still fighting when the kids showed up. He already knew Felicia was dead but was still fighting.
If her death was too much, why didn't he stop then? The kids appreance stopped him. Okay. I get that. But we don't see Silco anywhere on that bridge, does he know she dead? Is he still fighting? Where is he?
This whole polycule feels like they had to throw it in somewhere but didn't adequately explain it to match the motivations of the characters we have known and studied. It opens more plothole questions than it answers. It creates more problems that did not need to be there.
If Felicia wasn't that important to expand on last season, why do it now and do it poorly that contradicts characterizations already laid down in the whole previous season?
I'll say it again and again: Riot did not plan for it. They didn't think Vander and especially Silco would be so popular, and fans would demand to know more about them.
Plus, another thing that kind of bugged me:
When Vi is embracing Warwick/Vander and tells Jinx "He's your dad too."
Yeah, it's a nice moment, but it's a shit on Silco too. Technically, didn't JInx have more years with Silco than Vander? She saw Silco as her father (although not the best), accepted her, encouraged her skills, gave her important jobs, wouldn't give her up and called her perfect in his dying words.
I guess fuck that dad, right? He is evil dad and now he's dead, doesn't matter anymore.
Did anyone else feel like Jinx turned back into Powder this season? The kicker in S1, is that she CHOSE to be Jinx. IDK. The sisters were real quick to hook back up after everything.
As I've said before, they needed maybe three seasons if they were going this route. No character is getting enough time this season for good story-telling and character development. Too much is getting crammed in one season and it's sad because there is SO much story to work with.
I, for one, would watch another season of these characters. You could take time to explain the Black Rose and Mel's story. Ekko has nothing this season. Jayce doesn't have much. There's very little explaining and too many new questions that won't get answered in one season.
Vi became an Enforcer for half a second. Granted Caitvi only knew each other for maybe a week so for their 'relationship' to fall apart doesn't surprise me. But Cait bouncing back and forth. Jinx bouncing back immediately after Silco's death doesn't make sense since he wasn't the cause of her mental illness.
"Silco didn't create Jinx. You did."
Sister's bond quickly like nothing happened between them. Sevika is suddenly on Jinx's side with little work considering they disliked each so much.
Intro of a new character, Isha.
Viktor turns into Jesus and hangs out in the Big Bang with Sky. I was waiting for Machine Herald and got Jesus Herald.
Ambessa could have a better story but again, I think they needed at least one more season to flesh everything out. It's all too fast and packing way too much into one season of plot for so many characters. The sister's reunion is too fast. We don't get enough info on Warwick yet.
I hope, but they can't tie all this up in three more episodes.
Sorry for the mental vomit, but I've been thinking about this all week, and now it's out like verbal diarrhea. Even though I've enjoyed this season, I can't help but feel disappointed. S1 was so much better.

for the @dreamlingbingo
Square/Prompt: E2-Good Omens
Title: 1389
Rating: G
Ship(s): Dream of the Endless/Hob Gadling
Warnings: n/a
Additional Tags: 1389 meeting, Crowley's there.
Crowley's mid-tempt when Dream scuppers his plans to collect Hob's soul for Hell.
It was not an everyday occurrence when the Dreamlord himself turned up mid-tempt.  The poor sap Crowley was working on was already half in his cups before Crowley had even insinuated himself into the group’s conversation, sidling into a seat baring fresh cups of ale and whispered words of encouragemtn. It was not going to be his best work, but it was certainly going to be efficient. His target, one Robert Gadling, was hardly going to need a nudge to make a move on the serving wench he’d been eying up for the past hour, and with said serving wench’s possessive beau also half in his cups and all the more murderous for it… well, it’d be bang, crash, wallop, stab and a new soul collected for Hell before the hour was up.
Crowley was just getting up steam, waxing lyrical about Robert’s clear prowess in the bedroom and how the comely wench with the come-hither eyes just couldn’t stop staring, when he sensed a presence entering the inn.
A very powerful presence.
“Death?!” he says stupidly, cutting his companion off mid-sentence and not even noticing. Helightly dumbfounded to find the Endless (and top dog of the horseman) frequenting this grotty English tavern. Well, actually, he was expecting her later to pick up dear Robert’s departed soul and pop him on down to Hell, but that was business, and she seemed to be here off duty so to speak. Enjoying the sights, supping the ale and… in the company of her brother? That was, if anything, even more unexpected. Crowley was well acquainted with Dream of the Endless, of course, having spent a good deal of his time over his stint on Earth partaking of the comforts of the Dreamlord’s realm, but he had not heard or seen him on this mortal plane for… had to be at least a thousand years.
“Death?” Gadling repeats, seemingly not at all bothered by the shift in conversation and perfectly happy to go with the flow.“Look, I've seen death,” he declares, thumping his flagon down for emphasis. “I lost half my village to the Black Death. I fought under Buckingham in Burgundy. It's not like I don't know what death is. Death is... stupid.”
Crowley cringed. Death and Dream had both turned their attention towards them at the first mention of Death’s name and were exchanging unreadable looks while Gadling continued to unknowingly dig himself a deeper and deeper hole.  Well, Crowley supposed, it looked like he wouldn’t even need to finish tonight’s temptation. Gadling was doing all the work of getting himself smote by Death herself for his insults.
“Nobody has to die!” Gadling continued. “The only reason people die is because everyone does it. Well, not me. I’ve made up my mind. I’m not going to die.”
The rest of the humans at the table roared with laughter and Crowley risked another glance over at the Endless. Death… didn’t actually look all that bothered. There was even a small smile on her face. Huh. Dream, though… ah, Dream was approaching their table. Crowley ducked his head- there was no chance that he wanted to get involved in the crossfire, not when it involved the notoriously bad-tempered Dreamlord, but he needn’t have worried: the Endless had eyes only for Gadling. Satan, Crowley hoped he wasn’t going to lose this one to centuries of eternal nightmares instead. That would be annoying.
“Did I hear you say you have no intention of ever dying?” Dream asked the human, and Gadling looked up, his expression quickly morphing to drunken awe.
“Uh, yeah. Yeah, that's right.” he said with a nervous chuckle.
“Then you must tell me what it's like.” Dream said and Crowley gawped. “Let us meet here again, Robert Gadling, in this tavern of the White Horse in 100 years.”
The rest of the table burst into laughter again.  “A hundred years and I'm Pope Urban!” shouted one, and Gadling gave him a brief quelling look before turning all his attention back to Dream.
“Don't mind them,” he said.  “A hundred years' time, on this day?” At Dream’s slight but definite nod, Gadling raised his tankard to him in a salute. “I will see you in the year of our Lord 1489, then.”
With a smug smile, the Dreamlord withdrew without so much as acknowledging Crowley’s presence. The human’s briefly discussed the bizarre interlude before returning to more important topics of war and wenching. The pert serving girl of the White Horse seemed to have been forgotten by Gadling and what did it matter anyway? Crowley wasn’t going to waste any more time trying to instigate that particular tavern brawl. Gadling had been marked by the Endless. He was officially Off The Menu. Lucky bastard.
Ah well, plenty more souls in the sea, thought Crowley, downing his ale. Maybe he could keep an eye on Robert Gadling over the next hundred years. Who knew what manner of sin a man of his character could cook up in a century of living? It could be most instructive indeed.

BABY, YOU MAKE ARMAGEDDON LOOK SO EASY ⸻ introducing yoon eunseok, d7.
wait till you hear about this next nominee: YOON EUNSEOK, born on the 8th of SEPTEMBER, 1993 and bears a striking resemblance to SONG KANG. they’re a FOURTH year BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION student and ACED EVERY COURSE WITHOUT AN ATTENDANCE COMPONENT — impressed yet? rumor has it they’re hoping to be the COO OF THE YOON GROUP, but personally, i think they should aim a little higher — something like the king’s club, for one. now, that suits them a little more, don’t you think? guess we’ll just have to see if they’ve got the talent for it in our upcoming recruitment round.
hello!! i'm shrimps, (25, she/they) like the fried rice, and i'm very excited to terrorize your lovely muses with my lil guy eunseokkie! i'm hoping to get around to my dms soon-ish (i'm kissing your foreheads, btw), but feel free to leave a like and i'll appear in your walls! if you'd rather plot on disco, just lmk.
BACKGROUND
pretentious nonsense full bio
tl;dr : guy who's a supporting character in his own story suffers a minor existential crisis in deciding between (a) wanting to do his own thing and (b) fulfilling the role he was quite literally created to play. unfortunately, he's made this everyone else's problem.
this is subject to change if needed to fit with e2, but i imagined the yoon family to run a silicon mining business that skyrocketed in no small part due to eunseok's father marrying into a family that manufactures semiconductors.
eunseok's father . . . now there's a real schemer. everything he did was designed to gain control of the family company, and eunseok was no exception. eunseok has grown up acutely aware of this, and is completely normal and unaffected as a result.
eunseok wasn't always a menace!! eunseok always had a predilection for mischief, but genuinely tried to be the perfect heir as a child — though he soon realized that nothing he did really mattered. if he did everything he was supposed to do, fine. that was the minimum expectation. if he acted out, the consequences would just be swept away like the trouble never happened. yoon eunseok had a very particular role to fulfill, you see, and something like proper parenting wasn't going to get in the way of eunseok's father's plan to take over the family company.
and so a monster was born.
2013 (+ 2016) : invited to the club to terrorize the other initiates. wish i was joking about this one. driven to succeed because (a) he plays to win and this is the sort of environment he thrives in, unfortunately, and (b) as a fuck you to the other initiates in his class. interestingly, the actual benefits of being in the king's club are at most a tertiary motivation to eunseok — i guess one of the weaknesses of never concocting your own schemes is that you aren't great at long-term planning. throws notorious parties. kinda notorious, period — there are rumors that he'll hook up with anyone tall and beautiful, regardless of gender (this is true); that he races mclarens on the weekends (this is false); and that he bribed (true), slept with (false), and physically threatened (technically false) his way to the top end of the class. endlessly ambitious and seemingly insatiable, you might be wondering: what's the point, if eunseok's whole deal is that he'll trot obediently back to daddy's side when the man calls?
well, i'm not saying that it's the painful crash at the end. but i'm not not saying that, either. i don't think eunseok really knows, himself.
2024 : the pawn is put in play; the dog is leashed. placed as an evp somewhere, then named coo upon his father's ascension to ceo/chairman/whatever. appears to have chilled out dramatically, but time will tell whether this is maturity, resignation, or mere suppression. :)))))))
PERSONALITY
entj. waffles between chaotic neutral and chaotic evil.
character inspo/parallels include roman roy, sylvain gautier, dorian gray, the cuntier end of taemin's solo discography (stream eternal out aug 19!!!!), the weeknd's trilogy album, nero, and lestat de lioncourt. also my uni roommate's various finance-bro exes. lmao.
all of this to say: think of the most annoying guy you know. think of a shark in the water. think of a poorly-trained bloodhound let off the leash. think of blood, generally — something slick and thrumming and visceral. if eunseok wants something, he will take it, because honestly? eight times out of ten, the taking is what he really wants, in the end.
weirdly intense but deeply unserious lol.
he's no master manipulator . . . moreso a cudgel lol. does very little plotting for how often he seems to be Making Moves(tm). how things never really come back to bite him should be studied in a lab, or maybe made into a hbs case study, but he's smarter than most people give him credit for, particularly in actual business management (unironically i think he would thrive as a logistics guy), but he cares little for mind games and saving face and also likes baiting fights for fun so. yeah.
thinks everyone playing nice is a hypocrite and a dummy! comes across as super arrogant but like in his mind . . . he's just being honest? like, yeah. he's rich. he wins a lot. by virtue of him winning, someone else, e.g., you, are a loser. life is short so why are we wasting time pretending otherwise?
ooough i wanna punch eunseok just reading this back. ironically i'd still absolutely go to the club with him because despite it all you know our boy is good fun. also you'll probably leave with an insane story. but i digress.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
these r. rough but! i'm really very open to brainstorming!!
a childhood friend — someone who witnessed eunseok's various metamorphoses and who is probably the only person, other than eunseok's father, who was unsurprised when eunseok fell in line after graduation. i'm flexible re: the exact contours of the relationship (ride or dies for life! drifted apart! bitter enemies), but i like the idea of someone knowing eunseok better than he knows himself.
2024 : if yr muse is involved with electronics: i present to u the (pending) heir of korea's largest semiconductor manufacturer. mwah ok.
2016 : love, hate, whatever — the point is that eunseok is used to evoking strong reactions. your muse, however, doesn't seem to care at all, nonreactive to flirtation and fury, and that really doesn't sit well with eunseok. tensions are high; maybe this volatility comes to a head.
2016 : alternately, maybe an initiate who has gotten the idea of gaining eunseok's approval into their head (get well soon!). get ready to have your time supremely wasted, buddy.
2016 : another envelope-pusher. yeah, the king's club parties, but you two party, making recklessness a game.
2016 (+2024, maybe!) : the person whose door eunseok finds himself stumbling to when the party's over. in the haze between intoxication and sobriety, you get to see a eunseok that even eunseok doesn't get to see — one that voices insecurities and worries. it's a weird sense of trust, and not even one necessarily tied to fondness (though it could be!). it could also be fun, i think, if they didn't keep in touch but for eunseok drunk-dialing your muse. that'll make the reunion exciting, eh!!
friends. enemies. flings. i don't necessarily know that eunseok's capable of holding down a relationship but i think it could be funny to see him try. in 2024 his family's probably trying to set him up with someone, so that could be something, maybe?

Thoughts on S3 E2
(SPOILERS ahead)
There might be positives, there will be negatives, so please be forewarned that I am not going to solely praise the show. Also, it needs not be mentioned, I am but a single negative person on the internet talking about a fictional story. We are all not going to agree. With that said, let’s move on.
Episode 2-
They really did their thing saying diamonds aren’t the only things that sparkle and then cutting to Eloise.
How fake can a person get? Actively listening to your crush plan the downfall of your alter ego. Penelope girl.
This scene just further proves that Colin and Penelope were never that great of friends. Why would Colin ask to see how she acts out in public if they were already friends? He should already know that. I also don’t see why he’s acting as though he doesn’t already know how “awkward” she is, anybody can see it. Then again when is he ever home to see it?
“Not me. Them.” Penelope, dearest, I beg of you find a man who actually wants you. He yet again practically threw it in her face that he doesn’t want her. How much rejection can she take?
On another note, I love how they’re doing Penelope’s hair. At least she’s leveling up in one way or another.
I love the fact that lady Danbury is gossiping as usual.
Portia’s disappointment at the lack of an heir is enjoyable. Hopefully they’ll continue with this storyline.
I thought that Benedict was going to be the cliche “lady’s man” but it appears that Colin has his way with women as well. Not as if we could have possibly known this sooner because what have we learned of him up until this point.
I actually agree with what Colin is saying about societal expectations. With new people, you get the chance to rediscover yourself. Even just the jump from, let's say, high school to college, I think you may change because you’re free to reinvent yourself. However, if I’m thinking correctly, this is not his first adventure. Correct? So, what about this trip in particular made him so “different”.
Why did Penelope think she was so sly saying “before we are noticed”? For an area so enthralled with gossip, no one else is noticing that Colin and Penelope are spending more time together and walking side by side. We haven’t seen them in a public area holding even a fraction of a true friendly conversation but now that they are no one bats an eye.
Colin is finally interacting with his siblings but ditches them the moment someone else arrives.
How tone deaf can Colin get? Penelope all but proclaimed her love for him to the rooftops but his first idea is to have her “pretend” to flirt with him. Even worse, I don’t think he’s doing this with malice, but at the same time it’s sending me into a rage.
Since when does Penelope Featherington say “nothing at all”? Yeah right.
Ugh, this clip! Your eyes are the most remarkable shade of blue… girl, she’s a writer. I’m sure they could have come up with something better for her to say than some chatgpt poetry line. The second hand embarrassment, and as usual Colin wasn’t for her advances.
Colin should have known better than to bring Penelope to the house. I know he claims that Eloise was out but it is their house after all. He apparently had no clue what time they’d be back and was just hoping for the best.
Give me strength! Why does Penelope keep on digging further into Colins business? She never likes what she finds. Her reading Colin’s writing is not only a breach of privacy to the man she claims to want but also only serves as yet another way to humiliate herself. How much longer can this go on? The man honestly doesn’t want her but she still subjects herself to such torment.
I literally started laughing out loud when Colin found her reading! Oh my gosh! The strife!
Another nitpick, I feel like there was way too much blood on Colin’s hand for that small piece of glass. Then that loose tie Penelope put around it probably wouldn’t stop the bleeding. But I’m sure no one else cares about that, so I won’t go any further.
Colin knows that Penelope and Eloise don’t want to see each other and that should really be enough. Him trying to act oblivious and say he doesn’t know what happened is irrelevant to the situation. Penelope didn’t want to stay in the house, Eloise doesn’t want her there so why is Colin trying to instigate.
He was quick to shut down Eloise at the mere thought of Penelope seeking him as a husband. At times I feel like Colin doesn’t like her at all much less as a romantic interest. When you’re friends with someone there are obviously certain things you like about them, maybe even things you would seek in a partner. However, Colin seems repulsed at the thought of Penelope. Even when he’s trying to “help her” he doesn’t seem that excited. He acts like they are but acquaintances. On another note, I feel like his voice is so monotone, but that's neither here nor there I suppose.
I feel like Penelope has had more positive chemistry with Lord Remington in this one scene than I have seen with her and Colin this entire time.
Why does Colin automatically assume Eloise told everyone about him “helping” Penelope. They weren’t exactly making it hard to see that they had been talking more than usual. I don’t know why he is blindly taking Penelope’s side. He has no idea what's going on and you’d think he’d hold some sort of solidarity with his sister. I feel absolutely no sympathy for Penelope, girl go ahead and cry. She should have ditched Colin, she knew this was a bad idea from the start.
Although I like Eloise, Cressida lowkey told her what she needed to hear. Yet again a Bridgerton jumping to conclusions. Both Eloise and Penelope are hypocritical for commenting on Cressida’s tendency to gossip when it appears that’s all they do.
…never before have I felt this close to being on the brink of insanity. PENELOPE! I wish she’d understand that you cannot simply do the same thing over and over. How many more ways can one profess their unrequited love before they move on? You know what her claiming she doesn’t want to die before being kissed gives me the vibes of? Exes that say if you leave me, I’ll die or I’ll harm myself. That is absolutely so manipulative. Time and time again Colin has shown no interest in her that she has had to resort to the possibility of hypothetical death. I’m surprised this hasn’t been more cause of contention. This kiss means absolutely nothing. If anything it is discrediting any sort of “cute friends to lovers” storyline that could have been. This is nothing more than a guilt trip.

Moonlight Chicken Liveblogging Ep 1-3
yes I took notes. by mid E2 I was obsessed & got wordy.
Enjoying how this drama started with a sex scene and then withholds more sexual intimacy while showing how much a relationship & trust can be slowly built by actions and gestures of affection. I love a 'typical romance arc in reverse'.
Ep 1 I watched the entire meeting to one night stand sequence 3 times asdfghjk
Captures the simmering desire and anticipation so well. Director had me by the throat the entire time.
Tumblr media
I saw commenters at MDL and elsewhere saying actor who plays Jim is too young to play 39. But bro, (a) somehow it's also ok for a 23 year old to play a high school student - acting! and (b) I know people at 35 who could pass for 45 and visa versa. Everyone's body ages differently. I can completely buy him as on the cusp of 40. 40 isn't dead! One of my friends is 44 and hits the club near every weekend. I swear some of these kids just don't know anyone over 25. When was in my 30s I already had divorced friends who were tired af and felt old. Let people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s both live like they're in their 20s some days and other days complain about being old as dirt. We contain multitudes, I promise.
Ep 2
hot young One Night Stand shows up to for real pretend work at the chicken rice shop until this man falls in love with him. There is no orgasm grand enough to make me work food service when I don't have to. I would call it insane behavior except that, note, i watched the night they met 3 times and sexual tension & quiet intimacy of it is HAUNTING ME and I only saw snippets of it on tv screen. so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the way the random neighborhood teens keep being like...? wasn't that the drunk guy? why does he show up for shifts here now?
and Jim literally does not have an excuse for ANY of this nonsense so he just looks like he wishes a trap door would open and mutters about adult business. Sir u are a whole CLOWN. what are u doing? 🤡🤡🤡
(well, kids. I had a life changing moment of intimacy with a stranger one night and now he keeps hovering around under shakey pretexts because he knows that I know that he wants me to give us a chance and I'm scared out of my mind and have 199 tons of baggage but he's so hot and he looks at me like I could be his whole world, if only I'd let him in. so i let him wait tables at night to be close to me while I struggle not to crumble under internalized homophobia and the weight of my debts, because capitalism. ADULT STUFF.)
Tumblr media
I really like the set up for this couple. 1st episode shows their instant connection, how they're drawn together and find comfort in each other's presence. Then 2nd episode show us the gap that would have to be closed: what Wen dreams of is beautiful but also simple - making a home with someone, a place where he can rest and not feel the weight of the day. He clearly feels that Jim is the right person to do this with him. When Jim gently rejects him, he responds ok, I'm not the right person for you. But Jim is trapped in the bottom of Maslow's triangle. His dream is to get out from under his debt, keep his house, and fund his nephew's education. He doesn't see any space for love in there. It has nothing to do with the right person. Which is why he can't make himself fully turn Wen away. He cautions him that he can't be a home for anyone; he's not qualified to be any such thing for Wen. But deep down he clearly wants it. He wants Wen to prove him wrong somehow.
Ep 3
Wen actually working his real job! Doing... something idk some product management or city planning etc. He found out his dream man is about to be crushed under the boot of capitalism and he has to make presentations about the ROI. 😢
He keeps witnessing how important this incredibly hot man is to the community and it's making him yearn even harder.
and we get the ghost of boyfriends past! Past Boyfriend of Jim is the one who helped him start the chicken rice buisness. And promised never to leave him! oh nooooooo the chicken rice buisness was PROOF OF THEIR (DOOMED) LOVE 💀
They had a cat and a shop and a happy home. And now Jim is all alone. Oh, because his man was a cheater. 😱
oh FUUUUCK. See, I get this so much. He used to argue with his sister if m/m love really exists, or if only m/f love is real. And he said he'd show her. Then the guy he settled down with and basically married then cheated on him with a woman. Now, I'm close to this character's generation and I get why that fucked him up bad. Yes bisexuality is a thing and totally valid but when he grew up it was seen as debateable if women could truly love each other & be satisfied with only that. Same with men/men. So this would have felt like his sister and everyone who'd been saying such things in his hearing since he was a kid... They won. He's older now and knows intellectually that this is bullshit. But I so get why this screwed with him and he has to fight against buying into their narrative of his story.
The fact that he confesses the story to Wen though - he wants babygirl to understand why he can't do this, but the openness and communication is just making it more and more clear why Wen knows he has a chance and why they do work. Jim never says yes but doesn't say never and he's allowing Wen into his life and opening doors.
some of these scene to scene cuts are so rough. dear editor wyd ;)
But then Wen confesses he's on the demolition project. Noooooooooo the man of his dreams doesn't want his free labor & in-person pining tonight.
lmaooooo even when they're fighting he stops to coax his pseudo step-nephew.
The millennial lgbt urge to mentor stray baby gays.
Can't even imagine handling all my old disaster gay mess and also playing guardian to a teenager who doesn't want to study or raise his GPA but expects to make a great life for himself on his own in the USA by working odd jobs, without (again, the studying) gaining english fluency. This is all painfully realistic and Jim is honestly way more chill about this situation than I'd be.
LMAOOOOOOO Wen's step dad is pretty chill himself and accepting, and then Jim shows up and he's like, ..you call him uncle? I felt like I could see him wondering if this is like a daddy kink situation 😂😭. But Dad can roll with this, I am totally seeing where Wen gets his...how he is lol.
This is like the perfect example of an age gap couple where the generation difference makes it work better. They have differing perspectives but they ultimately appreciate that about each other. And it's not that vibe where older man is guiding a naive young person. There is actually zero daddy dynamics involved here. Jim is not a fatherly figure to him in any way. Wen is late 20's uni graduate with a job and he doesn't feel virginal or hapless or ignorant at all. He has his own insights and Jim legitimately is interested in hearing his thoughts & advice. The drama seems pretty thoughtful about portraying a relationship between 2 people who are from different generations of the queer community.

Weekly Jungkook Fanfic Recs
Tumblr media
Some fine JK fics for your reading pleasure. 🔞 Please show your appreciation to all the wonderful authors :)
Disaster Management: An important investor wants to withdraw from a future project at Jeon Security, and you, the company’s President, are to handle things before they blow over. A task that would have been easy despite the meeting’s location being the investor’s daughter’s wedding. Only – the presence of your unruly CEO, Jeon Jungkook, by your side the entire night when paired with alcohol… may lead to way bigger disasters than what the two of you can manage. https://jimilter.tumblr.com/post/691227415314382848/disaster-management-jjk-m
Something In The Water: Waking up to your best friend slamming his fist against your front door at the ass-crack of dawn is no pleasant occurrence. Well, that's until you discover he's accompanied by your mismatched gang of pals, and the one and only Jeon Jeongguk. https://www.wattpad.com/422225854-something-in-the-water-%E2%88%99-jjk-%E2%9C%93-prelude
Wanted: You were a deserter, a renegade, a wanted “criminal”. It was never in your plans to crash land on that planet, and it most certainly wasn’t in your plans to fall in love with it’s handsome ruler. https://jincherie.tumblr.com/post/169771550994/wanted-01
This Mortal Coil: Some might say that being in love with your best friend is the single worst thing that can happen to you. That’s the least of your problems, though, because you’re still waiting to find your fated mate, you’re not getting any younger, and Jungkook is painfully, tragically human. Little do you know, your laundry list of problems is about to get a little bit longer–because there’s more to Jungkook than meets the eye. https://jinfizz.tumblr.com/post/658153050236665856/this-mortal-coil-m-jjk
Push & Pull : You have a thing for Jungkook's thighs and he is not complaining. https://www.tumblr.com/euphoricdimple/740463770324844544/push-and-pull-18-mdni
Love Shop: You wanted the boyfriend experience at the Love Shop… You didn’t think it would turn into more. https://jjungkookislife.tumblr.com/post/628088906987061248/love-shop
Cat Got Your Tongue: You were exhausted from schoolwork and just needed a chance to unwind. Jungkook, campus fuckboy, offers his services to help alleviate the stress from studying but is he going to cause more stress than he relieves? https://www.tumblr.com/jessikahathaway/720150443555225600/cat-got-your-tongue-jjk-m
Eat Me: You accuse all men of not knowing how to make women cum, and your best friend, ever the competitive one, challenges you to let him show you that he doesn’t fall into that category. Blame the tequila for what ensues. https://7deadlysinsfics.tumblr.com/post/676959553055784960/eat-me-jjk Red: You met him while on vacation, at a bar in Rio. You were there for pleasure, and although he was there for business, he found pleasure with you. https://archiveofourown.org/works/24990850
Blue Spring: Jeon Jungkook, well known as the youngest (and hottest) dad at the daycare, he’s got it all, the looks, the sweetheart personality, the body, but here’s what gets everyone- he doesn’t wear a wedding ring. The only problem lies in his fickle one year old daughter that hates just about every daycare worker out there… Well…besides you that is. Which of course leads to Jungkook liking you just as much as his daughter…if not maybe a little too much. https://adonis-koo.tumblr.com/post/619058074812088320/blue-spring

*sigh* welp- guess it's time.
The Battle of Ships
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"C10."
"Missed me."
Azul wanted to pull his hair out. This kind of stress wasn't good for him. Running an entire business as an entire teenager was stressful enough as it was, but life wanted to make it all worse for him.
"You know that's the fifth time you've missed me, right? I've already taken down 1 one of your submarines and a destroyer too."
"Shut it."
Azul growled out pushing in yet another white peg into the top of his board. Idia didn't seem to mind Azul growing hostility though. No he seemed to reveling in his junior's despair. Almost as though he was tasting a fine wine. His sharp white teeth twisted into an unnaturally big grin, his eyes almost covered from the wideness of his cheeks.
"You made a pretty L decision by challenging me to this duel y'know."
"It isn't a duel, it is merely a board game-"
"HA, 'just a game' my ass! You thought you could beat me at battleship and take my dignity along with you! No way in hell am I allowing myself to lose this."
Azul pinched the bridge of his nose. Idia was right, Azul planned to take Idia down a peg. Club meetings were starting to become a hassle with Idia around. Idia could be both a sore loser and winner, both were rather annoying. He thought a wager would help entice Idia's competitive spirit, but now he regret letting Idia choose the game they played.
"Just play the game Idia."
"Fine, fine,..A9."
"Miss, B4."
"Miss, E2"
"Miss, F3"
"Miss, A4"
"Miss, J10."
"..hit."
Azul wanted to jump out of his chair, he finally got a single hit! But he had to wait to celebrate. Celebrating can be done later, after he put Idia and his ego in their place.
They stared eachother in the eyes, locked in a silent war with one another. Each fighting for dominance and the decimation of the other. They listed off the numbers one by one. Until their boards were almost entirely filled with white pegs and each only had one ship left.
This was it, the final couple of pegs. With only a few numbers one of them would be the decided Victor, and take the losers dignity with him as a trophy of his efforts. The loser? Well- he'd be left, no wins to his name and not even his pride to comfort him.
And unfortunately for Azul..fate had decided to take it's karma out on him.
"AHAHA! I WIN AZUL! TAKE THAT!"
Idia exploded with a joyous laughter. His hair flairing brighg yellow at the tips from his joy. He was comforted by the fact that he didn't have to lose whatever little self-esteem he had.
Azul on the other hand- he didn't know what to feel. Or even if he could anymore. His entire body washed with a cold wave sweat after realizing his loss. His ears ring loudly as he feels his hearts pumping in his head. This couldn't be real, it can't be..
Tumblr media
"Come on bud, you made a deal. It'd be ironic of you to break it."
Azul really wishes that murder wasn't quite so forbidden on land compared to the sea. That way he could kill Idia and just say that it was a matter of survival of the fittest.
He sighs, rubbing his new forehead wrinkles. "I'm well aware of what I said Idia. But would you atleast let me keep some of my dignity?"
"No." Azul hadn't realize till that very moment how punchable Idia's face was.
"Come on Zuzu~ say it."
"Not yet."
"Say it."
"Did you not hear me? I sa-"
"Say it!"
"No!"
"SAY IT!"
"FINE!", Azul slammed his fists on the table and stood, "OI OI OI BAKA!"
...
...
Silence complete washes over the entirety of the monstro lounge. Everyone stares at Azul, wondering what the hell he's screaming and why. It's so silent he hears Jade and Floyd snickering from the kitchen. And Idia has never looked more happy in his entire life.
...
Where the hell is an octo-pot when you need one?

How End-to-End Processes Drive Business Efficiency and Growth
In today’s competitive business environment, optimizing efficiency and driving growth are top priorities. A powerful strategy that contributes significantly to these goals is implementing end-to-end processes. These streamlined workflows encompass every step from initial input to the final output, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. This blog explores how end-to-end processes drive efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and support sustainable growth.
Tumblr media
What Are End-to-End Processes?
End-to-end (E2E) processes involve a comprehensive approach where a workflow is designed to cover all stages from start to finish. Unlike siloed processes, where tasks are segmented by departments or functions, E2E processes connect each stage into a unified flow. This connected approach not only minimizes hand-off delays but also provides full visibility and accountability for each step.
For instance, an E2E approach in a manufacturing company might begin with sourcing raw materials, continue through production, quality checks, and packaging, and end with delivery to customers. By managing the process from one end to the other, the company can address potential issues early and improve overall efficiency.
How End-to-End Processes Improve Efficiency
Reduced Bottlenecks and Downtime End-to-end processes help identify and eliminate bottlenecks that often arise in disconnected workflows. With each step interconnected, delays in one part of the process can be addressed promptly. For example, if a sales process is streamlined from lead generation to customer acquisition, departments can immediately spot and solve delays, reducing downtime.
Enhanced Communication and Collaboration Siloed processes often lead to communication gaps that cause confusion and errors. End-to-end processes encourage team collaboration, as every department has visibility over the entire workflow. With centralized information and shared goals, departments can coordinate seamlessly, reducing errors and misunderstandings.
Cost Reduction Through Improved Resource Allocation Efficient resource allocation is another advantage of E2E processes. By eliminating redundancy and ensuring resources are used optimally at each stage, companies can cut down on wasted time, effort, and materials. For instance, an optimized procurement-to-inventory management workflow ensures no overstocking or stockouts, ultimately reducing costs.
Improved Customer Satisfaction Faster response times and seamless service are benefits of streamlined processes. When a company adopts E2E processes, they can reduce delays in product delivery, customer inquiries, and issue resolutions. An efficient E2E workflow leads to better customer experiences, which directly impacts customer loyalty and business growth.
The Role of Technology in End-to-End Processes
Technological advancements play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining E2E processes. Automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software can manage tasks in real time and provide instant updates across the board. These technologies minimize manual intervention, ensuring a smoother flow and more accurate information.
For example, an ERP system enables integrated planning, which allows companies to forecast needs, allocate resources, and monitor results—all in one platform. By adopting the right technology, businesses can optimize each stage of the process and significantly boost overall efficiency.
How End-to-End Processes Drive Business Growth
Scalability and Flexibility An efficient E2E process allows businesses to scale without compromising quality. When all components of a process are aligned, businesses can handle increased demand smoothly, making it easier to grow. For example, a well-managed E2E supply chain process can adapt to an influx of orders without incurring extra costs or delays.
Data-Driven Decision Making E2E processes offer visibility into the entire workflow, enabling managers to collect valuable data at every stage. By analyzing this data, businesses can identify areas for improvement, predict future challenges, and make more informed decisions. Data-driven insights are vital for growth as they allow businesses to respond proactively to market trends and customer demands.
Continuous Improvement End-to-end processes provide the foundation for continuous improvement by revealing the complete picture of operations. With constant monitoring and optimization, businesses can stay agile, adapt to changes quickly, and maintain a competitive edge. The ability to tweak and improve processes on an ongoing basis is key to sustaining growth in a fast-paced environment.
Best Practices for Implementing End-to-End Processes
To maximize the benefits of E2E processes, businesses should focus on the following:
Map Out Each Step Clearly – Document every stage of the process, from start to finish, and identify areas where improvements can be made.
Invest in the Right Technology – Implement systems like ERP, CRM, and automation tools that support seamless information flow and efficient task management.
Encourage Cross-Departmental Collaboration – Promote a collaborative culture where teams work together towards a common goal, supported by transparent communication.
Monitor and Refine Continuously – Regularly evaluate the process, gather data, and make adjustments to ensure ongoing efficiency and adaptability.
youtube
Conclusion
End-to-end processes are a critical asset for companies looking to drive business efficiency and foster growth. By reducing bottlenecks, enhancing communication, and utilizing technology, businesses can streamline their operations for optimal performance. Embracing E2E processes not only improves efficiency but also enables businesses to scale, make data-driven decisions, and continuously adapt to changing market demands.

E2 Visa Dual Intent: Pathway to a Green Card
The E2 Visa is a popular choice for investors and entrepreneurs who wish to enter and work in the United States. It’s a non-immigrant visa, designed for individuals who make a substantial investment in a U.S.-based business. However, a common question arises: Can E2 visa holders apply for a Green Card, given that the E2 does not have "dual intent" like the H-1B visa? Here's how E2 visa holders can navigate the process of pursuing permanent residency.
Understanding the "Dual Intent" Concept
The E2 Visa does not officially support "dual intent," which means it’s technically a temporary visa without a direct path to a Green Card. Holders of an E2 must prove they intend to return to their home country after the visa expires. However, this does not mean that transitioning from an E2 to a Green Card is impossible—it just requires a strategic approach.
Pathways to a Green Card from an E2 Visa
While the E2 Visa lacks a direct route to permanent residency, several options are available for investors to eventually obtain a Green Card:
Employment-Based Green Card (EB-1, EB-2, or EB-3) Some E2 holders may qualify for an Employment-Based Green Card, particularly if they have advanced degrees, exceptional skills, or if an employer is willing to sponsor them.
EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa The EB-5 Visa is a direct route to a Green Card for those who can make a larger investment (typically $800,000 to $1,050,000) in a U.S. enterprise that creates jobs for American workers. Many E2 holders upgrade their investment to meet the requirements of the EB-5 program.
Family Sponsorship If the E2 holder has family members who are U.S. citizens or Green Card holders, they may be eligible to adjust their status through family sponsorship.
National Interest Waiver (NIW) Certain E2 holders may qualify for a Green Card through a National Interest Waiver if their business or skills align with U.S. interests and benefit the economy.
Tips for a Successful Transition
Plan Ahead: It's important to strategize well in advance if you’re considering transitioning from an E2 Visa to a Green Card.
Work with Legal Experts: Immigration law can be complex, especially when moving from a non-dual intent visa. Consulting with an experienced immigration attorney can provide guidance and avoid pitfalls.
Keep Documentation in Order: Ensure that your financial investments, business operations, and immigration records are well-documented. This documentation will be crucial when applying for a Green Card.
Final Thoughts
While the E2 Visa does not explicitly allow for dual intent, a transition to a Green Card is achievable with the right approach. Understanding the available pathways and planning strategically can make the journey to permanent residency a reality for E2 visa holders.

How Can an Artificial Intelligence Advertising Company Assist with Brand Building?
Tumblr media
In the fast-paced world of digital marketing, brand building is a critical component of long-term business success. Traditional advertising methods are being rapidly transformed by technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI). AI-powered advertising companies are at the forefront of this evolution, providing innovative solutions that significantly enhance brand building efforts. This blog explores how AI advertising company can assist with brand building through advanced technologies and strategic insights.
Understanding Brand Building
Brand building involves creating and maintaining a positive perception of a company, product, or service in the minds of consumers. It encompasses several elements, including brand identity, brand awareness, brand loyalty, and brand equity. Effective brand building requires a deep understanding of the target audience, consistent messaging, and impactful engagement strategies. AI advertising companies leverage cutting-edge technology to address these needs more effectively and efficiently than traditional methods.
AI-Driven Personalization
One of the most significant advantages of AI in advertising is its ability to deliver highly personalized content. Traditional advertising often relies on broad demographic targeting, which may result in generic and less effective messaging. AI advertising companies utilize machine learning algorithms to analyze vast amounts of data, including user behavior, preferences, and past interactions.
How It Works
AI algorithms can segment audiences with unprecedented precision. For instance, if a company sells luxury skincare products, AI can identify users who have shown an interest in high-end beauty products or have engaged with similar content online. This level of personalization ensures that the advertising content resonates more deeply with each individual, leading to higher engagement rates and a stronger connection with the brand.
Benefits
Increased Relevance: Personalized ads are more relevant to users, which increases the likelihood of interaction and conversion.
Enhanced User Experience: Consumers appreciate tailored content that aligns with their interests, leading to a more positive perception of the brand.
Higher ROI: By targeting the right audience with the right message, AI-driven personalization can improve return on investment (ROI) for advertising campaigns.
Predictive Analytics for Strategic Planning
AI advertising companies employ predictive analytics to forecast future trends and consumer behaviors. By analyzing historical data and identifying patterns, AI can predict how certain marketing strategies will perform and suggest optimal approaches for brand building.
How It Works
Predictive analytics involves using historical data, machine learning models, and statistical techniques to make informed predictions. For example, an AI system might analyze past campaign performance, social media interactions, and market trends to predict which marketing channels and messages will be most effective in the future.
Benefits
Informed Decision-Making: Brands can make data-driven decisions about where to allocate resources and which strategies to pursue.
Proactive Strategy: Instead of reacting to market changes, brands can anticipate trends and adapt their strategies accordingly.
Risk Reduction: By predicting potential challenges and opportunities, predictive analytics can help mitigate risks and enhance the overall effectiveness of brand-building efforts.
Enhanced Creative Processes
AI is also revolutionizing the creative aspects of advertising. Generative AI models can assist with creating compelling content, including visuals, copy, and even video ads. These tools can generate creative ideas based on brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
How It Works
Generative AI models, such as GPT-4 or DALL-E2, can create text and images that align with a brand’s identity and messaging. For example, an AI can generate various ad copy variations or design elements that reflect the brand’s voice and appeal to the target audience. These models can also analyze successful ads from competitors to inspire new creative strategies.
Benefits
Consistency: AI ensures that all creative content adheres to the brand’s guidelines, maintaining a consistent brand identity.
Efficiency: AI-generated content can speed up the creative process, allowing brands to quickly adapt to changing trends or market demands.
Innovation: AI can introduce new ideas and formats that may not have been considered through traditional creative processes.
Automated Campaign Management
Managing multiple advertising campaigns across various platforms can be a complex and time-consuming task. AI advertising companies offer automated campaign management solutions that streamline this process, allowing for real-time adjustments and optimization.
How It Works
AI systems can automate various aspects of campaign management, including ad placement, bid adjustments, and performance monitoring. For example, AI algorithms can automatically adjust bids based on real-time performance data, ensuring that the budget is allocated efficiently. Additionally, AI can identify underperforming ads and make recommendations for improvements.
Benefits
Time Savings: Automation reduces the need for manual intervention, freeing up time for marketers to focus on strategic tasks.
Optimization: AI continuously optimizes campaigns for better performance, resulting in more effective brand-building efforts.
Scalability: Automated solutions can handle large-scale campaigns across multiple channels, allowing brands to scale their efforts more easily.
Sentiment Analysis for Brand Perception
Understanding how consumers perceive a brand is crucial for effective brand building. AI-powered sentiment analysis tools can analyze social media mentions, reviews, and other forms of user-generated content to gauge public sentiment about a brand.
How It Works
Sentiment analysis involves using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms to analyze textual data and determine the sentiment expressed. For instance, an AI tool can scan thousands of social media posts about a brand and categorize them as positive, negative, or neutral.
Benefits
Real-Time Insights: Brands can receive immediate feedback on how their campaigns and products are being received by the public.
Improved Customer Engagement: By understanding consumer sentiment, brands can address concerns and enhance their engagement strategies.
Strategic Adjustments: Sentiment analysis helps brands make data-driven adjustments to their marketing strategies and messaging.
