I love that DAA is you, the first five people you find who will actually agree to join the Grey Wardens (none of whom are ideal recruits), and a spirit that accidentally falls out of the Fade.
#Like I love the idea of “after the fifth blight there are between 1-2.5 grey wardens in all of Ferelden”#(the .5 is for Avernus who kind of counts?)#And so your primary goal is recruiting to rebuild the order#And Grey Wardens are generally lionized as these brave shining heroes fighting back the darkness very noble etc#But the reality is being a grey warden kind of sucks and generally people don't want to live that life#So you end up with five of the most maladjusted people imaginable and one bonus fade spirit who is going to find out what maladjustment is!#The reasons the DAA gang joins you range from “I got nothing better to do” to “I don't want to but I'm being conscripted”#To “if I join this stupid shitty club I can fuck off underground and die probably”#None of these people are what the world thinks of when it thinks “picture a grey warden” and I think that's so cool and fun#And Velanna should kill anyone she wants I love her#aging dragons
