An introduction to VERIVERY

VERIVERY is making their 2nd comeback on July 31, so this is the perfect time to learn more about the group! 💘💖💞

BASIC INFO

Group: VERIVERY / 베리베리 / VRVR

Company: Jellyfish Entertainment (VIXX, GUGUDAN)

Debut: January 9, 2019

Fandom name: VERRER (베러) - it’s pronounced in a similar way to “better”. It means “If VERIVERY and their fans are together, we can be better” and “People who love VERIVERY”

VERIVERY is a 7 member boy group consisting of Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung and Kangmin. The name of the group is a combination of the latin word ‘Veri’ meaning ‘Truth’ and the english word ‘Very’. The letters VERI can be also an acronym for Various - Energetic - Real - Innovation

The group was first announced by the company in August 2018. VERIVERY has released a pre-debut song called Super Special which is the OST for their 1st reality show NOW VERIVERY

VRVR has the concept of being creative-dols, because the members are not only outstanding in music and performing but also in composing, writing lyrics, choreography and making videos

VERIVERY debuted in January 2019 with the song Ring Ring Ring and accompanying mini-album called VERI-US

good morning i have returned and fully processed the tbz concert and wOw i love the boyz. there were empty seats close to the front so i moved into them and my fancams are GREAT ! hyunjae waved at me too !!!! and to be entirely honest i’m Not Done processing jacob bae’s entire existence !!!!!!!!

i Also have a lot of feelings abt noa thank you for asking ! first off if his power is related to darkness/shadows, i think it’s safe to assume he’s got night vision. obviously he needs to know how to move through the dark- and no wonder he’s the school’s star nightball player if he can easily see in that field at night. and like jino i can see him just Forgetting that normal people can’t do that. so going back to the kitchen at 2am, what if the student assumes the place is empty and flicks on the light only to see noa just sitting at the table with a mug and the other kid just screams bc “WTF WHAT WERE YOU DOING THERE IN THE DARK YOU WEIRDO” and then catching themselves bc Oh Shit That’s Noa Did You Really Just Say That. and they expect him to be offended and start tripping over themselves to apologize but he just looks really flustered and goes “i uh… spend a lot of time in this kitchen. yeah. i know the layout well enough that i don’t even need the lights as much.” and the student is like “… okay, i guess? why are you drinking coffee at this hour?” and noa answers that it’s hot chocolate because it helps him sleep sometimes and gives the student a hand in making a mug while they microwave their instant noodles and the student leaves very dazed and not processing the whole interaction but warm inside anyway

alright ahem. the noa feelings have ensued. HSGDJFBFJ i agree with you about the whole night vision thing, if he can CONTROL darkness it makes sense that hed be able to SEE in it—so i can totally picture him just wandering around when its pitch black out, chilling in the kitchen without bothering to turn any lights on because if he doesn't need them why should he pile more onto the school's electric bills like that? he likes it better in the dark anyway, he feels more at home. aaand then a random burnt out student walks in to heat up some food and sees him sitting on the counter, maybe before they turn the lights on he hears them and LOOKS UP at them and his eyes to the weird glowy cat-in-the-dark thing (because god help me now im comparing noa to a cat. its the night vision that did it), and the student kind of cries out like JESUS FUCK WHO WHAT. then they turn on the light and probably continue the rampage of cursing with what you said (because sleep deprivation will do that to a person) until they see that its HIM and just. immediately start nervously sweating. but hes surprisingly understanding?? and not mad?? and actually nice?? since he's closer to the cabinets (because he's sitting on the counter) he just grabs them a mug and offers to put the water in it even and theyre just like. .nno thank you. but thank you. and YEAH the student leaves feeling all ??? but also a bit warm and fuzzy inside, and not just from the noodles (and now i will forever be comparing noa to a cat thank you for that)

OKAY BUCKLE UP BECAUSE I HAVE A FEW. a lot of them arent super detailed because it wasnt ME experiencing them it was my parents who then told me about it. but YEAH

the most simple, obvious one is from this one time when my parents were in the kitchen, maybe with some other caterer friends maybe not idk, just talking about something random when all of the sinks in the kitchen turned on. and its a giant commercial kitchen, mind you, so theres like a whole wall lined with sinks and a couple more scattered in various places across the room. and theyre all just. running. (this is the most easily dismissed as, like, a fluke plumbing issue, but its only one in a long line of offenses so whatever)

another time (and this is where it gets considerably creepier), my parents were working on some catered event, and my mom was working on a cake i think (because she's a pastry chef; she used to make a LOT of wedding cakes lol and she is very good at it); she mentioned how bad her shoulders/back were hurting, and out of nowhere she feels someone start massaging her shoulders for her (something my dad does a lot). she said out loud something like "thanks honey that feels so good," and then my dad, from the complete other side of the room, yelled "what?". as her shoulders were still being rubbed. so. creepy, but sort of nice??

third story from my parents—the kitchen had this big, like, back room where they would receive deliveries (since it was a catering company and they ordered a lot of stuff en masse), and it had a big garage door that opened to let the delivery trucks IN (it might have actually BEEN a garage at one point, i honestly dont know). anyway its the day one of the deliveries is getting here and my mom's moving around in the back room, idk moving boxes or putting stuff in the freezer or whatever, and the garage door is open. she sees who she thinks is the delivery guy (who my parents were pretty close to at that point) and she's holding something heavy, and she's like "thank god you're here can you hold this for me for a sec" and then she blinks and hes just. gone. and she drops the entire case of whatever she was holding LMAO so that was fun!!

my own experience with the ghosts is severely limited compared to my mom, but there was this one time where i saw a full-blown shadow of a man walk on the wall of the hallway next to the kitchen, when nobody was in front of the door to MAKE that kind of shadow at all. the whole building was over 100 years old and allegedly multiple people died in it, so there was more than one ghost—there was the main guy (the weirdly nice one that my mom thought was the delivery guy), and then the apparently more malicious ghost of some woman, who i thankfully never had any run-ins with (i dont remember any stories of her, if there WERE any). the kicker through this whole thing, though, is that even after living in that building for 8+ years and experiencing ALLLL this weird unexplainable shit, he still remains a firm skeptic and nonbeliever. i honestly dont know how he does it
