In Akko-chan’s Got A Secret μ (ひみつのアッコちゃんμ), they updated the look of the Magic mirror to be more like a hand mirror. In my mind, it looks more like the magic mirror in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

My @lwasanta secret santa gift for @cherriechar. Sorry it took so long, finals are a bitch and the sun sets at like 2 pm here so i had to wait for daylight to get a good picture.

They wanted something of their favourite characters saying goodbye after graduation, so here is slightly older Amanda and Diana seeing Akko off at the airport. Also tall Akko propaganda.

If you've not heard that Hime-chan's Ribbon and Akko-chan's Secret have manga reboots, you have now! Hime-chan's Ribbon Colorful was seriealized in Ribon from 2009 to 2010 and compiled into 4 volumes changes up the mascot within its' updated setting (Princess Erika now has shapeshiting powers and her cat self now replaces Pokota the lion) and is illustrated by the artist who did the Powerpuff Girls Z manga adaptation while Akkoo-chan's Secret μ ("Myu") is a web manga written by Hiroshi Izawa and (very notably) illustrated by the Kamikita Twins (best known for the manga adaptations of all the Precure anime continuities and providing promo illustrations for new episodes of the yearly Precure universe that's currently airing)

I've heard of the Akko-Chan reboot but not of Hime-Chan's reboot! I think both are so interesting and I really wish I'd be able to read them in English (esp after I get to and finish Hime-Chan's Ribbon)!

I was wrong about the magic mirror in this version of the story being a hand mirror. Obviously that initial object was, but she does end up with a mirrored compact.
