"Devoured? I don't know if I'm ready for that level of commitment just yet, so you're probably right," he snickered. Their whole encounter was just so playful, he couldn't find it in himself to mope or otherwise complain. Berkley, to his own surprise, could only indulge in this rare moment of fun.

"Nice to meet you. Chompy doesn't sound too bad, but people usually call me Berkley," he introduced, allowing himself to be pushed away by the face before sticking his own hand out for a fist bump — a gesture he found was polite, but not too formal.

At this point even he is wincing from the lovely myriad of bites he's accumulated over the course of their very odd and almost ritualistic game they've created... However he quite likes the outcome they've come to settle on. Maybe that was a testament to just how simple of a creature Ramiel was...?

Poli sneezes in the background, scowling over at them. He knew they were talking about him purely from their expressions.

"Tired?" Swallowing his bite, Axel is free to pluck another fried ball from the pile. Is Nadia going to kill him for digging through one of the small side dishes she intended for Jase? Maybe but oh well. Hell, it might even teach that self-centered prick to hurry up once in a while. "Hmm ... you know what? -- Never thought about it that way." The familiar crunch is welcomed as the demon stabbed the toothpick through another.

"I mean yeah, hitting an arcade gets pretty damn boring after a while." And what's the damn appeal to it anyway? Just a bunch of other idiots rubbing their sweaty and greasy hands all over the controls. Not to mention the overwhelming stench of a couple of others if Youssef wandered too far from him. "But it's not like that's all he's willing to entertain. I've been around a long time but he's got some decent finds in that head of his."

He might even admit he actually considers the other to be worth his time. Bedroom activities aside of course.

"Youssef knows how to keep things ... fresh. Probably not a dull bone in his body." That he knows of as of yet.

Somehow that admission made him even more startled, and he flushed brightly, smile wide. "A-ah... well then that's good!!"

"I... oh I wouldn't think I made that much of a difference," he dismissed shyly, waving a hand. "I just.. well... I know what it's like to shut people out... the world can be painful, but it's... all the more reason to reach out to people... It's like..gentle spite," he giggled. "Makes it sound like I'm forcing things but I'm not, I just decided one day that locking myself away doesn't help me...so good... I'm glad it's rubbing off."
