Okay, I have been proven otherwise... Kind of.

So if you type "Rell rework" into search bar you'll get barrage of people talking about Reddit thread by Rioter talking about changes. The video I watched doesn't even link said reddit because why would it? What is he writing? A thesis? C'mon get real, it's just a description of clickbait.

Why clickbait? Because the video (and subsequently the IG post I was talking about) says "reworked abilities leaked" and the only leak is in their ass istg.

I get that you need clickbait for traction and algorithm. I really do. But in the video the snippets of the thread are not leaking shit. They're talking about possible changes or plans. One would assume leak would refer to actual new animations or abilities on a testing field being shown. That's not the case.

I also find the subset of Rell mains/players not bothering to look for said changes before they take up arms, really asinine. As I said for some reason player base is allergic to change, even when it's for the better. In the thread they're talking about the biggest problems Rell's kit has (abysmal passive that effectively doesn't do anything and additionally is punishing her with lower attack speed rate, Q that serves one purpose and one purpose only with low damage values and cringe healing mechanic, W that is too abuseble with stupid slow down mechanics and E that is clanky buggy mess that doesn't serve as CC tool or damage tool is just there to be fucking useless) and ways to fix them and players still find reasons to *NOT* fix them. Like bitch pick a struggle. "Oh but I like her this way". Girl not a single ability change in sight what are you on? You're right. Better leave a champion this way because Rebbeca from Salt Lake city likes it that way. Fuck thousands of other players who either can't or won't play a champion! Not to mention that currently the only reason you'd pick Rell is because you really like her. It's not about being meta slave and Rell being bottom of F tier or whatever. It's about Rell being unplayable by the fact, that other engage supports do everything she does but better. Rell offers fun cavalier fantasy but in game is outclassed by everything that has one strong CC anyway. You cannot control vision, you don't roam better than others anymore, your cc chain is easily disruptable and not that strong in the first place, and to top it all you don't bring good respectable utility into the mix. Want strong woman charging in dick first? Leona has stronger CC chain, is effectively bulkier and can potentially walk away from bad engage. Want some utility in there? Alistar has amazing healing, strong CC and amazing tanking prowess to boot. I don't fucking care about personal feelings, fix issues that are apparent. I don't care if Rebbeca will drop the champion after it becomes popular or it becomes reasonably playable. It's not about personal feelings or fixing meta. It's about not making glaringly and painfully underwhelming champion, with kit issues that are easily fixable. The variety in champions is to make each one excel at something and Rell does not deliver on that front. Fuck Rebbeca. Trolley problem my ass.

I love these kind of posts;

"Hey did you know that [place name of a thing] is getting [place name of an action]?" And you look for sources of this bullshit information and in the bottom right, with fine print you can read;

Like, is spreading misinformation fun or smth? I'm talking about posting something stupid that can be Google search in 10 seconds and proven to be nonsense. What's the fucking point?
