There's something so funny, and sad, about Touya, whose thoughts and feelings about things have often been a mystery since we barely ever get his POV and who had done so well at maintaining a pretty stoic, uncaring mask around others that some fans to this day argue about whether or not he actually cared about the League (he does, it's just in his own way and he's in denial) or meant for Twice to die (he didn't), being betrayed by his own fucking heart monitor.

He was keeping up that persona so well, talking shit to Endeavor and not really responding to much, but the second his dad says he wants to continue seeing and talking to him every day, his heart beats faster.

And it happens again when Fuyumi and Rei say they want to do the same thing.

He might stay quiet about his actual feelings about everything for the most part, but he can't keep his heart monitor from going off. And he does eventually open up to Shoto and apologize.

I need 10 more full chapters of just the Todoroki's communicating with Touya, or an entire spinoff, just so they all can have some closure and bond, and Touya can defy the odds yet again and survive.

— MATCHING EYE COLOR BRACELETS

BAKUGOU KATSUKI as soon as you first proposed the idea to him, his response was "yeah, no." but knowing and insisting he didn't mean it, you still dragged him to the nearest store around that sold beads on your free day. not wanting to be there for too long, you found and bought your beads and other materials as quickly as possible. katsuki still made sure that the beads matched yours and his eye colors perfectly, though. saying how it'd be a waste in the end if the beads and your eye color didn't exactly match. while recording the tiktok, katsuki was glaring at your phone's camera the whole time. you gently nudged his leg with your foot, gesturing for him to at least smile a bit. he rolled his eyes, reluctantly doing it anyway. at first, it was the most awkward smile on earth, as you would describe it. he instantly frowned again, but as you smiled at him too, he couldn't help but let out a genuine smile, his eyes focused on yours. now, when making the actual bracelet, you had to help katsuki from time to time. his hands were sweatier than usual (he was nervous he might mess up somehow), so the string kept slipping from his fingers. when you both got the bracelets to the length you both wanted, you tied the string for both yours and katsuki's. since then, katsuki always wore it around his wrist. except for when he's training, he'd actually be pissed if the bracelet broke, especially if it's because of him using his quirk while wearing it. he also got a habit of touching the bracelet whenever he was nervous. there's a small chance he'd tell you, but he'd look at it from time to time, unconsciously painting a gentle smile on his lips. he thinks he's being slick with it too, but the hushed whispers and giggles from his closest friends when he does it tells you otherwise. kaminari was the only one brave enough to actually tease him about it, though.

MIDORIYA IZUKU you swore you saw his eyes get glossy when you asked him to make the bracelets with you. the tips of his ears up until his cheeks were a light shade of red. not letting his eyes shed any tears, he immediately agreed to do the trend. if you already knew where you could get the beads, he'll be more than willing to get there as soon as both of you are free for a whole day. but if you didn't, he'd be deep into searching and looking for a store somewhere not too far. izuku insisted that you two got the beads that matched your exact eye color. every slight shade difference in your eyes has to be on the bead as well. good thing they had a variety then. and you didn't realize it, but the both of you spent more than an hour at that store. I guess looking for the perfect colors kept us entertained for a while, izuku murmured as he rubbed the back of his neck, looking at you with a guilty smile. izuku grinned at the camera as you began recording. his eyes were closed, so you had to remind him that his eye color had to be seen in the video. his cheeks turned red, quickly apologizing as he looked at the camera again, smiling with his eyes open. this man was set on finishing the bracelets as soon as possible, too. his eyes were only focused on the way he slipped each bead onto the string, making sure they didn't slip off when he did. except for when you talked to him, he'd lower his hands a bit, as he looked at you with a smile. showing full interest for what you were saying. he always had the bracelet around his wrist after that. the mixed beads colored with both his and your eye colors was something he wore proudly everywhere he went. while at school, at one of your dates, even while training. he'd have it tucked in his glove, as to avoid it getting caught on something as he moved. he basically wore it like a badge of honor. smiling brightly when someone asked him about it, and going off in a ramble while explaining what the bracelet is for.
