Danny had been Phantom for all of two weeks before he realized he found a lot more joy interacting with his parents as Ghost hunters than he ever had as a normal teen. He had talked with Sam and Tucker about it, but they had just shrugged it off.
Danny continued to stop the ghosts threatening the town, getting stronger and more skilled until Jack and Maddie introduced the Ghost separater. When Danny had gone through the Ghost separater, he had been shocked to find himself staring at a different version of phantom than the one he usually saw in the mirror.
His mirror image smiled with glee and gave Danny a hug. "It's nice to meet you for real!"
"What?" Danny asked confused out of his mind. "Aren't you the ghost version of me?"
"No silly!" The ghost boy chuckled. "I've been haunting you since Mom took you from your basket in the hospital. I'm the one mom was supposed to raise, but I died during birth. Mom took you from the nursery and raised you in my place. I've been tagging along ever since because I wanted to see how life would have been with Mom."
"Are you saying I'm not really Danny Fenton?" Danny asked breathlessly falling to his knees.
"I guess that's not really your name," ghost Danny said. "It's technically mine. I don't know what your name would be otherwise. I couldn't read when Mom took you. I do know you were a twin though. Mom took you from a crib that had another baby that looked just like you."
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of Jack and Maddie returning. The two ghost boys turned invisible and phased through the ceiling.
Thomas and Martha Wayne had twins Danny and Bruce. Danny was stolen from the hospital by a grieving Maddie after her child was still born.
The only one who knows is Maddie. Jack was held up in a villain attack on his way to the hospital. Maddie met him at the entrance with the bundle and just leaves with a manic look in her eye and a death grip on the baby.
The couple left town with the kids because they wanted a safer place to raise their kids... not because Maddie became extra paranoid. No not at all.
Bonus:
Phantom is the ghost of Maddie's still born child. He haunts danny because he knows maddie is his mom and wants to know what it would be like to be taken care of and grow to adulthood. They got fused when the portal accident happened. That's why he is ridiculously powerful from the get go. He's a fresh ghost who has been fused with a teen ghost.

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Stats Equalized!
The show where we equalize strength, speed, and durability to decide who would win a battle of hax, skill, and versatility.
This Month's Fighters...
Michael Afton vs Gerry Keay!
Conditions:
No Restrictions. Alive Gerry vs Zombie Michael.
Scenario:
Gerry is sent out to do a follow up on a statement made at the Magnus Institute regarding a series of disappearances at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Michael sees him tampering with the animatronics after hours and, assuming he's working with William to cover up evidence, attacks him.
Note: this analysis is working almost entirely off the games. I've not yet seen the movie.
Analysis: Michael Afton
The year is 1983. Business is booming at Fredbear's Family Diner and co-owners Henry Emily and William Afton are riding high off the boons of their financial success. But their home lives are brewing with a conflict that would change their lives forever.
William's love for his work turned him into a very absent father. As such, he had no idea the kind of rivalry his oldest son Michael had forged with his youngest son, Evan. Michael had taken to tormenting his little brother in their father's absence. Scaring him with a Foxy mask, locking him in the backroom at Fredbear's, and turning Evan's favorite place on Earth into a breeding ground for terror. It all came to head when Michael stuffed his little brother’s head into the jaws of a talking animatronic.
3... 2.... 1.... CRUNCH!
The bite caved in Evan's skull. Hospitalizing him and swiftly killing him. Michael was haunted by the consequences of his actions as William all but disowned him. Driven mad by his grief, William vowed to put his son back together. By any means necessary.
After murdering Henry's youngest daughter out of spite, William took to experimenting on Remnant, a substance best described as the remnants of a dead person's soul, memories, and legacy imprinting onto metal to bring them back to life as a robotic reconstruction of themselves. He initially believed he could use this substance as a means of resurrecting Evan. But, by the time one of his creations wound up inadvertently killing his own daughter, William stopped caring, instead focusing on using Remnant as a means of achieving immortality.
Deciding to go three for three on using his kids as inadvertent Remnant guinea pigs, William uses Michael as a disposable pawn to experiment on Baby, the animatronic his daughter possessed. This resulted in Michael getting his internal organs punched out and getting warn like a skin suit by Ennard, a combination of all the animatronics William had kept in his little bunker. Michael did not die, being kept alive by the Remnant the scooper injected him with when it.... scooped him. But he did rot around the animatronics as they piloted his pseudo-corpse like a skin suit. It was not until Ennard ejected itself from his body that Michael could truly revive, the Remnant resurrecting him even in his mangled state. Michael now had only one mission and one goal, to get revenge on his murderous father and stop the bloodshed once and for all.
We know from the books that when Remnant is injected into a human body, it gives them a healing factor and allows them to see and interact with ghosts. This would explain how Michael is able to move around despite missing his... everything to make room for Ennard. The Remnant simply regrew everything. And it would also explain some of the stranger sightings he experiences in his shifts at Freddy's, from the Phantoms to the Shadows, as ghosts he's seeing. It would even explain how he survived being the victim of the Bite of 87, as he is strongly implied to be in 2, as him simply regrowing his frontal lobe.
Michael is smart enough to create multiple fake identities to get the same job at multiple different Fazbear locations and skilled enough to survive every single night. As you play as him in every game up to Pizzaria Simulator, he's even intelligent enough to competently run his own business and hack all the animatronics. Moreover, he's even smart enough to figure out how to interact with the after life through the use of retro video games. Retro video games and arcade games are among the many ways people in the world of the living have of interacting with the world of the dead, or the Flipside as it's called. FNAF World details Michael's attempts to reconstruct Evan's mind after his death as a means of making peace and FNAF 3 depicts him trying to use these games to give the dead kids their "Happiest Day" so that William's victims may know peace.
Unlike his father, who is strong enough to directly rip the animatronics apart by ambushing them, Michael cannot directly contend with most of William's victims or creations. Instead, he relies on quick thinking to survive the night, using a Freddy head to fool the animatronic's AI or leading his father all around the Pizzeria with sound lures in both 3 and Pizzeria Simulator to keep him confused and trapped until Michael can try and kill him by burning the whole building down. After all, Remnant can be dispersed by incredibly high temperatures, allowing for one to permanently put an undead soul to rest by trapping them and setting them on fire for extended periods of time.
Working together with Henry Emily, Michael set an elaborate trap for William and the rest of his family, trapping them in a giant maze before buring the entire building down on top of them. Michael would stay behind, letting the fire consume him with the rest of his family so that the nightmare could finally end.
Even now, as William returns from the grave once more to murder and destroy, Michael may return once again. Still stalking his father so that he may end the madness and finally see piece. Perhaps, when Michael and Evan finally reunite, the Afton family may yet see its Happiest Day.
Analysis: Gerry Keay
The universe of the Magnus Archives is one filled with monsters of all shapes and sizes. From the Boneturner, who would pull the bones through your pores to add them to his mass, to the Distortion, a nearly human reflection that is everything that it isn't. All them feed on your fear in one way or another, your fear of war, gore, death, or even extinction. But some monsters don't have a hunger to justify their cruelty. Some monsters don't need to be anything more than human.
Mary Keay was only nine years old when she saw the local doctor kill a man. She watched with rapt curiosity as Dr. Tellison bound her victim's flesh to a book, entrapping their soul so the doctor could steal their financial information. Mary Keay was only nine years old when she slit the doctor's throat and pocketed the book for herself. She was deeply offended by the doctor's lack of ambition.
This is the event the led to Mary's interest in the occult. She spent years studying the secrets of the Fourteen known Fears that sought to govern reality, always careful to never devote herself to the service of only one. Mary wanted a legacy. A lineage of sorcerers to call her own and aide her in her search for immortality. To that end, she married Eric Delano and sired a son, Gerard Keay. Then, when Gerry turned two years old, she murdered Eric and bound his soul to her book like the rest of her victims. Gerry was plenty old enough to aide her in her business dealings, so Eric served little purpose to her at that point.
Gerry would grow to hate his mother growing up under her control, as well as the tomes she studied from the library of Stupid motherfucking idiot Jurgen Leitner. He would try several times to escape her grasp, but with nowhere to go, he'd always come back eventually. Even death could not save him from his mother. As Mary Keay tries and fails at a ritual to give herself complete control over the Catalogue of the Trapped, her ghost returns solely to torment Gerry, blaming him for her death. It is not until Gertrude Robinson burned the page containing Mary's soul that Gerry was finally freed.
Gerry begain working closely with the Archivist after that, helping her hunt down Lietners and other cursed artifacts. He'd become one of Gertrude's toughest allies in her never-ending fight against the Fears. He's tough enough to fist fight and stalemate an Avatar of the Desolation, many of whom are consistently strong enough to burn human beings to cinders, smart enough to help a woman escape from the grasp of the Lonely, and capable enough to track down and destroy several books from Leitner's collection. He even managed to track down Jurgen himself and completely kick his ass. Jell, he stomped Jurgen so badly that Gerry refused to believe that he was the real Jurgen Lietner at all and elected to spare him. As frail as Jurgen was in his older years, he was still in possession of tomes that could allow him to collapse sewer tunnels onto people, so that's still damn impressive. Even when armed with little more than a pocket knife and a lighter, Gerry is still able to reduce Avatars to ashes.
Unfortunately, history would repeat for the Keay family and Gerry would find himself confined to the same hellish state of living death that his mother and father went through. After he dies to a brain tumor, Gertrude would bind him to the Catalogue of the Trapped Dead just as his mother and father had been, doomed to spend his existence as a monster manual for Vampire Hunters Julia Montauk and Trevor Herbert. It's not until the new Archivist, Jonathan Sims, swipes him from them that Gerry's shit hand in life finally gets brought to an end.
With a somber goodbye and one last Statement for the road, Jonathan burns the page Gerry was trapped in, letting him find his peace in death that he could not find in life.
Throwdown Theme:
youtube
Throwdown Breakdown:
Honestly, these guys got fucked over so hard that this might just be a question of which one goes "fuck it, just kill me" first.
Now, the degree of Michael's immortality and regeneration means that the pocket knife is gonna be all but useless. If the Bite of 87 didn't kill him, than the knife probably won't either. And Michael's avoidant strategies, quick thinking, and multitasking abilities would let him adapt quickly to Gerry. I could even see, given the fight's setting, Michael wiring the animatronics to attack Gerry.
But, Gerry outdoes him in actual experience. Not only has he actually directly fought the monsters of his universe, he's been dealing with the supernatural since he was two. Not only that, but the Avatars of the Magnus universe are generally a lot more varied than FNAF's animatronics. While there are exceptions, the Animatronics are largely one size fits all, with the weaknesses of one carrying over to most of the others. With Magnus, Avatars can be anything from a Doorway that drives you insane then eats you to candle people who can control fire. With Fourteen to Fifteen different Fear gods around that can grant people all kinds of different powers, Gerry's seen a lot more than just a band of killer animatronics.
This carries over to their strategies. While the Freddy head and audio cue tricks won't likely do much to a regular human like Gerry, Michael is not that different from other Avatars Gerry's seen. One look at Michael would allow Gerry to clock him as something that needs to be killed with fire. That is how Gerry prefers to deal with the supernatural, after all. Given Michael's rotting, mangled form, Gerry might even mistake him for an Avatar of the Corruption.... who are known for being weak to fire.
Michael is going to be hard to put down regardless and there are circumstances where he can overwhelm Gerry by weaponizing the Animatronics. He's one of the few in FNAF to come close to actually putting down William Afton with Henry's help, only really failing because Golden Freddy inadvertently fucked everything up. But, fundamentally, Michael's a survival horror protagonist while Gerry's a monster hunter. Gerry just has all the experience he needs to handle Michael.
If it helps, Gerry would likely sympathize with Michael. Might even track down William for him. Burning someone so similar to his mother would give him a lot of catharsis.
This Throwdown's Winner is...
Gerry Keay!

Looking to get a little spooked? Has nothing given you eerie goosebumps or chills up the back of your spine in the recent past? Well buckle up, sports; we’ve got some creepy things to share with you that might just knock your socks off and keep you up tonight. The scariest things in this world aren’t always the weird and the unknown as many philosophers believe them to be. Actually, some of the scariest stuff we know of are the things that seem realistic, familiar, and believable. And what could be more familiar than Wikipedia? The supposed modern-day font of all human knowledge contains endless pages and stories of human documentation — there are bound to be some really iffy, freaky, and downright creepy things in there. We dug into the archives of Wikipedia to look for the creepiest stuff we could find. After discarding plenty of unverified, unbacked, unchecked, and uninteresting pages, we found for you some of the most intensely creepy pages that exist on the site. This stuff is real, it’s supported by evidence, and it’s been fact checked. Even the things you’ll read about that seem supernatural, that perhaps seem extraterrestrial or otherworldly, those things are still real. No fiction here, kids — get ready for the worst. Before we get started, we’d like to thank Wikipedia for their wealth of messed up material — we had plenty to work with. Here are fifteen of the creepiest Wikipedia pages you have to never come across.
#1 Dyatlov Pass Incident In the northern Ural Mountains located in western Russia, there have been numerous odd occurrences, but none as interesting as the incident in 1959 resulting in the deaths of nine hikers. No one survived the incident, so we can only speculate as to what happened in the middle of the night that caused the hikers to tear apart their tents in attempts to flee, meanwhile wearing insufficient clothing to survive the near Arctic landscape around them. One body was found buried in the snow, face down; another had a fractured skull; another had severe brain damage, though there was seemingly no strain inflicted on the skull; another was MISSING HER TONGUE AND EYEBALLS. What on Earth could have happened to have caused all of this? To this day, nobody knows. Nothing quite so terrifying has happened there since, though it’s considered a dangerous area reserved only for highly experienced and adventurous hikers.
#2 Genie, the Feral Baby This was, at least, the popularized label for this little girl. In reality, Genie was the name of a child born into an incredibly and horrifyingly abusive household. As a baby, her father decided that she must be severely mentally retarded. As time passed, he grew to hate her more and more, and at about a year and a half old, he isolated her to her room to keep from interacting with her. There, she was either tethered to a toilet or tied down in a crib to prevent her from escaping. For about a decade, this persisted — until the Los Angeles child welfare authorities caught word in 1970. At this point, the thirteen-year-old had no verbal skills, could not communicate personal needs, and had no concept of how to interact with other humans. Abnormal, personality, and behavioral psychologists spent the following decade studying Genie for her delayed development.
#3 Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter Plenty of people in the world claim to have seen unidentified flying objects. A few even believe they’ve seen aliens or extraterrestrial life forms. Whether you’re a believer or not, you likely cast at least a little scrutiny on each claim made. Well, the Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter is an important case all of you have got to pay attention to. In the mid-1950s, five adults and seven children showed up at the Hopkinsville police department frantically screaming that they had been defending their small farm home from tiny alien creatures and their spaceship for four hours, shooting at them to keep them from getting inside. Several police officers went and investigated and, of course, found nothing. But here’s the thing — several adults and kids all corroborated the same story. And it’s not like they were looking for publicity. They packed up and abandoned the house that night when they claimed the aliens returned around 3:30 in the morning.
#4 The Hinterkaifeck Murders The story behind these gruesome murders raises a lot of questions and curiosities. Hinterkaifeck was a small farm situated between two small Bavarian villages back in the early 1920s. In 1921, the family’s maid quit because she thought the house was haunted and could hear footsteps in the attic. A year later, on the exact day that the new maid had arrived to begin work, mysterious murders struck. The father professed seeing footsteps leading towards the house in the snow coming from the woods but none returning to the woods. That night, it seems somehow each of the elder family members was, in turn, lured into the barn, where they were killed. Then the killer went inside the house and killed the two-year-old boy and the maid. The investigation went on for about 60 years, but no killer was ever found nor any suspects brought under keen suspicion.
#5 Albert Fish, The Boogey Man He was not only known as the Boogey Man. Oh no. This horrifying man was known by many names, including the Gray Man, the Werewolf of Wisteria, the Brooklyn Vampire, and the Moon Maniac. Hamilton Howard “Albert” Fish was one of the most sickening American serial killers of all time. He was a known cannibal and rapist and professed that he’d “had children in every state” (whether he was referring to being their parent or to have raped them or to have eaten them was unclear). Albert confessed to five killings and was a top suspect in the investigations of five others. Though he could have been dubbed criminally insane, his jury declared him sane and guilty so that he would be executed rather than imprisoned. Apparently, his last statements were given to his lawyer who read them and said, “I will never show [these] to anyone… [they were] the most filthy string of obscenities that I have ever read.”
#6 Cotard Delusion This is actually a very rare mental illness that has affected a number of unfortunate patients. This rare mental illness makes it so that the afflicted people believe that they’re already dead, that they don’t exist at all, that they’re currently in the process of putrefying (aka, rotting as a corpse), or that they’ve lost significant amounts of blood or internal organs. Interestingly enough, about 70% of people afflicted with the delusion think that they’re already dead… but then, 55% of them also believe that they’re simultaneously immortal. So… they think they’re zombies? That’s our impression at least! Dead, but walking around and living forever? Yeah, that’s a zombie. They’re real, live(ish) zombies. Jules Cotard believed the delusion was rooted in feelings of depression and self-loathing, almost as if patients skipped committing suicide and went straight from wishing they were dead to being dead.
#7 Clinton Road Clinton Road is a ten-mile lane located in New Jersey that’s notorious for its propensity to be involved in supernatural claims. The road is surrounded by forestry and seclusion, and it has gained a certain level of notoriety for all of the spooky things that have happened there. There are honestly so many claims and stories that we can’t go through them all in the space allotted here, but there have been claims of ghost hauntings, strange creatures, witch gatherings, Satanists, and Ku Klux Klan members in the spooky parts of the road. A local police chief once tried to shrug it off saying, “It’s a long, desolate stretch and it makes the imagination go nuts.” Some of the spookiest ghost stories are those including the ghost boy at the bridge who tries to drown anyone looking over the railing, phantom trucks that disappear as they pass drivers, and strange creatures that may have emerged from a long-ago-closed Jungle Habitat attraction.
#8 Frederick Valentich’s Disappearance Let’s return to some of the extra-terrestrial supernatural spooks, shall we? Plenty of people have gone missing over the years; it’s almost to be expected. More specifically, plenty of pilots have disappeared on runs, whether training or on actual missions. Frederick Valentich is one of these many pilots that went missing and has since never been accounted for. Back in the late ’80s, Valentich was flying for the Royal Australian Airforce over the country when he suddenly started panicking. He radioed in that an aircraft was following him, but ground control replied there were no possible crafts at the level reported. Valentich said it was 1,000 feet overhead and moving fast, catching up to him. His last words were “it isn’t an aircraft” before noises of scrapping metal interrupted the transmission, and he was gone. Investigators believe he must have been flying upside down and saw reflections of his own lights in the water below him — but we’re pretty sure such an experienced pilot wouldn’t make such a mistake…
#9 Flatwoods Monster Also known as the Braxton County Monster and the Phantom of Flatwoods, this horrifying figure from West Virginia is the stuff of redneck nightmares. Believers in the story think that the boys in question made contact with an alien being, but who knows exactly what they saw? As the legend goes, two young West Virginian boys saw a bright object quickly crossing the sky and falling onto the land of a nearby farmer. They took their mother with them, as well as a local National Guardsman, to investigate the crash. The dog came also and ran ahead, the first to reach the crash site. It suddenly stopped barking and returned to the group, tail tucked between legs. There was a pungent mist that stung the eyes and nose (and, hours later, caused vomiting and convulsions). A fiery object in the near distance illuminated a dark figure, seven feet in height and cloaked in a black exoskeleton. It started to bound towards them, and the group fled in horror. They were later unable to relocate the vessel or creature, but when they reached the area, it appeared that someone had come and left only muddy tire tracks where the UFO and creature had once been.
#10 The Silent Twins Nothing is creepier than a couple of eerie twins. Remember those scary kids from The Shining?? ICK. The only thing creepier than those kids would be a real-life version… Well, they exist. June and Jennifer Gibbons were identical twins who grew up in Wales. The girls, who were raised by Caribbean immigrants, were very attached to each other — too attached. They spoke in a rapid speed patois that none of their classmates or teachers could understand, so they really could only speak to each other. Their parents made an effort for them to socialize better by putting them in different schools, but they became near-catatonic without their other halves. The girls had a long-standing agreement that if one of them died, the other must live a normal life (speaking to other people and not being a creep). After the two were hospitalized in a mental institution for fourteen years for their issues, the two believed it was necessary for one of them to die for the other to be happy. Jennifer agreed to be the sacrifice. Her death remains a mystery — she was not drugged and was in perfect medical health yet died of sudden inflammation of the heart.
#11 Scaphism Scaphism is not something that happens anymore (at least we hope so… dear God, please say we’re right), but it’s one of those things everyone should know about so that we know how civilized we’ve become as a human race and what we should never resort to again. Scaphism is an ancient Persian method of torture and execution, also commonly called “The Boats,” and it was used on their greatest enemies, the Greeks. Bear with us, and don’t toss your cookies as we explain the methodology. The victim was stripped naked and had milk and honey poured all over them, especially focusing on orifices like the mouth, anus, eyes, etc. They would then be fastened inside two rowing boats joined together by stacking one face down on top of the other. The head, hands, and feet would protrude. The victims would then be set afloat on a stagnant pond on a hot day, attracting insects to nibble on and burrow into their exposed flesh as they suffered starvation and dehydration. This would repeat every day until the victims died of starvation, thirst, or septic shock — though hopefully, delirium set in early on in the process.
#12 Sada Abe, A Geisha Not to Mess With Sada Abe was a Japanese woman raised to be a Geisha and a prostitute. Many of the women trained to live lives like Sada Abe’s did so quietly, seeing it as their place and role in society. Sada, however, was not so easily coerced. Sada was seduced by the manager of the establishment she worked at, a man who was married but womanized nonetheless. The two had quite a fling that went on pretty much nonstop for two weeks, but he went back to his wife afterward. Sada Abe was immensely jealous and wanted his entire devotion. So Sada, getting him back in her bed, erotically asphyxiated him until he died. Then, she cut off his penis and tucked it into her kimono. She even tried to masturbate with the severed fallis once! She was eventually caught shortly before intending to kill herself. She turned herself in and plainly displayed the severed penis as proof of her guilt.
#13 Hungry Hungry Armin Meiwes When some people get cravings, they really can’t ignore them. Most of us try to replace irrational cravings with something more healthy or responsible or reasonable, like eating a bowl of frozen yogurt instead of a pint of ice cream, or eating rotisserie chicken instead of six steaks. But Mr. Armin Meiwes was not able to ignore his cravings — though he really should have. Armin, a German computer technician, posted an online ad looking for a voluntary candidate that would be slaughtered and eaten alive. And he found a candidate. The two started by chopping off the victim’s penis, frying it up, and trying to eat it together. Then, Armin killed his victim and ate significantly more of his body. Armin was eventually arrested (after posting more ads looking for more voluntary victims) and charged for manslaughter. Since being imprisoned, he’s become a vegetarian and warns people looking to follow in his footsteps (oh yeah, he has a fan club) to seek help “so it doesn’t escalate the way it did with me.”
#14 Unit 731 Here’s a real horror story. Back in the second Sino-Japanese War, which (for those of you unversed in Asian history) took place around 1937-1945. A Japanese prison camp officially known as the Epidemic Prevention and Water Purification Department, Unit 731, was actually a covert biological and chemical warfare research plant. You know what that means. Some utterly horrific things happened in Unit 731. It has got to be one of the most haunted places in the world. Historians estimate that up to 250,000 men, women, and children (primarily Chinese) were subjected to harsh experimentation here, which ranged from intentional exposure to horrifying diseases like syphilis and cholera to live vivisections to rape and forced impregnation. They researched germ warfare and all of the implications it could have. Worst yet, the United States offered amnesty to these scientists in return for the data they accumulated. THESE TORTURE ARTISTS MURDERED TENS OF THOUSANDS AND THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT.
#15 Hoeryong Concentration Camp We’ve had a lot of creepy Wikipedia pages on here telling stories of horrifying people who used to be, or terrifying places that used to exist. But hang on — this place is just as (if not more) terrifying as all of the rest, and it’s likely still in existence. Of course, one of the most horrifying places in the world is in North Korea. Though officially dubbed a penal labor camp, this place is an actual concentration camp for people who have criticized the government, have been deemed unreliable (such as South Korean prisoners of war), or purged senior party members. Anyone who enters the camp never leaves. Life in the camp is like life in a concentration camp, fully fledged with routine torture, forced labor, and medical experimentation. The US Government believed the camp was shut down in 2012 due to satellite pictures indicating a lot of changes — but we have absolutely no guarantees that that is true.

Jazz crossed her arms and rolled her eyes as. Her brother and his friends threw popcorn at each other. "I'll be at the library, you and your friends better have this cleaned up by the time mom and dad get back!" She said as she grabbed her book bag and walked out the door.
As soon as she walked out the door the popcorn ceased flying and the teens popped up over the back of the couch. "It's go time," Tucker said as Sam and Danny nodded seriously. The trio of teenagers headed over to the basement door and waited for Danny to put in his passcode.
"I still can't believe they actually finished the Portal!" Sam said.
"Yeah, but it doesn't actually work," Danny said as they walked down the stairs. "Mom and Dad were so excited they called a family meeting and tried to turn it on in front of us . It literally fizzled out in front of us. Mom and Dad were inconsolable."
"Thanks again for letting me get a Crack at it. Your parent's programming skills are so outdated," Tucker said as he plugged his pda into the portals keypad.
"They focused mostly on biology and paranormal studies, " Danny said with a shrug. "It's amazing they know how to program at all. Don't touch that Sam!"
Sam flinched and jerked her hand back from the metal frame she had been about to touch. "What's the big deal?"
"My parents never unplugged the portal. That metal could hold a charge." Danny said softly knowing she wouldn't accept an apology if he pointed out she was scared.
"Whatever," she said folding her arms and slouching to cover the embarrassment of her mistake.
"I cleaned up their coding," Tucker said, "do you want to see if it makes a difference?"
"Only if I get to push the button, " Sam said as she stepped closer to Tucker.
Tucker and Danny looked at each other and shrugged "sure" they said in tandem before pointing at each other and bumping fists. Tucker showed Sam where the button was and she pressed it. Just like before there were a few sparks, but nothing else happened.
"Lame" Sam whined. "This one's a bust. If we unhook the power do you think we can take a picture in the portal?"
"That would be so cool!" Tucker exclaimed as he gave Sam a high five.
"I don't know guys," Danny said. "This is risky enough as it is."
"Cmon man," Tucker said, "if there's no power it should be fine right?"
"Don't be a coward Danny," Sam said with a frown.
"Fine," Danny said upset that his friends ganged up on him. "But I'm putting some gear on and making sure it's safe inside first."
Sam rolled her eyes and called him a worrywart while Tucker cheered. Danny pulled on his hazmat suit and asked Tucker to unplug the portal. Tucker followed Danny 's instructions but unknowingly unplugged a different invention. "Ready!" Tucker called.
Danny gave him a thumbs up before stepping over the large metal rim of the machine. Danny was so focused on checking the floor Sam's emphatic "BOO!" Danny jumped and tripped over the wires in front of his feet. His arms windmills as he frantically tried to regain his balance. A switch was pushed. A glow lit up the lab and two terrible screams pierced the night as Sam and Tucker looked on in shock.

The baby ghost wailed as it was fused with the boy it haunted. He copied the other boys screeching as they became one. Their body felt uncomfortably warm as they crawled out of the portal gasping for air they had never needed previously. Distantly he heard the voices of the boy's friends as they panicked. But he looked at himself in the mirror unable to comprehend what had happened. His shock intensified as he recognized his face and glowing white hair. His ghost form which he adapted to look like the boy his mother had taken home was staring back at him. Something jostled his shoulder and suddenly he was hidden again as Danny came to and started moving his body around.
Disoriented but ecstatic the baby ghost smiled and clapped in excitement from his new little pocket of space in Danny's brain. Now he could play games with Mommy and Daddy. Now he could have friends too! All he had to do was figure out how to navigate this new shared body. He couldn't wait for the adventures to begin!
