OH MY GOOOOOOD!!! This movie means so so much to me!! It’s such a nostalgic special movie to me!!! I am so glad I rewatched it, Jade is me but Chloe is my favorite 💚

This movie made me think highschool was amazing, which is so funny

I know some people didn’t like this movie for just setting the girls in high school with a talent show, compared to all their cartoon adventures - but I loved it. Especially now it’s like a time capsule for the 2007 coming of age (but in high school) genre.

For reasons that boil down to 'I don't own you an explanation," I was watching the hit 2007 film Bratz when I decided to spend a portion of my evening re-colour-grading various shots—everyone in the movie was so orange I was finding it distracting. The corrections, naturally, made the image flatter, the lighting less dynamic and cinematic. These changed images are not 'better' per-se but I needed to see the result because I was struggling to understand why orange and yellow was cranked so high. I get wanting your film to look warm but this movie looks downright spray-tanned.

The 2007 Bratz live-action movie soundtrack is so good. I’ve been listening to this song nonstop ever since I discovered the soundtrack was on Spotify. It fits so well, even though the movie wasn’t all that good watching it back.
