schools are pretty generic

Good morning/good afternoon/good evening everyone that's reading this

My 2nd blog/schoolwork about MY school / the school i'm in. I'm not gonna say which school is it but i will say it's in Indonesia

so i don't have any plans what to talk about (well about my school) so i'l just talk that i think of about my school. Btw sorry for a bit of a clickbait title lol.

I don't know about most school layout that is outside from Indonesia, but my school is like a "hotel" you could say, there are 3 buildings, one for senior high school and the second building are for Elementary & Junior high school, for the senior high building, it have 4 floor, but for the elementary & junior high have 3 floors, which floor 1st & 2nd for elementary and the 3rd for senior high school, and in the middle of the elementary building have an outside basketball court, and the other building is a warehouse that is just football, basketball, badminton fields, and a stage. Usually is the place we do some activities that isn't studying.

I got a funny story, me and my friends were going back to our class from the library on the high school building, everyone was wearing socks because all the shoes were in the classroom, then out of nowhere i hear a slam on the floor, i turn back and saw my friend fell to the floor, everyone including the other students on the other class heard it, we were laughing and ask him what happened ? so apparently one of my friend do a gentle kick to the back of my friend leg, then he tried to kick back and accidentally slipped on his own leg then he fell, so that was a funny incident also no one got hurt so its fine.

Anyways back to describing my school, here we have a computer lab, most of the computers uses old computer that still runs on windows 7, the one i'm using currently to write this are pretty bad but we were at school it was still fun to play the dinosaur chrome game and other web games, but there are 8 computers that have windows 11 and running on a much bigger screen (the one that look like just the monitor powered by it self, everyone on the windows 7 computer were pretty envy but it's not a big deal anyway, so a lot of people like to troll, and there are two types of people, the first that use background from games or aesthetic ones, and the other use memes as background, like bald messi, saul goodman intro, etc. It was pretty funny to see a meme you know and saw them on a computer background. Another good thing for the students that use the windows 11 computers, they have a good frames, so they could play games like roblox and cs:go, instead of the windows 7 computer that can barely run chess. One day we get to go to the computer lab, we had to make like a summary from a textbook, but my friend here that got the windows 11 computer think it's a good idea to play roblox, i think it was one of the nextbot game, until we go to our next subject, he didn't even finish the assignment, and everyone was watching him play (he was pretty bad tbh lol), so that's pretty dumb

Next i think i should talk about our events we have done, My school have host some events like playing football with other school like a tournament, there are also "class meeting" i don't know if there is class meeting outside indonesia but its where every class compete on competitions, there are football, basket, badminton, mobile game, and others. So i usually is the guy that never want to join the competition because i am pretty bad at sports so i usually become the reserve player or il just walk around the field for hours as a workout. And lastly we have (in my opinion) the most important event for senior high school which is graduation, in the graduation 9th grade going to 10th would do shows and their parents are in the crowd, and for 7th & 8th grade you can join to watch them graduate, a lot of people cried of course, so its an important event.

And yeah that's it, i think i will end it here. I like my school but i heard that other school might have better events but i'm not gonna complain.

Pete was showing Vegas something on his phone with a huge dimpled smile. Must have been a meme. Because Vegas looked up from his own phone—Macau could tell he was either reading a news blog or checking his emails because that's all he did on his phone—and smiled at Pete's phone screen.

It was at that moment that Macau realized he had a family. It was not what he had envisioned when he had been younger but it was no less perfect.

His brother was his shield from all the evils. The man protected Macau to the best of his abilities. He took hits for him, he shouldered blames for him, and when teenage angst took over Macau and he messed up Vegas cleaned his mess for him. Up until Pete, Vegas had only two goals in life. To gain the approval of their unworthy father and to protect Macau from their world. And even though the first one was a lost battle, Macau would say his brother did more than a great job on the second one. Whose brother did so much for them? Wasn't he lucky in that aspect?

When Macau's eyes landed on Pete, a memory flashed in front of his eyes. It had been the talent competition in his senior year of high school. He had casually mentioned the night before that he would be acting in a play organized by his class and he would be playing the best friend of the lead. It had been a two-minute role. It wasn't been a big deal, he had added. To be honest, he hadn't expected his brother or Pete to show up. No one ever showed up. Not for sports day, not on his class graduations, not even when he had won 1st place for that science project. Vegas had always been busy and their father had never cared enough.

So he had been rightfully surprised when he heard a familiar voice yelling his name when he had stepped onto the stage to deliver his lines. He had looked among the audience and saw his brother smiling at him with a proud look on his face. And then he had seen the person to whom that voice belonged, with a huge smile on his face holding up his phone recording Macau on stage. It had been Pete.

The play had been awful for Macau. He had forgotten his lines, choked up, and messed up the small dance he had to do at the end. But when he had come to meet his family, no one scolded him. They had patted him on his back being genuinely proud of him. And then they took him out for ice cream. It had been the best day of his life.

Macau blinked rapidly to get rid of the blurriness of his vision and took a sip from his glass of water to clear his aching throat. He then took that picture on his phone and put it on his Instagram with the caption, "Family's night out."

He tagged Pete only. Because his grumpy brother didn't have any social media. So when Pete's phone pinged and he checked the notification before looking up to meet Macau's eyes, Macau simply smiled at him. This was the first time Macau had acknowledged Pete as a part of his family. He could tell Pete was happy. And honestly? Macau felt pretty darn happy too.

the “it” boy at school, no one can deny that. leads the dance club, being the main reason why they get 1st place at dance competitions. girls want him but he’s not focused on that, probably thinks they only talk to him because they are interested in his band because yes, yeonjun is in a band. cares a lot about his grades and often helps other students with homework and such. he’s the hallway crush of so many people. the type to joke around with his friends in the hallways and lean against the lockers like a real jock. although he is said to be the most handsome guy at school, he’s known for being super loyal to his friends and nice to everyone he meets.

☆ SOOBIN

the principal probably called him to his office one day to compliment his determination in getting good grades. has a cartoon lunchbox and was made fun for it until anime started to get more popular. wears his glasses all the time and they always get so dirty that he has a handkerchief in his pocket to clean them with. stays at the library a lot and the old woman at the desk loves him because he always puts the books back on their shelves silently. probably bumps a lot into other people and has to constantly pick up his papers from the floor because he often forgets his binder or notebooks at home. rumor was that the cheerleading captain used to have a crush on him.

☆ BEOMGYU

he’s the guy everyone has a love-hate relationship with. probably the one to start random food fights every three months or so. people call him weird because he used to have an emo phase during his second year of highschool. someone made a shrine for him in one of the empty lockers because he showed up one day with a black hairband and longer hair after a holiday. he’s the kid who jokes around in hope to get attention because he feels misunderstood and unloved by his entourage. he played the electric guitar in his free time until yeonjun found out and invited him to join his band. now, he seems much happier than before with his new close friend group and he gets less in trouble.

☆ TAEHYUN

he arrives super late at school every day but manages to arrive on time in class because he skates through the hallways, which he gets scolded occasionally for. usually in the middle row because he has bad eyesight but doesn’t want to get caught sleeping. he does actually care for his grades but spends a lot of time exploring the city at night so he’s always tired and thus, even more quiet. came back after summer break with freshly dyed hair and was ranked second on the “pretty boys” list. more appreciated than he thinks he is and was surprised when people defended him after he got falsely accused of cheating on an exam. a meme of his shocked face went around school when the physics teacher put a table on fire.

☆ HUENING KAI

he’s just never alone, always accompanied by one of his friends. people envy his friendship because his friends wait for him after class and offer him their lunch desserts. makes a lot of bad jokes and is just generally awkward but he’s just so loveable that it’s cute. was probably the new student but was immediately “adopted” by the popular (nice) guys at school. throws little notes around class and gets caught at least three times a week but the notes are all little doodles, dad jokes or “which page are we on???”, so the teachers let him get away with it. people started coming earlier to school just because he hosted the morning announcements for a few months.

What kind of books do you like? I'm gonna rec a bunch but they are pretty much all fantasy so hopefully you like fantasy lol

The Locked Tomb series is amazing and there's only one book that's not out yet. Very weird. Very sapphic. "Lesbian necromancers in space etc etc" but also found family, shockingly unhealthy coping mechanisms, and memes! Each book has a different POV character and a totally different tone. Its been a really fun series to read (I did like sob at the end of book 1 tho)

I've been working through The Kingkiller Chronicle and I'm almost done with book 2. Very epic fantasy very very very good, but be warned (as I have been warned) that the 3rd and final book is like,,,,,a decade late being finished lol but the first 2 have all the stuff!! Amazing characters, magic!, a full immersive world, beautiful prose, well-written romance!, laugh out loud humor, and I have cried many times oh my god have I cried. There's also a short story that fits into this world that I'm reading next.

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke was excellent. Stand alone novel. Much shorter read than like everything else on this list lol Beautiful prose. Engaging and keeps you turning pages to find answers to many many questions

The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winters (1st in a series of so far 2) quick read despite the size! Lots of action and character moments make for a quick pace!

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon - massive novel but it's a standalone! It took me about 100 pages to really get into it but then I was hooked. This is another sapphic one. Also epic fantasy. Huge world. Many POV characters but the main 2 are a queen and her (secret assassin assigned to keep her alive) bodyguard 😏 Also dragons!

A Marvelous Light by Freya Marske - this is the first in the trilogy (3rd book isn't out yet). Fantasy mlm romance between a non-magic guy and a barely-magic guy who have to work together to save non-magic guy from bad magic ppl and solve the mystery of what the heck is going on. 2nd book is from non-magic guy's sister's POV and is sapphic. Both are so so so good. Excellent relationship building and pacing, wonderful plot and world building.

Next on my tbr: Shades of Milk and Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal (think a Jane Austin novel + magic), Meet Me in Another Life by Catriona Silvey (2 ppl keep meeting across different lives and need to figure out why), Consider the Fork (nonfiction history of food across various cultures--hopefully will help me worldbuild gooder), Jade City (the green bone saga-Fantasy + Hong Kong gangster movies + war?, and Cain's Jawbone (It's supposed to be the world's most fiendishly difficult literary puzzle or something. Unfortunately I suck at literary puzzles so I imagine its going to be a literary frustration, but it's short! I... didn't pick this one lol)

Seems like everybody is on a nolan train and im not mad about it. I get the vibe that nolan is pretty picky when selecting a romantic partner to pursue or make his gf. How'd u think he'd be like when he meets someone that checks off all his boxes and MORE? Gimme some nolan thinking ur too good to be true after the 1st date and then being head over heels in love after the first 2 weeks. k so maybe you two met through mutual friends and his friends are like “you’re gonna love her, I swear” and he’s just rolling his eyes and sighing because they tried setting him up before and it didn’t work, but still he went on -it was a small get-together, just close friends, teammates and their significant other and he needed to breath fresh air

when he gets there the speakers are softly playing a song he was sure wasn’t chosen by any of the boys, “what's wrong with you guys listening to bob seger? were you hit by the fairy of good music taste or something?” he joked in a mumble and tk instantly rose his eyebrows

“that’s actually y/n’s playlist,” his best friend answers and nolan turns his attention to the new face in the living room, there's a cup on your hands and a small smile displaying on the corner of your tinted lips. your eyes are confident and the color goes perfectly along with your complexion. he swears he never saw someone so beautiful in that unique way. you didn’t have a familiar face and maybe that's what somehow made him more curious about you. when he went to shake your hand the song came to an end and Hozier started playing, “you have a good taste in music,” he mumbles, “I’m nolan, by the way.” you smile, a full parted lips smile and his heart does a double flip, “I actually listen to everything, and I mean everything because I listen from German music to Latinas,” your voice has this happy gigglish tone and he can’t help but smile too. “Do you speak German?” “Yes, and French, Portuguese, Spanish, currently I’m learning Chinese,” he’s taken by surprise, and one of your friends explain to him you're in Philly for your Ph.D. in languages. nolan talks to you for the rest of the night, and that is he talks almost only with you, every time tk looked for him he was handing around you, awestruck small smile, eyes attentive, listening to everything you had to say. that night you talked about everything, he enjoyed listening to you talking, your voice soothing him in a way he never ever felt, and you ever so curious manners always asking something back but never being intrusive.

“I’m sorry I talk too much, I’m just this excited about some subjects,” you explain and a giggle follows your words, he shakes his head, “no, it’s perfect that you’re talkative because sometimes I’m way too quiet...I think that gives us balance,” he explains and watches as your smile get bigger and bigger. “Ok but now tell me about you, whatever you want, but not hockey related because I know you exist beyond that, I actually hate when people try to talk to me only about my profession as if it is was the only thing I want to talk about, I love what I do but like c’mon ask me about et’s, and zodiac signs, food, random music, memes, there’s a bunch of cool stuff you know?” and he’s just nodding and watching you because fuck he feels like he could kiss you right now. you were fun, intelligent, quite the opposite of him in some areas he came to discover, but that was just perfect, and you kept getting prettier with each word

but you did it first

and that night when he drove you home you were already carrying a bit of his heart

one week and two dates later you kept getting more interesting and he kept talking about you with tk “did you know she’s learning to play the guitar?” “she’s a genius isn’t she?” “and she was with this new lipstick today, tasted like cherries.” “she loves horror movies.” “she’s into ham and cheese sandwich in the morning” etc

two weeks in and you were already exclusive, he couldn’t help but talk about you with his sister as well, and just by listening to him talk about you for an hour straight she knew he had it bad

and nolan realized it the first time you went to one of his game, you were wearing his number and wearing an orange converse because you liked to match stuff just like that, and when he scored he searched for your eyes on the stands and you were screaming and jumping and clapping just like all the flyers fans still he could spot you like you as if you were wearing a completely different color

he wanted to look to the stands and always see you, and wake up beside you during the days you stayed at his place, he wanted to share a cereal bowl with you, and find horror movies funny just like you did, he wanted to listen to your favorite playlist and show you his, and he wanted late-night drives and early morning kisses with you

all that because he had it bad

nolan was in love and he didn’t wait longer to tell you that

Since Toast uploaded the 7k IQ video which is the start of the Lud-Syk trolling duo, more peeps are getting interested about the incident again and I have a lot of thoughts.

I personally believe the most annoying thing about the whole Sykkuno incident a few days ago is that SOME people are like:

"Oh, Corpse would've made sure he was okay" or "Corpse would've done a better job at protecting/defending him"

and some of these people are the same that hate and blame Valkyrae and Toast for what happened. Emphasis on some since most people just want to show their appreciation to Sykkuno and try to comfort him in their own fan way.

Really fucking irks me how they romanticize and make Corpse and Sykkuno seem so much closer than they actually are. There are many friendships like this so I'm used to the life cycle but that doesn't mean it doesn't piss me off everytime.

(Hey remember when Septiplier was at its peak and people pushed away Bob and Wade despite being literal friends with Mark for years prior to YT. Or when Ethan and Tyler first hopped on board[specifically Ethan] and when the trio would play with a 4th person that isn't Jack they would just go apeshit)

I am also not joking or taking it too far but this kind of thinking really pisses me off

You know what Corpse would've done? He would've been the same as Lud. Lud and Corpse are just new friends. There are still walls and boundaries that they have yet to pass and they really can't do more than what Lud has done. I am a shipper, it is in my username. I live off of the idea of romance. But to drag a real life person that a lot of people romantically ship with in a VERY personal situation (personal enough that Syk would not even tell anyone on stream his problems) is not cool.

The playful yelling was the tipping point. It wasn't the cause. Rae and Toast are both known for their tough love to Sykkuno.

Like look, in those series of events, Ludwig was the most outwardly protective person of Sykkuno in the last game. That was pretty much all he could do due to his limitations and I'm sure Sykkuno really appreciated that. He was body guarding Sykkuno, stood up and talked for him when he was clearly sad, choked up even. Until his character's dying breath. He stood by his side. More like when the lights turned off but you get it. It was sweet, it was nice, he really tried his best (and I love him for it).

The thing is though Ludwig wasn't the only one who tried to help Sykkuno that round. Valkyrae who is known to love killing Sykkuno (for the memes) killed the other 2 people and fessed up for her crimes. One is because she was caught in the act of killing in the 1st meeting by Toast and two, upon realizing that Sykkuno was dead in the 2nd meeting she felt guilty and just admitted to the murder. She wanted to speedrun so Sykkuno could play again sooner. Right after, Toast calls button and gets to avenge Sykkuno by voting out the other impostor, his killer, Tubbo. Toast didn't even get to explain why Tubbo is the killer, he just made him fess up. To say they remotely didn't care is really fucking pissing me off.

BTW I watched Lud and Toast's streams for this specific match and I will say this, Toast had nothing to go off to know for sure that Sykkuno was sad. Him and Rae were trolling back and most likely didn't know how bad Sykkuno's day was. He doesn't read the comments on his live so when he was trying to find Sykkuno in the 1st round, with Rae (for the most part) that says a lot about how much he knows what Syk was feeling at the time with what little info he had. After pressing answers for him in the 1st meeting he just stopped and pretty much figured out what was happening.

Now another thing. After the match, Sykkuno is obviously sad and said he was going to go and get dinner, Rae follows up by saying she has to head out. We sure as hell know that these guys could stream for hours but she stopped there and even deleted her VOD as well. Now why could she have done that. Oh yeah. She must've talked with him. About what. I think you all know at this point. With two people quickly leaving, and two VERY important people in this "drama", Toast changed discussion and asked if the MC server was back up which made the others leave, ending their Among Us game that day. He left a parting message to the viewers and called it a day there.

2:16:50 is where the "yelling" starts and 2:26:00 is where he said this

Toast: Chat, Sykkuno's fine, okay?He's an adult. Okay. You don't have to tell me, or his friends, or him what to feel or what to do.

It's really disrespectful. Knock it off

Now tell me, what about that makes you think they don't care?

Are we also just forgetting that it was Rae that helped push Sykkuno to create his own lobby with people he loves playing with a while back? How this Tsunderae tells him how good of a player he is even when he thinks he just got lucky (god damn, Valorant days).

Are we forgetting how Toast was probably the most important person that helped Sykkuno grow confident in himself? When they hang out together and the bits we've heard from the podcasts, Sykkuno absolutely treasures his friendship with Toast the most (There have been multiple occassions where Sykkuno and Toast are caught on-cam or at least heard in the mic speaking to each other, more often than not in Lily's Just Chatting streams. In fact, I wouldn't put it past those two to be the ones talking in Yvonne's "I got a cat" video and the most popular clip from that was Sykkuno eating a sandwhich which is titled "SUSKKUNO")

The first recent example that came to mind was Lily and Michael's birthday stream.

John looked around as he entered the bar. It wasn’t that busy, but he still had a hard time trying to find the guy he was meeting up with. John texted him ten minutes upon arriving that he was dressed in purple shirt and a black jacket, so that he would know where to find him.

John went up to the counter and ordered a beer, sitting at a stool on the end and watched the screen above him.

Ten minutes pass and he starts to get anxious; he was so excited to finally meet the person he was talking to for the past four months. They’ve grown close, and John likes that he can be so open about anything when they talk. There was something comforting about telling someone who doesn’t know about your past. It was a fresh slate.

“John?” He turned to find a woman approaching him. She had a soft smile and hopeful, kind eyes. Despite her beauty, he didn’t recognize her.

“Yeah?” John raised a brow and watched as her smile grew.

“Hi, I’m Y/N, it’s nice to finally meet you!” She pulled up a chair next to him and waved down the bartender to order a drink.

Frozen in his seat, John looked around the bar, just checking to see if there was a guy looking for him. Because this...this wasn’t right.

He’s been talking to a girl; he was so focused on how casual the guy- girl was that he didn’t even think twice about their gender.

Not that it really mattered, it just...he was so care free about who he was talking to. If he had known he was talking to a girl, then he would’ve probably been his usual cocksure self, talking more sufficiently or maybe even flirting.

“Sorry I was late,” Y/N pulled off her jacket and set it over the back fo her chair. “There was lots of traffic and I don’t really know this place well enough to walk alone.”

“No, no worries,” John stumbled with his words and scratched his the back of his head. “Uh...how was your trip up here?”

“Ugh, long,” She chuckled and sipped on her beer as the waiter set it in front of her. “The plane ride was exhausting. And I forgot how annoying the whole airport system is. I showed up an hour early just for my flight to be delayed for three hours.”

“Damn, that sucks,” John winced and she shruggedhopelessly. “So, what are you in town for?”

“For work, there’s a position that’s opening in one of the branches and my manager thought it would be the perfect fit for me.” Her smile was bright, John noticed that right away. “So, you know if all goes well, maybe...you might see me around more often?”

“Well, that wouldn’t be a bad thing, now would it?” John laughed and clinked his bottle against hers.

They fell into easy conversation after that, talking about their jobs, their dreams. Y/N didn’t bring up John’s family, which he had recently told her that things weren’t good at the moment. John made sure to remind Y/N that it was awful that she didn’t appreciate sushi. They laughed as they told stories about college.

John realized that he liked taking to Y/N, he felt she understood him in a way. Now that he knows that she’s a she, it doesn’t really change anything. It’s still the same Y/N he talked to on the phone. And he was himself when he talked to her.

When they were walking out hours later, John sighed and realized he didn’t want the night to end.

“Hey, I know you’re quite busy when you’re in town, but...I don’t know, if you’re free, maybe we could go see a movie or something?” He glanced at the sidewalk, avoiding her gaze.

Y/N smirked at his shy attitude, but nodded nonetheless. “I’d like that. As long as it’s the new Marvel movie.”

John scoffed, finally looking up, “Well, then you’d have to come over and watch a decent superhero movie. Like...any DC movie.”

Y/N laughed and nodded, “I’m down for that.”

She’d rearrange her schedule ten different times if it meant that she’d spend more time with John.

as with everything else in life, I’m late to making this post. I tend to make one around Jan 1st every year, but it’s now a few days after that, and all i can say for myself is that time is non-consequential during a pandemic, right? right.

anywho, this is my usual “thank you for keeping me going this year” post, but with even more fervor. 2020 would not have been nearly as tolerable without you all in it. and when i say all i really do mean all. thank you to anyone who follows me here or has read and supported my work on AO3 or has sent me a message or an ask or even just likes my posts. you can never know how many people’s hearts you’ve touched, lives you’ve made better, but i’m telling you now: you made me smile and laugh and feel love in a year that could have easily stolen all that. thank you for sticking around.
