assassins dog au where the proprietor and the balladeer are a horrid gay couple and the balladeer foster failed nine times in a row (he named the dogs after assassins to get less attached to them but it worked too well and now no one will adopt an asshole labradoodle who only responds to john wilkes booth). anyway the dogs are pretty smart and the proprietor keeps feeding them scraps off the table (low effort poisoning attempt) so now they think they’re humans stuck in an americana limbo hellscape when in reality props is just too lazy to take down the fourth of july decor.
