i think its really smart writing how how mii and payne are consistently loved by the new world online devs despite being just as overpowered as maple. because the thing is, to the majority of gamers, maple would be playing the game the "wrong" way if it were real. she goes afk in the middle of a forest, she doesnt want to kill the cute monsters, she puts all her skill points into defense-- meanwhile mii and payne are significantly more conventional players. a mage and a swordsman who rely on their respective attack powers to tear through enemies and other players. that's way more common and way more expected. the devs clearly didnt plan for how balance the game when taking a play style like maple's into account because it just isnt seen as the "normal" or "correct" way to play.

BOFURI Season 2 might be one of the only sequel seasons of an anime that doesn't introduce any new characters.

BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. Season 2

I really enjoyed watching Maple and her friends conquering the different game events. BOFURI really captured the essence of online games: having fun! I liked seeing the different combinations of characters from the three different guides working together. The mix and match created so many fun dynamics! The highlight of the show is still Maple being unintentionally overpowered and gaining weird new skills when her friends aren’t looking haha!

The Vampire Dies in No Time S2

This ridiculous gag comedy is just so silly. I don’t have anything much to say about it except it’s manages to stay consistent with its gags and that’s one of the things I enjoy about this show. Draluc trying to positively review a horrible game was one of my favorite eps.

i'm still only on the first season so i can't speak for certain on the whole series, but, one of the things i really like about bofuri is how the female character's outfits are allowed to be both functional AND fashionable. you don't really get that anywhere outside of magical girl shows, and its really nice to see a show do that without the costuming feeling overly sexy and revealing.

it was so funny, the mc maple is so op but she is just so likeable, i really really enjoyed watching it!!
