I got bored and um…

Here are all of the Daemos heights vs Ava’s I guess??

Daemos are naturally very tall (height is excluding the height of their horns) and even Noi, who is quite short by Daemos standards, is tall for a person. And Pierce is obviously tall by the standard of anyone to exist ever, but it’s me, there has to be one obscenely sized mfer in the cast.

That said, most Daemos only consider height + horns as true height. Which would technically make Rhys shorter than Asch and Leif, but by top-of-the-head, he’s one of the tallest.

Also Ava’s pretty short for a person, I guess. Idk what to tell you about that.

I wanna know how Daemos wear their hair! Please tell me your headcanons

The way Daemos where hair is not gendered at all, there are slight differences but not by much. With this I’ll be mainly focusing on Royalty and Nobles. 

Long hair is common as it is seen as bad luck for someone to cut off their hair on any day besides an important event (birthdays, festivals, ceremonies, etc). And hair being cut off in battle is seen as a bad omen.

If you have long hair you have to treat it REALLY well, with ornaments and shit. If a royalty is just taking care of their hair in front of you unless you are servant, family, intimate partner, or CLOSE friend (preferably of status) it’s seen as inappropriate. 

Servants cutting hair of royalty or nobility is a no go, even when they are styling hair (like putting it in a ponytail) they must be super careful and stuff. 

When someone has short hair they will still put something in it like a clip. (I have a HC that Asch's uneven hair is because he has a clip pulling back that piece of his hair)

Back in the history of Daemos if you didn’t have something in your hair it could imply that you are poor or a whore. But that thought has mostly been left behind.

Asch’s brother (whose name escapes me) never really had long hair because he didn’t like it much, and it got in the way of killing people. So he has always kept it short, only cutting it during important events.

Asch on the other hand had long hair till his 22 birthday when he cut it all off (he’s 23 now).

Daemos Headcanons ✨

Asch 🔥

He’s a hot head as his method of not letting others close to him, he doesn’t want to get too attached due to his destiny. Lady Grandma is his closest confidant, as his parents died not long after Lady Bishop came into the family. Is the closest with Asch and Pierce out of the knights.

Leif 🌿

Former pirate. For world building reasons, because I love my daemos ocs and world hcs. Has mutual respect for Asch, and it’s not uncommon to see them scheming together.

Pierce 🩵

THE GREAT GENERAL PIERCE!!! (Line from Noi in a mini game skit) Former war hero, prefers not to fight but can go feral if needed. The oldest of the knights(not by much) and he often will correct Rhys on the history of the daemos empire. Has a enchanted sword that he uses for everything, only he’s strong enough to carry it. Crown Prince Rhal considers him a coward, but is too afraid to fight him. (A rare event) protective of Asch due to understanding how he feels.

Rhys 🪻

Student of Lady Grandma, he’s the royal archivist. The only one of the daemos who’s not a knight. Hes a nerd /aff who knows a lot about potions, magic, and history. Spirits love him, he’s a cat guy. He has locs. I don’t take criticism on that because the straight hair on him in some art is 🤨, Yknow??? He was introduced to the group a few weeks before they traveled to earth, because Lady Grandma knew she could trust him.

Noi 🐈

NOI NOI NOI NOI-!!!! MY FAVORITE!!!

hes Asch’s page, but isn’t much younger than the rest of the group. He spent most of his childhood barely scraping by, and really appreciates his spot with Asch. He was picked up for his talents, but isn’t treated the best by the others. Pierce and Rhys are the kindest to him, so he often will puppy dog eyes his way into coming along on a mission. (Usually Rhys can make up a reason) Spirits love him too but he’s afraid of them due to bad experiences.
