Happy Appreciate a Dragon Day!

Here’s Akasma owned by none other than @ihavewritersblockbutinreallife ! The first day I saw her I knew I had to draw her! I took a few creative liberties with her, if you don’t mind. It’s been a long time since I drew a feral dragon. (I’ve been leaning anthro for years now.)

Honestly I love the idea of her, even if it does boggle my mind a bit. Like, you say she’s the mother of the four main dragons who appeared first in the series, and even though I tried to take pieces of them, it just didn’t quite fit. And it got me thinking.

If she’s mother, does that make Firstbourne grandmother? Did she find abandoned/orphaned eggs and decided to keep them, therefore being a caretaker/adoptive mother to these four dragons? (Honestly it’d fit the theme of you having dragon characters adopting four little guys if that’s the case.)

Anyways, she was awesome to draw. It did confuse me why she didn’t have underbelly scales since it looks like she had it start from her neck and again on the base of her tail, so hey there they are.

Again, Happy Appreciate a Dragon Day! I’ll be working on NinjagoVDay2025, a character sheet for Sam, and hopefully draw another dragon soon enough!
