Tumblr media
Agatha crawled her way out of the dirt, her hands scratching and pulling at the bits that remained on her face. Her hair all crinkly and dried. The scent of mud reeked from her as a worm wiggled it's way off of her.
Agatha was fuming with rage, but also impressed at your power. She had a suspicion you were one of Wanda's kids when you showed up at her house. The two fo you shared facial expressions so she had a hutch but you throwing her into the dirt and killing Lilia and Jen confirmed it for her.
--
You were walking on the road, on your way to the next trial. Your mind conflicted, you didn't know you had that in you. To just kill two witches, two innocent witches with the snap of a hand.
You shuddered at the thought, you didn't want to be a bad guy and kill innocent people. It was just an accident, you just wanted your family back and Agatha was getting on your nerves. Tears filled your eyes as your vision began to get blurry. You stopped your walking and sat on a abnormally large rock. There you just sat and pondered for a moment.
--
A smirk appeared on Agatha's face as she saw your jittery frame appear into her sight. The witch approached you with the lightest hand on your shoulder. Her touch ghosted your skin, you jumped up. Gasping softly as your eyes met hers.
"Agatha, I-" You stuttered. How was this possible? You thought you had gotten rid of her, was she not dead? You thought to yourself as Agatha's voice broke you from your trance.
"Can't get rid of me that easily, toots." Her voice purred, almost lulling you in. There was something different to her. Agatha was acting rather strange. Her movements were more... seductive.
No, it couldn't be. You were just reading into the situation too much.
--
Agatha brought her hand to rest on your chin. Her thumb stroked your cheek. "I know it's you, hun. Don't need to hide from me Sweetheart." Agatha cooed. She noticed your eyes widened, as you begin to fall into her trap, fall right into submission. Just as she wanted you.

I still enjoyed the episode by the way! And some friends are happy for the jewish rep at the start of the ep which was cool, and learning more about billy and how he came to be in William’s body / him searching for tommy IS interesting
my own disappointments are because i got my own hopes up that there would be some agathario content, but I did enjoy the ep and am rewatching it now to just try to digest everything :)

Wait….? People are mad about this episode?? Why?? It was SOOO good!
An original story for William/Billy, a cute little teen gay love story, a return of Evan Peters as whoever he is now, seeing that whole first episode from Billy’s perspective and how absolutely ridiculous and hilarious the situation was, and finding out Agatha survived and that you can see she genuinely cares for this kid, the clear dichotomy of how the road has already changed Billy when you see the beginning and the now put together so quickly back to back without the intervening 4 episodes, AND it ending with an Agatha and Billy team up as they continue to walk the road. This was a PERFECT episode following the big reveal!!!
We’ll get more Agatha and Rio eventually. And I’m sure the rest of the coven will pop back up at some point. Their stories can’t end that abruptly. There are still 3 more episodes!! A third of this show still left!! A LOT can happen still.
But this was a SOLID episode with an AMAZING character origin and motivations setting storyline. And freaking Billy and Eddie were so cute!!

do you know what’s pissing me off? the fact that i don’t think people are understanding how the road (or at least the end of it) works.
i’m seeing so many people mad and saying stuff like “oh billy you better be wishing your mother back instead of your brother” or whatever (which i could ALSO talk about how… bitch of course he wants his brother back ?? he can feel him while for all he knows his mother is dead.)
but at the end of the road, you don’t get a wish granted?? its not a wish. you better back what you are MISSING. he is MISSING his brother, both literally (he can’t find him) and figuratively (emotionally missing him). there’s literally the shot of the note book that says “tommy - missing” while the song repeats “i’ll see you at the end.”
either way, i lowkey believe you don’t chose what you get at the end of the road, at least not completely. i don’t think that you can just go to the end of the road and “wish” for whatever you want no matter how plausible it is. it’s genuinely just what you are missing most.
of course billy wants to get his TWIN brother back.

Billy is "black heart" on Lila's list because of the sigil. She couldn't write his name.
A theory I saw that made me realize this was the theory that the reason Alice got fired from being a police officer was because she couldn't get a statement from William's parents. She couldn't hear them say his name or like anything about him.
Also explains why they got to open the door in the first place because as far as we know, Sharon isn't actually a witch. How could they have accessed the road without the 5th witch?

So Billy doesn't know his name for sure until the night he meets Agatha, and even then, he's not certain until he tries the name on for size and tells Agatha that he is Billy Maximoff. And poignantly, she didn't even hear his name, and he didn't know that until the other witches tell him about the sigil. Not only is he not sure about his name, his actual identity, but the people he can tell won't be able to hear it.
Agatha assuring him that you can know who a person is without knowing their name has so many layers to it.
So, the relief when Agatha acknowledges him as his actual/chosen name at the end of episode 6 is palpable.
I've seen people talk about how trans coded Billy's story is in this episode, and this adds to it. He doesn't have the gender dysphoria but the horror of seeing himself in a body that he doesn't recognise and having to pretend to be a person with a name that isn't his. Then, when his boyfriend thinks about saying to him: "William Kaplan, I love you", he instantly realises that he doesn't want him to use that name when he tells him that. He wants to be known. He "comes out" to Eddie. And Eddie readily accepting who he is is so loving and beautiful.
Also, does Billy Maximoff remember any of his past in the hex now that the sigil is removed? Does he remember his time with Agatha or his family? He has a feeling about Tommy but does he have the memories too now?

One of my absolute favourite things from ep 6 of AAA is Agatha's delight in Billy's newly revealed dark side. I am waiting with bated breath for some massively talented gif maker (i.e. all of them - anyone who makes gifs is a true superhero) to put together a set of Agatha's micro-expressions as she interacts with Billy.
Agatha tries to take charge and head off down the road as if nothing has happened. Billy's response: "We? ... But I don't need you anymore." We zoom in on Agatha's face and she is slightly shocked and taken aback, but then her face changes. Her eyes light up. Even as her eyebrows lower questioningly, the edges of a smile are beginning around her lips. She's thrilled and curious all at once.
Billy tries to call on his power. To do what? We don't know, but the last time he did that he threw Agatha into the Mud. This time around, nothing happens. But look at Agatha's initial reaction - not to be afraid (which she well might be, given the fact she nearly died last time and for all she knows, Jen and Lilia definitely did), but to be interested. Her expression includes a little nod of expectation - an unvoiced, "Well go on then" which then turns to laughter as she realises nothing's happening.
Agatha goads Billy into revealing that he's on the road to find Tommy and allows herself a little vent 'you're such a Maximoff'. As a result, Billy gets right into her face: "He's my brother." Again - you see the shift in Agatha - wariness and care as she realises the danger that he presents, immediately followed by the beginnings of a smile. It's not a rage-bait smile, it's one of delighted interest. She LOVES seeing this newly expressed dark side in him. She knows it's dangerous, but she's just so engaged in wanting to see what's driving him and what's going to come next. She even has to shut herself down when she realises she's pushing him a little too far in the moments that follow.
For me, these are showing us an aspect of Agatha's personality that has always been there. She is fascinated and thrilled by both power and the darkness in people, and longs to experience and explore it. I've never seen it as clearly as in these moments though, and those micro-expressions are doing so much amazing work.
Agatha is under no illusions - she knows that Billy is dangerous. He's already nearly killed her once, and clearly is ready to use his power on her again. But for all that, she wants to see where he's going next SO badly.
Loving this dynamic, loving these character revelations, and can't wait for the next episode to see what's next for them!
(As soon as an applicable gifset appears, watch me break the sound barrier as I rush to reblog them.)
