I’d say most of them dress for practicality except for maybe Maddox and her little sister, Brodee is following in her footsteps, who dress aesthetically.

Bryce was contemplating whether he was too old to give Crash a three-story Atomic Wedgie when his son skipped up in his soccer uniform. His freckled face was slightly red and glowing from the exertion he put out during the game.Jordan chirped a greeting to his father and uncle as if it were mere formality, then turned all his attention to Alina and Brodee. “Did you guys see the goal I scored?” he boasted proudly.

Crash took his brother by the arm and walked a few feet away with him as Jordan chattered on about school, soccer, and the good response his tiger report had gotten.  “My my, doesn’t someone look handsome,” he said in a fake falsetto, “I didn’t realize a soccer game was a place to break out the Express Men.” He fake sniffed the air. “And cologne too? Nice touch. Smells like high school when we all wore Drakkar Noir.”

Bryce eyed his tattooed, deliberately scruffy twin brother up and down. “I see no problem with taking pride in one’s appearance,” he countered. “Could do you some good.”

Crash smirked. “Trust me, my appearance has in no way affected my ability to meet women. Well, that and the fact I play in a band. Automatic panty-dropper. But I digress.” He leaned in closer. “Ask. Her. Out. You. Tool.” He bit off each word sharply.

“I was thinking about it.” Bryce replied, trying to play it cool but knowing his twin would see right through it.

“No thinking, just do it. That’s what got you in trouble the other day.”

“Jordan told you?”

“Naturally. You know, it’s a sad day when your ten-year-old has more game with women than you, Bryce.” He gestured over to Jordan, who was engaged in animated chatter with Alina and his cousin, “Make the kid proud. Ask her out. I’ll take him home with me. You take her for coffee or something.”

“But...”

“No guts, no glory, tool.”
