i got my old previews psds back, yayyy!! 😄
this was requested by Fysh over on the simscord, and i have wanted to do something like this for almost a year now, so of course i jumped at their suggestion! have 8 new, modest outfits and head coverings for muslim sims, created by @bokchoijo, converted to ts2. have the first part of the modesty collection!
by downloading this, you will get:
Casual Hijab 06 -> 1990 polys, TF-EF, 10 swatches, Hair binned as Custom
Abaya 07 -> 5631 polys, TF repo'd to AF, EF Enabled, 10 swatches, Everyday/Formal, paired with Jius-Sims Square Toe Pumps 01
Headwrap 01 -> 1726 polys, TF-EF, 12 swatches, Hair binned as Custom
Fullcover Niqab -> 2676 polys, TF-EF, 9 swatches, Hair binned as Custom
Casual Hijab 09 -> 2850 polys, TF-EF, 12 swatches, Hair binned as Custom
Abaya 06 -> 4582 polys, TF repo'd to AF, EF Enabled, 10 swatches, Everyday/Formal, paired with BG Boat Shoes
Abaya 05 -> 4674 polys, TF repo'd to AF, EF Enabled, 12 swatches, Everyday/Formal, paired with EP03 Dorsay
Abaya 04 -> 4661 polys, TF repo'd to AF, EF Enabled, 8 swatches, Everyday/Formal, paired with Jius-Sims Slingback Kitten Heels 01
as someone who has grown up in a muslim country (but is not muslim myself) i have always felt sad by the lack of modest clothing options this game has. not everyone wants to wear 987 different crop tops out (though of course, they have the option to!) i really hope this can add more diversity and representation to my own game, and others' 🥰
DOWNLOAD: SFS | MF 🧕
credits go to wonderful @bokchoijo for these incredible original ts4 meshes & textures, and of course to ea/maxis and @jius-sims for the original ts4 shoes these oufits have been paired with! plus to @applewatersugar for helping me while i was losing my mind smooth-boning 😅
DISCLAIMER
i don't pretend to be perfect, so i won't pretend that this set is, either. at certain extreme angles or facial features you may notice some deformations with the hijabs, certain spots of skin poking out, etc. i have done my best to limit these oddities to the minimum, feel free to check out my creation process over on the simscord! but i have always hoped to add more representation and diversity to my game, and i pray this makes you guys as happy as it has made me 💖 please, please don't be afraid to let me know if i screwed up anywhere!
SWATCHES
head coverings: casual hijab 06, 09, fullcover niqab, headwrap 01👆; abayas: 04, 05, 06, 07 👇
if there are any issues that you find with this set, please don't be afraid to let me know! happy simming, and when you download this, do keep in mind,
Love, ~ Ky 💞

CASUAL HIJAB #3 SIMS 4 CC
Hello, here's a new hijab to add to the collection. Available in 25 colors. For matching looks use my abaya HERE. This one is quite a challenge since I tried to make the hijab longer, I feel like I can edit the weight around the arm more so it deforms better but I'm quite happy with it for now. Will definitely tweak it more for the next project.
A bit of side info, My CC will always be free for everyone but if you like & enjoy what i create & want to show some love & support you can do so by buying me a coffee ☕.
All that aside, enjoy :)
Casual Hijab 03 SFS
Base game compatible
New mesh
Feel free to recolor my CC but don’t include the mesh. Link back to this original post
Please don’t upload to other site
Please don’t claim as your own
You can tag me if you want if you use my cc

Hey so taking advantage of your dune fashionposting while you’re still doing it, what do you think fremen would wear just sort of casually in the sietch? Because as much as i love the costume design for the movies, come ON denis they’re not just going to be in sad beige ALL THE TIME. Like yeah out in the desert sure camo makes sense, but at home when they’re not fully suited up, or for special occasions?? PATTERNS!! COLORS!! Obviously still stuff you can get from natural dyes but like come ON. Geez sorry this turned into a rant i’m sorry.
So obviously the typical abayas and thawbs, and other universal arabic clothing suited for a hot climate. But in particular, I always imagine the clothing of the Bedouin (the inspiration for the Fremen), the Tuareg, and other desert dwelling nomadic cultures. Relatively simple and loose garments, though they can still be customized and decorated, especially for important events like weddings and such.
#dune#I love you lightweight loose clothing that's been used for thousands of years by the ppl of the deserts#don't fix it if it aint broke

Things I’m doing to as part of recovering from a stifling 4 year long depressive state.
1. Building a work wardrobe because I have no professional items to wear to like an interview or just the job in general. Every job I’ve had up until this point has had a uniform so there was no need but i don’t want to be at that kind of job forever.
2. Building up a maintenance routine. Consistently getting my eyebrows done, nails done, and natural hair serviced seems like a normal and basic thing for a woman to do but it is difficult when you didn’t even feel like you were worth it. Now I have to work harder to develop that habit post high school.
3. Building up a casual wardrobe so that I can actually go outside. When I say I have nothing to wear I mean it so genuinely. After taking off my hijab and getting rid of the cheap quality abayas that I had bought (practically falling apart at the seams), the only clothes I have are my work uniform and loungewear from my clothing brand. It’s cute, but it’s not enough. I need things I can wear not just to the movies but also to a dinner, if I’m invited, or to a casual conference for networking purposes.
With that being said I’m so excited to be proactive in this next phase of my life. The little version of me had a dream life and I cannot settle for mediocrity.
Speaking of leveling up, y’all know they on TikTok hating the girls that make level up content for black girls. Lord.

Modern Arabic Clothing: A Blend of Tradition and Contemporary Style
Modern Arabic clothing represents a unique fusion of traditional elements and contemporary fashion trends, creating an array of garments that honor cultural heritage while embracing modern aesthetics. This blend of old and new is evident in the designs, fabrics, and styles that are popular today, reflecting a dynamic evolution in the fashion industry. At the forefront of this transformation is the renowned brand, Ahmed Alabady, which has become synonymous with high-quality and innovative Arabic fashion.
Traditionally, Arabic clothing has been characterized by its modesty and elegance. Garments such as the abaya, thawb, and hijab are not only cultural symbols but also reflect the principles of modesty in Islam. However, modern Arabic clothing has introduced new design elements that cater to contemporary tastes without compromising these values. For instance, abayas now come in a variety of cuts, colors, and fabrics, featuring intricate embroidery, lace, and even sequins to appeal to fashion-forward individuals.
Ahmed Alabady has played a pivotal role in this transformation. The company’s designers skillfully merge traditional silhouettes with modern trends, offering a diverse range of clothing that appeals to a global audience. Their collections include chic abayas with asymmetrical designs, tailored kaftans that highlight the waist, and stylish hijabs in bold prints and vibrant colors. These innovations make it possible for women to express their individuality and style while adhering to cultural norms.
The fabric selection is another crucial aspect of modern Arabic clothing. Whereas traditional garments were primarily made from cotton or wool to suit the desert climate, contemporary designs by Ahmed Alabady utilize a variety of materials, including silk, chiffon, and jersey. These fabrics not only enhance comfort but also add a luxurious feel to the garments, making them suitable for both casual and formal occasions.
Men's fashion has also seen significant changes. Traditional thawbs have been updated with modern cuts and embellishments, offering a more tailored and sophisticated look. Ahmed Alabady’s men’s collection includes thawbs with unique collar designs, cufflinks, and even subtle embroidery, ensuring that men too can enjoy a modern yet respectful approach to traditional attire.
In conclusion, modern Arabic clothing exemplifies the perfect blend of tradition and contemporary style, thanks to innovative brands like Ahmed Alabady. By respecting cultural values while embracing modernity, Ahmed Alabady continues to lead the way in providing fashionable and versatile options for those who wish to celebrate their heritage with a modern twist. This approach not only preserves the essence of Arabic fashion but also ensures its relevance in today’s ever-evolving fashion landscape

Trying to curate my personal style. I don’t want to stray too far away from representing myself as a Muslim African but at the very least I want to stay modest.
Im trying to find a cross between casual but comfortable, Colorful but not over the top, gold but dainty, and something that looks good with a pair of white tennis shoes.
The problems I face is I have broad shoulders and a large bust. This makes it so that it I don’t wear something that defines my waist, I’ll look heavier than I actually am. Breast reduction is currently in the works.
I think I’ll stick to open abayas with a T-shirt and pants underneath , a matching hijab, and gold jewelry. The pants and shirt combo will give me casualty. The abayas prints, colors , and fabric type will add a cultural element. The gold jewelry will add whimsicality depending on the design.
