Coincidences

In catching up on some horror movies I've been meaning to see lately, I somehow managed to see two movies featuring David Dastmalachian in a supporting role twice in a row. Don't know about the odds of it all, but it is nice to see the boy get some work.

#I find the shape of his face pleasant in its slight deviations and he does some good face acting at times #The movies were Boogeyman and Last Voyage of The Demeter #Boogeyman was like a Taster's Choice Babadook and all-around sloppy even though the main monster was kinda cool-looking #Last Voyage of the Demeter was fun albeit a bit reliant on some extracanonical characters to steer the proceedings #and they did that “vampires burn like tinder in sunlight” thing that I'm frequently all too annoying about not being canon to the original #but considering the trope was introduced in Nosferatu and this drac looks pretty nosferatu-grody I'm not going to complain about that #Actually I'll probably write a full review on Demeter now that I think about it #stay tuned for that I guess
