Removing the money aspect from the equation, because I just know that debt secret is coming to light on a red-eye flight, BARS, I could understand Yei's frustration with Yak. As soon as he started seeing Wandee and Ter everywhere, I knew it was a wrap. Even though I knew Yak was going to lose, to see how he lost even had me irate. As soon as he was down for the count I said it looked like he purposely threw the match, and that's literally one of the headlines or comments that comes up next. That's when Yak's integrity can come into question, but not just his but his entire gym. He is the face of this thing, so yeah. It isn't a good look if the perception is he is throwing fights that really don't matter.
As for Oyei's comment about investing in Yak, I can see it being two-fold. I absolutely think it has something to do with the debt that he's hiding from everyone, and Cher is going to his momma's house once he finds out, but! He does invest in Yak. Spending countless hours training him, and pouring time and effort into Yak's career is investing in Yak. So him being pissed when his perception is that Yak isn't taking this fight seriously, is understandable. Now was he right? No, because we know that Yak is going through something personal right now, and so does Cher because he has common sense. He peeped something was wrong when Dee was calling Yak's phone, and Yak just wanted to train. He has emotional intelligence, which Oyei lacks. I think Oyei gets tunnel vision when it comes to boxing, e.g. Cher being upset with him in Ep. 5 and now Yak being down in Ep. 7, so much so that he can miss cues when something is off. That, and this debt situation is probably taking up a lot of space in his head. I need these two brothers to talk to one another. No one wins when the family feuds.

Edit: One thing about them Phadetseuk men is that they will carry a boulder on their back alone if it means not letting someone down. Yei's boulder is his debt, and Yak's is the pressure of the gym's reputation and finishing school.
