Uri looked over him, her gaze decidedly neutral in the face of the young pirate. It wasn't all that uncommon for her to be offered a drink when she found herself in any sort of bar.

But maybe she just had a bit of a weakness for redheads.

Taking a sip of the offered drink, Uri let out a slow sigh before responding. "Wouldn't have brought it up if I wasn't open to it." She shrugged loosely, "I'm a good listener and you look like you'd have some good stories." Uriel cooed.

Shanks settled in nearby, leaving an empty barstool in between them. Not yet willing to push his luck. “Every woman'd put quite the dent in my treasury.” He chuckled and gave a polite nod to the bartender in thanks before turning his attention fully.

He raised his glass to her in response. She didn't seem completely put off, which was a good sign. “A drink to try 'nd woo? Nah.” Shanks shook his head and waved his free hand to dismiss the notion. “The drink's to try and get on your good side. The wooing happens in the conversation I'm hoping you'll give me.”

He took a sip from his own glass and smirked, raising his brows at her. “Assuming you're open to the idea...since you're the one bringin' it up and all.”
