In a world of micro-divides between like, different religions and castes and the rural/urban divides and colourism and nationalism and whatnot that's rotting our countries, sometimes all it takes is an old-fashioned dose of white-person ugly racism to remind you that bitch! Those guys don't know the fucking difference. They don't know your cast. They don't care that you're 'wheatish' or the 'most desired' or 'undesirable' skintone in the country. They don't know whether you're a hindu or muslim or sikh or buddhist or a kazhak or pakistani or sri lankan; girl they cannot pronounce those places. They can't place them on a map. They don't care, nor want to know your history. Their history begins and ends with the bridge of their nose and vague, unfounded prejudices fed to them as a placeholder blame for economic instability. They are irritated that your entire hemisphere exists, at best. At worst, they're sore that you remind them their imperialism failed. What tf are you fighting amongst yourselves for
#literally seen some idiots blame the end of colonialism for bad western economies— THEY RECEIVED REPARATIONS FOR#BEING KICKED OUT OF COLONIES and their economies still suck. Like. Time to admit you're literally the worst at economy. Cry babies.#Anyway the first time my mum curiously inquired about a pakistani friend I'd made I laughed in her face.#Mother. Who the fuck knows the difference between us. Even you can't tell; stop being suspicious along imagined lines#also I seriously doubt someone who's like 2nd or 3rd gen actually knows/cares about/carries your grudges from 1947 like please#anyway this is a general thing. Same thing applies more broadly to all POC in fact. I've heard similar things said about queer infighting#where's the 'apes strong together' meme when you need it
