A quarter of an hour went by and the food had made it to the young men. When William served it, he was out of uniform.

“I’m off schift early, thanksch to Vickie,” Murderface grinned, placing both shake and its secondary metal cup to Nathan. He sat with his friends, grabbing a half of Pickles’ grilled cheese before the rockstar himself could eat it. 

“I’m juscht uh. Gonna poischon-check thisch,” Murder chomped. “Maybe a couple of thosche friesch, too, while I’m at it.”

Pickles sipped his soda, glad his childhood friend was off work. 

“Eat up. You’ll need fuel in the tank for the move.”

“What?”

“Gonna have to pack your bags, dood. We got ourselves a manager.”

“God, you’re cruel,” Will rolled his eyes, continuing to eat Pickles’ food. 

“Yeah? Well, we have some paperwork for you to sign, buddy! Or would that be too torturous, sire? ”

Pulling out a bag from his side of the booth, Pickles unzipped it and revealed a set of paperwork, as well as a pen.

They were apartment lease papers for Murderface to sign. The waiter frowned as he read them.

“…You aren’t fucking with me?”

“Dude, it’s happening ! Aren’t you excited?”

There was something hesitant about Will as he rubbed through his mangy hair. 

“I um. I guessch scho.”

"..."

“Murderface,” Pickles lifted his sunglasses, squinting because of a headache. “I swear to shit, if you back out of th-”

“I’m not,” Will chewed, his eyes a tad glossy. 

“…It feelsch too good to be real, you know? I don’t want to fuck thisch up. It’sch like my grandma schaid, man. I’m Bad Luck and Trouble.”

“ Agghh , Murderface.”

“Your grandma called you a B.L.T. ?” Nathan grunted, thinking of the lettering of Will’s self-deprecating title. Neither Pickles or Murderface reacted. He continued to sip his shake.

“Still stuck on your old man’s stroke?”

“You’re pusching it,” Murderface looked away as he drank Pickles’ diet coke. “Juscht. One more time. Pity me, here. You think I’m a good fit? Every attempt I had with thisch schit hasch crasched and burned.”

“We aren’t Planet Piss. We’re Dethklok. And of course you are. You’re gonna keep us from getting big heads.”

Nathan grunted in agreement. 

“Plus, isn’t it your dream? To do absolutely nothing , living life in luxury like a fat cat? After the move in, our manager will lead us all through the next steps with the band. It’s being handed over to us. Fate is in our fuckin’ favor, dood! Just imagine it. Endless naps, endless snacks and booze. I think that’s a Willy Paradise, right there.”

Murderface whined through a nasal sigh. He was doubting himself. This month really sucked. This good news only meant he’d jinx it. 

“Hey. Remember my five rules of Rock ‘N’ Roll?”

“...It’sch amazing that you think I lischten to you,” Murderface grumbled, sliding the plate of fries to Nathan, so he wouldn’t have to reach across the table for them.

“Okie. Number One -

You are the first priority.

“Number Two -

Nobody can top what you’ve got.

“Number Three -

Any doubt, means you’re out.

“Number Four -

Don’t lick boots,

 you don’t know what they’ve stepped in.

“Number Five -

Party like it’s the end of the fucking world.”

“That uh. Towhead guy. Schkwisschgaar’sh moving in with usch, too, right?”

“And Magnus. So, do prepare, fur will fly. And you think you’ll be the one to stir things up, heh heh.”

“Alright. Well, then. Nothing a good ol’ traditional brawl can’t schettle, if thingsch get dicey!”

“I know right? I can’t wait until we beat the shit out of each other,” Nathan swallowed a mouthful of fries.

“Thisch guy getsch it!”

“Hah. Oh boy! This is gonna be fuckin great!”

So Nacht and Finral have become my comfort characters and Langris has worm his way into my heart. Can you do general headcanons for the three of them, please?

From Cindy: Thanks for the request! I had a lot of fun thinking of ideas for this one, especially Langris. I didn’t include Nacht this time because I’m not caught up with the manga and don’t know anything about him. I’m very sorry about that! My new year’s resolution is to catch up with Black Clover though, so hopefully I’ll be better prepared next time.

Finral Roulacase

Finral prefers boxers over briefs.

Finral has issues with self-esteem, so it takes him way longer than it should to get ready in the morning.

He’ll try on multiple outfits that are basically the same but drive himself into a panic over which one to wear. Poor bby.

Finral thinks boy bands and idol groups are so cool. He doesn’t think he’d ever be attractive or talented enough to do something like that, but he envies their confidence and the attention they get from fans.

Finral taught himself to perfectly prepare about 3 or 4 recipes as a way to impress girls.

He really wants to cook for the Black Bulls to get their feedback but is worried about getting made fun of or falling short of expectations set by Charmy’s amazing cooking.

Finral’s favorite season in fall. Seeing the warm autumn colors and crunching leaves under his feet as he walks outside is very therapeutic for him.

He also enjoys imagining cheesy scenarios where the chilly weather gives him an excuse to wrap his arms around a beautiful lady to keep her warm.

Finral wanted to be a safari ranger when he was little.

 Langris Vaude

Langris prefers briefs over boxers.

He hates tomatoes. Like, he thinks they are disgusting.

RIP to the person who serves him a B.L.T sandwich without removing the ‘T’. Seriously, Langris will have a conniption.

Langris likes singing and he’s actually really good at it too.

Of course, he’d rather die than have anyone find that out. If you walk by when he thinks nobody else is around though, you just might hear him humming or singing to himself.

Speaking of things he doesn’t want anyone to know about, Langris is addicted to reading young adult novels. He especially loves anything to do with Vampires.

He isn’t really a romantic person, but he likes the concept of something so dangerous struggling with the conflicting urges to both protect and destroy something fragile that it loves.

He knows that more often than not the stories have happy endings, but just the possibility that it could go the opposite way keeps him on the edge of his seat.

It drives Langris crazy when items in cupboards or on shelves are not all facing the same way.

NEW PLAYLIST: THE JACK BRUCE POWER TRIOS

Here's another idea for a playlist. This one features the late bassist Jack Bruce. His career was a long, and varied one, and he played with a who's who of great musicians, and composed and recorded Rock, Jazz, and Blues in different settings. But his greatest commercial success, and the music for which he is best known is his work in power trios. Cream came first (1966-1968), followed by West, Bruce & Laing (1972-1974). There was a partnership with Robin Trower and drummer Bill Lordan as well. The B.L.T. band as it was known, made one album in 1981. A 1982 album with Trower and a different drummer, Reg Isidore, was billed as Jack Bruce & Robin Trower. And a third album, Seven Moons had Gary Husband on drums. In 1988, Leslie West cut an album called Theme with Bruce on bass, and vocals, and Joe Franco on drums. Bruce returned to the format once more with Ginger Baker, and Gary Moore (BBM) for one album released in 1994.
