This Dorayaki (铜锣烧) from Four Leaves Bakery is the favourite snack of Doraemon. It consists of two small pancake-like patties made from castella wrapped around a filling of sweet azuki bean paste. The red bean filling is a tad sweet but I balanced it out with a cup of less sweet Milk Tea.

From 19th Nov. (Tues.) to 16th Dec. 2024 (Mon.), Harajuku Yurinan (a dorayaki shop whose name, despite the given romanisation, is pronounced "yuurin'an") will sell purple sweet potato and rock salt butter sandwiches, plus mixed fruit juice for "after a bath" (incl. mango and banana). Each of those aforementioned items is 800 yen (incl. tax) and comes with an exclusive acrylic charm (random design).
Alternatively, you can get 3 of the charms if you get the stamped dorayaki skins (random design, 1 set includes 2 pcs.) which are 300 yen each (incl. tax). If you order a set of 6 skins online (2160 yen incl. tax, 6 sets incl. 12 pcs.), you also get 3 random charms. (Note the set of 6 skins is only sold from 12 pm on 19th Nov. - 9 pm on 16th Dec. 2024.)

There will be lifesized panels at Harajuku Yurinan during the time of the collaboration.

For more details, you can see the official X accounts here (for Yurinan) and here (for Yurinan collabs). You may have to specifically check Yurinan Friend (previously Harajuku Friend) for the merch and the main Yurinan for the food - these are in different locations in Jingumae in Shibuya Ward.
Update: Added JST disclaimer.

Dorayaki. A drawing I made for the birthday of a dear friend. The paper was bad quality tho.
使った紙の質悪かったけども、大事な友達の誕生日をきっかけで描いたどら焼きの絵でございます。

The Next Generation joined the juggling club at her school; to my surprise, though, they don't have "loaner" juggling stuff. I'd seen a video on YouTube about making these Japanese beanbags called otedama (the video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcwBUCPZ4kA) and used this as an opportunity to try something new.
The video suffers from the thing where people set up the camera so that you, the audience, are watching the crafter from a position opposite where they are (as opposed to, say, over the shoulder or from above). This means that everything they do is opposite of what you're seeing (and if/when you do it, you will have to mentally flip the pieces around, which I found challenging, even though the shapes are simple; with folding and pinning added to the process, it got a bit hairy for me). They'd done an inset of someone else doing the same steps, only zoomed in for a clearer view...but it was from the same perspective, which was not as helpful as it could have been.
But no matter: the thing about YouTube is that you can pause and rewind and eventually figure it out.
Now she's got three nice beanbags to practice with, and they're filled with dried lentils which make a really nice sound and have a great feel and heft (79 grams each, very felicitous). She's already gotten to the one-two stage of passing the bags to opposite hands, which tells me that they're a hit. : )

Sis bought these individually wrapped Red Bean Daifuku (大福) from Chateraise Singapore. I can’t remember the price but it cost around the region of S$2 each. This Japanese confection or wagashi (和菓子) is a small round mochi stuffed with a sweet filling, most commonly anko, a sweetened red bean paste made from azuki beans. The glutinous rice mochi is slightly chewy and stretchy plus the red bean filling is pleasantly sweet.

Silken Windhound, at 6 weeks she isn't to know that Adzuki beans, Azuki beans and red beans are all the same.

A nice snack for a walk on a cold day! Oshiruko is a sweet dessert soup made with azuki bean. Warms your hands, satisfies your sweet tooth, and provides a nice energy boost. I wished there was mochi in it too, but honestly it was hard enough to drink the beans out of the can so I get it. Maybe they could make this a pop-top?
In any case, shake well, or be prepared to stand on the street corner with a can fully upside down over your mouth, shaking it hard enough for the last few beans to come falling out but there’s more than you expect and they fall directly into your throat hole and you choke and yell “Glucjkfhhkf” and everybody looks at you and there’s bean sludge all over your face. Hypothetically.
