▶ Wilding
One of the most common "rituals" in the nomad community is called (by the anti-nomad media) "wilding".
Wilding is when a group of nomads, usually all youths, venture into static society to "see what it's all about."
It is a fairly new occurence in the nomad community, but has gained an increasing interest among the youth.
Despite the name and media portrayal, most wildings are peaceful and boring. ━ NeoTribes, page 21

I was trying to figure out why I was feeling so off and generically sad all day today until I opened up Stardew Valley and realized I haven't seen the sun in three weeks and no green plants for longer than that. I HAVE to move somewhere sunnier I was simply not cut out to live in this much gloom

Hey y’all! Weird question time! Or more specifically, time for a weird question I’ve asked before
Was the high school you went to all one building, several buildings you had to walk between with no covered walkways, or several buildings but with covered walkways between them? And where was the school (not specifically)/what weather?
I grew up in southern California (where it is usually hot and rarely rains) and it never occurred to me a school could be all in one building until I saw my cousin’s high school in Oregon (where it is frequently cold and rains a lot)

plus that's probably not gonna come up for a while since i cringefailed so bad in the myofunctional therapy lol

Sunday Six: Schoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooools out!
I'm out of hell (for now)
@skysquid22 @passthroughtime @jichanxo @four-white-trees @mike----wazowski @woundedheartwithin @fire-tempers-steel
Ok since finals + convention kicked my ass a bit and I had to move out of college dorms I just kinda rambled about Star Wars OC and his trauma lmaoooooooo. Ig I'm continuing this post so. There ya go.
Sabrina sits me down on a piece of rubble, and JE rolls in between us. She looks around, making sure no one was in the vicinity that could listen in.
"So... how long have you known?"
I shrug. "Years. Decades, maybe?"
Her eyes widen, "You weren't trained by the Jedi?"
I shake my head. "Trained. But, didn't become one."
"Why?"
I look down at my hands, flexing each of my fingers. "Didn't believe in them, I guess." JE whirs, bonking me in the leg. "That's not what I mean and you know it, JE."
"So then..." Sabrina looks down at JE, who continually beeps in my direction. "Is that how you knew Master Tapal?"
