I'm a little embarrassed I put in as much time as I did to dredge this picture up from the dark depths where it perhaps belongs. But I had. A Thought. It struck without warning and wouldn't let me go.

See, I remember when this official art came out, and everyone was laughing about Squalo's monstrosity of a zebra print shirt.

The thought I had was what if they aren't zebra stripes at all? What if they are actually liger stripes? It would certainly add another layer to his outfit, which is kind of sweet in a hilarious sort of way. (Levi, not to be outdone, is hastily commissioning an entire liger print suit.)

Anyway, now that I look at the picture, I honestly can't tell about the stripes. It could go either way.
