I went to a fall festival a few weekends ago, and there was a midway with carnival games. One of them was a shooting game with an airsoft style automatic rifle and you have to shoot out the entire star on the target to get a prize.
It's horribly rigged of course. The gun doesn't shoot remotely straight, and the paper is too thick to shoot through with the number of rounds given.
All I can think of is cute carnival barker reader taunting Ghost that it's easy. Big strong man like him should have no problem. He looks like he knows his way around a firearm.
He pays his ten bucks and gives it a try. A valiant effort once he figures out the skewed trajectory, but when you pull in the target to check his work, there's just a sliver of red left in the corners.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, handsome. Just missed. Want to give it another go?" you ask cheekily. You've been working the same stall all week and no one has won yet. It's basically impossible. You heard a rumor that someone had won a few years ago, but like everything else about your job, it was all a part of the con.
You've made a killing off all the open carry patriots looking to impress their friends and their dates. If you knew anything, this biker guy in the skull printed neck gaiter wasn't going to give up until he was out of cash.
"What do I get if I win?" he asks lazily, but with a lurid challenge in his deep brown eyes. And a cocky timbre to his voice, in an accent not from anywhere you've ever been.
"Anything you see. I got the best prizes here." It's true. Other stalls have stuffed animals and fidget spinners. Yours has a playstation, a motorized bike, iphones.
"I'll hold you to it," he answers as he pulls another ten from his battered leather wallet. You swear there's a crackle of something electric as your hands graze in the transfer.
Another spark of awareness, akin to a rabbit trapped in a snare, when he lays a staying hold on your arm as you load a gun for him.
"Ah-ah, love. Same one." From the crinkle of his eyes, you think he might be smiling as he catches your slight of hand.
"Oh, right, my mistake," you drawl innocently and switch to the one he already used.
He may have a slightly better chance of winning with the rifle he practiced on, but you aren't worried. You figure you can get him for at least three more tries before he slinks off in defeat.
"Check it." He puts down the gun before he's even spent all of the allotted rounds. So fast, in fact, that you wonder if you lost track of time somehow studying his concentration.
The bulk of his shoulders and the taper of his waist in those tight jeans.
"You still have rounds left, don't you?" you laugh to cut the tension as his gaze bores holes into you eerily.
"Don't need 'em."
"Suit yourself," you shrug as you pull the rope to bring in the target.
There has to be some mistake. You examine the card front and back. No red lines of the star remain. A perfect cluster.
"Now about that prize..."

I like your headcanons! I would like to see your headcanons about Parker and Pinky (and maybe Gord). And I would be even more pleased with headcanons about my OC Mary ^^
UUUUUUUUGH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY i love Parker he’s my fav prep and very closely tied as my favourite student too and i never see much stuff for pinky either, I love pinky! Ill dedicate a special post to Mary, I like to give everyone’s ocs special attention :3
PARKER OGILVIE AND PINKY GAUTHIER HCS
PINKY GAUTHIER
Ladies first! And to start I think Pinky is most definitely a lady, despite how young she is. She probably had elocution lessons from very young, likely as soon as she started toddling the Gauthiers were putting books on her still yet unfused head. She prides herself on having the best table manners, vocabulary and posture of the preps but then again there’s a LOT of pressure on her. Her marriage to Derby was likely decided before Pinky was even a concept, she’s known her entire life that the plan for her is to marry her cousin and keep the family lines strong, pure and untainted by the blood of lower class outsiders. I’d find it very hard to believe that her parents put any sort of emphasis on her academic achievements, they likely want her to make good connections and thrive socially. Ever since she was very little her parents have made her plan and host her own birthday parties. The mark of a good woman is how good she is as a hostess, after all.
Pinky is very naturally graceful, so her parents sent her off to a ballet school in Belgium for the first few years of her early teens, she enjoyed the dancing but very much did not enjoy the teachers’ emphasis on her appearance when she danced. Alongside ballet, she was also taught to ballroom dance and to figure skate. Pinky can still barely stand the smell of hairspray, it reminds her too much of having her hair wrenched back into exceptionally tight, intricate styles for ballroom. She keeps on with ballet and figure skating, although she mostly tends to skate in duo competitions with Gord rather than solo, she finds them more enjoyable.
Likes to be tanned, but will never go to a tanning salon unless she’s absolutely positively desperate. Then again, she only ever gets spray tans in the salon. If she feels she’s looking a little pale or sickly, she calls her daddy. Daddy will then get her out of class for however long she likes and whisk her away somewhere nice and warm. It’s the perfect arrangement.
Despite my first headcanon, i do think that pinky has still retained a good amount of her inner child. She loves the carnival, and will beg anyone and everyone to take there. If not to go on the rides, to gawk at all the poor people. Like gord, she admires them, but unlike gord she really relishes in their sense of fun. The carnival is trivial in terms of amusement for her when at the snap of her fingers she could own every single six flags in the country. Or have a waterslide built into the walls of her room right down into the Olympic sized pool the Gauthiers have in their yard. Pinky likes those that are outside her social circle because they’re so carefree, they can use what little money they have in their pockets to shoot empty tequila bottles with an airsoft rifle and win little tickets and they have FUN doing it! Now that is cool.
Pinky is quick to love, she makes connections easily because she’s been so deprived of interaction in her younger years. Her parents, more specifically her father, kept her locked in an ivory tower on their estate for as long as humanly possible lest she get any ideas above her station. Pinky is most definitely a girls girl, she likes doing girly stuff and in a clique choc full of boys she finds it hard to fully connect with the preps beyond anything highly superficial. She tries to plan girls days out as often as possible and she pays for literally everything, mani-pedis, new outfits, breakfast lunch and dinner. Pinky just likes being a girly girl, and when she’s around other girls her age she really thrives.
PARKER OGILVIE
Parker is just the sweetest person in the universe. You could not get me to say a bad word about Parker if my life depended on it. I think he’s a very happy go lucky guy, and definitely the person you want to go to if you’re feeling a little bit blue (aquaberry blue or otherwise) because he’s just so sunny! No one really knows how he manages to stay so positive all the time, maybe its because of all the inbreeding but he could be having the worst day that any human in the history of the world could have ever experienced and he’d still be basically skipping around school whistling like a 1940’s Disney character.
He tires to act all ruthless and cold hearted to fit in better with the preps but he’s such a huge softie, he just can’t help but show it, even if it makes him feel guilty (like the voice lines about the beggar). Parker wears his heart on his sleeve, he’s pretty easy to read, which by proxy makes him easy to manipulate. He forms strong bonds quickly and gets his heart broken a lot. He just wants to be loved in the same way he loves everyone else, he still hasn’t quite realised that a man of his station can’t love so freely.
The gnome thing started when he was a little kid. Every kid has their comfort item, his just happened to be an antique garden gnome. He took gnomey with him everywhere, to school, to bed, to cotillions. Everywhere. Once his parents found out his tantrums could be satiated with gnomes, his collection only grew. When his sister was born, he was given a small collection of gnomes by his parents a little gnome family painted to look like the Ogilvies, with a card stating that they were actually a special gift from his newborn sister. This made the transition from only child to older brother just a little bit smoother. In hindsight, his parents could have tried to wean him off of the gnomes, more specifically his nasty habit of talking openly with them, but they saw Parker wasn’t showing any other sins of stunted development or impaired neurological function like they had seen with many of their other old-money friends’ kids, so simply let him keep chatting away to the gnomes.
He’s got quite the knack for gardening, but fears he’ll be kicked out of the clique if he continues to get caught elbow deep in potting soil, so he opts to hire help in the form of other students. He gives them detailed instructions on everything, from pruning, to watering to propagation but always seems to find himself in the greenhouse at dead of night with a head torch on, cleaning up their shoddy work. Tad sometimes comes to help him, and they have a little secret corner of the greenhouse that they grow seasonal flowers in. If Parker likes them enough, he’ll cut of the best ones and make bouquets for his dates. He’s been turned down so many times though, that he’s starting to run out of flowers.
Has the most gorgeous, pin straight hair ever. Much to the despair of other preps (COGUH gordCOUGH) that have to rely on hair straighteners and countless extremely expensive styling products to keep their hair looking fabulous and up to par. Parker is usually good to go as soon as he’s out of bed. Just a light brushing to alleviate tangles and brush his hair into place and he’s flyaway free and good to go. The only time he ever touches his hair with products is days he knows he’s got big events, or will be doing a lot of strenuous exercise. He uses styling wax and hairspray SPARINGLY on those days to make sure his hair stays at its very best.

3-speed melania with skrrt skrrt ACEY Submachine Gun and "fuck your cams" ability
sonetto and matilda being those Zofia and Ela where one of them oofs the other i think you get bonus pts
eagle would be "what is an aimbot" when an enemy somehow headshots you and they see just a pixel of your head at spawn
i imagine if it was an AU they were just practicing in a field simulation (airsoft version) and all the gore was just fake blood tapered to their armor
sonetto and vertin see a breachable wall
"we must-"
and then just club the wall apart with their rifles instead of
you know
wallfrag and b a n g
then again a unit like Moissan can be the unit who can plant reinforced fixings on walls
meanwhile matilda tryna not fuck up her k/da and impact but her ass gets sprayed by sonetto from behind
-🌵
OMG this is so inspiring, I can't orz. I've been busy all week and its killing me that I can't draw anything uuuu. I can't wait for this week to finally end...
Sonetto and Vertin on ATK, now Im thinking about Vertin's gadget. Maybe something intel related, either so a role like IQ or Nokk, definitely 3 Speed, no question. Or maybe a ranged attacker like Glaz or Kali... Many options for her. Sonetto, a breacher (hard/soft) seems best hahaha (Imagine her with Sledge's hammer or making precision kill holes using Mav torch 🤤), probably 2 to 1 speed depending what kind of kit she has... Actually maybe we can even lean in on Sonetto's dog motif a bit, and let her have a gadget similar to Jackal's (!!!)
Matilda: "Merde, how does she keep finding me!?"
Sonetto: "??? So it was Matilda again?"
PS. Following your second ask, Dokkaebi is such a rare main hahaha. Valk for cams and Jaeger.... Spawnpeeker are you....? I myself started by maining Frost and Mira on Def, and Twitch and Zofia on ATK. Most recently though, I've been more focused on team utility, so Mute and Smoke for Def, and Thatcher and Iana for ATK (my head-on gunplay tends to be weaker, so I make up for it in positioning and info-gathering/prevention)

6.1 Firearms
Happy new year, y'all. Only one more of these to go. These last two will likely be the shortest. A great deal has been written and discussed regarding firearms and ammunition elsewhere by people with far stronger opinions than mine. TL;DR If it works and you can carry it it's good enough for me. Emphasis on if it works. Anyway, here's the essay.
From 1911 boomers to Sig fanbois, what gun you should carry is possibly the most hotly debated subject in the firearms world. A Glock fan may tout the reliability of their preferred platform, Sig fans may discuss trigger quality, And 1911 fans may discuss stopping power and the longevity of a platform.
All of this can be incredibly confusing to a beginner who may not even recognize all the terms used. In this essay we will discuss possible criteria for choosing a carry gun and look at some potential options based on said criteria.
When considering a firearm for use in self defense several criteria must be met.
It must fire when required.
It must not fire when not required.
It must be large enough to be effectively used.
It must be small enough to be easily carried.
It must have sights which the user can see.
It must be chambered in a caliber in which both practice and defensive ammunition are readily available.
The first two requirements comprise reliability and eliminate several options immediately. Cap and ball revolvers can be both pretty to look at and fun to use but they simply don’t have the reliability we’re looking for. Similar things may be said of many other types of antique firearms. Likewise the relative unreliability of rimfire cartridges tends to eliminate them except in cases where reduced recoil is absolutely necessary.
Most modern firearms are unlikely to go off unintentionally as long as the four rules of firearms safety are obeyed. However, some types of firearm may discharge if dropped at certain angles. Primarily single action handguns with inertial triggers. The biggest example of this is the 1911 platform. For these reasons the recommended type of handgun would be a modern striker fired handgun chambered in a centerfire cartridge.
It has been suggested by a great many people that, in terms of firearms for self defense, none are too small to carry and none are too big to fight with. A full size rifle chambered in .308 is drastically more powerful and almost infinitely easier to use than nearly any handgun. However, fitting a firearm with an overall length of more than a meter in a holster tends to be difficult. A single shot derringer chambered in .22 short, by contrast, may be readily concealed in a speedo but generally has no sights to speak of and a power level best described as anemic.
The challenge comes in finding a suitable middle ground. The best option here would be to find somewhere that will let you rent firearms to try out. If that’s not an option try measuring the space on your waistline where the fabric of your shirt (or other cover garment) is slack with space beneath it. You can then use that measurement as the maximum size for your firearm. If you have access to one firearm through a friend or family member, or perhaps a particularly realistic airsoft model, there are several sites available to compare the sizes of handguns. [1]
The stock sights on most modern handguns are perfectly functional. However, aftermarket sights can provide significant advantages. For example, tritium sights can be seen in the dark [2] and red dot sights can provide better target visibility at range. [3]
When looking at sights, whether already on a firearm you’re considering purchasing or aftermarket, make sure that the front sight is bright and visible and clearly contrasts the rear sight. If you require corrective lenses to see try looking down the sights without your glasses on. You should still be able to distinguish the front sight from the rear sight without them.
“Corvid,” I hear you saying, “I don’t want to spend forever in gun stores staring at handguns until my eyes bleed. And we haven’t talked about ammunition at all yet.”
Mood. We’ll talk about ammunition in the next essay. For most people a Glock 19 or similar model from another company will be just about right as far as size and reliability are concerned. If you like to wear leggings or similarly form fitting clothing a Glock 43x or similar model from another company may work better as it’s slightly shorter and significantly thinner.

Selecting the Right Gear: Factors to Think About for IPSC Devices
Introduction
In the world of IPSC (Global Practical Shooting Confederation), having the ideal gear is essential for success. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or a novice, selecting the appropriate equipment can make a substantial difference in your performance. This article will guide you through the vital factors to consider when picking IPSC devices, such as targets, firearms, holsters, and devices. By following these standards, you can ensure that you are well-prepared for any IPSC competition.
Selecting IPSC Targets Understanding the Value of IPSC Targets
IPSC targets play a crucial role in training and competitors. They provide shooters with a chance affordable paper shooting targets to practice their accuracy and speed while mimicing real-life circumstances. When selecting IPSC targets, it is important to consider their quality, resilience, and adherence to IPSC regulations.
Factors to Think about When Selecting IPSC Targets
Quality: Look for targets made from top quality materials that can endure repeated impacts without compromising their structural integrity. Premium targets are frequently built from hardened steel or AR500 steel, ensuring durability and resistance to wear and tear.
Durability: IPSC competitors include rapid-fire shooting, which means targets should endure continuous abuse. Opt for targets with suitable density and support to stand up to bullet effects without contortion or damage.
Adherence to Regulations: Ensure that the selected targets adhere to IPSC policies concerning size, shape, scoring zones, and visibility. Utilizing approved targets will guarantee fairness and consistency during competitions.
Ease of Setup: Pick targets that are easy to assemble and dismantle, allowing for fast setup at shooting ranges or competition venues. Portable target systems can be particularly hassle-free for shooters who travel frequently.
Versatility: Think about purchasing versatile targets that use numerous shooting situations such as fixed targets, moving targets, or pop-up targets. This flexibility will improve your training sessions and keep them engaging and challenging.
Recommended IPSC Targets
IPSC Premium Targets: These targets are specifically developed for IPSC competitors, meeting all the necessary requirements. They use exceptional durability and are offered in various sizes and configurations to fit different shooting distances and disciplines.
IPSC Action Air Targets: Developed for airsoft shooters, these targets reproduce the scoring zones and measurements of standard IPSC targets. They are an exceptional option for practicing at home or in indoor shooting ranges.

Do you think you could shoot fast moving targets? Its for a story.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nDygaYbPwm4&pp=ygUOTW92aW5nIHRhcmdldHM%3D
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: You'd have to account for how fast the target is moving, how fast your gun shoots, and what your bullet drop is. It will be more difficult than a still target but not impossible. If it's moving faster than how it's moving in the video it will be a lot harder. If it's a person running or something it's easier to miss at that range. If the target is of a smaller size it's more difficult. But general advice you must be focused on the surrounding of both you and the target, and to improve accuracy hold your breath before you squeeze the trigger.
If you're asking if I can do it I'm actually not sure. I have shot guns before at a range but all the guns I own are airsoft, which creates a very different dynamic. But at the range I've been consistently the best at rifles so who knows, with formal training I don't think I would do too bad. This is all coming from someone with very little experience with guns, essentially none, an average Joe really.
The person I'd trust best is my brother but he's asleep at the moment and that could be for the rest of the day or twenty more minutes. Waking him up is a death sentence and I am too impatient to wait for him. If he says anything of use however I'll update the info.

Critical Considerations for Selecting an Airsoft Shotgun Canada
Selecting the optimal airsoft shotgun in Canada requires a nuanced understanding of various factors that contribute to the overall effectiveness and enjoyment in the sport. An airsoft shotgun serves not merely as a piece of equipment but as a strategic extension of the player. Whether participating in casual skirmishes or competitive events, the choice of airsoft shotgun can profoundly influence one’s performance. This article aims to elucidate the key considerations one should assess before making a purchase decision for an Airsoft shotgun Canada.
1. Shotgun Type
Airsoft shotguns are categorized primarily into spring-powered, gas-powered, and electric models, each offering distinct advantages. Spring-powered shotguns necessitate manual cocking before each shot, appealing to those who prefer a hands-on, mechanical feel. Gas-powered models offer a semi-automatic operation that enhances realism, making them suitable for players seeking an authentic experience. Electric shotguns, known for their rapid firing capability, cater to those needing high firepower in fast-paced scenarios. An understanding of each type’s mechanism will guide users to a choice that best complements their tactical approach.
2. Construction Quality and Materials
The longevity and performance of an airsoft shotgun Canada are directly influenced by its construction. Models crafted from reinforced plastics or metals are indicative of robustness, essential for frequent usage and harsh play conditions. Metal shotguns typically offer greater realism in weight and feel, which might be valued by enthusiasts of authenticity. Conversely, plastic models are lighter and might be easier for newer players to manage.
3. Ammunition Capacity and Reloading Mechanism
Capacity is a critical factor, as it determines how often a player must reload—crucial in high-tempo games. Additionally, the reloading mechanism should be considered; some shotguns simulate real firearms with shell-loading features, which, while immersive, may not be as quick as other systems. Balancing the immersion with practical gameplay needs is vital in choosing the right shotgun.
4. Effective Range and Precision
Although generally shorter in range compared to rifles, certain airsoft shotguns are engineered for surprisingly good accuracy and extended firing range. It’s important to consider the typical engagement distances in intended play environments and select a shotgun that performs optimally within those parameters.
5. Customization Potential
For many players, the ability to personalize their shotgun with accessories like scopes, extended magazines, or laser sights significantly enhances the gaming experience. Shotguns that accommodate a wide range of modifications offer greater versatility and personal expression in gear setup.
6. Budget and Local Availability
Economic considerations and product availability in Canada are crucial. Prices for airsoft shotguns vary based on brand, features, and quality, necessitating a balance between cost and value. Prospective buyers should also ensure that the chosen model is accessible within Canada to avoid excessive shipping fees and delays.
Conclusion
Selecting an appropriate Airsoft shotgun Canada involves a comprehensive evaluation of various factors that affect its functional and experiential qualities. From the type and build of the shotgun to its customization options and practical performance metrics like range and accuracy, each element must be carefully considered. By aligning these factors with personal preferences and tactical requirements, players can enhance their strategic capabilities and overall enjoyment in the sport.

How to Choose the Best Airsoft Sniper Rifle?
Airsoft sniper rifles are a popular choice for players who want to engage in long-range combat. They are more difficult to use than other types of airsoft guns, but they can be very rewarding when used correctly.
When choosing an airsoft sniper rifle, there are a few factors you need to consider. These include the type of rifle, the power, the accuracy, and the range.
Types of Airsoft Sniper Rifles
There are two main types of airsoft sniper rifles: spring-powered and gas-powered. Spring-powered rifles are the most affordable option, but they are also the least powerful. Gas-powered rifles are more expensive, but they are also more powerful and accurate.
Power
The power of an airsoft sniper rifle is measured in joules. The higher the joule rating, the more powerful the rifle. However, it is important to note that there are laws and regulations governing the power of airsoft guns in different countries.
Accuracy
The accuracy of an airsoft sniper rifle is determined by a number of factors, including the quality of the barrel, the hop-up system, and the trigger. A good airsoft sniper rifle should be able to consistently hit targets at long range.
Range
The range of an airsoft sniper rifle is determined by the power of the rifle and the quality of the ammunition. A good airsoft sniper rifle should be able to hit targets at least 100 yards away.
Other Considerations
In addition to the factors mentioned above, there are a few other things you need to consider when choosing an airsoft sniper rifle. These include the weight of the rifle, the length of the rifle, and the type of stock.
The weight of the rifle is important, especially if you will be carrying it for long periods of time. The length of the rifle is also important, as it will affect your maneuverability. The type of stock can also affect your accuracy, as it will determine how you grip the rifle.
Conclusion
Choosing the best airsoft sniper rifle can be a daunting task, but it is important to consider your needs and budget when making a decision. By following the tips in this article, you can find the perfect rifle for your next airsoft game.
