To be a hater, but omg The Acolyte is pretty bad
#Not tagging it to not put hate in the tag but star wars#I'm really happy for the diverse cast but the writing is just absolute dogshit#How do they keep getting these horrible screenwriters??#Can't they rehire whoever they got for andor holy shit#I'm big sad because I was always complaining that star wars stayed only in the empire era when there were so many others to explore#And now they do High Republic which has already established material and a nice aesthetic#(omg they squandered the costumes who tf is your costumes department manager)#But it sucks!!#And you know they'll use it to justify why they stick to nostalgia baitinh#I am mad sorry#Bless you to all the people who love it but I cannot
