(Missed the event announcement? Check it it out here for general info and guidelines)
As promised, here are the prompts and dates for Hot Glenn Valentines 2025™️, we hope they'll give you the inspiration you need to put your whole heart into it! Now, a few notes and reminders:
You do *not* have to follow the prompts, nor do your pieces have to be love or relationship-related (but they do have to be Glenn-related).
You do *not* have to create something for each day if you participate, and multiple pieces per day are allowed. No stress!
NSFW works are allowed please just make sure explicit material is tagged properly.
You do not have to stick to the ships presented in these prompts (we're looking at you Glenn/Erin shippers), if you create something shippy at all.
We reserve the right to exclude anything from the event (nsfw or otherwise) at our own discretion. If you're wondering if your idea is okay, please don't be shy, send us an ask!
That's all for now folks! We've been very happy with the response so far to the event, and hope you'll continue to help us in spreading the word and consider participating yourself! 💕💝

hi I actually only recently found your blog and I want to thank you so much for your ragnarok sucks posts I have been a huge Loki stan for a long time and I never understood why we should hate ragnarok and like literally until yesterday it was my favorite movie but now i can't stand it. Thank you for researching and writing all of this out. I have one question - (i haven't read through all of your articles) but do you think loki tricked thor into going to jotunhiem in the first movie?
Thank you! I feel a little guilty for ruining something you loved so much, but I’m glad to have been able to help you understand why we anti-Ragnarok fans have such a problem with it. Most people I meet who ask why we hate it so much refuse to actually read our reasons when we offer them, so I really appreciate that you were willing to take the time. <3
Re: Loki tricking Thor, yes and no. He was definitely trying to manipulate Thor, but he never once hints at going to Jötunheim and he’s visibly frustrated and anxious when Thor announces his decision. IMO, Loki was trying to deepen the rift between Thor and Odin by playing into Thor’s sense of resentment and righteous anger, but his intent was to keep them at odds for longer, not to go do war crimes. (Heck, part of Loki’s reasoning for disrupting Thor’s coronation was exactly because he knew how dangerous Thor would be as a king). As soon as Thor mentions doing that, Loki does what he can to stop it—first by trying to talk him out of it directly; then by tattling to the guard; then by taking the initiative to talk to Heimdall, whom he knows doesn’t like him; and finally, once they’re there, he does his best to talk Thor down from escalating matters further. (In the script, he also tries to delay them once they’re there by suggesting they hang back and do some reconnaissance before just charging into Laufey’s court). He even tries to intervene on Thor’s behalf in the Observatory when things start to get especially heated, but of course, he gets immediately shut down by Odin. So TL;DR I definitely wouldn’t say he was acting honestly that entire time. He knew what he was doing and was obviously trying to manipulate Thor with his words, but I don’t think he intended for it to go that far. As I once saw someone else say on here, it’s a pretty big leap from “you’re right about the frost giants” to “let’s commit treason and mass murder!”
#you could argue that loki probably should have predicted thor would react that way#but even the w4 seemed stunned by his recklessness at first#so it seems likely to me that this move was especially stupid even for thor#the entirety of thor (2011) could basically just be summarized as#'well that didn't fucking go as planned' lol#tag commentary#send me asks#loki meta#loki#thor#thor (2011)#mcu#topic: loki's motivations#Anonymous
