“Hey, Tsu. I’m not feeling well today, so I’m gonna stay home. I just wanted to let you know ahead of time,” You spoke into the phone, your voice slightly scratchy and very much congested.

“Oh!! I’ll be right there-!” Tsukasa responded, holding the phone with both hands as his eyebrows raised. He didn’t mind at all when you told him you were sick! In fact, Tsukasa quite enjoyed taking care of you- plus, why go to school if you wouldn’t be there?

Before you could protest, he hung up, leaving you in confusion on the other end of the line. You put your phone back, crawling into bed as you wondered whether or not Tsukasa really would go over… no, no way- you couldn’t let him skip school because of your illness-!

“(Y/N), Tsukasa is here!” Your guardian called out to you, peering into your room. Tsukasa bounded in, making his way over to the side of your bed.

“I’ve got to head to work. Tsukasa, make sure your parents are fine with you being here,” They spoke, before leaving the room. Tsukasa’s eyes followed them until they were out of sight, then turned back to you, eyes as wide as usual.

“Mom told me to bring you…” He dug around in his bookbag, “this!!”

Proudly, he held a container of some sort of soup up to you.

“Very good, Tsu… tell her I said thank you. You should go to school though- and I’ll probably lay back down.”

“That’s fine! I’ll stay right here!! Oh, oh, I’ll go get you a rag!”

Once again (and as per usual) he ran out of the room, leaving you no room to protest. Knowing there really was no arguing, you curled back up, attempting to fall back asleep.

You were honestly surprised to feel a damp rag being rpessed against your forehead. Not hearina Tsukasa enter a room..? It must have been a Christmas miracle, yet… it’ you glanced up at Tsukasa- the boy glancing down at you as he ad Tsukasa- the boy glancing down at you as he adjusted the rag. Grinning, he took a seat next to your bed, putting his attention on the TV playing quietly in your room.

“Tsu? You really don’t need to stay…”

“What if something happened?! I can’t leave you alone! I’ll stay right here! I promise I won’t bother you, (Y/N)!!”

Sniffling lightly, you found a small smile growing on your face despite how poor you felt. Tsukasa stood back up, declaring that he’d grab you tissues- asking where the tissues were, and where medicine was. He left the room, and you found yourself drifting off to sleep.

Hours passed before you woke back up. Despite knowing that Tsukasa planned to stay, seeing him sitting quietly in your bed, his attention on the TV still was slightly jarring. His eyes flickered over to you, and seemed to light up at realizing that you were awake.

“(Y/N)! It’s lunch time, are you hungry? Oh, oh, you should take medicine as well-!”

He hopped off the bed, running to the other side and handing you a glass of water when you sat up. He handed you a small pill, then ran out of the room.

“So energetic,” You sighed, swallowing the pill and silently encouraging yourself to at least take a few sips of water. Once he returned, it was alongside the faint and pleasant smell of soup.

“Eat up! You need to stay healthy-!!”

Taking the soup from Tsukasa’s hands, you found yourself unable to hold back the smile forming on your face. “Thanks, Tsukasa… you’re surprisingly good at taking care of me, you know that?”

To that, Tsukasa only grinned, shutting his eyes rather cutely. “I love taking care of you, (Y/N)!”

“Hey, Amane, I’m not feeling well so I’m staying home today. I just wanted to let you know. Do you think you could grab my work?”

“Of course! Are you alright? What’s wrong?”

“I’m running a fever- I’ll be fine, so don’t worry!”

Amane thought for a moment, before continuing, “Alright, (Y/N). Feel better, alright? I’ll stop by after school!”

The phone call ended, leaving you to lay back down. Hours passed, you drifted in and out of sleep- until, eventually, you woke up to someone knocking on the front door. Glancing over at the clock, you noticed that school ended not too long ago.

Forcing yourself to crawl out of bed, your entire body aching as you trudged towards the front door. Making sure that it wasn’t a stranger, you opened the front door, and offered your boyfriend the best smile you could.

“Sorry for making you get out of bed,” Amane apologized, stepping inside and letting you lock the door behind him. “Here, here, head back to bed! Are you hungry? Do you have water? Medicine?”

“I should probably make myself something to eat… I do need medicine-” You responded, making your way towards the kitchen. Quickly, Amane stepped in front of you, holding his arms out somewhat defensively.

“I’ll make you some soup! Please, go back to bed!”

“But-”

“No buts, (Y/N),” Amane declared, crossing his arms. Unwilling to argue, you turned around, making your way towards your room and practically collapsing in bed. A few minutes passed, spent silently laying half-asleep, until Amane walked into the room.

“I grabbed you some things!” He said, placing some things on your night stand, then placing his hand gently on your back. “Sit up, alright? You should eat.”

You nodded slightly sitting up and looking over at the things he placed on your night stand. “First, take some medicine,” He said, handing you the pill and a glass of water. Once you finished the medicine, he pointed at the rag. “After you eat, you can go back to bed and put this on your forehead! You look flushed, and I think you still have a fever.”

You reached for the bowl of soup when Amane picked it up, but he leaned back slightly, just barely holding it out of your reach. “I’ve got it!” He said, getting a spoonful of soup, and holding it up to you.

Your face would have flushed if you were just a bit more awake, as you ate the soup. Moments passed as you ate, Amane continuing to feed you until the bowl was empty. The room was primarily a comfortable silence, occasionally being filled with Amane asking if you were alright.

“Are you good to go back to sleep? You should at least rest. Here,” Amane spoke, placing the damp rag on your head once you placed your head back on the pillow. He stood up, gathering the bowl and empty cup of water. “I’ll get you more water, so be sure to drink it when you can.”

“Thanks, Amane,” You muttered, as he turned the corner out of your room. He peeked back in, before offering you a small smile.

“No need to thank me, (Y/N). I don’t mind at all, really.”

huehuehuehue I won't lie- I didn't know anything about stardew valley apart from the fact that it's a farming game and apparently the npcs are hot (for real)

But, I got to playing and downloading it because one of my friends suggested it after I said I wanted a chill game that I don't have to put much effort in asdfghjk-

It's pretty chill and is actually fun whenever I play, ngl tho once I achieved most of the goals given by the game and only a few more to finish, it started to become a little bit repetitive cuz all I did was do my chores around the farm and also start a family with my in-game husband lmao (my hubby is elliott, aka a long-haired writer hermit that lives in a cabin near the ocean :'D)

As a game, I definitely recommend it if you just want to live out your dream of being a farmer after resigning from a draining desk job from the city :D

One of the highlights of this game tho are the npcs fr, all of them have their own actual personality, they're not all the nice very general and lifeless npc we've come to know. Most of them have their own problems and some have their own dark-ish pasts and plot twists (it's like a telenovela bruh)

It also doubles as a decorating game (which I am a WHORE for ;D) you can decorate your house, your farm, greenhouse, hell even the sewers are available to be used :''D

all in all, a pretty good game fr (it just sucks that there's so little fics for my hubby once I started to look for them :'''D)

Also- sorry to say but I did not have breakfast cuz I fell asleep after playing- BUT I just had lunch, if that makes up for it 👉👈

you've got a knack for persuading people to join cults and i'm here for it. i'm totally 100% supporting jae's saleswoman era (/j) BUT YEAH, even from an outsider's perspective, stardew valley really does look super chill! it kinda reminds me of when animal crossing was all the talk back then (but i don't have a switch <//3).

farming game that lets you decorate + good npcs with in-depth stories??? SIGN ME UP, CHIEF. i already downloaded it on my pc a few days ago alongside another chill game called our life: beginnings and always, but i got too distracted with the latter 😭 if you're looking for a chill game that is nearly fully-customizable (it lets you customize your looks, personality, pronouns, interests, etc.) where you grow up with this lonely boy next door from childhood until adulthood, you can choose to stay as friends or develop a relationship with him — i'd deffo recc it! this game got so emotionally invested, sobssss <3

but i'll deffo get to stardew valley soon tho and give you updates >:) btw, elliott looks so babygirl and the fact that he is a hermit makes it better LMAOOO i think i'm gonna have fun affectionately bullying him when i meet him.
