Love tuning a physical radio, great way to waste a morning
#Also love 'not realising Ken Bruce had moved to a new station after leaving Radio 2#and thinking I'd stepped into the world's most mundane time warp'#For anyone whose parents are of similar tastes to mine and haven't been getting their Popmaster fix#He's on commercial radio now- something called Greatest Hits radio apparently on Medium Wave#Possibly based out of Tayside or Fife but I think there's an internet subscription version if not local too#Which isn't the BBC but still it's their own stupid fault for constantly messing with Radio 2#I haven't got anything done#I was just trying to figure out whether I could get Radio 5 live clearly#And kept getting distracted by everything from Dvorak to Montell Jordan#Who has the time#Apparently me#Nothing like the soothing crackle and fizzle of a poorly tuned radio on a summer morning#Anyway time to switch it off and go over to the Ashes coverage but I'm almost sad
