i often binge watch dr phil on youtube while i draw/paint/knit/sort beads*/etc and it is SOOOO FUNNY TO MEEEEE when people complain about how he ~always finds a reason to plug the books he's written~

what kind of idiot WOULDN'T advertise their own book on their own talk show???? OF COURSE he's advertising his book!

and also???? people leave pissy comments every time he advertises the businesses of his wife and kids????

WHAT KIND OF USELESS DEADBEAT HUSBAND/FATHER WOULD NOT ADVERTISE HIS FAMILY'S BUSINESSES ON HIS NATIONWIDE TALK SHOW???? a good husband/father SHOULD support the pursuits of his family in whatever ways they can, and if you just happen to be an absurdly famous talk show host, then one of those ways is to tell millions of people every day to go spend money on you!

i mean gosh, there are plenty of criticisms to be made about the sensationalistic, exploitative nature of reality shows and talk shows, and plenty of reasons to criticize phil mcgraw, but Advertising His Family's Businesses is not one of them lmfao.

I gotta say, after playing a wizard in DnD, it's pretty refreshing to jump into the other end of the spectrum and going fighter.

Wizard hitting level 5: Yay, I got third level spells! Oh gods, the choices, there's a billion options that all feel important, how I'm ever gonna be able to choose, oh no, what if I pick wrong, do I pick more damage spells or crowd control or support, I mean Fire Ball is a classic, but what's the other thing I should pick, oh no, I'm running out of preparation slots...

The six-year-old boy was currently curled up in a cozy spot in the castle library, minding his own business mostly, with at least three stacks of books around him. And.. these weren’t really children’s book, but considering the intelligence of the child in question, that wasn’t entirely surprising. Really, it was the subject material that was likely to be a problem.

For Hunter had found stacks and stacks of books, regarding Grimwalkers. Not necessarily about how to make them, but quite an expansive collection of legends about them. A fourth stack of books rested at his left, all books he’d already finished, and those were ones regarding diplomacy and politics, as well as military strategy and the history of the Boiling Isles. But the one in his hands now.. only a couple dozen pages or so in, was a large tome regarding Grimwalkers and their history. And he was fully engrossed in it.

He was so small in the large armchair in the corner, remarkably small for his age, but the fact was that he was highly intelligent, and of course.. that intelligence led to curiosity, and curiosity, especially regarding the wrong subjects, was very much a problem around this castle. When his uncle entered the library, Hunter hardly even noticed. Perhaps a brief twitch of his ear to acknowledge the sound of someone arriving, but his eyes never left the pages of the book.

In a surprise twist of events I just got a text message from my boss in the warehouse asking if I can get back to work next week already. A whole month earlier than previously planned!

She contacted both only when she needed a favour or information. There is literally no reason to think Wednesday is interested romantically in any of them . She helped you repair the coffee machine? She saved you from burning without realizing it? Girl shows minimum of courtesy to a boy and he already believes she's in love with him. The only two characters besides her family she shows genuine liking is Eugene (bcuz he reminds her of Pugsley) and Enid.
