Went to in-laws for Easter today and held hands with some guy I don't know in a prayer circle to say blessing.

And after he tells me "you have really soft hands"

Which might sound weird right

Except I've gotten back into skin care in the last year and all the products that go on my face also go on my hands bc I take care of those things. I'm in so deep I even wear sun protection gloves when I drive.

So basically I'm trying to say that having a random guy tell me my hands are soft af is incredibly validating HELL YEAH. LET'S GO!!!

Ryley headcanon simply because it's something I do a lot as a person that works with her hands.

He breaks his nails a lot while working, chiping them while moving stuff or when a tool slips, but he has a sensory squick about the way broken nails catch on clothes so he has a nailfile and keeps them short and blunt

So after Chapter 18, there were a few theories going around that Papa V must be female because their hand’s shadow had nails. And while the common response was to point out how Terzo’s gloves had claws, I think we were neglecting to also consider THESE:

We keep calling Copia the rat, meanwhile Nihil’s out here doing the tapping rhythm from “9 to 5”, slicing the air with a single hand movement no wonder he needs an oxygen tank —

i was talking to my coworker today about my nails and he has long nails too he was like omg ur nails are so strong and healthy tho... and then was surprised u can fold it like paper -_- his are longer than mine and so hard they don't bend at all

i still get pissed off about that serving job i had for a couple months if only due to what it did to my nails. like after 5 entire fucking years i managed to break my nail biting habit and grow my nails out a lot!! but i kept breaking them while serving, and we had to keep them below a certain length, AND i got so stressed from working there i got the habit back in full :/

i’m now trying to kick it again, and i’m making some progress! but i’m like so mad about it because i like having long nails! i like being able to paint them!!

ok im treating myself and getting my nails done cause i finally grew them out enough to like actually do sth with them and babygirl im gonna get the funkiest kitschiest nails possible and im so exciteddddd

kinda wanna get acrylics again but theyre sooo annoying in everyday life & the upkeep is expensive plus it sucks to grow out your damaged nails after you get them removed... grrrr
