Idk what people think the point of Ruthven is...
#logxx#Like they're very obviously foils in that Ruthven as a young man has the same ideals and way of interacting w the world as Noé...#And over a lengthy period of time gradually morally degenerates both bc his ideals are incompatible w reality#And bc he is a person and not a perfect moral entity and thus acts cruelly and irrationally out of emotion#But then again I think people literally don't understand that Ruthven is a rapist so.
